((I'm not sure if Kami-Khazy's even been on lately. He's been super-busy with stuff since he got back from boot camp and might not have had the chance. We'll just have to hope and come up with some pointless banter in the meantime, unless anyone else has a better idea?))

Guiseppi glared at Asmusei. "Pompous I can accept, but I assure you that I'm not a child any longer. The law may wish to view me as such, but it is a grossly inaccurate perception."

Uriyu looked over in the direction of the guiseppi with a smile, "Anyone ever tell you you use way too many big words? Actually you use too many words in general. Just Im no longer a child will do... And compared to me you are in fact a child..." he said with a grin.his grin suddenly faded, "uh... where is the bathroom?" he suddenly blurted out.

This caused Raven to pause briefly for a moment. Was she herself truly a child still? She has lived for seventeen years, but her childhood was not that of a natural birth. She had never even experienced infancy. Her mindset had been the same since she'd been three, so what did that truly make her. "Heh, at least you guys know what you are." The thought almost made her smirk, but she didn't give them the pleasure.

She didn't care about her background, since the ones who created her had left her with many abilities she was thankful for. Raven was almost unaware of the heated conversation around her, until she heard Uriyu's comment. "Maturity is a mentality, not necessarily a physical attribute. You can be thousands of years old, and still be not as mature as a teenager." This was probably the only wise thing she would say today, but she wanted to say it. The two daggers at her belt bickered slightly, making stupid jibes at each. She didn't answer his question, thinking it poor tack to talk about someone's age then ask them to assist you. He had it backwards entirely.

Shadowpaw slipped quietly into a light sleep. One doesn't run for months and not want a good nap afterwords. She slipped in and out of various dreams before coming face to face with the spirit who gave her the riddle to come here. She smiled and bowed to him. "Thank you, for guiding me here, Great One."

Guiseppi simply raised his eyebrow at Uriyu. "Miss Raven has said precisely what was on my mind. Asking such things in such an undignified manner--if we were to go by spoken words and not by age or appearance, I would say you were the child." He sighed.

"As for using too many words, or even too many, as you say, 'big words,' I do not apologize. It is the way I was brought up, so I suggest you deal with it." In truth, Guiseppi only used 'big words' when he wasn't exactly happy with the company he was sharing or when he needed to sound intellectually gifted. It wasn't hard, when one was aware of that, to guess which circumstance applied here. "However, I will grant you the directions--two doors down the left hallway."

He didn't specify that that was the girls' bathroom, not the boys'. After all, Uriyu had simply asked where 'the bathroom' was, and that was a bathroom. It just wasn't the one he expected Uriyu to be looking for.

Perivia sat behind her desk, placing the last report on top of a massively large pile of parchment and other assorted pieces of intelligence resting in her 'Done' box. Perivia had been keeping an ear to her door, and was well aware that a small gaggle of students and others were waiting to check in with her and get themselves situated in the school. However these last reports were critical and required her undivided attention. Now that they were done however, Perivia had all the time in the world to entertain Unwelcome Boulder's new arrivals. She had been listening in on the conversation going on behind her door, and had to frown at it slightly. It was quite the display of immaturity going on, from all parties in one way or another. But that was part of life, people had to follow their own paths and grow as life allowed them too. For the moment though, there was one person in particular that Perivia wanted to talk to.

Perivia looked at the door with her sightless eyes and saw a young woman slumbering on the floor in the corner. Perivia smiled at this girl, she was one of the few students that she had taken a personal interest in. Perivia decided to entertain the girl a bit and answer a few of her questions right then and there. Perivia looked directly at Shadowpaw and allowed her consciousness to invade her mind. She was dreaming at the moment, so Perivia decided to accommodate that. What Shadowpaw would see would be the form of the Spirit that had guided her to the school in the first place. But what she wouldn't know was that the spirit was actually Perivia herself. Perivia had been keeping tabs on this young lycan for several months now. She showed potential to be a great asset to the school, possibly even a squad leader someday. She was ruthless, but fair and friendly at the same time. Perivia liked that. So in Shadowpaw's dream she spoke as the spirit, playing along with the werewolf's beliefs. Her voice was soft and soothing like the wind on a moonlit night. "I must thank you Child, for choosing to come. Now please, enter my office and let us speak face to face." It would be then that the vision of the spirit would slowly morph into the shape of Perivia's face, bandages and all, with the smallest smile placed on her features.

