"To suffer from bittersweet lies or words of truth? If given the choice..."

"An hour ago huh..." Shrugging her shoulders after a few seconds of consideration, Fuuyu didn't see any harm with food in the stomach from an hour ago. Afterall, if he did throw up, she's gonna make him clean it up anyways. Cleaning up after her temporary students were not part of her resume. Returning her attention to the door, Fuuyu pressed down on the handle and pushed open the door. Immediatly upon opening the door, a blast of cold air could be felt escaping the room. Quickly ushering Sypher in, Fuuyu followed promptly after making sure to seal the door shut so the cold air doesn't continue to seep out of the room.

The room they were currently in was fairly smaller than the one they were in previously and was obviously much colder. The difference in temperatures can be felt the moment one walks through that door. Acting undisturbed by the temperture change, Fuuyu casually walked up to one of the many cabinets filling the room and opened a random one. Inside the cabnit laid a perfectly perserved but still dead body. The strong stench of the chemicals used to perserve the body began to fill the room and Fuuyu was eagered to get this training over with.

Taking the clipboard that was included with the body, Fuuyu took it out of its sealed bag and settled into a comfortable marking position. Indicating to the body with her head, Fuuyu ushed Sypher over before beginning her set of instructions. "Alright, so the next technique is called Shindan. This technique is used to examine the body for any injuries usually unseen by the naked eye. For this technique you use the ...(goes on to list the seals required for jutsu)...so you got all that? The main purpose of this drill is to examine cause of death. So try to activate the jutsu and figure out what's wrong with him." Leaning towards her right, Fuuyu relaxed her posture as she waited for Sypher to begin the drill.

Shindan (Diagnosis)
Description: The first step in treatment is understanding the problem. With this skill a shinobi uses their hands to carefully probe a patient for problems. This technique is preformed by kneeling over a patient and slowly running both hands over their body, looking for signs of injury that may not be visible to the naked eye. It can detect things such as internal injury, improper heart rate, non-apparent bone fractures, poisoning, and disease. A ninja of higher rank has learned to use this technique to perform a rudimentary examination of a body to determine cause and time of death. A Genin using this skill takes several minutes of work to determine the nature of a problem, a Chuunin takes less than a minute and a Jounin requires only a few seconds.

Sypher didn't feel too claustrophobic, he had room to turn around and move side to side, and Fuuya showed they had room to pull dead b- DEAD BODIES?! He nearly went pale, all thoughts aside he wasen't frozen from the cold. Or the smell. Either way it was creepy, poor whoever person that was to get tested on by Sypher. Sighing, he walked over to the body, his stomach still going good. He wasen't getting a demostration cause it wasen't needed. It was plain and simple! Making the seals as she spoke, he did make them slowely. When she ended her talk he began the diagnosis. Putting his hands over the appearntly ws a man's face but not touching it. Moving his hands slowely over the face he could tell nothing caused his death up in the head. Slowley moving down again, he went over the chest area, there was a white blanket over some of the dead body for purposes. There had been bleeding in the chest area, was he stabbed? Maybe a blood vein at the heart popped cause it was close to the heart yet to the lungs. Moving to the arms he did both spererate, one broken arm that was all on the upper body. Moving lower, he kind of felt uneasy checking another man's private parts but it was part of the job. Quickly going over that area he went to the legs. His hip was chipped along it's sides, more bleeding inside, the chipped hip must of cut a vein. He went past the knees, everything else was fine as his hands stopped glowing. "All I found was bleeding in hip area and chest area, chipped hip edge that might of cut a blood vein."

"To suffer from bittersweet lies or words of truth? If given the choice..."

Watching attentively from her spot opposite of Sypher with the dead carcass laying on the cabnet between them, Fuuyu made sure to pay extra close attention when he reached the area where the designated areas of injuries were located. Once Sypher was done, Fuuyu returned her attention to the clipboard pretending that she was waiting to check of his anzlysis despite already having memorized the symptoms. Keeping her face neutral until Sypher was finished speaking, Fuuyu finally allowed a small smile to grace her usual bored features. "Not bad Sypher-san, you got it all correct. This man did indeed die from some internal bleeding and the chipped hip area also played a part in causing the internal bleeding."

