Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
April 19, 2005. Early morning.

I am afraid that I scared Damien when I came home from my walk in the woods.

Dysis showed me horrible, horrible things. I do not know if I have mentioned her, but she is the one that changed me.

Anyway, what she showed me were too horrible for me to write. My hand is even shaking now, I can barely read this, but I must get this out of me.

Damien must have called Nyoka, for she came running into my room not moments after I got home. She asked me why Damien was so worried. The moment she saw me, I suppose I looked a wreck. The color drained from her face and she came over to me, I started crying again, and told her all that Dysis showed me.

She didn't believe me, she told me the vampire was playing nasty tricks on me, and that she would kill her for it. But, in my heart, I believe what she showed me.

It was after my sobs subsided that I noticed another woman with her. She gave me such a fright. She looked like an old proffesor from my school. It took me a moment to realise that she was not. She was much taller, and looked younger. And had flaming red hair. But, the way in which she held herself, the severe purse of her lips and the knot held tightly at the nape of her neck, threw me a little.

Nyoka told me Galena, the healer in her city, would be watching over me the next few days. That Nyoka would take Damien to Greece with her while I sorted through everything.

It will be good for him, I think. He does not need to see me like this. . . .

March 3, 2005.

I am with Nyoka in Greece now. Mum has been sad, so Nyoka took me away.

She promised to take me to explore her city later today. It should be interesting.

I have been to the clinic a few times. Nyoka thinks it is wise for me to meet new people.

I met Ala. She is pregnant. I think she will have a boy. Or, I hope. And, I have seen Rhiannon many times. Tinania is bigger now, and I don't know if she wants to play games with me anymore.

I think Nyoka is calling me!

-D.

Sayuri_Nitta
Rhiannon strolled into the clinic, clad in a black tee and black jeans. She looked around and let out a gasp - Damien! It had been so long since she'd seen the boy and she had begun to believe he wasnt coming back here.
'Damien!' she called, wondering who the teenage girl with Kia was.

Neith-Kia
"Nyoka just doesn't like Taka, so she makes up stories about him." Kia gave Nyoka a look. "Taka is normal anyway, normal as any other fa'e."

Tie giggled, and attempted to poke her own nose as well. It didn't work, and she went crosseyed as she started to work on that difficult task of getting finger to nose.

Kia went to sit on the floor nearby, watching them. "She isn't as messy as she was when you last saw her."

Elle nodded. "Always, I think. I don't see her as much as mom does."

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
Damien jumps at the sound of his name, and turns slowly. His eyes narrow in curiousity as he scans his memory. "Rhiannon," he says, inclining his head a little to her. "How have you been? Is everything . . . ah . . . better?" he asks.

Nyoka chuckles at the girl, and starts to demonstrate by poking her own nose. She then sticks her tongue out, and does a very snake-like flick with it, before winking at Kia. "Good thing she looks like you," she teases.

Damien, torn between both girls, turns back to Elle. "How has Miss. Neith been?" he asks, brows furrowed a little.

Sayuri_Nitta
'I'm pretty good actually,' and Rhiannon did look really happy.
'How are you? I've missed you.' she smiled, then remembered her manners.
'Hello Kia, hi Nyoka. Umm I'm sorry I dont know your name,' she said, addressing Elle who she didnt recognise since she had grown since the last time she had seen her.

Neith-Kia
Elle turned to see the other teenager as well. She was kind of familiar, although Elle couldn't remember any names or anything, Damien's name for her felt pretty right. So she waved, deciding that this had to Rhiannon if Damien said so. "Mom's been okay, I think." Elle answered Damien, and told Rhiannon, "Hi."

Kia grinned. "Do you think so? I mean, she has Taka's eyes and his hair when I see her." She wriggled over to sit next to Nyoka, watching them both.

Tiegan poked her tongue out back, but there was no way she could do that odd thing. So she reached up and tried to poke Nyoka's tongue and nose instead, both being within view.

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
"Hello, Rhiannon," Nyoka says, almost distracted, as she sticks her tongue out again. She wriggles her nose as well, just to keep Tiegan occupied. "Nah, I like think that she looks like you, and only you," Nyoka says.

"I'm glad to hear that, Elle," Damien says before he places his hands bahind his back. Rhinannon's comment earns her a smile, teeth and all. "I've missed you, too. Climbed any trees lately?" he asks, his curious eyes sparkling.

Sayuri_Nitta
'Many a tree,' she grinned back.
'Its easier now I'm older.' she flexed her toned arms.
'And I've learned a new trick as well. You want to see?' she asked, eager to share with her friend.
'Oh, oh and I have a tattoo!' she giggled. Damien had been away too long she decided.

Neith-Kia
"I don't mind that. She is very pretty. Arn't you?" Kia beamed down at Tiegan, who apparently was too busy playing with Nyoka's face.

There was a tounge Tiegan had to catch! She grabbed out at it, and ended up poking at Nyoka's cheek instead. Still a few skills needed to perfect.

Elle shrugged again and told Rhiannon, "And I'm Elle... if you haven't met me yet." She wasn't sure if her 'I've met this girl' feelings were right.

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
Damien grins again, growing at ease now that he has been around the group for a bit. "Really? I want to see the trick. And the tattoo. If that is appropriate, of course," he adds, still grinning.

"Very pretty," Nyoka says. "Now that I can properly introduce myself to you, Tiegan, I am your Aunt. Not that you can understand," she says, rubbing her cheek a moment, before sticking her tongue out yet again. Without her snakes, this little game would have to do to keep the child occupied.

Sayuri_Nitta
'Elle? Oh so sorry I didnt recognise you straight away. But you've grown since I last saw you.' she smiled.
'Oh its only on my lower back,' she turned, flipping up the bottom of her top, and tugging down her trouser waistband a touch to reveal the intricately worked design in black ink.

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
Damien studies the tattoo. "It's very nice work," he says, as though he knows all about tats. "Did it hurt? Nyoka says hers didn't, but when I asked mum about hers, they said they hurt so bad she wanted to kill the person doing them. I think she is lying, though. . . ." he says, his eyes letting on that he is far too smart to be duped by his mum.

Neith-Kia
Kia looked at the clock, and sighed. "Momma said she'd babysit Tiegan, so I have to go. I get to see a movie tonight, without a toddler. Elle?"

"I can go home myself."

"I know, but you know what Momma said..."

Elle made a face, and went to stand next to the door as Kia packed up Tie's stuff. Then Kia hugged Nyoka and Tie, picked up Tiegan and wandered to the door. "Bye!"

Elle waved to them as well, then followed reluctently.

Sayuri_Nitta
Rhiannon pulled her t-shirt down and sat down in one of the vacated seats, waving goodbye as Elle and Kia left. She took the opportunity to give Damien a warm hug, ruffling his hair at the same time.
'It hurt yeah. But not alot. Not so much as being knifed in the leg,' she poked her tongue out.

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
"Bye," Nyoka and Damien say, almost in unison.

Sighing, Nyoka sighs and stretches. She walks over to Damien and tugs on his book sack. He hands it over, and Nyoka goes to sit in a chair, taking one of the books he had in his book bag out to read.

Damien blushes at the hug, not used to people other than family hugging him. He sits with Rhiannon, and blinks when she mentions being knifed in the leg. "Did that happen to you?" he asks, his face the picture of concern now. "You're fine, I see that, but still. . . ." he frowns a little at that.

Krista DarkAngel
Tinania slipped inside the clinic, she was rubbing her eyes and yawning. Rose popped her head out of the emo bag she was carrying. Tinania looks down a the dark red elven gown she had on and shakes her head before looking up a waving to everyone here.

Rose slipped by down inside the bag, planning to take herself a quick cat nap.

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
Still frowning a little, Damien waves to Tinania. "Hello, Nani," he calls to her.

Nyoka lifts an eyebrow as she looks up from the book. "Hello, Tinania," she calls in greeting before retreating back into her book.

Sayuri_Nitta
'Uh yeah,' she wasnt too sure why she had brought it up. She didnt want to worry Damien after all. She hugged him again and then let him go chuckling.
'It was a werewolf hunter. But its healing now,' she said. She blinked at the new teenager that had walked in. She was vaguely familiar as Elle had been but she didnt want to blurt out a name and be wrong. She waved back.

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
Damien blushes again, and shakes his head a moment. "Some people are just evil," he mumbles.

Shaking his head again, he says, "So, I thought you were going to show me a trick?"

Krista DarkAngel
Tinania smiles and walks over to the others. She leans down giving Damien and hug then waves to Nyoka "I didn't expect to see you two this early..." she glances to Rhiannon "Your Rhiannon right? The girl who was in the kimoni..." she cuties and smiles "Its me Tinania, we only met briefly..."

Sayuri_Nitta
'Yes I'm Rhiannon. Tinania - you are very pretty,' she smiled at the teen.
'Oh right I was! Well my dad has been teaching me to control my were-wolf transformations and I can do this at any time,' she closed her eyes and concentrated. It was getting easier the more she practiced and she swiftly found the inner 'switch' that let her change. Were ears sprouted up and through her hair, and she reached and popped the opening on her jeans that she had sewn in for when she did this. A brown furred tail spilled out and she twitched it. She giggled, flicking her pointed ears.

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
"Ah. . . . I'm afraid that is my fault," Nyoka says. "I had to get up early for a meeting. I think Fauna just likes her little tortures. Anyway, it didn't last long, so I decided to drag the little prince out of the castle for a bit," she adds, still reading the book.

Damien hugs Tinania back briefly, smiling a little at her. "I was awake, anyway," he says.

EDIT: Damien watches, with no small amount of awe, as Rhiannon grows were ears and a tail. "Awesome," he mutters, reaching forward despite himself to touch her ears. Before he does, he stops, and places his hands in his lap. He remembers how uncomfortable he would get when someone touched his scales. "I wish I could do something like that," he says, watching the tail now.

Sayuri_Nitta
'You can touch them,' she chuckled, seeing how he reached forward and then darted his hands back again.
'I really dont mind,' and she wiggled her ears again, ducking her head forward a little.

Krista DarkAngel
Tinania giggles then gasps as she watches Rhiannon change "Okay and I thought doing magic was interesting. That just plain sweet...." she tilts her eyes watching the teen. She slips her hand inside her emo bag pulling out a sketch book and a pencil.

Flipping the page she does a quick sketch and smiles. "This would be a great thing to go into my recording...." she glances at Rhiannon then back down at the sketch pad.

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
Damien chuckles, and reaches forward to pet her ears. His eyes shine with the many questions he always seems to have on the tip of his tongue, but the sound of Nyoka's phone has him turning to look at her.

Looking harrassed, Nyoka takes out her cell phone, and answers in Greek. Damien frowns, knowing what that means.

Sure enough, a mildly frustrated Nyoka stuffs the phone back into her pocket and stands. "I'm sorry, short stuff. I gotta get you home," she states, really looking appologetic, both in appearance and tone, now.

