[Souzourou]
{Don't we live in a beautiful world? And now a beautiful universe?}

[Traverse Town :: Second district -> First district]

Souzourou looked back as Orpheus said they were following. "Well, um...Okay!" He said back with a smile once they caught up. THen they entered the first district, and saw chaos. Orielle immediately turned around. Nonetheless, Souzourou told her "Head back to the Hotel, I'm gonna see how I can help." He watched Ayla pull stuff from her back, and then once Orpheus had walked in, Souzourou followed, holding his breath, and running through the poison fog. He hopped up to the roof of the shop in the middle. From there, he hid behind one of the windows, and started breathing again, as he was above the fog. From there, he looked down into the courtyard of the first district, where some people were fighting. It seemed most of them were Ganging up on a girl wearing black clothing, weilding what looked like...either a two pronged spear that split early on, or an oddly shaped Tuning fork. 'what a strange weapon' he thought. in the thickest part of the poison for that was spreading over the world...he could make out the vague shape of a man. 'hmmm...judging by the fact that he's in the middle of it all, and still standing...and what appears to be where it's spreading from...they're prolly the source.'

Sou decided to test. While still barely peeking around the outcropping of the roof, he put his hand down on the roof. Then, below that person (Ölüm), the ground grew hotter, and a second later, flame erupted from between the cracks of the broke ground beneath him, with a decent intensity.

[Current Location: Traverse Town - Ayla - Second District / Orpheus - First District]

Life itself is just a curse before death.”

User ImageAs Orpheus would go into the first district with Souzourou, Ayla would remain behind. The girl may have been death's right hand girl, but in the end, she still had a mortal, though ageless body, and the poison would effect her. The girl closed the black bag of hers that was filled with her undead supplies, and looked at Orielle for a moment, her murky gray eyes meeting the other girl's, but she never spoke. It was as if Ayla never could speak even if she wanted to, but in truth, she just chose not too. Instead, Ayla begun to remove her bone crafted short bow, taking a few steps back from the door, in case any of the fighting in the First District had made it's way over here. Ayla looked like such a fragile little girl, as if just a scratch would cause her to buckle down and cry. But the stoic and unemotional look on her face as she readied her bow and parted a bit of distance from the door made it seem like she was experianced. She had heard the command to get back to the hotel, but she didn't leave her servant. Even if she was the master, they were still connected to one another, and she would not simply abandon him. In fact, she may even just use a few of her spells from afar if the reason was needed. But whether or not Orielle decided to stay here or not was another thing entirely

"Master does not like poisons, so I will get rid of the source for her~" Entering the first district with Souzourou, Orpheus was practically extatic at what he saw. The shattered glass, the shaking grounds, the thick layer of green smog, it was- "Lovely~!"

With a large, fanged grin, Orpheus briefly adjusted his hat, before casually walking into the poison, making his entrance. Everyone else would see this; a strange man in a long black coat and hat, his skin in patched and stitched different colors, and the place where his eyes should be covered from the shadow of his hat, wearing the cheshire's grin itself. His coat had incredably long sleeves, but suddenly, Orpheus hunched forth, and swayed his arms a little before raising his sleeves up. This would reveal that his hands, which were also sewn together from all sorts of patches of skin, ranging in strange colors, and deformed, grotesque muscles. The rest of Orpheus seemed.. remotely normally, but his arms were larger, and at the ends of his fingertips were large, destructive, black claws. It was all just another one of Ayla's additions to Orpheus that he enjoyed having.

Because he could not see, nor could he use his masters site, Orpheus had a different way to detect. He flicked out his tongue through his fanged white teeth, revealing he had a thin, long, serpants tongue, tasting the air to detect things. There were so many scents. So many people, the poison, spells, it was amazing! "Oh this is going to be a blast!!!" And with that, Orpheus followed the scent to the source of the poison, constantly flicking out his tongue to guide him, heading for the same target that Souzourou was attacking. Anyone who saw Orpheus would have assumed him as being an enemy. After all, being an undead with disgustingly large claws, and wearing a black cloak like he had, one could only assume. But as a matter of fact, he was going for Ölüm, navigating through the poison, ignoring everything else for now. User ImageIf he got rid of the poison, then Ayla could be here as well, so he was doing just as he was told.