Glad to be done with this portion of the training, Fuuyu returned the clipboard into its sealed bag and placed it back to the side of the cabnet. Once sure everything was in place,Fuuyu placed it shut, releaved that the stench from the body preservation chemicals wasn't as strong as they used to be though they still lingered due to having kept the body out for such a long period of time. Not wanting to remain in such a chilly room, Fuuyu began the silent track back out to the regular room. "Alright Sypher-san, the next portion of training will require volunteer work. We'll recieve a call from the receptionist's desk when they need us. Mainly what we'll be doing would be helping the elderly. Since the elderly are usually the ones with the tense muscles, it's best for them to recieve treatment from medical nin who know the Shiatsu technique." Grasping the handle, Fuuyu pushed it down and swiftly opened the door, taking a deep breath of fresh air upon exiting the examination room. Fuuyu let the door close on its own, certain that Sypher would follow behind her and make sure the door sealed itself shut.

Plopping herself back on the operation table, Fuuyu reached into one of her many pouches and pulled out a medical scroll. Tossing it to Sypher, Fuuyu instructed him to read up on the Shiatsu technique. "This way, when we're called, I won't have to explain it in too much detail for you. Don't worry, I'll be sure to show you how its done first before allowing you to help out an elder, wouldn't want you hurting anyone now would I?"

{Sry I'm leaving you off here Mint but I have to head off to bed. We'll continue this tomorrow k? Oh, and don't forget to take chakra off for using the Shindan technqiue.}

"To suffer from bittersweet lies or words of truth? If given the choice..."

As she sat in the training room patiently waiting for a call from the receptionists, Fuuyu suddenly felt herself getting thristy again. Suddenly remembering her reason for leaving the room in the first place, Fuuyu turned her gaze towards Sypher who was obediantly reading the scroll she gave him and her calculative mind began coming up with various ideas that would all end up with her getting her drink. Voice still bored and uninterested, Fuuyu spoke fairly loudly and clearly so that Sypher can't complain about not hearing her. "Hey Sypher-san? Do me a favour would ya? I want you to head down to the hospital cafeteria and buy me a can of orange juice okay? If you want, you can buy something for yourself as well. My treat." Reaching into her pocket, Fuuyu pulled out a simple magenta coin purse and tossed it to Sypher.

Looking up from the scroll, he caught the little purse that Fuuya tossed at him. Rolling up the scroll, he nodded. Walking out and readjusting the little hand purse behind the scroll cause it was embarrassing to be caught with a purse and not be female! Looking around the hallways he just found out he had no idea where the cafeteria was? He asked a docter and he was pointed into the right direction.

Just as Sypher rounded the corner that would lead him to the hallway were the cafeteria was located, a semi-loud 'eep' could be heard along with the sound of falling books and papers.

If someone was to enter the area right now, they would see a young nurse on the ground surrounded by various books and papers and massaging her sore thigh. If asked, she would tell passerbys that's she's fine, and that her leg most likely gave way to over exercise seeing how she's been running around the hospital all day carrying papers and books to various doctors and branch offices.

{Training drill: Just rp spoting the nurse and after she tells you that she's pulled something, you'll remember what you read about the shinatsu justsu and yeah, just rp accordingly.}

Shiatsu (Massage)
Descriptio: For a variety of reasons, muscles, tendons, and ligaments can become overworked and painful. This may be because of some type of injury or it may simply be the result of too much work without enough rest. By applying the proper amount of pressure at the right points and using small amounts of chakra a medical nin is able to relieve pain and help the patients body recover more quickly. A strain or sprain can seriously hinder the effectiveness of a shinobi and as such this technique really can make a difference.

