 Kentaro felt the needle penetrate his skin and winced a little and then relaxed as the tranquilizer took its affect. As Kentaro began to fade into unconscious he mumbled his decision about his eye, even though it probably didn't matter all to much. "Leave it...out." Then Kentaro was out like a light.

Some time later Akari Mokuren and Itachi still in his ANBU get up where sitting out in front Kentaro's room waiting for Sakura and Meogi to come out of the room and tell them the news of his eye.

Akari eventually realized Mokuren wasn't going to say anything, so she walked to the hospital herself. Later, Mokuren had come, and they were currently waiting outside Kentaro's OR for some news. Akari was sitting on the floor, her back against the wall, while Mokuren and Itachi sat in the only two chairs across from her.Moegi came out of the OR, taking her gloves off. "We were able to successfully reattach his eye. It may not be able to fulfill it's full sharingan potential, but it will still be useful, and it's better than being out." She explained. "Please don't worry anymore. We're going to keep him here over night, so you may go home. He's asleep now, but your free to go in." Moegi finished, bowed a thanks, and walked back into the OR to wash her hands.

Kentaro blinked as he opened his eye. He then realized that his other eye was still closed, he had to scrunch his face a little to get the muscles going again, and then opened his other eye. "I knew no one was going to listen to me..." Kentaro mumbles as he tries to lay upright. He managed to sit up, but all the blood escaped his head, and he forced himself to lay back down. "Well...by the looks of things as far as I'm concerned, I'm staying here for the night, or until they say its ok for me to go." Kentaro sits back up, this time more slowly so the blood doesn't escape his head again. He reaches for a mirror near his bed. He takes it and hold it up to his face. He sees that the medics did a fabulous job of making the stitching as covered as they could. good...I don't want to look like Ebisu-sama. He focuses his charkra and activates his right eye's sharingan, but his left eye stayed the same blackish blueish color. He sighs and gives up, knowing that his left eye would be ruined for a while.

 Mokuren sat outside Kentaros room, silent, next to Akari. She hadn't said much the rest of that day while he was being operated on, though she knew she should say something to comfort her younger sister. She was still in shock at what had happened. She had a feeling that if Kentaro had not quickly cut the whole of his eye out when he sliced it like that by accident he might have became totally blind on that side... She shook her head to get the thought out of her head. He would be ok Moegi said, so Akari and she had worked fast enough. The way their mother yelled at her still sounded fresh in her head though. "What is the status of Kentaro how are his vitals, WHERE THE HELL IS HIS EYE MOKUREN ANSWER ME NOW!!!" She held back tears thinking of how she couldn't even answer her because she was so scared. It was one thing subduing ninja from other villages who were trying to hurt or kill her, but this was her brother all that blood was coming from. She looked over at the door, hoping he was really alright.

"He will be fine Mokuren-san he is a strong shinobi remember that. Now if you excuses me Mokuren-san Akari-san I have to make a report for Sakura-sama about this incident with Kentaro-san." Itachi walked off with out any hint or concern for his older brother, leaving both his youngest and oldest sisters where they where. While he headed to one of the many empty offices to write his report.

Akari watched Itachi walk off and waved to him while she stood up. She walked over next to Mokuren to sit in the chair Itachi had left empty, her hands on the seat as she sat on the edge.
"Hey, Mokuren, don't worry about it." She said, smiling. Akari was, and always had been, mostly stress-resistant. She wasn't the greatest at calming people, but she was incredibly organized and well-managed when it came to high-stress situations like the one with her brother. Not to mention she had a lot of spare time, being the youngest sibling and the only on in the house anymore, so she often went to the hospital to help Sakura-sama with some of the easy cases.

(( i am in a teacher aid class from 12:55- 1:45. After that i go to Mr. Minc's room from 1:50- 2:35. Then i go to science for the rest of the day.)) Kentaro looks around for Meogi. He spots the hair through all of the flow of doctors. "Neh, Meogi-chan...do you think i could go...say goodbye to my sisters?" Kentaro asks, not wanting to sound suicidal, but also wanting to sound like he cared. He is fully aware that this situation is all against him, but he tries to keep optimistic about it. He just wanted to be sure they were all ok before the hospital stopped the visiting hours. Oh man...how is everyone going to explain this to dad? He's going to kill someone... Kentaro winces at the thought, but makes sure that Meogi wouldn't notice.

Moegi came in and brought them into the room. "Hey, Nii-san. How are you?" She asked, kneeling down next to him, her arms propped against the bed. "Good? Glad to hear." She hadn't given him time to answer.
"You're gonna be fine. Your always such a downer," She said, closing her eyes and laying her head against her arms. "You'll be out by tomorrow. Don't worry about it. And I as far as Dad goes...sure, he may not be happy-" '-at all-' "-but I'll come up with something. Kaasan will just tell him." Akari continued, smiling.

"Thats easy for you to say, you weren't the one who was playing with sharp objects..." Kentaro scrunches his face as he thinks about how she DOES play with sharp objects, A LOT. "Man...now i just feel stupid...im the oldest of us all...yet im being babied as if i was 5 again..." He sighs, but then turns on his side to face the group easier. "Ah well, i guess i WILL be out by tomorrow...so i think i can survive..." Kentaro didn't want to worry anyone with the side affects until necessary though, because he knew he would get even more grief. I might also regret that...because i don't know when next time will be...man... Kentaro debates with himself over the issue in his head, while trying to pay attention to his family.

Itachi was in one of the offices finishing up his report for his kaasan. His mask was off as he scratched his eyes as deactivated his sharingan so his green eyes where visable.when all of sudden the as his oldest sister came walking in too see he was doing with the report.

Mokuren walked into to room Itachi was in after Akari went to check on Kentaro. "Hey..." she mumbled as she closed the door behind her and leaned against it, looking down. "What are you putting down for the report?"

Akari had already waved Mokuren off when she went to go check on Itachi. "Hey," She elbowed Kentaro lightly, "Now you know how I feel." She smiled, then quickly corrected herself. "About the center-of-attention thing! Not the sharp objects thing!" She said, waving her arms in front of her, remembering, however, the many times Kaasan had had to bandage up her arm. 'Nothing this severe, though...'

"Simply that Kentaro kunai slipped out of his hand while he was twirling it which inadvertently sliced near his eye. Causing him to almost lose his eye and perhaps his Sharingan." Explained Itachi as turned around in the swivel chair, as he looked at Mokuren. "Are you all right Nee-chan you look awful come over here I made my self some greet tea you can have some if you lik(cough cough) Itachi began to cough valiantly and a small amount of blood came out of his mouth and landed on his hand. He tried to cover wipe it off before Mokuren saw but as he tossed the tissue out she saw the blood stained tissue.

Kentaro nods and then smiles. "I never got to have the whole 'center of attention' thing when i was younger since me and Mokuren were about the same age, so mom and dad had to look after us, never giving one more attention than the other." Kentaro's eyes go misty when he thinks about those memories, but then shakes his head and returns to the present. "I think I'll be able to survive the night, so if you want, you can go ahead and go join Itachi and Mokuren.