No murderous intention filled the him, Orpheus just wanted to play a game and amuse himself. And so, as the flame spell erupted from Souzourou, Orpheus would show some skillful teamwork and try to strike Ölüm the moment he leapt away, hoping to blindside him as Orpheus leapt through the poisons with that fanged grin, gretting Ölüm not with malice, but an enthuisiastic greeting before giving a swift swing of his fingertipped, black claws towards his side. "Let's play~"

“But Death itself is a new life entirely.”

[ Enyb ]

{Kweh...[Oh my...]}

[Traverse Town: First District]

Enyb couldn't really acknowledge the man who thanked him, not with his own personally appointed job of getting this...'Mist' away from the people. Yes, that's what it reminded him of. The stories he had heard about the Mist and what it used to do on his world. But now wasn't the time to reminisce.

Actually, now wasn't much of the time for the chocobo to do much of anything, seeing as how the tremors knocked him right onto his tail feathers and the roar stunned him for a second (cursed animal hearing). But once he could move, yes, that was his time to shine. Well, at least help get rid of the human girl making all those terrible noises.

Once he shook off the tremors and sounds and roars, the chocobo stood and flexed his talons tightly, which caused the claws on his 'leg armor' to pop out with a shink. He got behind one of the nearby tables, which had been knocked over, lined up his aim, and...

"WARK![TAKE THIS!]" Enyb pulled one of his legs back, then let loose a powerful kick towards the table, sending it flying, speeding directly towards that horrible noise making girl-human.

{Ignorance is bliss... until reality throws a Heartless siege at you.}

[Traverse Town : First District]

Once again, Soryuju was almost knocked down to his feet, only just barely managing to stay upright (using his spear as support). The girl was powerful- she could cause earthquakes, she practically caused his eardrums to explode with that sudden bang (the Sonic Boom effect), and she then threw off their balance with some strange, deep vibrations. She was definitely too powerful for him to handle by himself.

Luckily, Hefin's steam filled the small area of the diner much like a spa, dispelling any of the poisonous mist that was right beside their group (Alexandra, Elde, Kuumaru, Suzuran, Hefin, Enyb, and himself), at the same time greatly heating up the place... again, like a spa.

Together, we should be enough to handle her... but is she also the one who created this poison?

Soryuju gave Hefin a brief nod before taking a deep breath and exhaling- sending a large stream of fire in the woman's direction. And that's exactly when the Chocobo launched a table at her- the table was immediately caught in the blaze, and turned into a fiery projectile along with the rest of the stream of fire.

{You look like you fell down a tree and hit every possible branch on the way down.}

[Traverse Town :: First District]

The earth trembled beneath her like a hungry beast and instinctively, Suzu drove her scythe into the ground to help her balance. Not that it helped much but it kept her on her feet. She had dealt with plenty of earth uprootings in geomancy, but what she wasn't used to was the shock that traveled through her body. Her limbs seemed to go numb and even when she could move again there was an odd feeling in her arms. There were too many things to worry about, though luckily the steam cleared up the poison though it did make Suzu feel like she needed to take a bath.

Along those lines, she was about to just douse the whole battlefield in a downpour of water when she felt the heat from Soryuju's fire rush past her. We... would probably not work well together. The thought flickered through Suzu's head briefly and she would have chuckled at it, if she could afford the time. And that's when the idea popped into her head. "Tsukai: Sinkhole!" With that, Suzu slammed the end of her sycthe into the ground, watching as the ground split, then suddenly as if in response, the earth crumbled upon itself under the cloaked woman revealing a hole that would immobilize her if she fell in and then there would be a clear shot for the fire to hit her.

