Anna frowned, feeling like she was the one doing something wrong even though it was clear the girl just didn't want to be here. "Um.. No, you can't," she said, seeming a bit startled that the child would want to leave this early on. Didn't kids like hands on things like being right near the tanks? "You have to stay through the tour, I can't let kids go wandering around the facility without an employee," she explained, reciting nearly word for word what was in her contract. She would have liked to get out just as much as the girl, the tanks honestly gave her the creeps. "Well, I'll try and make it go by as quickly as possible, alright?" She offered Harper, turning her attention to the next tank over.

Walking over to it slowly, she was hesitant around the ones in these conditions, she glanced down at the corresponding name, "Oliver? Please come forward." She only waited for a few moments, having spotted the clock when she looked up, and then started off on the facts she'd memorized the night before. It felt a bit like a school presentation, but in a bittersweet sort of way, seeing as how she was supposed to be the teacher. "Oliver, your egg is a brass dragon. Don't touch the tank now," she said, keeping a good bit away from it herself, "The egg is kept in a steady burning furnace, and it can never drop below 140 degrees fahrenheit. Brass dragons are known to inhabit arid, sandy regions, and tend to be fairly talkative." Smiling, since she noticed the child was a bit more interested than the one before, she added nicely, "Do you have any questions?"

Olly smiled widely as they finally reached his, a huge smile on his face. "Wow! It's pretty!" he said, hardly noticing the fact that it was englufed in an intense heat. He listened in on the facts, nodding studiously. These dragons lived in the same regions his own species did, it seemed. He observed the egg carefully, feeling a little sad he wouldn't be able to touch or make any contact with it. But seeing it, he supposed, was good enough, and he admired the pretty coloring from where he was. It even had green on it! How wonderful.

Oliver looked thoughtful for a moment. "Yes! Will it have the same colors as the egg when it hatches? Will it eat meat like most dragons do? Do you know if it'll be a girl or boy yet?" he smiled sheepishly, full of questions.

Kami smiled, and stood quietly in the background, taking notes as well, just in case Oliver didn't catch any and needed the information later. This would prove to be quite interesting...she didn't really know what to expect, when the dragon arrived. It made her happy to see Oliver happy, and she chuckled softly as he blurted out his questions, patting his shoulder.

Anna's mind got a bit clouded as the child bombarded her with questions. Well, at least he had questions. Hopefully the rest would be excited too. Excited children wanted to learn things, and that was wonderful for a teacher like her. Taking care not to get too close to the tank, she pointed out the different colors on the shell, "Yes, it will be the same colors, for the most part. The color pattern on each dragon is different." Next question, two to go. "Well, usually yes, it will eat meat, but there are rare occasions when a dragon will choose not to. They have minds of their own, and along with them their own unique personalities, so it really all depends," she explained, thinking she might be going a bit lengthy on this one. It was worth it though, the look in his eyes was precious. "No, we can't tell yet what gender it is, but you'll be able to tell once it's hatched," she said, feeling just a bit bad that she had to make the boy wait on more information.

"Let's move along," she chimed, feeling a bit better about the next egg on the list. Moving at a steady pace, she shuffled the group toward one of the largest tanks, one which happened to be making a fair amount of noise. "This is a wave tank," she said loudly, figuring someone would be thinking the question. "Delphinidae, this egg is yours. It's a bronze dragon," she started, getting into the swing of this whole thing, "It's in this special tank because it needs to be submerged in a place where the tides flow over it at least two times a day. Since they can't create a whole ocean, the labtechs created this wave tank which simulates those tides. Bronze dragons are good swimmers, and they're known to be good natured."

Del looked thoughtful as she listened to Anna speak " But will it be ok even though it's not the real tides?" She was slightly concerned about her dragons health even though the lab techs knew more about dragons than she did. She was glad that her dragon would be able to swim with her and that it would be friendly, she didn't really want to have an unfriendly partners. The dolphin girl wondered if her dragon would be able to echolocate as well but decided not to ask, she'd rather be surprised.

Malen eyed the wave machine with amusement, he wondered just how much generating artificial enviroments for the eggs was costing this place. He noticed the worry in Del's tone and reahced out muss her hair ," Relax kid , I'm sure they know what they're doing." They seemed to know a lot about a lot of things and considering the lengths they went to to get guardians for these children he doubted they took any less effort in ensuring the dragons would be well cared for.

