Q let out a growl. "I told you I've never done anyone that wasn't legal! I'm not a ******** seemed Q's rebuttal was too loud, as at that, Tsurai began to shift, and eventually open his eyes. Q heard it and turned his gaze to the eighteen year old, his face turning to some contained horror. This was not a conversation he thought the kid needed to hear, and he hoped he hadn't.

He quickly turned back to Isiah. "I was going to get damn food for myself, but if you'd prefer," he hissed, "I can sit my a** here and take some from you."

Tsurai's brows quirked, watching the two men. Isiah was sitting, Q was standing, and seemed really angry about something. "What's wrong...?"

Q grunted, catching the can and sitting on the ground after taking the old, rusty can opener from his pocket.
Once he was sitting, he began to open the can with the opener, it squeaking every now and then as it jerked along the top of the can.

"About what?" Tsurai questioned, looking between the both of them, sitting himself up.

Q gave a cautionary glance toward Isiah, then turned his attention back to the can in his hands. It had been opened enough that Q could open the rest of it with his hand, and put the can opener down to do so. As he carefully pried the aluminum so he wouldn't cut himself, he began to speak.

"We were going to change up how you two travel. Seems you're going to walk at nights now with me."
He was finally able to pull the can's top off, and toss it to the side, looking at the peas inside.

"Isiah will still lead the way, of course. My vote was vetoed."

Q shook the can a bit, to move the slop inside, as if checking if it were still good. He then put the can to his lips and chugged it down. Peas were not something he liked eating, but was free food.

Tsurai cocked his head to the side, crawling closer to the two of them, his brows creased. "Vetoed?"

Q swallowed. "Denied," he said again, explaining.

"Why, where were you going to go?" The boy brought his legs up and sat crosslegged.

"Nowhere important, hence why we're all following Isiah." Q chugged the last of his peas and tossed the can to the side, it clinking somewhere in the distance as it bounced off the sandy ground.

"Then why are you coming with us?" Tsurai looked to Isiah for the answer.
Q opened his mouth to answer, then just let silence take over, looking away and putting his chin on his hand, elbow on his bent knee with a sigh.