[Traverse Town :: First District]

"That is, if you can even beat me." Aria responded to Hefin as the steam filled the area. No matter, the steam was just as obstructing as the poison was, but once again she didn't need to see to know what she was doing. She could hear everything, and years of honing her skill only made it easier. Aria moved out of the way before Sol could even finish off murmuring the Blizzard spell. Stupid how he fired the Thunder spell last as light traveled faster than sound so if he even wanted a chance to catch her off guard he would've used that first..

Then there was the sinkhole and the flaming table combo. Innovative. Aria smirked, yet her eyes remained emotionless as she moved out of the way and with her speed it merely seemed like she phased aside. The heat caressed her face uncomfortably but otherwise she was unharmed by the knight's efforts.

Eight fighters... no, ten fighters for two had come out to attack Ölüm. Ten fighters she sensed and not one of them could even land a hit. "Pathetic." Aria dug her heels in and gathered her lungs with air before she released it all. It came out as a scream or rather a wail like a Banshee. The sound ripped through the area, almost encompassing all of the first district though it of course would not affect her partner just like his poison stayed away from her. It was a crippling sound, conjuring images of death and sorrow in the pain it inflicted to the minds of those that were subjected to it.

[Wyatt: Traverse Town: Second District]

Wyatt woke up in the clock tower and started to look around the tower from where he was laying. Good the heartless did not return while I was sleeping. I guess I should be able to get up without having to fight any of them this time. Wyatt pulled himself up on his feet and yawned. Wyatt then picked up his weapon that was laying on the ground next to were he was laying. Wyatt then put the weapon back in its sheath.

After that Wyatt went to the door of the tower and opened it. He then walked out and looked around to see if there was any heartless. Instead he saw two people(Ayla and Orielle) at the first district gate.

One had a bow out and the other was walking away. Why is that one walking away and the other have a bow? The one with the bow isn't aiming at the other person walking away, so I guess the one walking away isn't in trouble. But why does the other one have a bow out? Is there heartless? I better go see.

Wyatt started to walk over to the two people.

|My allegiance lies with no one, but I am no bounty hunter.|

Alex cringed, hearing the banshee wail. Did she have no weakness? The girl's mind was then flooded with visions. Visions of the battles. Visions of dragons being slaughtered like cattle. Visions of entire towns being destroyed. Visions death and decay and sorrow. Her heart ached and she tried to block the images out.

One flashed through her vision and stayed there. Her mother and her dragon flying high in the sky. Sudden blackness as millions of Heartless surged toward her, yellow eyes bright. Terror as the black mass consumed her mother and her dragon. Sorrow as her mother's dragon let out one last roar before a everything disappeared to black.

"STOP IT!" she roared, her body shaking. Her left arm convulsed and her grip around her sword tightened. She growled as her sword began to glow a bright blood red color. Alex forced herself to keep a look of anger and hate on her face, and not let the tears behind her eyelids spill over.

With a cry, she charged forward for Aria, determine to plunge her sword into the girl's heart. A single traitorous tear rolled down her cheek and flew off her face as she dashed forward.
| I simply hunt Heartless, nothing more. If you need that, then I am your girl.|

[Ölüm]

(Unfortunately, there is not a fleck of remorse within me.)

[Traverse Town : First District]

The flare did not catch Ölüm by surprise and neither did the berserk-like attack by Orpheus. First off, the ground grew hot and he had already been anticipating an attack from a mage, so all he had to do was to simply quickly side-step the flame that was supposed to hit him. Also, the second Orpheus hit the fog, a Ölüm was aware because he controlled every bit of the gas that was in the first district. When the cube of gas exploded, other gas traveled into other districts was an independent entity thinking on its own. It sought out targets whether they were civilians or warriors.

However, instead of anticipating Orpheus's head-on attack with a physical attack of his own from his whip, he devised another idea. In an instant the flare grew faster from the gas around it and spread like wildfire. He smirked and used the now ignited poison in the square as a shield between him and Orpheus.