Showing a bit of her usual patient understanding now that she was calming down and getting the hang of this egg thing, Anna nodded, "It'll be just fine. The techs know what they're doing, so there's nothing to worry about. It's good to be concerned though, I'm sure you'll take great care of it when it hatches." She was glad that it seemed more than just the one boy were excited about their eggs, even moreso that the first girl's sour mood hadn't rubbed off on any of the others.

The next tank over was another extreme, and the sides were fairly thick, so she would have to make sure the egg's owner came around the front to get a good look through the viewing window. It wasn't a far walk, but she did it with far strides, tapping her finger purposefully on the clipboard that had proved to be a good friend. "Arith... Haneko?" She ventured, seeing the last name listed for the gaurdian but not for him. "Come over here, you may need to stand on your tip toes," she advised, gesturing to the front of the tank. Through the window, though it was a bit hard to see through it, could be seen a white egg encased in a thick coating of ice. The tank, even though it was insulated well, was freezing to the touch. "This egg is a white dragon, it needs to stay in the ice, and the tank has to be kept below zero degrees fahrenheit," she said, not having to look down at her board for the explanation of this one. "You know the drill, any questions about it, fire them at me," she joked, drawing a little target with her pen in the air in front of her.

Arith looked away from watching the waves in the tank as his name was galled, grinning ad bouncing over to the next egg.He made his way to the front of the tank and stood tip-toed to see the egg, glancing back at Aana as he asked his questions."Ooo, why does it have to stay in ice? What does a white dragon look like?"As he could think of nothing else to ask he looked back at the egg, ears perked forward and mouth hanging open slightly as he stared awestruck at the egg.

She held back a bit of a laugh, amused by the child's enthusiasm. "Well, it needs to stay in ice just like Oliver's egg needs to stay in fire, so it will be alright when it hatches. It's like when a mother hen sits on her eggs, she helps them survive and hatch. That's what the ice does to your egg," she explained, hastily sketching out a mother hen sitting on her nest then a second panel where the hen was with her baby chicks. Turning the clipboard over to show him, it took her a minute to realize she'd just scribbled on her notes, she moved on to the next question, "White dragons are a mixed breed between silver and frost dragons, so they show qualities of both. They're mostly white, hence their name, and they tend to be more animalistic than frost dragons, but more icy than silvers. There's one child with a hatched white dragon at the moment, I believe his name is Keanu."

Nodding that she'd given him the answers she had, she started to walk across the room, back toward where Harper's egg had been kept. "I almost forgot this one was over here, it should have been at the top of my list, but the bottom does just as well," she mumbled, gradually stopping in front of a similar shrine-like tank that housed an egg of dark and light purple swirls. "Lian, please come up here, this egg is yours," she said, pointing calmly to the tank. It looked peaceful compared to the past few, settled nicely between the extremes. The tablets at the sides seemed to have different writing than they did in the tank of Harper's egg, and one even seemed to have a carving of the dragon itself in it. "This egg belongs to a Six-legged Airserpent. They're known to be quick and intelligent, and as the name implies, have six legs instead of four. It flies just as well as any other asian lung."

Lian had quietly looked at the others dragon eggs as they went around. It was intesting how different the eggs were and how they went from one extreme to the next. Then it was his turn. Lian shuffled up to the front, careful not to bump into anyone. While listening to the informantion the d-tech gave he wondered how a wingless dragon could fly. Oh well it just did, no need to know how. There were more important questions.

"Do I have to have a shrine like that one when it hatches and stays at home with me?" He glanced into the tank again to look at its 'nest'. "I suppose it also prefers meat like the other dragons as well?" He looked up at her waiting patiently though his tail twitched with excite ment behind him.

Anna shook her head, "Normally the dragons are happy to make their own nest out of whatever they can find. You could build it a shrine if you want, but it's not necessary." She smiled, silently glad that this was almost over, and that a question was being repeated. Well, essentially it was. She had already told one child about his dragon's eating habits, and her answer for this one wasn't really any different. "Most likely it will, yes. It's all a matter of personal choice."