In the land of the waking, however, the door to Perivia's office began to open slowly. Perivia spoke through the doors without raising her voice, but her voice seemed to amplify enough that all of the people assembled outside her door could hear her plain as day. "The werewolf first, please. The rest of you, please behave yourselves. I'll be with you shortly." Perivia sat behind her desk, hands folded together on the polished ash, and waited patiently for Shadowpaw to come in through the thick oak doors.

Uriyu smiled, "all in good fun." he said. "Whats the point of being so uptight? You make more friends if you just have fun." he said with a shrug before leaning against the wall calmly. He felt a powerful serge pass by and his eyebrows raised. "Well guess ill have to wait." he said calmly as the door began to open.

He noticed a slight snoring and reached over gently shaking shadow paw awake. "Hey your up miss." he said with a smile. He just hoped what he was shaking her by was her shoulder...

Shadowpaw's eyes snapped open at the same time that Uriyu's hand touched her shoulder. The grip was hard and steely around his wrist. She looked at him straight in the eye, "Don't touch me when I'm dreaming. You never know what Demons you'll awaken." And with that she got up popped her back and walked up to the door.

She remembered the dream and how the spirit had changed into the Headmistress. She had only known of one other who could Walk in others dreams. She fingered the small bone wolf on her necklace.

She walked in and took in the beautiful ash table that the bandaged woman sat. She bowed her head and in a humbled voice, "Headmistress, you wanted to see me?"

((I Hate that word. Lycan. Ever since the movie Underworld used it, EVERYONE has the wrong ideas about the Werewolf community. So please, if you want to piss Shadowpaw off go ahead and call a lycan. But otherwise please use the full word not just part of it.))

He bit his tongue in not a means of surrender, but because he had the wisdom to shut his mouth when no one sided with him. He turned on his heel and walked silently off, knowing that there must have been something more useful to do with his time. After all, years of cooking for mom and learning about acids and poisons, he was fast-tracking his own skills in alchemy and had been wondering what would grow around here.

Uriyu smiled holding his arms up in surrender, "Got it dont touch you while your sleeping... My bad." he said with an innocent smile before he heard her walk off. At least i got her shoulder... he thought with a sigh.

Perivia smiled at the werewolf standing before her and motioned her hand at the available ash chair sitting before the desk. "Please, have a seat. There's no need to be so formal right now."
PostPosted: Sat Jul 10, 2010 5:55 pm

She sat looking over the older woman, "But there is every right to be formal with one's elders."

She had to stop her hand from playing with the bone wolf that her teacher had given her. "You walked my dream, and there are only a few that can do that. So you have my respect and my honor as one of the Garou* demands that I walk carefully."

Shadowpaw smiled, "What would you have me do, Headmistress? You found me and lead me here. And I can tell by the group outside your door, that this place is a place for killers and magic users. What need do you have of me?"

((*Garou is the word her pack used to call themselves))

"I am not uptight..." Guiseppi protested under his breath, not caring if anyone heard it or not. As far as he was concerned, it was the complete truth. (Probably.) He pouted a bit, almost childishly, and that was enough for those who knew anything about him--of course, no one in this lovely bunch--to realize that he was having a mostly good day. He might even be warming up to someone or the like.

Uriyu smiled, "How often do you brush your hair? check your clothes? look in a mirror as you pass by?" he chuckled. "How much of this school REALLY lies at your finger tips?" he asked very matter of factly. Of coarse he didn't care whether any of this was true, fake, or what ever he was simply bored and trying to keep a conversation.

He pulled out one of his throwing knives and started playing with it; he was never good at throwing them, he just liked their slim profile and sturdy build. Flipping it end over end and catching it every which way without hurting himself, he walked along, glancing at the walls with a practiced eye. After wandering and finding himself leaving the building again, he walked around the perimeter, picking at the plants growing there. They where weak from the lack of real light, but some looked promising for random things, so he started stowing them into small vials, cleanly slicing some into smaller sizes to fit into tiny Tabasco bottles when he was sure the oils wouldn't bother them.
After some time, he went inside to find a Bunsen burner to try cooking a few things and get better lighting.