His reasoning came as such: The pyromancer had only the option of containing a released energy of a fuel via energy he put in himself. On many occasions such as this one, the flame was created out of the fuel of simple air of the atmosphere, or a pocket of air that was in the ground. However, now that the flame was released and unmaintained to simply air, it could attach to other particles that exist in the air such as the poisonous gas Ölüm created.

This was where things got interesting.

Ölüm still controlled the fuel and because he could control the fuel himself, he would be able to contain it's loss of energy. If pyromancer decided to take away said energy, the fire would then revert back to a poisonous gas.

Thus, for the time being Ölüm had become a firemancer... and he liked the sound of that.

"V dear. Look what I can do now."

He let out a small jovial laugh and made a spiral of flames surrounds him and shoot up toward the sky, making a giant pillar of burning contained poison.

{Don't fear the dark... fear what's in it.}

[Wonderland : Bizarre Room]

Walking through the strange doorway, Zekvyr found himself in yet another odd setting. It was a room with a tiled floor, a fireplace off to the side, a table in the middle, and a bed in one corner. There was a small door leading off one place, and an open passage that lead in the opposite direction. Most noticeable, though, was the unique perspective Zekvyr was viewing this all from.

He was above everything, on a bookshelf near the fireplace... and he was two inches tall. The drow frowned. It would take forever for him to navigate this room at this height, both 'too high' wise, and 'too small' wise. He couldn't exactly jump down, and climbing would take too long. Without pausing too long to consider, Zekvyr turned right back around and left the same way he came.

Only, it didn't lead back to the forest. It led to the bottom of the room. He turned around to see he had exited from a mouse hole this time. Once again, he turned around and entered where he had come from... and wound up on top of the table. He had no idea how that one had worked -no idea how any of it worked- but had the distinct feeling he was being played.

Eyes narrowing dangerously, he approached the only visible thing on the table: a small vial filled with clear liquid. A note was attached to it. 'Drink Me' it read. Strangely, the writing was in the drow language, as if it had been meant just for him. Startled, Zekvyr took a step back. As far as he knew, he was the only living being who could read that language, let alone write it. His mind swirled with the implications. Did other drow survive that attack? Or, more likely, was this world actually reading his mind?

He approached once again, and took the vial in hand. Drink me, it said. Poison? His instincts told him no. He sniffed it anyway, testing it like he had learned on his world. Death by poison was not uncommon there. Death by anything was not uncommon there. The moment his lips touched the bottle, something extraordinary happened. The world got a lot smaller, or, rather, it started to look like it normally should. He was the 'right' size now. The bottle was still in his hand, and had grown with him. Three quarters of the liquid remained. He pocketed it. Glancing at the table, he noticed another bottle, this one would have seemed huge in his two inches state. He pocketed this as well, taking care to keep the two separate. If this other bottle did what he thought it did, these potions, or whatever they were, would prove very useful.

[You aren't good enough for her... drop dead buddy]

[Traverse Town : First District]

Kuu stood back watching the fight while analyzing their opponent's movement, but quite frankly it was hard to keep and eye on the female. Especially with all the steam, but with his training as a samurai he could just barely make out silhouettes. What made it difficult for him though was that she was at one spot, but would suddenly turn up in another. He watched as everyone else tried to do something to help out, but it seemed that nothing was working on her.

"Does this witch even sit still for a moment!?" Kuu desperately wanted to try something to help them out but he couldn't think of anything. Suddenly the wail got to his ears and he began to feel it. Kuu tried to covers his ears, but that didn't even help in the least bit. His whole body was starting to shake, and he tried his hardest to shake off the awful feeling he had. He saw that someone else ran off to try and take her head on.

"Damn it all... we are out of our league with this! Suzu back me up! If I mess up, do something to bail me out..." The boy dashed off to a side and got into one of his stances. "Nakitsukidou: Stance 2 Tsubame!" he concentrated energy into his blades and swung upwards firing off swallow shaped magic missiles towards the female opponent. If the swallows and that female knock her off balance for even a second I might be able to get her... he thought to himself. Of course it was all hypothetically speaking that it would work out like it did in his head but the enemy was in a different league.