Glancing down at her list she realized that those were all of the eggs she had to show today. "Oh!" She eeped, blushing a bit as she smiled and tucked the clipboard until her arm, "I guess we're done for today. Please follow me to the exit." Gesturing back to the lobby they had come in at, she scurried quickly. Even with all of the fretting and the few children who had been late they had finished almost on time. It looked like she wouldn't be fired after all. Stopping at the door, she waved them all out, "Thank you for coming today, any extra questions you may have can be directed to the D-Corp main office, they'll tell you anything you need to now. Goodbye now!"

Another D-tech was standing inside the familiar room, but.. for an unfamiliar purpous. Hoo-boy.. how'd she get herself into this? With blade out of commision and everythgin so hectic at D-corp she had been forced into the role of babysitter. Why couldn't Kat do it...? Yeesh.

She rocked back and forth on her heels, her hair was pulled back into a pony tail. And she looked fairly young and pretty; except for one minor detail. The black bags under her eyes that showed she hadn't slept in all too long. The eyes above that black remained locked on the door, ears picking up the echo of her watch ticking away in the silence... They better show up soon, she had much more important things to be doing. 365 wasn't one to waste time with anything.

Orpheus arrived promptly this time, it was the second time he'd brought a kid through the place so at least he knew what was going on this time and what to expect. Ter trailed along behind, looking everything over as they headed down an unfamiliar path, "You will enjoy where we are going. You get to see you egg." He told him.

Ter flared a little, a smile spreading over his lips, his egg huh? His dragon. He knew that his dragon would be much, much better in all ways then Ligeia's dragon! Why? Because Terpsichore said so!

Orpheus opened the door so that his son could go in first, Ter coiled up in front of the D-tech. The snake child gave her a once over then looked away giving a low hissing sound. He had a low opinion it seemed of the techs, no doubt from when he was smaller and wasn't about to change it overnight. If ever.

"Hello, this is Terpsichore or just Ter for short. Hes hear to join in the Egg Meet." Orpheus said, deciding to introduce the boy first since it didn't seem as if he were going too. Since well... he still didn't seem like he was gonna talk about anything.

Oh how Niki was relieved that she could find someone to watch Reign for a couple of hours. When she'd heard that Ala was to see her egg, the woman's first thought was how a chimp toddler should probably not be allowed in that room.

Especially not her little chimp child. Reign was rather.... well, jealous since she'd heard about Ala getting a dragon. Hopefully Reign wouldn't be getting one of those... one dragon would be plenty...

The koala girl skipped into the room ahead of her mother, as Niki opened the door after triple-checking the room number. Okay, so they were in the right spot. That was good. Very good. And apparently a bit early, for there was only one other kid here and it was...

"TER!!" Ala clapped her hands happily as she spotted the coiled boy and started to dash towards him, hindered by her mother grabbing her arm quickly.

"Let's not run in here, Ala.." Niki told her, quietly, letting go of the girl's arm as she stopped leaning away. As Alaqua meekly waved at her friend, Nikiana looked at the D-tech. "That's Alaqua, though I'm sure you somehow know that already..."

Emer stoped in front of the assighned door, looking at the peace of paper she had found under her door. She smiled at Kale who seemed less affected by their run from the aprtment that D-Corp provieded to here. They had just gotton back from a job she had to do on sight. She was relived to find her timing had been as good as ever.

She looked behinde her, Kale in his favorite shirt and shorts just gave her his half smile. She wondered if it was his gentics, or that she was getting older. Her lips twitched in a smirk as she shook her head and opned the door for him to go threw first, she nodded towareds the woman with the koala. Her eyes widing when the saw the red head.

"Orphues!" Kale cheered when he saw Liegia's daddy, he paused when he saw the new boy with him. Emer lifted an eyebrow curiouesly. "You had another one since I've been gone?"

Ter perked up a little bit, wait... he knew that voice. He spun around quickly, which wasn't to hard for someone that was all tail to face the girl. The tip of his tail gave a flick back and forth and he lifted a hand to wave at her, "HISSU!" He said, smiling a fanged smile at Alaqua.

Orpheus gave a little sighing sound, a little worried over his son's lack of speech... his thought stayed on it only as long as it took a voice familiar to him to say his name, "Hrm? Ah! Emer!" He said then nodded his head, "Yep, adopted the little guy not to long back." He said, "His name is Terpsichore. Say Hello Ter."

Ter flat out ignored Emer as his attention was on Ala.

"Ermm... you must forgive him. He's got little in the way of manners." Orpheus muttered.