Damien just nods. He looks at Rhiannon. "Maybe you can comeover one day?" he says, smiling again. "You need to see the forest, you would love it there."

Krista DarkAngel
Tinania smiles finishing up the sketch before glancing towards the clock, she frowns then nods "I must go, the book store should be open now, and I have to go pick up some books along with other items..." she bows to Rhiannon. "Maybe I will see you again, take care...."

With a smile she turns and heads back out of the clinic heading down the street toward Barton.

Sayuri_Nitta
She nodded, feeling a very peculiar sensation as he stroked her ears. It was pleasant though.
'If I was a cat I'd be purring,' she teased, then nodded as Nyoka spoke.
'I'd like that,' she replied, waving as they left. She had blushed a little at Tinania's compliment;
'Oh you draw?' she asked, curiously looking at the sketchpad, and then she chuckled.
'Ahh okay. You to.' she said, waving as Tinania left also.

Tinania was dressed her woodland gown of emerald green and black. Her hair was pulled back with a clip. Krista was dressed in a long silk blue skirt and a white sweater. Krista point to a blue halter dress and smiles "What about this one?"

Tinania shakes her head "Mom that not evlven, I thought you were going more elven." She laughs and shakes her head. She would give anything to be riding her horse Wildflower at this point instead of being here helping her mother out.

Lenore wanders graceully out of the manor. Damien is right on her heels, his eye boring into the back of her head.

She's trying to hide from him. Since his recent growth spurt, and the somehow teenage presence around him, his eyes seem to be able to read her better than anyone else's. How like Eirnae, Lenore finds herself thinking, and she feels the pain in her heart that always seems to follow the thought of Eirnae.

She is relieved when she spots Krista and Tinania by the koi pond. Maybe she can thrust Damien onto them, and he will stop looking at her with those searching eyes of his.

"I wish you would speak to me, mum," Damien says softly as his long legs match her stride.

"There's nothing to talk about, little prince," Lenore says, the light tone of her voice a little too forced.

Damien narrows his eyes at his mum, but he does not push anymore. He has since he saw her this morning, her eyes red-rimmed from crying, and the red of the tears the she didn't quite get. Instead, he looks at the pond, and finds himself smiling softly when he sees Tinania and Krista.

Rinon walks up the walk to th manor, his head down. He is so lost in thought that he doesn't notice the gathering forming around the koi pond. . . .

Tinania was the first to look up she smiles and waves to them "Aunti, Mein is that you? Come join us...." she looked at Damien and beg to him with her eyes Please get me away from this, my mother is driving me crazy. Krista looks up and smiles to them both "Well hello you two, how are you?" she glances at Damien and smiles "Well I see the little prince has grown, and into a handsome man at that."

Rose paws at Tinania's arm. Tinania shakes her head then looks down at Rose "What is it rose?" Rose jumps up and down "Rinon is coming!!!" Tinania smiles turning to her mother "Mother Rinon is coming...." Krista smiles when she spot him and giggles as she calls out to him as she stands "Rinon you lost in thought again?"

Tinania stand also placing Rose on the ground before fixing her gown, she walks over and curties to them both before looking to Damien, before looking back her aunti "How are you both today?"

Damien bows in reply to Tinania's curtsy. "Yes, Nani, it's me," he says in a voice that is threatening to crack at any moment. Something he finds very embarassing. Even more embarassing is the flush warming his cheeks now. "You look lovely," he adds, brushing impatiently at the lock of hair that looses itself from his meticulously held-back hair. "As do you, Aunt Krista," he says, inclining his head to her as well. This time, his voice does crack. He pretends he does not hear it, but the tips of his pointed ears are now red.

Serves him right, Lenore finds herself musing. "I'm fine, Tinania," she says, forcing a smile to her lips. "You look lovely. Time agrees with you."

Rinon shakes his head, to clear it when he hears his name called. He grins when he sees Krista, and starts to walk toward the pond.

"Ah, I think I will leave all of you alone. I would rather like a walk," Lenore says, before turning and walking toward the wood, absently. Damien's eyes follow her a moment, before he turns back to the women.

Tinania smiles and giggles "Thank you. We were picking out brides maid gown, but me and mother are not agreeing on anything" Krista laughs "Its not my fault, you just don't understand my taste...." Tinania looks at her mother hands on her hip "Well I think an Elven gown would look great on you, its lovely and its prefect. Not some halter top dress that shows off everything, leaving nothing to hide...."

Krista laughs and looks at Rinon "It seem my daugther here wants me all covered up, what do you think Rinon?" Krista walks over and places a quick kiss on his lips then takes his hand in hers. Tinania rolls her eyes and pushes some of her hair back looking at Damien "You look quite handsome today...." she smiles and points at his ears "And no need to blush Mien it happen to Ducan also. The voice cracking, only he sounded like a mouse...." she pats his cheek and giggles.

"I happen to resent that Tinania" Ducan said from behind as him and his sister Celia walk out of the forest "Good day to you all" Celia curties "Mother wanted me to inform you all that she wouldn't be coming in, she taking care of Draven, the man seem to caught the flu or something..." She walks over and hugs Tinania then whisper "Damien gotten very cute" Tinania rolls her eyes "Celia don't go there okay..." She turns to Damien and blushes haiding her face with her hair.

Krista turns and looks as Lenore walks off "Okay Lenore, we'll see you later then..." she looked at Rinon then Damien wondering what was wrong with Lenore.

Damien's eyes widen a little at all of the people coming out of the woodwork. He is on the point of speaking when a loud crack sounds, and he let's out a very undignified screech of pain as the pointed heel of Nyoka's boot lands on Damien's foot. She waves her free arm in the air as she tries to get her balance. Still in pain, Damien grabs his sister and helps her.

Nyoka looks a bit frazzled, a baby in her other arm. "Where's mum?" she asks, absently, not noting any change in Damien right off. He merely points in the direction Lenore went and Nyoka hurries off, the baby girl giggling in her arms.

Damien clears his throat, though he knows that it won't help with the cracking. It appears to be a growing pain, nothing for it, he reminds himself. He pretends he did not hear Celia's comment. He bows, shyly to everyone that has appeared, closing off again. He doesn't really know anyone here, and his shy, quiet nature seems to take a hold at times like these.

Rinon kisses the top of Krista's head, and looks at her with a smile. "Darling, I am not getting in the middle of this. You'll look beautiful, as always, in whatever you chose to wear," he winks at Tinania.

Tinania frowns and sticks her tongue at Rinon then smiles "Your no fun Rinon, how amd I to get my mother to agree if you don't help me." She shakes her head. Krista jumps when she hears the crack then arches a brow as she see Nyoka run off, holding a child. She looks to Damien "When did your sister have a child?"

Celia looks Ducan then Tinania "Come on were going to be late, let head to barton..." Tinania smiles then loosk to Damien "You wanna come with us, were going to a book store..." Krista smiles and runs her finger along Rinon lip then turns to the kids "Just be back before night fall okay...."

Tinania takes Damiens hand "We will you don't have to worry mum...Come on Damien, it will be fun..."

"I believe that was a . . . present," Damien says. "'Oka - I mean Nyoka - was not pregnant, to my knowledge," he smiles politely.

When his hand is grabbed, his blinks. But, Tinania said the magic words: Book store. "Let me talk to my-"

He doesn't finish what he was going to say, as a great scream is heard, followed by Lenore running. "She BIT me!" she yells, turning narrowed eyes to the baby Nyoka has in her arms as she runs after her mum.

"I'm sorry!" Nyoka says, looking exasperated. The beanie she is wearing is pulled almost to her eyes, and the girl in her arms is tugging on it now, and kicking Nyoka. "She scared off the nanny," Nyoka explained. She finally gets a look at her brother, and bends over to place the baby on the floor. She immidiately curls up and closes her eyes. "Damien," she grins, and rushes over to him. She pulls him into a bone-crushing hug.

When it is over, and Damien is red as a tomato, Nyoka lets go of him and looks around, blinking. She looks as though she just realized there were people around her. "Hello, Krista, Rinon, and - Gods, Tinania, you look wonderful," she beams, albeit sleepily. "What are we doing?"

Tinania blushes and smiles "Thank you Nyoka..." she looks around. "Me, Damien, Celia and Ducan were about to head to the book store." Celia and Ducan nod and smile. Tinania looks back at Nyoka "Your welcome to join us if you like...."

Krista smiles "Lenore are you okay...I have never seen you look so angry at a child since Nyoka was little..." she pulls away from Rinon long enough to walk over and wrap her arms around Lenore shoulder from behind and hug her sister hoping in some way it would comfort her. She glances down at the baby and looks to Nyoka "So where did you get the little biter?"

Tinania walks over and takes Damien hand once more "So you coming Mein, I heard they have some new books at the book store..."

"If it's all the same," Nyoka says, looking down at the sleeping baby. "I would rather stay here. I hope you all have fun."

Damien nods. "I'll come," hesays. Books, after all, are his ultimate weakness. . . .

Lenore stiffens a little at the hug, then reminds herself to get a grip. She relaxes a little. "I'm fine. She just startled me," she explains.

Rinon watches from a step back. He looks thoughtfully down at the child, wondering just how many teeth one so small could have. Then again, this didn't look like a normal baby. In fact, it looked an aweful lot like Nyoka did, when she was normal. Except, the baby had feet, and a bunny's tail and ears.

"I don't know, she was on my doorstep. Don't ask me how she got to Greece, but she's scary. Reminds me of. . . . someone," Nyoka relpies.

Tinania nods before nodding to her mother and Rinon. She waves to her aunti then walks over to Celia and Ducan. She glances back at Damien and smiles holding her hand out to him. Ducan layed his hand on Tinania head like at rest and Tinania frowns moving away from him "Ducan quit it. I'm not an arm rest..." Celia giggles as she watches her brother blush. Tinania turns back to look at Damien her hand still out towards him.

Krista nods laying her head on her sister shoulder looking down at the baby. "She reminds me of you and Aylana put together Nyoka.." she glances at Rinon and giggles "Rinon I'm telling you right now, she might bite you also if you get any closer...."

Damien takes Tinania's hand, and waits to be led to this glorious bookstore.

Nyoka shakes her head. "Qamra, that is her name, reminds me of Aadil. Biting, beating with her fists. I am keeping all manner of weapons from her," she grumbles, looking darkly at the sleeping baby, and has Lenore smiling a little, resting her cheek on Krista's head.

Rinon simply laugh, warmly, for one of the first times since his father died. "I think I can handle her. If I could deal with Ximena, I believe Qamra will be a walk in the park, as they say."

Krista looks over and smiles at Rinon, then brushes hair from Lenore face then smiles "Well I haven't met Aadil, but Aylana told me about him. He seems very interesting. You know she reminds me of Melinda, she alittle baby that just appear out of no where..." she watches the kids leave then looks to Lenore then Nyoka "Do you think they'll be safe?"

