"My ink isn't made of vampire evil, you know," Scribbler gave a wry grimace. "I had this ability while I was still human."
Oh, she was probably going to regret the flippant remark, but Scribbler was entirely too panicked still to think straight.
"It seems to be holding for now, in any case."
Perhaps because it was not born of malevolent intent, like the creatures she summoned had been.
Once both Emma and Nyrk were settled, she planned to fly the ink-conjured object to the library...but it would have to be quick. The carpet rose, first slowly, then smoothly up to a healthy altitude, making its way to the Bainbridge Estate.

Renu stood hearing a familiar voice, it sounded like the girl who served him at the tavern, and taking a peek he confirmed that it in fact was her. He cautiously approached trying to remove the necklace only causing it to bite harder into his neck. It hissed at him and stung him with a numbing mental attack. He dropped to a knee and yelled out as he let of a spark of electricity.

The wolf girl nodded emphatically at Alnette.
"Yes, please. I promise I will try to help as much as I can, but I would be lying if I told you I was confident in my abilities." She shrugged and took a step closer to her. She smelled sweet and untamed like an undiscovered river. Suddenly the man she'd encountered earlier in the Vestal was crying out in pain. Vii's ears went flat against her head and her tail became still between her crooked hind legs for the first time since she encountered someone.

The three squads from Techno Legion had finished their mission and awaited pick up at the landing zone. After a short few minutes of waiting, three dropships returned to retrieve the teams. There were no casualties and the team had collected some data by scanning the crystals. The automaton teams boarded the craft and the ships took off, disappearing into the fog of the storm.

Alnette looked at Renu with a frown. "Do you need assistance, sir?"
After waiting for his answer, she returned her attention to Vii. "Any help will help, Vii. Hell, even if you just stand there, it would help. It helps to be around someone I know..." Though Alnette would be loath to admit it aloud, she hated being alone.

He sighed and punched the ruby with his bare fist

"I am a werewolf, that's true. No one knows I'm completely clueless just from looking at me." Her tail wagged apprehensively as her gaze oscillated between the two.
"Oh he was looking for you earlier, in the Vestal. Obviously he found you, and what of Remus?"

"Pain... Perhaps I could do something about that." Alnette paused and startling rifling through her bag, searching for something. "I possess no healing magic to speak of, so I have to rely on herbal remedies-- aha!" Alnette fished out a small vial of liquid and handed it to Renu. "It's poppy and some other stuff. It'll numb the pain for now, though it may mess with you head a little bit.
She looked at Vii and laughed. "Surely you're not completely clueless." She smiled and started to relax, but suddenly Vii's words caught her attention. The succubus's head would turn to face Vii so fast her bangs moved away from her gray eye, the pupil now a mere slit. "He was looking for me?"
Alnette abruptly turned her attention to Renu. "Why?"

Vii's eyes grew wide at Alnette's reaction. It was hardly what she was expecting. She looked to Renu, wondering if he was perhaps not what he seemed entirely, but deciding it was probably safest not to ask so blatantly.
"He never told me why, I don't believe I asked though. I believe I just assumed he was looking for employment in your kingdom or something like that." Vii confessed genuinely, though a flicker of nervousness steered her mind to wonder the nature of a Succubus' mind and they way they prioritized potential threats. Just then something inside of Vii turned over and a rush of adrenaline surged to her head.

Renu cursed under his breath and in all honesty wanted to shoot himself in the head right now.
"For the sake of my life, I had to find you, Remus, and Nazynri."
He sighed, remembering that the voice would strip his soul from him if he spoke to much.
"I just wanted to meet you three and see if you all were as strong as I've heard."
His magnum was still fully loaded, his Tesla coil was charged, and that stupid necklace was beginning to pulse. Still with all of this one thought coursed through Renu's mind
"I'm gonna die."

She flashed a reassuring smile to Vii. "It's a habit of mine to distrust someone looking for me that I do not know..."
Her full attention was turned to Renu now. "For the sake of your life? Could you elaborate further?" Her eyes glanced warily to his magnum, then to the necklace. A quick scan of the necklace revealed the power it possessed and caused her frown to deepen. She did not wish to fight, but if he were to attack her, the succubus would have no choice.

"Understandable." Vii said with some difficulty as her insides were screaming at her and she couldn't discern why or where it was coming from. If one thing was certain, there was something terribly wrong with the situation the electricty in the air was building all around them.

The Paladin waded through scouting out, and called."Look out!"
A dozen squadron of uniformed Soulless One's , charged out.
Some with pistols, others with no weapons, and alot with swords.