Stopping as he saw the lady fall and books and papers going all around her. Guess Fuuya's orange juice could wait. Walking over to the lady he bent down and helped her put her papers in a stack and books, seeing her rub her thigh it ment she must of did something to hurt it. "Your leg ok?" He asked, she nodded but that look in her eyes suggested otherwise. This would be a good way to learn that Shiatsu techinque! Moving over crab-like he smiled at her for a second and forgot to ask to try it. The minute his hand went to her thigh the lady slapped him back. Soft whimper was heard from him as he rubbed his cheek, his now red cheek. "Hey hey, I'm just gonna help you out! I'm suppose to learn this muscle relazing techinque and it might help you." The lady's jaw nearly hit the marble ground. She kept saying sorry but he said it was ok. Making the handsigns he read from the scroll before and his hands glowed his chakra color. Putting them on the female's thigh, he pressed with his fingers at points, nerve points that were muscle too but could tense up and sometimes rip. Putting a small amount of chakra into it he finsihed as the girl stood up and felt better. "Try and take a break, I'm sure those docters and other people don't need those papers fast." He stoo dup and handed her some books and she walked off with her stuff. Walking into the cafeteria he went to a machine and finally got Fuuya her orange juice and got himself a water bottle. His was empty as he walked back to the office and closed the door behind him.

"To suffer from bittersweet lies or words of truth? If given the choice..."

Having fallen accustomed to lying down on the pratice operating table whenever alone in the room, once Sypher had left, Fuuyu let her guard down for awhile as she laid down on the table and relaxed. Allowing her thoughts to distract her while she waited for Sypher's return, Fuuyu soon drifted off to a light nap.

Waking up a few minutes later, Fuuyu's eyes fluttered open but she remained lying peacefully on the table. Cranking her head slightly to the left, Fuuyu looked at the clock and frowned when she realized the time and how Sypher had still yet to return. Just as she was about to get up and go look for him, he returned with her drink and purse in hand. Sitting up, Fuuyu allowed her legs to dangle off the edge of the bed as she recieved the drink from Sypher. As she opened the can, Fuuyu voiced out her question in her usual bored tone. "So what took you so long? Surely it doesn't take over 7 minutes to get there and back for a simple drink."

After handing Fuuya her drink and her purse, Sypher took a drink of his water. Looking at her as he wasen't gone too long. "This lady fell down and I used that Shiatsu techinque to ease her thigh muscle." He said, licking his lips from their dry state to a wet state. "I forgot to ask her if I could though so she slapped me..but she let me try it and whoever she was is back running around with all that paperwork." He mumbled under his breath a bit embarrassed. He wondered if that call came in yet. Running a hand through his hair to get it from his eyes and mouth.

"To suffer from bittersweet lies or words of truth? If given the choice..."

Bringing the can to her lips, Fuuyu drank at a moderate pace while attentively listening in on Sypher's explanation for his tardiness. Almost spitting her drink out in laughter at his forgetfulness, Fuuyu quickly recomposed herself and continued to drink while giving Sypher a nod of her head to showed she understood.

Feeling her thirst qenched and not begging for water, Fuuyu set her can aside on the counter before walking over to a nearby drawer and taking out a bin full of random nothings randing from scrap pieces of paper, leaves, ribbons, etc. Dropping the bin on the table in front of Sypher, Fuuyu began to describe the next technique. "Alright, the next technique's call Gantai no Jutsu. This technique allows you to create a temporary bandage from almost any materials. Its useful when bandages are on short supply and you desperiately require the use of one. Supposedly, the bandage is suppose to last 5 minutes without a continuous supply of chakra from the user."

Going towards a tall closet, she opened the the two doors and reached inside, taking out with her the manikin of a body. Laying it out on the operation table, Fuuyu took the tube that extended from the back of the body and attactched to the faucet. Looking at the body, one can see several tiny holes from all over the body, what they're used for, Sypher's about to find out. "This is a dummy that once turned on will take the water from the faucet and leak it out at different points of the body. This stimulates a real life situation where blood begins to flow freely from the body. You're objective, make a bandage from any of the materials in the basket and try to stop the bleeding."