He then began to reduce his number of breaths to hide his position and closed his eyes so that he wouldn't let his eyes fool him. He was going to leave it all to sound, but he felt his heart racing. While sweat raced down his face from the heat of the steam, he tried to stay as calm as possible. "Nakitsukidou: Stance 1..." he then waited quietly for things to maybe fall into place.

{Kweh...[Oh my...]}

[Traverse Town: First District]

"Warwark![Holy Fat Chocobo!]" was his reaction as the table caught ablaze in the breath of fire. Who knew a human could breath fire on command? I'll have to look into th--OWWWWWWWWWWWWW!

The pain caused by that scream was excruciating, and Enyb started, once again, running around in a panic, flapping his wings wildly, making loud pained noises. Oh, if only the noise would stop! And then, the chocobo came up with an idea, as stupid as it might have been.

He ran towards the girl with the lungs of doom, still acting panicked, still making obscene noises, and right as he got near her, he'd lash out with his clawed foot in an effort to shut her up or make her leave or something.

[[Masenko-Ma]]

"If at first you don't succeed..."

___[Castle Oblivion .:. Kitchen]

Masenko chuckled a bit before saying, "That nasty stuff again? What is it with you and tea? Why can't you drink or eat something good, like hot wings and tabasco? Or something that's not fruity? Like beer?" Masenko opened the fridge again and pulled out the only carton of milk before downing it all to put out the fire in his mouth.

He then made his way over to the table where Vereor and Haruko sat, pulling up a chair and watching the game with his chin on the table. It only took around 10 seconds for him to finally moan, "I'm booooored, man... Why don't we have any booze or something? We never get to enjoy ourselves. Day after day it's tea, chess, I sleep in, and no one gets hammered. The repetition... It's maddening, Ver."

"... Then you were taught by losers."

Zigmund

[Traverse Town: Second District]

Zigmund couldn't put his finger on it, but something was strange about this place. For such a nice looking town, people were scarce and their was a kind of depressing atmosphere.

He liked it. It reminded him of his old lab, except with more stores, a fountain, a young girl,a clock tower...

Hey he thought. It looks like I've found my world guide

With that thought, he walked over to the young girl,hoping he could get some information. After all, you can't run a test without doing some background research.

{[Elde]}

"Why does fortune...seem to strike the most kindhearted people? Is everything just pre-ordained?"

.:[Traverse Town: First District]:.

Elde was flung to the side and smashed into a table by the cloaked woman’s attack. He sat up in the splintered wood and rubbed his throbbing head. “She’s… awfully quick” as he said this he realized that his reels were slowing and he wouldn’t have much time before the attack was unleashed. He felt Sory’s roar and it helped him spring to his feet and get back in the action more quickly, it also helped that the poison had been cleared mostly. The screech was a detriment, though he seemed to avoid the brunt of it being in the corner of the café and of course he didn’t really have many terrible memories to recall.

Gotta be quick…

He flung his swords out as he held them to his sides and saw various people launching attacks on the tough opponent, and faintly noticed others through the mixture of fog and steam. He dashed towards the cloaked woman with the weird weapon and seeing as someone was attacking from above (Kuu) and to the side (Alex) he figured he’d try and trap her by attacking from another position.

As he approached her he pushed himself to give a burst of speed and as he approached Alex coming up on the enemy he leaped into the air past her and as if in slow motion he flew through the air until he saw the woman they were attacking come into his vision beneath him. As this happened he held out his smaller sword and the reels finally came to a sudden stop….

Let’s see whose tune this attack plays to…

BING Cherry…BING Paw…BING Sword= ARMOR BREAK

The attack reels came to a stop and the lights above and below flashed every color just as he was above Aria and a flash of golden light particles came blasting out of his small sword to come down upon her head. If it hit it would do damage as well as make her more susceptible to physical attacks from others!

Hope this works…
