Kalas huffed when Alexander said he should be lucky. Lucky? I'm anythign but lucky...
When it was his turn to speak, he stared at Lief. "I...just felt like a change of scenery. Plus, I figured an idiot like you might have leveled the temple."
Lief smirked. "Thanks for your concern, Kalas. Also, it appears that you didn't tell you friend about this place." He chuckled and sipped a small cup of sake.
Kalas rolled his eyes. "Alexander, this is my temple. I'm just letting this punk stay here to watch over it. Being an exiled dragon, his temple was destroyed."

Lief smiled and waved Alexander's words aside. "No, no, there's nothing to be sorry for. It was only a matter of time with my ways..."
Kalas grit his teeth. "Be nice to him? Heh, he's useless. He can't cook, he can't fight... Hell, all he knows how to do is procreate, drink, and cause more trouble for me. Sure, he created me, but the Dragon Council holds zero respect because my mother is a human! And as a result, I'm not even allowed to stay in my own temple and must wander the planet for a hundred years ecah time I want to come back and rest! What's so thankful about that!?" He was pissed. And he knew he should be thankful for his existence, but he truly held no respect for his father. Rather, he hated the man from the deepest parts of his soul. Yet, not enough to kill him and make him the last remaining dragon in the world.
Lief sighed and put the sake bottle down. "Oh great, now he's upset again. Just so you know, Kalas never liked me to begin with. And I don't expect to anytime soon. Just let him be. If it's destine for him to accept me, he will when he does." He said simply, fanning himself with a small traditional fan.

Lief gave a small laugh. "Well, like I said, you're welcome to stay here."
Kalas huffed, claming down a bit. "No, they aren't. Shortly after exiling my father and deciding my punishment for existing, they ended up giving their lives to the continents of this planets hoping to preserve its life. Hypocritic old farts. They use their magic on the planet and damn everyone who aren't your typical full-blooded dragon. So, technically, my father and I are dragons in name only." He looked up at Alexander. "Does that answer your question?

"Gr~~~~!" Kalas looked like he was going to choke Alexander. But then he took a deep breath. "I have been shot, irritated, and tired. I am going to bed! If either of you dare to wake me, I will strike you were you stand!" He went down the hall to his room and slammed door, which echoed throughout the rest of the temple.
Lief sighed at his son's behavior and then looked at at Alexander. "So...when did this happen? I thought you just met him yesterday?"

Lief listened to the story in silence. "Hmm...sounds like you two have had quite the adventure, but... Although he may look like it, Kalas doesn't hate you. In fact, the way he yells at you is proof. He doesn't swear at you like he does at me. Though, there's only one true way to confirm it..." Lief said, taking another sip of sake. "The question here is...do you want to find out?"

Lief held up the sake bottle. "Get him to drink this. To full-blooded dragons, the just et drunk and fall asleep. Half-dragons, or young bloods, it works as a simple truth serum." He stood up and handed Alexander the bottle. "I'm done drinking for the night. So, go ahead. Unless...you have something against lowering his inhibitons? It's not like he can get mad at you since he'll drink it of his own will..."

Lief smirked, scratching the back of his head. "It's the very last door down that hall you're in front of. You'll know it's his because there'll be a huge 'Get Lost' sign directed towards me." He gave an amused chucked. "Now, I may not have any power, but I can still help with minimal stuff. If you need me, my room is at the end of the direct opposite hallway. My door was the character for 'exiled' carved into it." He finished, and then headed down the hall to his room.