Heading back to the closet, Fuuyu took out a remote control where she punched in the settings for her demonstration. Heading back to the faucet, Fuuyu paused momentarily to plug in the dummy before turning on the water. Switching the dummy on using the remote control, a soft wrr...sound could be heard as the dummy's internal mechanics started up. After a few seconds, water began leaking from the left leg of the dummy at a steady rate. Reaching into the bin, Fuuyu took out two pieces of scrap paper and three fresh tree leaves. Placing them on top of the manikin's leg, Fuuyu swiftly performed a set of handseals which would activate her jutsu. "Gantai no jutsu." Hands glowing a pale apple green, Fuuyu first picked up the two scrap pieces of paper and placed them over where the general area where the 'bleeding' occurs. Molding her chakra into the paper, Fuuyu threaded them together using chakra before taking the leaves and placing them over the two pieces of paper. Adding her chakra into them as well, Fuuyu was able to bind them all together to help stop the bleeding. Wiping dry the surrounding area, one can now see that the area around the leg was dry and that no water was flowing out from the make shift bandage. "Though it looks good now, remember that about after 5 minutes that bandage will fall apart."

Taking the remote in hand again, Fuuyu turned the manikin off momentarily while she resetted the program. Once ready, she turned it on again and water began to flow out of the manikins right arm, near the elbow."Whenever you're ready."

Sypher watched her carefully perform the techinque. He ran a hand through his hair as this would be easy except the water that acted as blood, spewing out in a small opening. Stepping forward he watched as she resetted the system and the water came out of a hole in it. Looking down at the manakin he grabbed some ribbon that was in small pieces but big enough. He took a leaf too and put them by the manakin. Making the handsigns and focusing his chakra. Picking up the ribbon piece he put it on the right arm near the elbow hole. He put the leaf a little bit on it and infused chakra to connect them together.[1/1]

"To suffer from bittersweet lies or words of truth? If given the choice..."

Remaining rooted to her spot on the other side of the bed with the remote in hand, Fuuyu watched Sypher closely as he walked up to the basket and took out several ribbon pieces and a leaf to use as his temperary bandage. 'Interesting choice but still just as effective.' Continuing to silently observe her student, Fuuyu nodded her head slightly in approval of his performance. From her spot on the other side, her view was slightly blocked but she was still able to see that the water had stopped leaking. The tempoary bandage that she had placed on the manikin had also fallen off as well.

Turning off the practice manikin, Fuuyu began unplugging everything while she pondered over her next course of action. 'Hm...that's pretty much all I can really teach him without this getting too physical...I'm really not looking forward to injuring myself just so I can teach a student how to perform certain medical jutsus...so what now...' Just as Fuuyu finished locking the dummy back up in it's closet, a young nurse swiftly pushed opened the door and spoke in a rushed voice to Fuuyu. "Fuuyu-senpai, we need your help. Several groups of citizens were caught in a gas explosion in the far end of town and are now being sent here. A lot of the doctors are either on break or on vacation right now so we might not have enough people to help. If you can, please help take care of the slightly injured while the doctors deal with the ER patients."

Releasing a tired sight, Fuuyu reluntently nodded her head in consent before sending the nurse away to report to her superior. Though she was a dedicated medical nin, she really wasn't in the mood right now...she was supposed to be on temporary leave afterall! '*sigh* Forget it...it's not like I can escape this fate, I knew this is what would become of my life if I dedicated it to the hospital...argh...I miss the action...' Brushing her long pink hair back, Fuuyu released another sigh before indicating for Sypher to follow. "You're coming with me kid, no way am I going to get dragged into this alone. Besides, I think I just found the perfect opportunity to teach you the next few hiton techniques that require an actual victim to learn."

Walking towards the exit, Fuuyu suddenly stopped to pause by the door before turning her head to look at Sypher with a smirk. "What'cha know, I think I just might've landed you with your first mission as well. I believe assisting the hospital can be considered a mission as well. Bet your glad you choose this day to learn medical technqiues huh?" Leaving it at that, Fuuyu stepped out of the room and began leading the way down the hall, pass the receptionist desk and towards the emergancy room.

Crazy Fuuya, she had to be crazy. Dragging him along but it was for some more techinques but it could also put pressure to save a real life! He groaned to argue but followed anyway to the emergency room. Gas fire couldn't be too bad cause they might just have burns.

