StarrySeas Mriae "Cyclone, use Fly and be of some use; take this Absol back to the proper person," Bonnie said, her attention still on the trainer's and the little Misdreavus. She couldn't let her guard down. The battle wasn't over yet, and if she did, then lost her focus then it would be all over. All of their hard work and planning would have been for nothing. Eyes narrowed and brow furrowed, the grunt determined she was not going to let that happen.
Cyclone flew up and flapped his wings vigorously. With enough force, the net would lift up into the air, just like his trainer wanted to. The Pidgeot then hesitated in his flapping. If the Absol struggled too much, then he wouldn't be getting anywhere. Something had to be done, something to where the Absol couldn't struggle. Out of the corner of his eye, the bird pokemon glanced over at the Charmelon and called out for some assistance. "Piiiiidge!"
With the Misdreavus attacking at Pandora, Bonnie jumped on this opportunity. "Riptide, hit that Misdreavus with an Ice Beam, now!' Riptide's eyes narrowed at the ghost pokemon. Apparently, he was angry for the ghost pokemon attacking Pandora. No one hurt his friends! "Waaaaarr!" he cried, an Ice Beam shooting out of his mouth and directly at the already weakened pokemon. This would show 'em! No one messed with him!
Clyde had nothing to do for now, the Absol- soon to be his Absol, he thought with glee - would be brought to Seth any moment. Then he noticed how much the Absol was struggling as the Pidgeot cried out. "Pandora, get over there and paralyze the Absol with a Thunder Punch. We don't want him escaping."
Pandora was off with a nod of her head, charging up a Thunder Punch as she waddled toward Cyclone and the net. She was getting really tired now, the Perish song sapping her strength. The Thunder Punch was a weak one, but strong enough to keep the Absol from breaking out of the net for a few minutes while the Perish song finished him off. Pandora jumped with her fist above her head at the stranded Absol, hopefully he'd be easier to hit since he was caught in the net.
"That'll do, Pandora. Come and sit. You'll be staying out until the Perish song takes effect, in case you're needed." The Charmeleon walked back over to her Master and plopped down at his side, grateful for the praise and rest. Perish Song Counter is now at 2. The Ice Beam struck the Misdreavus, and with a shriek, the ghost faded away and its beads hit the ground. The Pokemon had fainted. The trainers were still surrounded by flame and could only look on. "Oh no, Misdreavus!" the girl cried, unable to return her to her ball because of the wall of fire. "My Absol!" the boy shouted, watching as the Pidgeot tried to carry it off in the net. The Absol continued to struggle but as the Charmeleon hit with a thunderpunch, it seemed to do the trick and the dark mon went limp... at least for the moment.

Bouncy_Pineapple "Can I see your Pokemon?" Leonard blurted out a bit too eagerly. "I can show you mine! I mean, I only have one right now but she's pretty cool too..." Gawd, he sounded like he was a complete newb rather than an experienced trainer... Ok, he was a bit on the fresh side, but did he really have to sound so idiotic? He really wanted to see what kind of Pokemon this guy had though. And a Pokemon outside its Pokeball would be easier to steal. Right? The over eagerness was lost on the trainer, and simply taken for shared enthusiasm. "Sure man!" He then took a ball off his belt and released what was inside. "Rai!" the mouse 'mon called as it was released, then sat back and folded its arms, looking just as punk as its trainer.

Finally, that darn Misdreavus had fainted! It had taken the ghost pokemon long enough. The grunt thought it would never faint. A smirk crossed her face then, and Bonnie casually walked over to where the Misdreavus had disappeared. A hand reached down, only to pluck the string of red beads off of the ground. "I'll be taking these," she said with a cool tone, "they'd make a nice gift for my mother." Of course, she was being sarcastic. The beads wouldn't be given to her mother cause eventually the fainted pokemon would show back up again. Misdreavus could never leave their beads, after all.
With the beads in hand, Bonnie then turned to look at her Pidgeot with the net holding the now paralyzed Absol in his talons. "Fly, Cyclone," she said, turning to meet the gaze of her Wartortle. "And you, Riptide. If that blasted Absol starts to move, hit it with an Ice Beam." This battle - it was getting boring, not to mention frustrating. All she wanted to do was to get out of there with the pokemon they were stealing, and the sooner, the better. Both of her pokemon nodded; Cyclone flapping to take off and pushing off the ground, and Riptide staying on the offensive. All of them had to be ready, just in case.

xx xxHayes had been hanging toward the back of the group for some time now. At first it had seemed like the grunt's usual unhurried approach to things, but now Switch was starting to see it as laziness. His long ears twitched, picking up the sounds of battles here and there - look, even those weird Pichu runts were doing something - and the release of ions with the Raichu's appearance was making him antsy. And Hayes was just standing there. Frankly, this was embarrassing. "Chuu, pika." The green-eyed Pikachu gave his trainer a light electric shock that sparked off his glasses and grounded on his nose. "Ow, hey!" The dark blond rubbed his nose and looked down at what could charitably be called his partner in crime. "What?" "P'chuu." Switch gestured emphatically with his stubby paws, crooked tail lashing. Hayes pushed his glasses back into place and eyed the scene. A sudden influx of trainers, all working to steal Pokemon, would definitely look like a Team Rocket attack, even in plainclothes. The trick was to time things so that he didn't seem a part of things, but completed his mission before the Jennies arrived on the scene. Now seemed like a good time. "All right, c'mon." He gestured to Switch, who rolled his eyes and scampered up his pant leg and over his back to settle on his shoulder as the youth set off for a likely-looking target. Finally.

