"Thanks, I suppose you're right." Mal stared down at Apollo, who wasn't paying much attention to either of them, and smiled. "I don't know about how they would do against you, but I know that they all have a lot of potential in them." He patted Apollo on the head and then looked back up at Fulgrim. "The first gym in the line is always pretty easy. And yes, the Pewter gym does specialize in rock types. When I challenged it a few years back, the gym leader was a guy named Brock. I don't know if he's still there or not, but if he is, his team consisted of a Geodude and an Onyx. We can get a move on now if you'd like. I just have to find my Weavile first."
As if she knew it was time to come back, Nyx rushed up with a cheesey grin on her face. As she rejoined the group, she smiled up at Mal and hel out her hands, presenting him with a single bottle of potion and three Pokeballs. "Oh geez.....where did you find these?" Mal sighed as he took the objects. Nyx simply made a noise that sounded like a short laugh and returned to her Pokeball of her own accord.

Ray ray laughed as Vibe began to walk away with a blush across his face. "so, shall we head on inside?" he asked as he motioned towards the pokemon center

Tarah quickly returned Fireball and handed over her pokemon to nurse joy. "Thank you Nurse Joy..." she said with a smile.
Missy jumped off of Tarah's shoulder and followed Nurse Joy into the treatment room to get charged up.
Tarah, went over to a couch and sat down with a sigh, as she ran her fingers through one of her brown pig tails.

(( We could say that was past tense for her Eevee's evolution, as in say that happened last night. :3 ))
Charcoal finally got to the Pokemon Center and landed a few feet from the crator that Flyoki created. Kumori jumped off onto the ground as Pietro flew around in the air. Kumori turned to face Charcoal and he did his unique curtsy-bow. "Thank you so very much for the ride." He said to Charcoal. He then elegantly blew Charcoal a kiss, blowing it from his open palm.

"Alright, then... if everything's accounted for, we should head off, I hate having to camp out while travelling, it makes me feel more like a hobo and less like a trainer" Fulgrim said with a grin. "hmmmm... rock types... rock types" he was mumbling under his breath, drumming on the pokeballs on his belt lightly with two fingers, thinking of what he had with him would be most effective against rock pokemon. Mortarion should be pretty solid, Dorn will be great... Perturabo will stand up to them, Sanguinius will also be fine... that should be fine, it'll probably be a three vs three anyways... that's pretty standard.
Fulgrim's half cocked smile returned as he saw the Weavile return with some "obatined" supplies before returning to it's pokeball.

Mal put the items in his bag and tightened the straps over his shoulders. "Alright then. Nyx is back, and I have nothing left to do here in town, so let's go ahead and get a move on." Mal snapped his fingers towards Apollo and started walking. Apollo grinned and hopped foreward so that he was following right next to his trainer like the loyal partner he was. "Bah, camping out is all part of the experience my friend. Although the comforts of a bed definitely sound better than the ground."

Fulgrim let out a sigh, glanced around checking he had all of his stuff, tapped all his various pockets making a mental checklist, ran his fingers along his belt, making sure all his pokeballs were there. Satisfied that everything was in order he reached up and patted the tough rubbery purple leather that made up his Weezing's skin. "Ready to go?" he asked to Mortarion, he was met with a throaty sigh and a puff of rancid yellow gas.
He leaned away from Mortarion with a smile "You know, you're a gross pokemon" He said half-jokingly, "Come on then..." he called as he began to walk closer to Apollo and Mal, the Weezing silently floating behind him.

Sara was happy that Eeevee evolved, and she was finally able to battle.
She was going through a forest with her Umbreon by her side, as well as her Feebas floating above the ground too. She wanted to catch more Pokemon and finally become a trainer. She had the opportunity to do so during the weekend.
"Feeeee bas, fee bas," Feebas yawned.
"I know you're tired but let's just keep searching," Sara wheedled.
Umbreon twitched its ears, and Sara heard something lurking in the green bushes. Umbreon charged at the push with speed and tackled whatever was in the bushes. Out came a Chimchar.
"Oh my God, a Chimchar! It looks cute!" Sara exclaimed, awing at it. "A fire type is decent for the team, lets catch it-" Apparently, the Chimchar used Flamethrower on Sara, and Sara moved out of the way. Feebas looked angry.
"Umbreon!" Umbreon tackled it again, pinning it down and the Chimchar couldn't move. Sara began to take out an empty Pokeball.
"Weaken that Chimchar, Umbreon! Use Dark Pulse, but don't hurt it too much!" Sara commanded. Umbreon did as she was told, and Chimchar flinched. Sara threw the Pokeball at Chimchar, prayed for it to stay in, and it did. Sara let out a shout of triumph.
"Yes! I obtained a Chimchar!" She said proudly. "Okay, take a good rest Umbreon." Sara called Umbreon back to the Pokeball. "You too Feebas!" Feebas was also called back.