Tinania smiles following Celia and Ducan, she was quite as Celia and Ducan talked "Do you think they got some new books on spells or herbs?" Celia rolls her eyes and looks at Ducan "Is that all you ever think about, what about something fun, like using sword,s or bow and arrows?" Celia glances behind her and smiles as Ducan nudging him. He smirks and nods and Celia "Well with the spell books there always specials spell that could be used.."

"Interesting is too mild of a word," Lenore says stiffly, causing Nyoka to roll her eyes.

"I think she was a present. Isn't it odd for someone to give babies as a present?" Nyoka asks.

Lenore merely grunts, and looks at Krista. "Don't worry about them, nothing will happen," she assures her.

Damien follows silently a moment, before he hears another magic word: spells. "They have spell books?" he asks, interested now as he reaches in his coat to finger his wand.

Tinania nods "Yea they do, in fact a new shipment suppose to be coming in today..I was hoping to pick up some new healing books..." she smiles pushing her hair back. She looks to Ducan and laughs "Hey Ducan your not going to try that love spell again on one of those sister at the village are you?"

Ducan frowns "So what if I am..." Tinania sighs "Ducan you know that love isn't something to mess with, you have to let it just happen. I mean if she likes you, she'll let you know..." she looks at Celia who was giggling then she shakes her head looking to Damien "I mean I'm right aren't I?"

Krista smiles then looks around "Well who in the mood for some coffe and just sitting inside." she looks around and smiles before walking over and picking up her books and notebook.

Damien blinks. "Nani, I am hardly an expert on the matters of the heart. But, one would assume that they would not like their free will tampered with in such a way. Karma will come around and smack you with a hefty fine, I would imagine," he says with some thought, tapping his chin.

"Coffee sounds good," Nyoka says. She bends over to pick up Qamra. To her great relief, the child stays asleep.

"I'll meet you all inside in a bit," Lenore says. "I just want to watch the koi for a while longer. It's a nice day." Even though the sun still causes her irritation, even burns, the ring Eirnae gave her so long ago has bonded with her to such an extent that it won't let her die.

Rinon nods to Lenore, looking at her thoughtfully a moment. Shaking his head slightly, he walks over to his fiance. "Lead the way," he says.

Krista nods walking inside to get the coffe started. She was humming to herself looking out the window watching Lenore. She wish she could tell what was going on. She been living under the same roof, but to this day she could never read Lenore like Eirnae could. She sigh and pushes her hair from her face looks down at the sink her nails tapping the counter.

Tinania giggles and taps Damien cheek lightly then turns to Ducan "He right, karma will get you. And my grandmother said that a bad thing" she points to her tattoo "See I'm living proof..." she goes quite after then and Ducan frowns "Sorry Nia, I forgot. I won't do any spells like that I promise" he winces as Celia punches him in the shoulder and frowns, but smiles as they reach Barton town. "Were almost there its just around the corber from the Jewelery shop."

Rinon walks up behins Krista once Nyoka is gone, and wraps his arms around her waist. "Is there something on your mind, love?" he asks.

Damien frowns a little when Tinania grows quiet. He asks no questions, though, simply looking around him. "Maybe we could stop at the jewelry store too? Mum gave me some pocket money. I might be able to get her a trinket. . . ." he asks. Then, he smiles a little. "Someone has to make sure I don't spend it all on books. . . ."

Krista smiles and leans back against Rinon touching his cheek "I just, I just wish there was some way I could help Lenore. She seems so lost, and its driving me crazy that I can't be there for her like I was in the past. But I'm not Eirnae, and at this point, I don't think she'll smiles for anyone but Eirnae...." she turns in his arms then looks at him laying her head on his chest looking at her ring.

Tinania looks at him and smiles "Yea we can do that, I think I might get something for my mother also...." she looks at Celia and Ducan "You guys go ahead. Save any magic books for us okay." Celia nods and pulls Ducan along with her "Come on Ducan, were going to miss all the new books...." Ducan looks back and frowns before turning and following Celia to the book store.

Tinania steps inside looking around, her eyes instantly fall to a beautiful sterling silverbutterfly necklace with sapphire jewels in the wings. She looked at it a few times before shaking her head and walking over to look at some of the other necklace. She wanted to find a gift for her mother, not herself.

Rinon looks out the window at Lenore as well. "She'll talk to you, when she is ready. How long has her fiance been gone?" he asks.

Damien jingles the bag of gold his mum gave him. Hush money, that's what he thinks it is. A sizeable chunk as well. More than he could ever spend on himself without feeling bad. To stop him from asking so many questions of him. No matter, he would use it to buy something for her, the selfish side of him, however small it is, hoping that it might soften her a bit so that she would spill what was bothering her to him.

He watches Tinania a moment, watches her stare at the butterfly. Smiling to himself, he motions for one of the staff to come to him when Tinania turns away. When he is sure she isn't watching him, he quickly starts a transaction. He tells the man that he will be purchasing something else, in such a manor that the aloof employee does not guess his age correctly. Damien has always seemed older, and now that he is taller, his manner makes him seem more a man than the teenager that he is.

Thank god his voice didn't crack, that's all he is thinking. "Did you find anything of interest yet?" he asks Tinania when he steps up quietly behind her.

Tinania turns and smiles nodding "Yea I think I'm going to get my mother that." she point to the locket, it was two heart connect with an arrow, she smiles looking at Damien "I think she love it, if not that then this one." she points to a heart only made out of a celtic knot and in the middle was a topaz jewel. She smiles and looks at him "Have you picked out something for your mother?" she motions to the staff and nods as they pull out the two necklaces. She looks them over then glances back to Damien.

Krista frowm and tilts her head looking at Rinon "Six months to the day. And with each passing day I know its getting harder on her. I'm half tempted to go and find her myself, but I think that would only worry her more. Thats the only reason why I haven't done it yet..." she grabs two coffee mugs and pours herself a cup then takes a sip then pours him a cup and hands it to him. "So hows your sister? I haven't seen her since she left that night..."

"They have some emeralds I am looking at. She likes emeralds," he replies, and looks at the necklace. "I hope you don't mind my suggestion, but I think that Aunt Krista will like the one with the topaz more," he smiles a little at her. "One moment," he says, with something catches his eye. He walks over to one of the glass cases and looks down at the emerald necklace. Obviously, someone had a snake-lover in mind when they made this. The necklace is a great snake, made of white gold. It's mouth is open, and in it, right between the overly-long fangs, is a large emerald. He asks how much it is, and jiggles his gold again. He wouldn't have enough for even one book if he bought this. Deciding getting this for his mother would be nicer than a book for himself, he nods to the same man, and asks him to ring his purchases up.

He strides back over on his long legs to Tinania. "Did you agree with me?" he asks after a pause.

"I've not seen her either. She came to the funeral, but did not join us. She was off in the shadows somewhere," Rinon sighs. "The women in our lives are not good at keeping a cheerful mood about us, are they?" he asks, smiling. "Anyway, I would much rather focus on our wedding. Are you going to let me help you plan it at all?"

Krista blushes and nods "Yes, I was just picking out my bridal gown, and the brides maids outfits, but you saw how well that went." she smiles "Tinania, I keep forgetting that she was with my mother, so she growns up to be proper. She think I should wear an elven gown. But its not my thing, I mean, I just, I don't know, don't think I would look proper in it." she smiles leaning against the counter looking up at him.

Tiania smiles watching the man wrap up the celtic heart with the topaz jewel in the middle. She turns to Damien and nods "Yes I did agree with you, and thank you for helping me out Mein." she turns to the man and smiles handing him the gold then taking the bag with the small box inside. She turns back to Damien and smiels "Well ready to head to the book store?"

"I meant what I said," Rinon starts. "I think you would look good in whatever you chose. Though Tinania's input might be a very important thing to you, you need to go with what you are going to be comfortable with. This is our day, and we should be happy. So, do whatever makes you happy in that area."

Damien leads Tinania outside. Once they are out, he takes the case holding the necklace from the bag. "One moment. I saw you admiring it. Just think of this as a welcome home present," he says, smiling a little as he holds out the case.

Krista smiles and leans up kissing Rinon softly then pulls away "Then I'll just combine her ideas and my ideas together. Now the rest I'll need your input, becuase I went to that fairy tale restruant and well, they offer to cater for us. And well, I couldn't remeber the name of that cake you liked so much....I thought if you wanted that could be our wedding cake...." she bites her bottom lip blushing. "I promise, I'll let you do the rest if you want..." she hide her face behind her hair.

Tinania arches a brow as she took the case, she looked at him before opening the case. She gasped covering her mouth looking at Damien then back at the necklace. She didn't even think and she hugged him then lightly kisses his cheek. She done it all the time when she was a child, so it was natural to her. But why did it feel so different now. She stepped away and looks down "Thank you, you didn't have to." She looks up at him and smiles before turning "Could you um, put it on for me?"

"Why are you so embarassed," Rinon asks, an amused smile on his lips. There isn nothing wrong with what you did. It's very thoughtful." He chuckles and rests his hands on her shoulders. "And, if you like the cake as much as I did, I think it would be a lovely wedding cake," he adds.

Damien, oblivious of just how much fun Nyoka could have if she just witnessed this little display, nods, and takes the necklace. He concentrates on getting it clasped, only asking, "Could you hold your hair up, Nani?"

Tinania lifts her hair off the back of her neck and tilts her head forward "You didn't have to get this for me Mein. Really you didn't...." she looks over her shoulder at him "Do you have enough gold to get yourself any books?"

Krista looks up at him smiling, she leans close to him "So what else would you like to see at our wedding?" she runs her finger along his neck looking up at him "I know what I'm wearing along with the bridesmaid, but and what the food will be, but do you want beside that?"

"Well, you were gone a while," Damien starts. "I wanted to get you something. Friends buy each other presents all the time, Nani. Don't be embarassed by it." He steps back and examines the necklace. He nods his approval, a smile teasing the corner of his lips. "It suits you, Nani."

He then blinks, and jingles his almost empty gold bag. "I have enough for a cheap one," he answers, and waves it off. "With all of the books in the manor, I shouldn't really feel the need for more. Besides, my gold was well spent."

Rinon shrugs, grinning. "I just want you there. That's all that really matters," he replies.

Tinania smiles "Well if you see a book you like, tell me okay. I'll get it for you..." she blushes and looks down at the necklace before looking up at him again. Holding her hand out again she smiles "Shall we head to the bookstore? I'm very eager to just get in there and check books out. Plus I need to sit down, I've been running around all day, I'm just really tired..." she touches the necklace and smiles again. Some how she knew she never take it off.

Krista lightly pokes him in the ribs "Your not helping. How about this, wher do you want the honeymoon to be?" she pushes her hair from her face before turning to pick up her cup of coffee and sip it watching him from over the rim of the mug.

"Deal," Damien smiles, fully now, one of his rare ones, and tatkes Tinania's hand. "I'm sure they have some nice chairs in there for you to rest in," he pats the books sack his mum got him. It's slung over his shoulder carelessly, and almost completely hidden by the cape he is wearing. "I have a notebook. If I don't see a book I like completely, I can just write some spells down to try out at home. I'll keep you company while you look through books, as well."

