 ~*~*~*~*~*~α∂єℓℓιηє єяιѕ~*~*~*~*~*~ She sighed, "It's Eris..."
Grabbing the mints in her hand she shoved them into a pocket and then looked over to Syd. She must have spoken to quietly. That was ok though, she was not exactly prepared to tell everyone that she was Adelline who, just ten years ago, was wanted for treason and other crimes that she had never committed. тнιѕ ѕσƒтєηє∂ нєαят ιѕ ℓιттєяє∂ ωιтн тнσяηѕ, ωнι¢н уσυ єιтнєя ρυѕн

Indrid looked at Alastor. "This is useless. This whole war. Ugh." he sighed. Putting his head between his hands, which were now cool. "We need to be a team, how the hell are we going to do that? We need leaders."

Calm down? Yeah. Right... Like that was going to happen any time soon...
Syd thought to herself as Alastar left the room to try to find Indrid, leaving her alone with Eris. She was jolted out of her frustrated thoughts by the other girl's very soft introduction. Sydney blinked and looked over at the new Cambion. If Sydney wasn't so caught up in being frustrated, she would have felt something was a little bit off about Eris.
"Hunh? Oh. Whatever. The name's Sydney." she said in a calm voice as she started to leave the room. Well, her voice was as calm as she could manage given how frustrated she was over this entire situation.

"You're right, we do need to be a team..." Looking out over the world the fortress hovered over, he took a deep breath. "But leadership...that's something different. I thought Sin would be optimal, being so strategic, but, he seems to have his own problems, and you, no offense, you have the courage, but, just like now, the pressure turns on and you crumple over..." Looking down at his hand, he stared at them complacently "As for me, don't bother. I may speak only reason, but I'm by far the weakest out of all of us..."

~*~*~*~*~*~α∂єℓℓιηє єяιѕ~*~*~*~*~*~ She sighed,She remembered the way to the mess hall and took that direction as slowly as possible. She was calm, well at least now she was after the situation with the halfling. She needed time to think though. She had the knowledge and prowess to infiltrate the angel kingdom and truly grab their attention. After all she grew up there. She knew about entrances and exits that were no where on the map. Still, doing so would rise suspicion, blow her cover, and possibly dash her attempts at finding her parents once more, if they were still alive.
I just don't know... she thought rounding a corner and making her way down the corridor that was a little ways from the mess hall. тнιѕ ѕσƒтєηє∂ нєαят ιѕ ℓιттєяє∂ ωιтн тнσяηѕ, ωнι¢н уσυ єιтнєя ρυѕн

Indrid nodded. "The whole wars got me too stressed in general." he said, throwing a small ball of ice he conjured to the ground below. "And the Halfbreed..I don't know. She's already hated by many, except us, and if they killed her, we'd loose a very powerful ally AND a leader." He shook his head.

Man, she hated this! This was so... frustrating! For lack of a better word that Syd could use here, anyway. She made her way through the hallways, not really having a particular destination in mind really. She wanted so much to do something, anything, to get this war to stop. It was just that she didn't know what in the hell to do. Everything just seemed so... hopeless.
As much as she hated to admit it, Indrid was right about the Angels. They would never listen to a warning from them. And even if they did, they wouldn't realize it was true until it was too late. In her frustration, Syd clenched her fist and punched the wall at her left. "Dammit!" she cursed out loud. The punch wasn't enough to leave any noticeable damage on the wall itself. But it did leave a few cuts on Syd's hand. Yeah, it hurt, but Syd ignored the pain.

"I don't know if she is even capable of leading..." Sighing heavily, he shakes his head, trying to keep the fatigue from overtaking him as a memory came to him, another word of wisdom from his late father as he clutched the dogtags around his neck. "'So long as will remains in the mind, no problem cannot be solved. So long as hope resides in the heart, no obstical cannot be overcome.'"

Suddenly tired of sitting around and doing noting, J'valia sat up and got out of the bed. She waved off the Doctors, adjusted her clothing, and headed out into the hall, and looking for Indrid and the group.
((Going to bed, ttyl ^.^))

Indrid nodded at the words. Truer words have never been spoken, at least, not that he can remember. "Maybe just a council then." he stands, looking at the blackness below his feet. "That way, we won't be stuck to one leader. We can decide together."

"Maybe, but for now, we all need rest...I have yet to recover from the shadow jump I did back in the Netherworld, and a good nights sleep will do you good, Indrid..." Standing up, he nearly teetered on the edge before regaining his balance. The mint helped, to an extent, but he was almost out of steam. He needed rest, and badly. Setting his hand upon Indrid's shoulder, he smiled before walking away, saying something he noticed as he left. "You know, I have not talked this much in just his one day than half my life....Odd how a days single events could change someone, even for a moment..."

(If you are getting off, don't something epic is about to happen.)
Indrid nodded at him. He was glad Alastor was beginning to get more social. He was a nice guy. He had his problems, but everyone does. Everyone does now at least. He sighed, he hated himself. He hated how every thought ended with something ominous, and how every other breath he took was a sigh. But that was war. And War had changed Indrid.

((Not quite, but now that you said that, I guess I wont have my WoW hour))
As he passed through the hallway, his steps became heavier. He shouldn't be this tired, he had some rest, but...no, he knew better. His body was not attuned to shadow jumping, only to blend, and as much meditation as he has done, it was a miracle he was still walking. Coming to the Mess Hall, he took the first chance to rest, taking to a dark corner and slumped to the floor, his body melding to the shadows as he closed his eyes.

~*~*~*~*~*~α∂єℓℓιηє єяιѕ~*~*~*~*~*~ Finally she had made it to the mess hall where she had been told to go. Again, she was not hungry so she grabbed a seat and pulled one of the mints from her pocket. She placed it neatly on the table and touched it with a finger tip. It turned bright blew and disappeared in a puff of smoke. "I don't think I will ever perfect that technique."
she said somberly scratching symbols into the table with her nails. тнιѕ ѕσƒтєηє∂ нєαят ιѕ ℓιттєяє∂ ωιтн тнσяηѕ, ωнι¢н уσυ єιтнєя ρυѕн