Apollo followed behind his trainer silently. The coming battles weighing heavily on his mind. The last time their group challenged the Kanto League, he wan't stronge enough to make it into the finals. He had let Mal down, even after evolving. What if he still wasn't good enough? What if all that training he and Mal had done for the last few months failed? He would let his trainer down again. The small reptile let out a soft sigh, the worries filling his mind with unresolved fury.
Mal was looking over his map again as the group walked. He had marked off all the places he had intended to go in the park, but with the addition of a travelling companion, his plans would have to change slightly. It didn't bother him much though. Planning ahead was never that important to him. The adventure was all he needed to be happy. As he folded his map again, he glanced back at Fulgrim. "So, have you made a plan about how you're going to defeat the first gym?"

It seemed for some reason a sort of a surreal question, and it took Fulgrim a moment to plan, and visualize before responding. "uuuuh... I guess I was just going to bring everything I have that would give me a natural advantage, I mean... it's gonna be probably rocky or sandy terrain, and he'll be using a lot of pretty tanky pokemon, so I have to bring members of my team that are comfortable on land, but won't have a huge problem dealing with rock types... I guess my Kingler and scizor would be obvious choices, but I haven't thought too much about my third... if I remember correctly what I read, out here most of the gym battles are three versus three." he paused for a moment to think about the other pokemon he had at his disposal. "...I suppose mortarion here would be a pretty good call, he doesn't have to worry too much about ground attacks, and he's tough as nails... great for stalling with the more physical pokemon..." He let out a chuckle. "and... that's about as far as I've thought it through. I was considering bringing my Gyarados, because things like Onix are a pain for my team which is mostly medium and smaller pokemon, it's hard for them to really deal with something that can use it's sheer size as a defense... You have any ideas?"

(( I hope not, I was waiting for Kimanao to post but I guess I will...))
Lilly sat for a bit then sighed, getting up, she went out side the to meet up with her new found friends since they hadn't come in yet. She smiled at them, "Hey...are you slow pokes coming in?" she joked with a laugh, "We can eat something, charge up our pokemon and get going..." she said as she eyed the three coordiantors.

Ray ray looked over at Lilly and yelled, "im coming im coming" he said with smile as he returned Vide back to his pokeball and Blaze stepped up to his side as they walked in past Lilly and headed towards the counter that stood in front of a cherry nurse joy, "how may help you today" said the nurse joy happily. Ray ray stopped in front of the desk, "hi'ya nurse joy" he said friendly as he removed his 5 pokeballs from his trainer belt and handed them to her, "ide just like em' to be taken care of" he said as he filled out some paper work.
once he finished filling out the paper work and looked over at blaze, "ok, c'mon buddy, lemme have the sqeky toy" he said sternly but Blaze only looked at him and gave him a playful growl, "c'mon!" he said as he jumped at blazes mouth and grabbed the squeky toy. but blaze was much to strong and would not let the toy out of his mouth and proceeded to drag Ray Ray around the poke-center with Ray Ray still holding onto the toy and a look of utter dimay upon his face as the giant dog like pokemon continued to drool on him and pull him around the floor...

"Well......" Mal crossed his arms and tapped his chin for a moment, thinking hard. "I can understand the size difference being a serious problem. Most of my team is rather small as well, with the exception of Baldur. But I didn't have him in my team the last time I was here in Kanto." Mal thought harder, trying to think of how a small Pokemon could handle a large Pokemon. "I guess.....if most of your team is small, speed would be the best way to handle a larger opponent. Bigger Pokemon tend to be pretty slow on land, right? So make them expend all their energy chasing you, while hitting them whenever the chance arises."