Or perhaps looking for a battle?" It was obvious he was a trainer with that Pikachu following him, and the lady had a pokeball of her own that she tossed up and down in her hand.

Pandora had almost drifted off to sleep, Clyde noticed. It was time to go deliver the pokemon however and they needed to keep up. "Come on, Pan." The Charmeleon could even open her eyes, but twitched in an attempt to stand. Clyde sighed and scooped up the Charmeleon. "Some helped you're going to be..." He muttered as he hoisted her over his shoulder. She had gotten a lot big, he noticed for the first time since she evolved. The Rocket Grunt ran to catch up to Cyclone, Pandora slung over his shoulder. "Race ya' to Seth, Bonnie!" He called out playfully. Their mission was almost over, now all they had to do was check in with the Elite.

Rocket Agent TRP The man gulped, because it wasn't often that girls paid any attention to him. Especially pretty ones. "Yeah, its no problem. Um... I'm Matt. Nice to meet you." And sure enough, on his belt was a Pokeball. "Matt? What a nice name..." she stretched her arms around before putting her boot back on, and scooted slightly closer still. Now, she was nearly brushing his side, and she was thinking in her mind just how she might get the pokeball. For some reason, she felt like it might be harder now than before, simply because he seemed like an observant person.
"So what are you doing Matt? Usually people don't just go around with laptops, unless of course there is something important to be working on..."

The girl watched, her facial expression stoic, as her Pidgeot flew off with the Absol in his clutches. So they had done it! All of their battling and their hard work for the day had finally paid off. Hands slipping into the pockets of her pants, Bonnie turned and followed along behind Clyde and off in the direction of Seth. It was hard to hide her satisfaction now - in fact, she couldn't do it.
The two of them had succeeded. They had managed to steal not one, but two pokemon. Seth would surely be pleased with the spoils of their labor, too, and that was the best part of this whole ordeal. So what if Bonnie got a pokemon? The fact that the Elite trainer would be satisfied with their captures was all that the girl cared about.

That worked too. "Hm?" He paused, half-turned and.. well, hello. An easy grin spread across the blond's features and he faced the woman fully with a relaxed stance, hands in his pockets, while Switch stared. Handsome? What? "Could be both. Loser treats the winner?"

Clyde didn't even look back at the two trainers trapped inside the ring of fire as he ran ahead, the now fainted Pandora flopping around on his shoulder. He was well ahead of the rest of the group, breathing a little heavily after running with a heavy pokemon on his shoulder. Clyde calmed himself and walked forward, trying to look strong and awake, which he failed at, since his hair was frazzled-looking and if Pandora's tail got any closer to his shirt, it would catch on fire. Regardless, he approached Seth, "We've- that is Bonnie and I, have captured two pokemon, a Misdreavus and a shiny Absol. Bonnie and the pokemon are bringing them now." He stated. The Grunt stood there for a moment before realizing that Pandora had probably fainted by now and could be returned to her pokeball. He casually flipped open her pokeball and returned her without a word.

"Um... well... j-just doing some equations..." he said, pointing at the screen of his laptop that was full of techno babble and incomprehensible mathematics. "But you're uh... probably not interested in that kinda thing." Gulp.

As she did so, she attempted to brush her fingers near his leg, and where the ball was sitting. It was a test run to see how he would react before she actually attempted to steal the pokeball, if she could.
Than, she leaned back and let out a laugh at his comment.
"Well, I'm not too keen on numbers, but I'm always willing to learn new things, and I'm sure it has to be fun for a guy like you to be so interested in it!" She moved her head back with her laugh, keeping an eye on his movements and calculating her next ones.

Rocket Agent TRP The Eevee Scout pointed to a stand not far away where she was making her sales. "Well we have Peanut Butter Pichus, Sugar Eevees, Scrumptious Skittys, Caramel Clefairys, and Minty Meowths!" Among all her many badges though, a Pokeball could be seen on her green belt. Paydirt! "Really now?" She glanced toward the table with a smile, an idea occurring to her. She let out a low whistle as if impressed. "My, that is a nice selection. I may have to think seriously about this. It'll be a hard choice to make!"
Overhead, the bird Pokemon heard the low whistle carrying easily on the wind. It was a signal worked out between her and her human, and she banked quickly to turn back towards the pair and the stand. With a loud, shrill trill, she folded her wings and dove earthward, claws outstretched.
At the noise, Sierra glanced upward, feigning shock and surprise. "Lookout!" She dove for the little girl, seeming to be trying to shield her from harm...but taking the opportunity of chaos to try and stealthily snag the Pokeball from her belt and stow it within her own jacket. Hopefully, with all the noise and jostling, she wouldn't notice Sierra's light thief's touch.
Meanwhile, Celeste had landed near the table, helping herself to a couple cookies with a happy trill. "No! Bad bird! Those are not your cookies!" Sierra frowned, putting on her scolding act for Celeste, who dipped her head in appropriate shame. "I'm sorry...she loves Sugar Eevees. She can't seem to remember not to eat them if they're not hers, however," she added with a pointed glare back at the pouting Pokemon, her attention back on the girl now.
Had she managed her sneaky theft? If so, she needed to make a quick exit before the child noticed anything amiss...