Rinon grins wider. "I was going to suggest taking you back to my home city. But, if you had somewhere else in mind, we can do that as well. It could be honeymoon with a few stops here and there. Is there some place you have always wanted to see?" he asks.

Tinania smiles as they turned the corner, she rolls her eyes when she see Ducan out and sighs "Ducan takes being a guardian way to serious..." she looks at Damien and giggles "I'll just curl up in your lap like I did as a kid if I find something I like..." she nods to Ducan as they pass him walking into the book store. It wasn't busy which was good. It meant the couch was open. She giggles seeing Celia up on a ladder digging though the gardening section. She looks at Damien "So where do you want to start?"

Krista jaw drop "You mean to a elven city, a real one." she placed her cup down and touched his cheek "I love to see your home city. And no I didn't have anything in mind." she was so excited just from the thought. She looks down at her ring then glances back at him "You wouldn't mind taking me?"

Damien, his mind still not in the whole puberty state of mind, nods. "If you think I can still hold you," he teases. Now that there are more people around, the smile on his lips does not surface, only the same slight one he always has. "And, I really want to check out whatever spell books they have here. If you wanted to look at somehting else, we could meet back at the couch," he suggests. His eyes are on the books now, and nothing but them. There are so many of them! He could just. . . . live here, and be content.

Rinon chuckles. "Darling, I would not have suggested it if I did not want to take you," he taps her ring with one of his long fingers. "And, I would not have given you that if I didn't love you, and didn't want you with me all the time."

Tinania nod and leave Damien to head toward the History section. She bite her lip as she looked over the book "Oh what was that place grandmother talked about?" she kept looking. She frown and shook her head, they didn't have the book. She then walked over to the Animal section. She looked that over until she found a book on Wild Cats. She pulled it out and smiles "This should work for now.." she turns as heads back towards the couch.

Ducan was sitting on the couch, she takes a seat on the couch and Ducan smiles "Hey Tinania why don't you sit on my lap." she looks at Ducan and shakes her head "No its okay I'm fine right here Ducan.." he frowns and gets up to go look for some books.

Krista smiles as she stands leaning her body against his, her hand resting against his leg and bites her bottom lip "All the time hmm, I like that..." she leans in kissing him softly, her other hand laying against his chest. She pulls away slightly leans against the counter again "I think I might have found that lake I was talking about." she leans over grabing a leather tie and pulls her hair up into a ponytail.

Damien seems to have gotten lost. It is quite some time before he comes back from the magic section with a big pile of books stacked precariously in his arms. Somehow, probably due to his natural grace, the books don't topple over. He sets them down next to the couch and sits gently. "Animals, hmm?" he asks as when he looks at the cover of Tinania's book.

"Really?" Rinon has to blink away the kiss, but he manages to reply. "Is it as beautiful as you say you were told it was?"

Tinania looks at him and nods "I'm doing some research on the animal that was use to cause this." she touched her tattoo then looks away. She looks over at his books and smiles "I see you picked out quite a selection there." she moved closer to him and leaned over grabbing the first book off the top. She looked at the cover and smiles "Mind if I look at this?"

Krista nods "I had to follow this centaur and a Naga. It was so strange I didn't even know they lived in the forest. But when they got there. The garden was so amazing. I had never seen so many flowers. And right in the centaur was a lake. And there was mermaids in the lake. Plus there was fairies flying all around." she looked like a little girl as she describes it "It where I would love to get married..."

Damien doesn't comment on the scar. Instead, he waves his hand as an affirmative. "Go ahead. I have enough to keep me occupied," he says. He pauses a moment, and then looks as though he remembered something. "I meant to ask if you have tried out your wand since you got it?"

Rinon nods. "It's done. I would like to see it sometime soon," he adds.

Tinania shakes her head "No grandmother took it from me and told me if I could do magic I could do it without my wand. So far I've done alittle magic but just with potions and herbs. What about you, I know you wanted a wand since I could remember. Have you tried it out yet?" she glances down at her book then smiles when she find the cat she was looking for. She places a book mark then looks at Damien pulling her feet up under her dress.

Celia tosses at book at Ducan. Catching it he frown "Why did you do that?" Cellia smirks "Because you don't knwo when to give up. Don't you know, those two we always be tied at the hip so to say. You'll never been able to be the star to her like Damien is..." Ducan frowns "They're cousin, she doesn't see him like that Celia.." Celia laughs "They're not related at all Ducan, they call each other cousin because their mothers are best friends. But now that they're teens, who says that them just being brother and sister to each other won't change..." Ducan frown shaking his head "I won't let that happen..." Celia laughs again and climb the ladder once more as Ducan watched them.

Krista smiles pushing off the counter "Well I could take you right now if you want to go. I know the way..." she turns and walks toward the door of the kitchen then looks back at him.

"That sounds like a plan, if you have time," Rinon says.

Damien shakes his head. "I've been working alone. But . . . I'm sorry. I just think your grandmother was wrong, taking your wand away like that. There are many different ways to perform magic, and stopping your from exploring an avenue of it just seems a bit narrow-minded. . . ." He looks at Tinania sheepishly then. "No offense meant, Nani."

Krista smiles and winks "Rinon I have all the time in the world when your around..." she holds her hand out "Come on let get our cloaks.....Its almost dusk and it will be getting cold..." she smiles and looks out the window hoping to spot Lenore. She wanted her to come also if she was around.

Tinania giggles and shrugs "Its alright, I'm fine with it really. Its
interesting acturally trying to do everything without the wand. At first I couldn't but as I started paying attention and listening I started understanding and learning quicker...
" she flips though the pages of the spell book before glancing at Damien "Think this is a good book of spells?" she shows him a page that is on healing.

Lenore is, indeed, still around the koi pond, just staring blankly at the same spot. not even bothering to pretend she is looking at the fish. Her thoughts are on the strange Drow she met the other night, and what she almost did. The guilt is holding her heart in a pincer grip right now, and she can't seem to be able to move because of it.

"Alright, love," Rinon leans forward and kisses the top of her head. "I'll grab your cloak."

Damien nods as she explains things. It is still slightly . . . off to him that a family member would steal your wand. When presented with the question of whether or not the book is a good one, he looks down at it. "I am not an authority on these types of books, but I think it has some uses," he says, looking at the spell now. "I am sure there are other interesting spells in there. . . ." Lost in thought, he leans closer to the page, and starts jotting down notes in his some-how elegant hand. It looks a little out of place on the lined, notebook paper, but he does not know how to write any other way.

Krista smiles and nods as she grabs her cloak and pulls it on "I'll meet you outside then Rinon" she turns and heads outside. She glances towards the koi pond. Stepping off the step she walks towards the pond "Lenore, sis you okay? You seem sort of distant these last couple of days...." she kneels down next to her looks at her with concern in her eyes.

Tinaia looks down at Damien's handwriting and coos "I wish I could write as well as you do Damien. Truely beautiful...." she pushes back her hair and smiles placing the book down next to her them grabs another one from the pile flipping through it. Holding it out so they both can look at it. She giggles points to a love spell "That what Ducan wants to do...its foolish though..."

Rinon knows enough about women to know when to stay away for a bit. So, he does. Tidying up the kitchen, with Faene staring at him in horror.

Lenore looks at Krista slowly. She manages a smile and shakes her head. "I'm fine. Just thinking, that's all. Anyway, where's your fiance?" she asks.

Damien "Hmms," at the compliment. When it sinks in, he looks down at his writing. It doesn't seem very special to him, but he gives her one of his quick, slight smiles. "Thank you, Nani," he says.

He lifts an eyebrow, and turns up his nose at the spell. "It is foolish. Taking someone's free will like that. It's one thing to ask for love to come your way, but to have a person in mind, and bend their will to your own. . . ." he shakes his head, not liking the little ball of anger in his stomach. He wills it to fade away, and when it does, he grabs up another book, to take his mind off of the spell Tinania was talking about. "Now, healing? Protective spells? Even curses? They have more use than any love spell, and are far more interesting."

Krista smiles "He's still inside, I was going to take him to this interesting place I found. I was wondering if you wanted to join us. Maybe take your mind off of things....." she places her hand on Lenore's shoulder and gives in a gentle squeeze.

Tinania frowns at the word evil curses and closes the book she was holding looking down at her lap. She was quite for awhile as Celia walks up "Hey Tinania, Ducan wants to know if you can give him a hand. He got too many books he's carrying...." Tinania looks up and nods getting up and heading towards Ducan. Celia takes this as a chance to take a seat next to Damien "You know I over heard you talking about love spells. You know the person Ducan plans on using that spell on is Tinania right..." she smiles and stands "Thought you would want to know, seeing how she your baby cousin...." she turns to leave but pause "Wait, your not related by blood are you?"

"Sure," Lenore says. She looks around a moment. "Ah, let me get my shoes back on. Where are we going?" she asks, as an afterthought.

Rinon is currently walking very slow toward the two girls.

Damien watches Tinania go, and replays the words he spoke in frustration, and a bit of anger, over in his mind. He doesn't really hear Celia because of it. And, when he figures out what he said that probably upset Tinania, he feels a little follish, himself, now.

But, he really doesn't have much time to dwell on it. At Celia's bombshell, he raises his eyes to hers. "Are you sure?" he asks softly, his usually curious eyes narrowing a little at her.

The last question leaves him blinking, though. "She is my baby cousin. Because our mothers are not related by blood means nothing. Why ask such a silly question?"

Krista smiles and giggles "You'll have to wait and see, I'm hoping it will bring a smile to your face though. I miss seeing that...." she turns and looks over at Rinon "Ready to go, we need to reach this place before dark....or we won't be able to find it....."

Celia smiles and glances over "Just curious seeing how you two are older now. Are you really going to be able to see her as a baby sister anymore. And I'm telling you the truth. He doesn't know I told you though... He plans on doing the spell in two nights. Right before the half moon. Thought you would like to watch any of her drinks....." she smiles and walks away just as Tinania and Ducan walk up. She walks holding his books while he had a box of herbs, stones and glassware. "Hey Mien, think you could help me, I'm about to drop these..."

"I'm ready," Rinon says. When Lenore nods, they both wait for Krista to lead the way.

Damien looks at Duncan, pushing Celia's ridiculous ideas out of his head. When he speaks, his brittish accent is clipped, and a little cold. He wasn't going to sit back and idly watch Ducan slip his cousin something. Especially when he was so opposed to it.

His aqua-blue eyes are a little cold, something new for him. "Just set them down a moment, will you, Nani?" He asks, never taking his eyes from Duncan. "I think I need to speak with your friend a moment, in private. When I return, I will help you with the books." He raises an eyebrow at Duncan expectantly.

Krista smiles and slips ahead if them heading into the forest. She lifts her hood over head then looks around. "Daire you around?" A centaur with an emerald green body and bright orange hair slips out from the bushes and smiles "Yes I'm here...are you three ready?" She nods then turns back "Rinon, Lenore meet Daire...he's from a centaur villege not to far from here, he'll take us to the place..."