Leading the way silently to the hospital, Itsuki noticed the slight change in posture but could still tell that the girl's gaze was still directed at elsewhere. 'Oh well, at least she's trying.' Not bothering to comment any further in fear of coming off as too pushy to the young girl, Itsuki just allowed herself the pleasure of enjoying the cheery mood of her village. As they continued on their way towards the hospital, Itsuki waved at a few villagers and even stopped to sample a few of the foods that were offered to her. At every stop, Itsuki would make sure that Nai recieved the same offer but if she wanted to accept it or not was all up to Nai.

Making sure to start up some small talk with her fellow villagers, Itsuki asked about their daily lives, business and anything else of importance that would be of help to her analysis of Konohagakure's wellfare. Her goal right now was to make sure that her citizens were living happily and securely. If anything was out of order, Itsuki wanted to know. After several continous stops, Itsuki and Nai made their way out of the village square and towards the open area of the Konoha Hospital grounds.

As they neared the hospital, Itsuki suddenly stopped when the sinking feeling that something wasn't right came over her. 'Hm...I wonder if everything's alright?' Brushing it aside as tiredness from the meeting she was in earlier, Itsuki was unwillingly reminded of her previous concern over her squad's safety. 'And its not even zombies that I'm afraid they will get injured from, its him...' Quickly brushing thoughts of the departed squad to the back of her mind for later, Itsuki led Nai to the main enterence and not a moment sooner had she entered through the double doors that she spotted several nurses running around carrying bundies of supply both fresh and stained. Among the crowd, she spotted Fuuyu, one of her few trusted jounin leading one of the genin she met earlier at her meeting down the right hall towards what most likely would be the emergancy room.

Turning to Nai, Itsuki flashed the girl a small smile. "Seems you just might get in on the action earlier than expected Tschigumo-san." Walking at a leisurely pace towards one of the distraught nurses, Itsuki spoke in soft and rushed whispers as the current situation was explained to her in the course of a few seconds. Letting the nurse continue on her way, Itsuki turned to face Nai and not really liking the hight difference, bent down so that she could have a chance to look the young girl properly in the eyes. "Tsuchigumo-san? Listen, I want you to be honest with me here. Do you think you would be able to handle real life training? Right here, right now?" Her tone was soft and concerning but her eyes reflected unweavering seriousness. If possible, Itsuki would rather Nai get a feel of what a medic has to do outside of the hospital but considering the girl's young age, Itsuki wouldn't mind putting it off until she reached an appropriate age. Either way, Nai would sooner or later have to face a blood centered situation if she wishes to further her studies.

Enter from Konoha's Ninja Academy

Nai watched the village out of the corner of her eyes, trying to remember the various roads and paths to the hospital. She also quietly admired the friendly atmosphere of the village and its own unique beauty. It didn't look like her home, which was located in the desert and so had the endles horizons and everchanging landscape that Konoha didn't have, but the images of people bustling around, going about their daily lives caused her to feel homesick nonetheless. Of course, she did nothing to show it and continued to walk behind the hokage. She would rather not have attracted any attention to herself and sympathy was a form of attention.

Keeping in line with her no-attention policy, Naiten shied away slightly from the villages whenever they offered her the same things that the hokage sampled. Half the time, her reluctance would prompt whoever was offering the sample to back of as well. The other half of the time, her reluctance would prompt whoever was offering the sample to insist even more, at which point Nai would be forced to accept so that her refusal didn't cause people to look at her.

Finally, after what seemed like an eternity with everything that had happened on the walk, Nai and Itsuki reached the hospital. When the hokage stopped suddenly, the girl looked up cautiously for a short while, wondering what was wrong. Then, when the woman brushed aside whatever had stopped her in her tracks as quickly as it had come, the girl returned her attention to observing the hospital. She saw several workers moving nervously across a room in a hurry, as if they were attending to something urgent. What they were attending to, the girl didn't know until the hokage talked to her after talking to a jounin. Judging from what she was asked, there was some sort of operation or whatnot and an important one at that.

She mulled over the question a bit, torn between her curiosity and her shyness. While she wasn't the most curious person, she wanted to be as good a medic as she could be and she sensed a great opportunity for learning in what the hokage was offering her. Finally, the girl nodded quietly, her eyes back to staring at the floor after making such a reluctant decision. She didn't regret it, she was just afraid that it might thrust her into the spotlight.