Tinania frown before looking out at the window "Mein, its getting late, please...I wanna head home, beside I need to check up of Ren and Drac for Aylana. And I need to feed Rose. Please" she gave this really pleading look. She was tired and just wanted to get home. She was alittle upset from being reminded about evil curses again and just wanted to head home to study them again.

Lenore doesn't bat an eye as a centaur emerges from the woods, but Rinon has a moment of pause. The both incline their heads, respectfully, to the centaur, before waiting for him to lead them further.

Damien's eyes don't leave Duncan's, still. "I need to speak with Duncan. It won't be but three minutes, I promise, Tinania. . . ."

Daire nods and turning he waves his hand "Okay come on, we must move quickly...." Krista turns back to them and taking both there hands she pulls them along with her. Daire looks back to Krista "Can they both be trusted, if you don't mind me asking" Krista smiles and nods "This is my sister, and well this is the man I plan to marry in the spot." Daire smiles and nods "Alright..."

They head deeper into the woods, there was a faint sound of music playing in the forest.

Tinania frowns and placing the items down she walks outside. Celia looks at Ducan who was glaring at her before turning and following Tinania. Ducan smiles looking at Damien "What do you want Damien?" he was leaning against the couch all calm and cool like nothing had happen looking over his box of items.

Lenore blinks. She heard the music before Rinon, even with his elven hearing. Both find themselves smiling slightly as they get closer to it.

Damien strides closer to Duncan. Apparently, he has some of Lenore's temper in him, as his hands fist at his side, under his cape. He narrows his heavy-lidded eyes at Duncan. "I will be straight with you," he said, his voice uncharacteristically calm. "If you do anything to breach the confidence that Tinania has in you, if you do anything to compromise her will, I will find a way to hurt you. It might not be physical, but you can rest assured that you will know when it happens. You leave her emotions alone. Do we have an understanding, Duncan?"

Krista looks back at them smiling before gasping as she see a fairy fly by, It was Pielle Tinania's little fairy friend. The singing grew louder until they reached what look like a gate made of roses. Krista looks back at them both. "Ready to see this place...." Daire taps his hoof on the ground several times. The music stopped as hooves are heard moving across the garden.

Ducan smirks looking at Damien "You stop me. I doubt you will Damien. Beside I'm tired of being second to you in her eyes. Now excuse me I have things to pay for.." he steps place Damien and heads over to one of the staff at the counter to pay for his items.

Lenore and Rinon wait quietly for the gates to open, both nodding slightly in answer.

Damien's eyes narrow to slits. He follows Duncan. "I don't know what you are on about, about you being second or whatever. But, you will be less than that to her. If you do this, you are a criminal, and I will punish you. If you are willing to do this, not only do you not care for her, but you do not respect her. If I see that anything is off. . . ." he lets his voice trail off. With a curt nod, he goes to join Tinania outside.

"Let's go. Celia can help her brother. He doesn't deserve your help," he says, holding out a hand to Tinania.

The gates to the garden open the first thing anyone would notice if the beauitul lake right in the center of the garden. There was two tree right near this waterfalling that was flowing into the lake. around it was bushes of flowers. A mermaid popped her head out of the water and waves to Daire before jumping going back under the water. Krista turns to them and smiles "This what I mean, this place is perfect...."

Tinania glances a Damien confused then back at Celia. Celia looks at them and frown "Its okay Tinania, we'll catch up..." Tinania nods then looks back at Damien "I still needed to pay for my books though..." she takes his hand and frowns "Oh well I got notes so I'll deal with those for now......" she keeps quite wondering if she had done someone wrong.

"I'll have to remember this place when Eirnae returns. . . ." Lenore says to herself. She then shakes her head and walks further into the garden.

Rinon steps up beside Krista and takes her hand. "It is perfect," he says softly.

Damien closes his eyes a moment as they walk. "I'm sorry," he tells Tinania. "It's just. . . ." he's not even sure he should tell her, but he doesn't want anything to happen to her. "I found out who Duncan wanted to use the potion or the spell on."

Krista smiles and squeezes Rinon hand "I hoped you would like this place....." she looks at Lenore. "Lenore you should see inside the lake, its a world on its own down there.....That lake has magic, to us it may look small but it not. Its truely amazing...." she looks to Rinon then motions him to check out the lake.

Tinaia looks at him and smirks "Well I knew that, everyone knew he was going after Ardana. Celia told me two week ago. Ducan will be Ducan, if there anything I have learned is that once he put his mind to it, no one will stop him....So don't worry about him okay.." she squeezes his hand as her wing flutter the light catching the colors in her wings. She glances at Damien and smiles "I heard he going to do it in two days, I hope it doesn't work, its just wrong...and sad...."

Lenore nods, just looking absently around her.

Rinon smiles. "Alright, then, darling Krista. Show me the lake," he says.

Damien finds himself frowning, and his eyes narrowing. "It wasn't Ardana he was after, Tinania. It was you," he blurts. He shakes his head, brushing impatiently at the chunk of hair that falls into his eyes. "Just, please be careful," he says, not looking at her. He is ready for her to be angry with him, to not believe him. He knows it sounds crazy, but he had to warn her. It would sink in soon enough. He could only hope that, in any case. . . .

Krista walks over towards the later and bending down she places her hand in the water. Within minutes a mermaid with bright orange hair and a green tail appear, she smiles and with a wave of her hand the lake that was showing a bottom to it reveal a kingdom under the water. Krista smiles and looks to Rinon then motions over to Lenore "Come look..."

Tinania looks at him a bit shock, she didn't know what to say. She just looked down at the ground saking her head "Why me..I'm not special.." she was shaking "He knows how I feel about that type of magic..." she was angry. "I yelled at him when he said I should use it one you as a joke..." she stopped and covered her mouth "Mein, you know I would never do that to you.."

Rinon is already at Krista's side, staring in awe. He has never seen a mermaid before. . . .

Lenore shrugs, and walks over to the lake. She looks down and blinks. Despite herself, a faint smile is on her lips. "I wish I could go down there and visit," she says, more to herself than anything.

"He obviously thinks he cares about you," Damien starts. "But it takes a great lack of respect for an individual to do that sort of thing. I just thought you should know. . . " he pauses at as her last sentence plays in his mind, and he finds himself growing a little angry at Duncan again. "I know, Tinania. I don't think you would ever do that to me. Even by some ghost of a chance you ever felt anything for me," he chuckles a little at the last statement, thinking it a ridiculous idea.

Krista smiles and steps back as she wonders around the garden. This was only her second time around the place. She leans down and smiles the flower before turning back to them. "We're the second group of people who have ever seen this place. Am I right Daire?" Daire nods and smiles "Yes this place isn't often shown to anyone outside this garden....." Krista takes a seat on a rock and flexes her feet.

Tinania arches a brow wondering why he was laughing. Her hands were on her hips "What so funny Mein?" she didn't understand why he was chucking, didn't he know she always liked him. Even though they were like brother and sister, they weren't blood unless it was something she didn't know.

Lenore is still to intent on watching the little kindom.

Rinon grins. "I'm happy to be experiencing this with you, then," he says. "It really is a beautiful place. But, I wonder, would everyone here mind if we held the wedding here? More people would know where it is. . . ."

Damien stops chuckling and looks at Tinania, confused. "I mean, Nani," he pauses, smiling a little, in a bewildered manner. "I don't think there is a chance that you would feel anything for me. We are too like family, you and I. That's just. . . . amusing to me. That Duncan would even assume such a thing."

Daire smiles and was about to speak but someone else spoke up first "I have to talked to your soon to be wife. And I have agreed with her that you can have it, but it must be family. Nothing more. The people of Emerald Haven should know about this place. Its a safe place, for only good can get here..." a woman that looked like a deer and human step out from the shadows "I am Finona, the guardian of this place, and keeper to the ground around this place...Welcome to Forest Garden and Mermaid Lake..."

Krista smiles looking at Rinon "That won't be a problem would it, a small wedding?" she lays her head on his shoulder looking at him very hopeful.

Tinania didn't know what to say, she touched her butterfly necklace and laughed alittle "Yea...your right it does sound kind of stupid doesn't it....." she looked away and smiles blinking her eyes "I mean I've only known you forever and always thought you were perfect, and I mean even now...." she shook her head "I feel really stupid now..." she looks at him "I'm sorry..." she turns and starts heading back towards the bookstore.

Rinon nods. "Of course," he answers, smiling down at Krista.

Lenore looks around, her eyes resting on the new woman a moment. She raises an eyebrow, before returning to wandering around.

Damien follows her. "Tinania," he says, softly. "I'm sorry, but you are confusing me. I didn't mean to hurt you. I don't know what you want from me, or what you expect from me, I should say. And, I really don't know what you are trying to tell me. . . ."

Krista smiles and looks to Finona then back at Rinon "Well then I'll let you talk to her Rinon. Since you want to help out with the wedding, you can talk to her..." she kisses his cheek and before he can say anything else, she wonders over to Lenore "Isn't this a great place? Everything here makes you wish to stay forever..."

Tinania shakes her head "Mein, its like nothing really....I'm sorry I confused you, I'm sorry I brought it up okay..." she turns and looks at him "I guess we should head home. Its getting late..." she looked away blinking and breathing slowly, she couldn't say it, because she knew she freak him out, so she kept her mouth shut.

"Er," Rinon starts. "So, do you have any suggestions on where the alter should be?" he asks, smiling a little uncomfortably.

"Yeah, it makes me want to stay," Lenore starts. "But, I can't. I need to get home." she smiles a little at Krista. "The wedding is going to be wonderful," she says, and starts for the gate.

"Are you going to cry?" Damien asks, a little worried. "Look, Nani, we never keep secrets, or so I thought. What's up?"

Finona smiles and points towards the waterfall "Well the alter can be place right there, if you want it to be the center of thr wedding...." she nods to a few faries as they fly by. She glances back at him "Anything you want to happen we can make it happen here. Just ask....."

Krista nods to Lenore and watches her leave, she sits on the rock again looking around, she hums to herself pulling her hair up into a ponytail, she looks over at Rinon and Finona giggling. She had hope that this could help Rinon out. Living on this estate would mean seeing people like Finona all the time, sometimes maybe worse.

Tinania looks at him and bites her lip, she closes her eyes and opens them "You want to know what up. Since the first day I got to cuddle next to you when you were reading me a story. I often wonder if now it will be the same Damien. If you hadn't notice I'm not a little girl anymore. I'm grown just like you. And well I don't see you as a brother anymore..." she pause and looks him dead in the eyes "I see you as someone I could love, Like Rinon loves my mother, or both your mothers." she turns away and shakes her head "And now your going to freak out on me...and I just might have changed everything...I'll go back to help Ducan and Celia..." she turns again and heads toward the bookstore once more.

"The waterfall seems good," he says, glancing over at Krista, and watches his sister walk out, before turning back to Finona. "Maybe something along the lines of the gate? With white roses?" Rinon suggests. "And a nice, grassy path to it, with fairies dancing along the edges of the bath? I wouldn't want to ask them to do anything they were not willing to do, though," he adds.

Damien cuts her off. "You're going to walk away from me, after you have said that, and not let me say anything?" he asks. "Nani, I won't lie to you. Love is the farthest thing from my mind right now. Flirting, courting, marriage, all of that, is very far from my mind. But, I am not ruling it out. Maybe, one day, something could happen. But, not right now. . . ." he says, looking away from her. "You are still, very much, like family to me. My baby cousin," he absently runs his fingers through his hair, pulling some of it out of the band securing it in a ponytail. He looks a little disheveled, and more than a little uncomfortable. He's notsure he is saying the right thing. "I just . . . can't handle anything more than friends right now. . . ."

Finona waves her hands and some of the faries fly over, she repeats the question back to them in there language. They giggles and nods to her before flying off. Finona turns to Rinon "That will not be a problem. The faries will do it, everything will be ready. Now you just need to tell us when so we will have it all ready for you...."

Krista had closed her eyes and lean back against the grass, she was so comforable she could fall asleep right weher she was, she open her eyes and looked up at the branches above her thinking. She lifts her hands up above her head and giggles.

Tinania looks at him "I'm sorry I brought it up Mien...I won't again. I should be focusing on other things anyways. I hope this doesn't change things between us, but somehow I know it will. I should have just kepted quite. Again I am sorry..." she curties to him before pulling her hood over her face.

Ducan and Celia walk up. Ducan stands next to Tinania "You okay Nia?" she nods not saying a word and Ducan hugs her giving Damien she smirk over her shoulder. He steps back and smiles "How about we go get some coffee, my treat..." Tinania looked at him, then back at Celia and Damien not sure what to say at all. "Uh....."

"I think that question will need to be directed toward my future wife," Rinon says, smiling as he looks over at Krista.

Damien's eyes narrow again at Duncan when he smirks at him. "I think I am going to go home. I don't much like the company," he says, his eyes lingering on Duncan. "Nani, nothing has changed. I will see you at home." With that, he turns and starts back toward the manor.
"Unless, you would like me to escort you home," he adds, turning his head to look back at her.

Krista looks over at Rinon and smirks waving from her spot in the grass. "I was thinking the end of Spring, that would be perfect. The leaves are green, the flowers are in full bloom. Plus still gives us plently of time." she sits up "Course if you have another date in mind Rinon..." she picks a leaf out of her hair and twirls it between two fingers.

Tinania looks back at Damien, she knew if she went with Ducan this could start a problem. She looks back at Ducan "Maybe another time Ducan okay?" she leans up press her hand on his cheek and taps it before turning to Celia. "I'll see you later okay..." Celia nods and smiles and watches as Tinania walks back towards Damien. Celia turns to look at Ducan who had a huge look of anger directed at Damien "I told you, you'll always be second..." with that she turned and heading towards the coffee shop.

Tinania stop when she was standing right next to Damien, she looks at him and smiles "Please...I think I need to get home and think for a very long time..."

"No, the end of spring sounds nice," Rinon says. "Maybe at night?" he suggests.

Partly to infuriate Duncan more, and partly to show Tinania, and himself, that things have not changed, Damien takes Tinania's hand. "I will get you home, and leave you to your thoughts," he says, smiling down at her a little.

Krista stood and smiles "Yes a night wedding would be great..." she walks over and wraps her arms around Rinon's waist. Finona smiles and nods "Alright its settled then. I will be keeping in touch with you through Daire...For now, you must go, seem she is getting tired..." Krista shakes her head and yawns "No I'm not...." she blushes then hides her face in Rinon's shirt.

Tinania looks at Damien and smiles squeezing his hand. She glances back toward Ducan who still looked angry as he turned away. She turns back to Damien looking at him, she never seen him get angry and knew she didn't like it. She kept quite as she ran her other hand along her butterfly necklace. She then looks back at Damien "Why do I have this feeling you and Ducan are never going to be on good terms again, this is all my fault. Maybe I should just go back to stay with grandmother..." she looks down at the ground.

"Yes you are," Rinon says, kissing the top of her head. "Let's get back to the manor. I'll tuck you in, and then go and check on my mother," he adds.

Damien shakes his head, giving Tinania's hand a squeeze. "No, we won't be on good terms ever. But, this is not your fault. Some people are just not meant to like each other. Duncan and I, on a very basic level, just do not see eye to eye. And for that, not because of anything you have done, I dislike him."

Krista smiles and nibbles the end of Rinon's ear and whisper "Promise to come back...." she prrs alittle then pulls away looking at him. Finona nods disappearing back into the depths of the garden. Daire follows them out of the garden and turns to close the gates. He looks back at them "Come on we must keep moving, its growing darker..." he looks at them and smiles "Come on hop onto my back, I'll be able to get you home faster..."

Tinania didn't say anything at first, she was just quite. She didn't know what to say, everyting she said tonight has come back and smacked her. She laughs at herself and sighs "If you say so Mien..." she pokes him then runs ahead of him alittle only to look back.

Rinon nods, and goes to help Krista get on, if she allows it.

Damien watches, with a smile, as Tinania runs ahead of him. His long legs move faster, so as to keep her withing reaching distance, and his eyes sweep over the streets. He has a protective streak in him with it comes to Tinania, and he will not allow something to happen to he, especially while he is around.

Krista with Rinon help climbs onto Daire's back, she rubs her eyes and shake her head. "Thanks Daire." she looks over at Rinon and holds her hand out to him.

Tinaia shakes her head "Mein your way too proective sometimes you know that..." she giggles and runs again "Catch me if you can Mein..." she looks over her shoulder and laughs. She will not think about it tonight but she knew later on, the events of tonight would get to her. She'll deal with it when it happens, right now she wanted to have fun.

Rion climbs onto Daire's back, with the help of Krista. He settles in for the trip home.

Shaking his head, Damien only lengthens his stride as he follows Tinania back to the manor.

Krista settled back against Rinon as Daire took off towards the homes. Krista eyes closed and she sighed running her finger lightly along Rinon leg.

Tinania reaches the door of the manor, she turns and looks at Damien "Ha beat ya..." she pretends to show off and poses.

Rinon's arms circle protectively around Krista, and his finger stokes her arm. He keeps his eyes open, so that he is aware of his surroundings. He'll wake up Krista, if she falls asleep, when they reach the manor, or the edge of the forest, wherever Daire is dropping them off.

Damien smiles, a full one. "So you have, Tinania," he says. "I guess that means you deserve a prize of some sort. What would you like? A cup of tea? Cookies?" he suggests.

Daire reaches the edge of the forest and stops "This is as far as I will go. I cannot go much father. So this is where we shall part..." he glances at Rinon "Will she be okay..." Krista was indeed sleeping, she been busy all day she didn't even know how tired she was until she finally relaxes.

Tinania looks at Damien and bites her bottom lip. "Um...." she didn't even stop to think, she stepped closer to him and pressed her lips lightly against his. She lingered there for a second before pulling back. She smiles alittle before biting her lip again "Um I'm going to head to bed...." she turns and opens the door and steps inside heading for the stairs rather quickly.

"She should be," Rinon says, sliding off of Daire's back. He lifts Krista into his arms and smiles at Daire. "I'll just get her to bed. Thank you," he adds.

Damien blinks after Tinania, touching his lips and frowning. He shakes his head, and closes the door behind him, before going to his own room.

Daire nods "Rest well mi'lord.." with that he turns and heads back into the forest. Krista moves alittle and lays her head agianst his chest content.

Tinania sat in her room shaking her head "That was so foolish..." she frowns and crawls into bed and looks at her stuff plushie, she frowns and blink really quickly before just laying there not sleeping just looking at herself in the mirror on the wall.

Rinon heads to the Manor, careful not to wake Krista. Once inside, her hurries her up to her room, and tucks her in. Smiling a moment, he turns and quietly closes the door behind him.

When Damien enters his room, he locks the door. Pausing a moment, he shakes his head again, and strides over to his desk. He sits in front of it, pulls out his journal, and begins to write.

Quote:
Rhiannon: Rhiannon slid out of the tree she had been clambering around in, scratching her bare legs a little as she climbed down. She adjusted her top, pulling on her denim shorts and flopped down on the grass near the edge of the woods. She could just see her house from here, and she sunbathed, yawning sleepily under the warm rays.

Damien: Damien strolls toward the familiar home. He has on a wide-brimmed hat, that somehow seems to look not a bit ridiculous on him, and his long cape. He needs to protect his fair skin from burning, after all. Tugging the brim down a bit against the wind, his long hair flapping behind him, he looks down at the path he is currently walking.

So lost in watching the gravel, and everything else on the path, Damien almost runs into the front door. Taking a big step back, he raises a fist to knock.

Rhiannon: Rhiannon jumped up, strolling back to the house. She was thirsty, and she brushed grass from her butt as she walked.
'Err hello?' she said, tucking her hair behind her ears and looking at the teenager standing at her front door.

Damien: Damien looks at Rhiannon a moment, before offering his usual, small smile. "Hell, Rhiannon," he says, waving a little. "I hope I am not interrupting anything. I could come back if you are busy. . . ."

Rhiannon: 'Damien?' she asked, walking around him. He was...tall, and from what she could see under the hat and cape, cute!

Damien: "One and the same," he replies. It would take some getting used to to remember that he had a sudden growth spurt, even if his hair had been growing out for a long time.

He removes his hat, and absently runs his fingers through his hair, which is out of the customary ponytail for the day. "I'd hoped that perhaps we could. . . ." Damien pauses, as though trying to think of the proper wording. "Hang out, as they say," he ends.

Rhiannon: She squealed, happy that her friend was of a similar age to him and flung her arms around him, hugging him tightly;
'You look so good!' she giggled, kinda forgetting that he would probably not be used to young women in teeny tops and shorts flinging themselves at him.

Damien: Despite his blushing, and his being a bit caught off guard, Damien manages to return the hug. "Thank you," he says, willing the blush down. Apparently, he inherited that trait from Lenore. "And you look, different. I am sure I can see your tattoo without any help in that," he says this with good humor, not with critisism. Of course, Damien does not mind what Rhiannon is wearing at all.

Rhiannon: She let him go, smiling and giving a little twirl.
'Sati keeps telling me I have nice enough legs to show off. But I only dare wear this around the house and out in the garden and woods.' she looked at him, her head tilted a little.
'I love your hair,' she reached out and ran her fiingers through it.

Damien: "Sati is correct," Damien blurts. He doesn't notice that that sort of comment could get him in trouble with some people. After all, his hormones have just immerged, and quite frankly, he has no idea about them, anyway.

But, he is blushing again at the compliment. "Thank you, again, Rhiannon," he says, letting her mess with his hair. "So," he starts, clasping his hands behind his back. "You were climbing trees, or hiking?" he asks, assuming she was doing something of that nature from her description of her attire.

Rhiannon: 'I was climbing our big, old oak tree. But got bored up there, and started working on my tan some more,' she pointed a leg at him, pleased that he liked how she looked.
'But I was coming in for a drink and to change into my two-piece,' she tugged up the bottom of one of her short legs.
'See? Its paler. I dont want tan lines that far down!' she grinned.

Damien: Damien's eyes seem to widen a bit, and he tugs on the collar of his shirt descreetly. "Well, we can't have that," he says, rather softly. "But, I thought you looked alright without the tan," he adds, glancing down at her leg again.

Shaking his head, he turns away. "Well, if you still wanted to sunbathe, you could get the two piece. I will just . . . climb a tree. We can still catch up. . . ."
Rhiannon: 'I can climb the tree in my suit!' she nodded.
'I did it naked before. I'll just go change - be right back! Oh and I'll grabs soda's too! Go sit on the grass,' she waved at him, disappearing inside and laughing out loud to herself when she realised what her run away mouth had said. Oh well...

Damien: Damien is crimson as he starts to walk over to the area Rhiannon waved her hand in. He plops down, discarding his cap as he does so, and folding it neatly at his side. He sets the hat on top of it, and crosses his legs indian style. The heat starts to get to him before too long, despite the shade the tree is providing him with. He unbuttons the first few buttons of his shirt as he sits and waits

Rhiannon: Rhiannon changed quickly and came walking over from the house carrying two soda cans. Her suit was a triangle cut two piece in red material - her mother had seen her and told her she wasnt to do any running in the thing unless she wanted Damien to fall over. Rhiannon didnt quite get that, but thought it had something to do with her breasts - which wasnt fair as guys got to go around topless all the time! She sat down next to him, kneeling on the grass.
'Not too hot here?' she asked, noticing his slightly unbuttoned shirt.

Damien: Damien looks over at Rhiannon, eye trained on her face. "Oh, not terribly. I am afraid I didn't wear my summer cloth today," he says, smiling his small smile at her. "Thick cotton and sun don't mix too well." In truth, he had been contemplating just taking the whole shirt off, but that seemed improper.

"Anyway," he starts. "How have things been around here? Everything been quiet?"

Rhiannon: 'Take it off then,' she said, sitting down properly and stretching her legs in front of her. She wriggled her toes into the grass near Damien.
'Hmm - It has been yeah. Cyrus came round like a week ago, and I've just been hanging out in the woods exploring whilst the weather is good since then.'

Damien: "It's not proper," Damien says, speaking of him taking off his shirt.

"Oh, how has Cyrus been? It seems like it has been ages since I last saw him. . . ." Damien asks. He then smiles a bit again. "You'd love the Emerald Forest. All sorts of places to explore, really. Small villages, strange animals," he explains.

Rhiannon: 'Why is not proper?' she wrinkled her nose a little.
'Your hot- and uncomfortable. I dont care if you take it off and I'm the only one around.' she chuckled.
'Ahh he's ok. I kissed him, so he's probably going to avoid me for ages.' she grinned.
'That sounds great. You'll have to show it to me someday.'

Damien: "It's still considered undressing before a lady," Damien shrugs. He didn't make up the rules, they were imprinted on him, it seems, from birth.

He raises an eyebrow and looks over at Rhiannon again. "Why would he avoid you over a simple kiss?" he asks. "People kiss all of the time," of course, he is not referring to the romantic sense. He just thinks Rhiannon is speaking of a peck on the cheek, or something like that.

"Well, whenever you want to see it, just say so, and I will take you to my home," Damien smiles. "You'd like the centaurs, I think. There are some darker elements in the forest, though, as in all forests," he sighs, hating the idea of any fighting at all. . . .

Rhiannon: 'Because Cyrus is Cyrus. He told me that he wasnt thinking about anyone romantically yet. I did kiss him on the lips after all,' she smiled at the memory.
'Undressing before a lady?' she fell back on the grass and laughed at that.
'Damien do I even look like a lady to you?' she sat up again, wiping at her face, adjusting her top where she was in danger of..exposing herself.
'Seriously...thats just - silly.'

Damien: Damien blinks. "Still," he says, waving that off. "Everyone has to have a first kiss sometime," he thinks back to Tinania, and the little peck she gave his lips before running away. Shaking his head again, he lifts an eyebrow again.

"Very well," he says, smiling fully this time. "Since you seem intent on disrobing me," he unbuttons his shirt, but he does not take it off. He merely leans back on his hands.

Rhiannon: She blushed faintly at that idea, a little naughty image skittering through her mind;
'Err well it wasnt my first kiss,' she admitted, moving to sit along side him, leaning agains the tree trunk.

Damien: "It wasn't?" Damien asks, looking at Rhiannon out of the corner of his eye.

Rhiannon: She shook her head, idly wondering what kissing Damien would be like. She pushed the idea away for now - he was her friend after all. Jumping on him probably wasnt a good idea; but he did look really good...my god! she thought. What is wrong with me?
'Nope. I've kissed ..someone. A few times.' she said evasively.

Damien: Damien nods, not one to press. "Well, I hope they were better experiences than the one you had with Cyrus," he says. He glances at Rhiannon again, trying to keep his eyes off of her provocative outfit at the moment. Best not have a cloudy mind when serious matters are being discussed. Well, serious to some, he should amend, this discussion. He finds himself wondering if he should tell Rhiannon about the kiss Tinania gave him. . . .

Rhiannon: 'It was all good,' she winked at him, and nudged him.
'So have you..y'know. Had your first kiss?' she touched him lightly on the arm.

Damien: "That's good to hear," Damien says. Then, he shrugs. "Not really. It was a peck," he found himself saying. "And it was not returned," he adds. Sighing, he turns his head to look at Rhiannon fully now. "Tinania kisses me," he admits. "Just, don't say anything, please? I'd rather her not know I told you."

Rhiannon: 'I wouldnt.' she said, moving her hand from his arm and poking him lightly on the end of his nose.
'So serious. You didnt kiss her back? How come?' she enquired gently.

Damien: "Because, I don't think of her in that way," Damien admits. "All my life, she has been my baby cousin. I'm not saying that I could never feel that way about her," he adds. "But, just not at this point," as a delayed reaction, he scrunches his nose up to the poke. "I told her I couldn't think of her as more than a friend right now. I think I really hurt her. She might be avoiding me," he smiles slightly. "Maybe that is why your situation with Cyrus struck a chord?"

Rhiannon: 'Ahh I see,' she raised an eyebrow.
'I dont know,' she teased.
'You boys. So serious about something thats supposed to be fun.' she brushed her fingers through his long hair again. It must be the heat..or the lunar time of the month, but she was finding herself attracted to him.

Damien: Damien chuckles. "Mine and Nani's situation is quite different from yours and Cyrus's, I think. When you grow up as family, it is hard to just turn that off," he allows Rhiannon to run her fingers through his hair again. It is quite soothing, actually. He's sure if she kept it up, he'd find himself closing his eyes. "I do agree that, yes, it should be fun. It's just no fun when you are hurting people," he sighs again.

Rhiannon: 'You should tell her. Be honest with her about why you didnt return the kiss.' she smiled, watching the strands of his hair sliding over her fingers.
'I bet she would understand. I only kissed Cyrus because I wanted to see what it was like to kiss him. I do understand really why he acts the way he does. I just like...going with my feelings.'

Damien: "I did," Damien says, his heavy-lidded eyes closing slowly. "We'll get over it, I think."

When his eyes are closed, he chuckles. "I admire that about you, Rhiannon. That you just go with your feelings," he says. "Cyrus will get over what happened, eventually, as well. And, who knows? If there is a next time, he might not freak out so much."

Rhiannon: 'Maybe. It depends if there is a next time.' she said, shifting her legs as they were beginning to fall asleep. Her foot knocked against Damien's leg.
'Sorry,' she grinned, still stroking his hair.
'Sleepyhead,' she teased softly.

Damien: "There might be," Damien says, absently waving off the appology. The grins now, and adds, "I am not sleepy, I am completely relaxed. And it is because you are playing with my hair. When I decided to let it grow, I never thought it would bring this benefit. Almost like a massage, I would imagine."
Rhiannon: 'Well...I wouldnt know about that.' she smiled, her cheeks colouring.
'Your the first guy thats let me do this. I couldnt even begin to know how to massage someone.'
That sounded completely wrong in her head.
'Umm well y'know. You have nice hair and I like...doing that and sitting her with you.'

Damien: "Mum said that massages are great," he replies, not even thinking on the implications of what her comment could mean. "Well, I like what your doing, and sitting here with you as well. In short, ditto," he chuckles again. "I don't know, I just don't feel shy around you. Then again, when we had play dates and such, I don't think you ever really let me," Damien says.

Rhiannon: She blushed;
'No point being shy. I learned that stuff just slips you by if you dont grab it.' her hand left his hair and rested on his shoulder. She could just lean in now and..but then he'd probably react as he did to Tinania and she didnt want him to leave just because she couldnt control her animalistic side.

Damien: Damien opens his eyes a moment after her hand rests on his shoulder. Blinking a little, he turns his head, and looks over at Rhiannon. He doesn't move, just simply looks into her eyes. He nods a little. "I agree with you, there. I have missed too much becuase of that," he says. Indeed, he has a small circle of friends, most of whom he rarely sees, because of his shy nature.

His train of thought goes a completely different direction as his eyes remained lock. He never really noticed how pretty Rhiannon's eyes were. Of course, that thought brings a blush to his cheeks, and the tips of his pointed ears. But, he still doesn't look away.

Rhiannon: She lowered her eyes a little when Damien looked right at her - and an argument started up in her mind..do it! He's inviting you, that treacherous part of her that made her kiss Cyrus. No, said the sensible part of her. He's your friend and;
'But I like you as you are anyways,' she mumbled, and she leaned in, her free hand going to his face, her lips softly pressing on his.

Damien: Damien feels the heat rise to his cheeks and ears again, yet he, for some reason or another, doesn't pull away. HIs clouded mind has enough time to register that he has no friggin idea what to do ina situation like this. That is moments before one of his hands grows a mind of its own. It snakes around to the nape of Rhiannon's neck, his fingers running into the hair there.

He returns the soft press of lips, notknowing to do anything else.

Rhiannon: Rhiannon almost became the one that ran away. She'd kissed a guy! And he hadnt thought she was giving him cooties or something. Which was a new experience for her. She deepened the kiss unconsciously as he stroked through her hair, her lips moving with his with practised ease and she pressed herself against him.

Damien: He doesn't know how, as his brain has shut down, but his other arm snakes around Rhiannon's waist, his hand going to rest on the small of her back. He pulls her a bit closer, letting instinct take over completely.

At this point, had his brain been online, Damien would have been sure he couldn't be the one to pull away from the kiss. Even though every sense of honor he has would be screaming at him, telling him that he probably should.

Rhiannon: As it happened, pulling her closer left her seated on his lap, and Rhiannon gently broke away, nuzzling her nose against his;
'Well..' she mumbled, her hand going into the ends of his hair again. She wasnt really sure what to say...but she had really liked it.

Damien: It takes a moment for his brain to reboot. His eyes are still closed several moment after this kiss had ended. When he opens them, they rest on Rhiannon's. And, he is smiling. Damien's fingers are still playing with Rhiannon's hair, and his other arm has not moved.

"Very well put," he manages to say, and closes his eyes again. He feels just a bit guilty, as though he should appologize, but for what? Anyway, he liked it as well. There is no reason he should feel guilty.

Rhiannon: She laughed;
'Well my head is a little fuzzy now.'
He didnt seem to care that she was still sitting on him, and she didnt want to move right now.
'You sure you havent kissed more girls?' she asked, winking.
'You're really good.'

Damien: "My head is the same way," Damien laughs a little. "And, you lie," he adds. "I am sure, that's why I know you are lying." Then, unconciously mimicking her, he winks for perhaps the first tim in his life. "You weren't bad, yourself, Rhiannon," he adds.

Maybe Rhiannon had the right idea about this kissing thing. It is really just supposed to be fun at first. And, if she kissed Cyrus like that, he was just insane to have run away.

Rhiannon: 'You were very good,' she poked him on his bare chest, blushing. She leaned in again and brushed her lips against his softly, pulling back before she got carried away again.
'I could do that all day,' she confessed, tugging on a strand of her hair and giggling.

Damien: Damien blinks, not entirely sure how to answer her. So, he is honest. "As could I," he admits after the second, more brief, press of her lips. Who knew? All those movies he had watched with Nyoka might have had it right.

He reaches up and brushes some of the hair out of her face. He tilts his head to the side, the slight smile on his lips again. "You really are very pretty," he mumbles.

Rhiannon: 'I dont think I'm that pretty,' Rhiannon mumbled, her head tilting so that her cheek brushed along his hand.
'Someone that looks like you do; you could get so many prettier girls kissing you.'

Damien: Damien blinks again, again caught off guard by the last comment. "Rhiannon," he starts. "You are pretty. Don't think that of yourself." He shakes his head a little, smiling a bit again. "I think that might be the curse of strong women. Being strong defines them, so they don't think there is any room for being beautiful." Obviously, he's had this conversation before. He reaches up and lightly goes to poke Rhiannon's nose. "As for me," he shrugs. "It's the elven blood," he chuckles softly.

Rhiannon: 'Oh elven blood huh? Maybe I need some of that in me,' she grinned.
'You think I'm strong?' she blushed, hiding her face with her hands - but peeking through the gaps in her fingers to look at him.

Damien: Damien merely shakes his head at the first comment. After a moment's pause, he nods the affirmative to her. "One of two that I know. In my opinion, you could handle anything that was sent your way," he shrugs slightly again.

Rhiannon: She dropped her hands from her face, one of them sliding into his hair again (she loved the reaction she got from running her fingers through it), and the other traced a tiny circle on his chest under his open shirt.
'I think I can handle most things..' she smiled softly.
Except of course this sudden odd attraction for someone who had until now just been a great friend.

Damien: His heavy lidded eyes seem to droop a little as a knee-jerk reaction to Rhiannon's fingers in his hair again. Damien's muscles tense a little when he feels her touch on his chest, but he soon relaxes again. He nods at her last statement. "As I assumed you could. Better to handle things than run away from them, in any case," he says. He is, though, unaware of how he can carry on a conversation as he is when she's thoroughly relaxing him again.

Rhiannon: She giggled, shifting slightly on his lap;
'I'm not squashing you am I?' she asked, her fingers tangled in the strands of his hair. She wasnt real sure if she should stay on his lap much longer. Damien was starting to look...kind of delicous. This must be that animal attraction thing Kate had warned her about. The closer to the full moon, the more wanton she would become.

Damien: He lifts a brow, and seems to look as though it just hit him that she is still in his lap. He blinks twice before answering. His usual small smile appears on his lips as he says, "No, you are not. But, if I am uncomfortable to you, it wouldn't hurt my feelings if you moved." He's a thin boy, he's not unsure of his bones can be felt when seated . . . well, on him.

He just wishes she wouldn't have shifted quite the way she did. . . . He's got a slight tingling sensation in his gut now. . . .

Rhiannon: 'No you are perfectly comfortable,' she giggled, sitting still again.
'I was just...curious.' and she flung her arms around him, staring up and into his eyes.
'Damien do you like me?' she asked, her voice light and airy in tone as if the question wasnt as serious as it sounded.

Damien: Oh no, are the thoughts in his head. He does like Rhiannon, but this sort of question is very loaded, he would have been able to tell you that way before he had his growth spurt, and all those wierd things started happening to his body.

His aqua eye meet her green ones, and he runs through possible answers that wouldn't get him in trouble. He shifts a little in his seat, and absently runs his fingers over the small of his back as he thinks.

Finally, he decides on honesty, "I like you, Rhiannon," he replies, the smile forming more comfortably on his lips again.

Rhiannon: 'Thats good,' she grinned.
'I was going to tickle you if you didnt.'
She winked at him. Not wanting to push it - after all the strong approach hadnt worked so great with Cyrus, she decided to just interpret his liking her as she wanted and not ask him 'how' he liked her.

Damien: Damien's composure seems to falter a bit at the threat. He shakes his head. "No tickling, please?" he asks, his smile turned to a nervous one. He tugs lightly on the end of her hair. Of course, it is too late to take back his slip of one of his weaknesses.

Rhiannon: She grinned wider, showing her tiny pointed canines;
'Oh so what do I get for not tickling you?' she lazily closed her eyes as he tugged on her hair. It was kind of soothing.

MateKILLFeedRpt: "Uhm" he says articulately. "What do you want?" Damien asks, watching her.

Rhiannon: 'Oh dont worry,' she said, opening her eyes a little bit and tilting her head closer to his.
'It will be something you'll enjoy,' and she kissed him again.

Damien: Damien is suprised again. He returns the kiss, in his inexperienced way. Instincts take control again, and his arms snake around Rhiannon again.

Rhiannon: Rhi gently nibbles on Damiens bottom lip, remembering that she had liked that when it was done to herself and then kissed him again, savouring the feel of his mouth on hers. His scent intoxicates her, her sense of smell heightened by the close-ness of the new lunar phase and she growls softly, finally pulling away when she becomes breathless;
'Sorry,' she mumbled, embarrassed at how she had gotten carried away.

Damien: Damien's eyes open slowly. Every time Rhiannon moves, the tingling in his gut seems to grow. With a slight flush on his cheeks, he looks at her curiously. "Sorry? For what?"

Rhiannon: 'I thought I had gotten too carried away..' she looked at him.
'Did I go too far?' she asked tentatively.

Damien: Damien shakes his head. "I don't think you did, in any case," he says. "I'm not running, am I?" he adds, a bit of a good-natured twinkle in his eyes and a grin as he pokes fun at Cyrus's behavior.

He does find himself wondering how the heck they will act around each other when they see each other next. Will it be awkward, or will they just slip back into their old selves again? There's something to think on. . . .

Rhiannon: 'Well I am sitting on you,' she giggled.
'So I dont think you can run away.' she poked her tongue out at him, twirling the ends of his hair in her fingers.
'What are you thinking about?' she looked into his eyes, and poked the end of his nose lightly.

Damien: Damien chuckles. "I guess that's true," replies. He wiggles his nose at the poke, but merely shrugs at her question. "Nothing really. Sometimes, thoughts race too quickly in my mind for me to put them into words," he smiles again, and reaches up to tap Rhiannon's temple. "Unless you can read my mind, I won't be able to tell you." Of course, he is fibbing, just a little. But, fibbing well. He doesn't feel that his thoughts, at this moment, should be expressed.

Rhiannon: 'No I cant,' she wrinkled her face up at the idea.
'I wouldnt have asked otherwise.' she fell silent a moment.
'Maybe...I really should get off your lap I guess.'
Rhiannon pushed her bottom lip out in a pouty fashion at the thought.

Damien: Damien blinks a little. "If you want," he says, his brow furrowing now. "Did I say something?" he asks, tilting his head to the side a little.

Rhiannon: She shook her head;
'No no,' tugged lightly on his hair that she still had in her fingers.
'I just...I dont know if is this right - y'know. Because your my friend. Although we did kiss,' she giggled, then shrugged dramatically.
'I dont actually want to get off. But I read that...well like if a guy gets too - umm worked up,' she whispered.
'Stuff happens.' she nodded.

Damien: Damien blushes a little, and is determined to look at anything but Rhiannon. "I was actually thinking," she brought up part of it anyway, "how we would act when next we saw each other. If it would be awkward. I don't want that, but I don't regret anything that was done today."

Then, he blush deepens a little and he gives a slight cough, as though to clear his throat. "Erm . . . well. . . as long as you don't. . . . wiggle. . . ."

Rhiannon: 'I dont think it will be awkward,' she tilted her head to one side, regarding him thoughtfully.
'I mean we just kissed...a few times. Its not like we are married now or anything even.'
Rhiannon wondered why she couldnt wiggle;
'Wiggle?' and as she said that she moved her bottom slightly on his lap as she peered at him.
'Why should I not wiggle?'

Damien: Damien isn't even able to respond. The tingling sensation is in his guy again, and he moves his legs a little, shifting in his seat. He clears his throat again, and managed, in a voice that is cracking, "Rhiannon, please stop moving. . . ."

Rhiannon: Rhiannon still didnt quite get it and she shifted again. Then suddenly a blush spread across her cheeks as she finally did get it!
'Oh..my ..'
She slid quickly off Damien's lap.
'I'm so sorry, I really am Damien,' she curled up hiding her face. She was such an idiot! Now he would probably think she was...a sex maniac or something!

Damien: Damien is blushing again when she slides off his lap, and he automatically grabs the ends of his shirt and brings it over his lap, bending his knees a little. This is certainly a sort of first for him. "No - Rhiannon, it's fine." He would have been over by her, trying to comfort her, but he really can't move right now. Or, he doesn't trust himself to. He starts stuttering things like "It's a natural reaction" and such things.

Finally, he forces himself to take a calming breath. This is actually a little scary! "Rhiannon, don't blame yourself, really," he says, his voice one of calm now. Even if he wanted to run, he doesn't think he could. He couldn't even walk, in his thinking, in this state. What the heck was he supposed to do!

Rhiannon: 'Yeah they..those.. are natural..' she would not say 'erection'. Damien would probably skitter away as fast as his legs could carry him if she came out with a word like that.
'Would it help if I put on proper clothes?' she asked, pointing at her two-piece.

Damien: "I don't know," Damien admits. "I don't know what will help. . . ." hopelessly clueless - after all, he has only had hormones for a little over a week, and only woke with something like this one day out of that week - he shifts in his seat again. "Erm. . . . gods, this is very embarassing," he says, blushing again and managing a smile with it.

Rhiannon: 'Its ok...' she patted him on the shoulder.
'Its all my fault for being a wriggler,' she said, trying to cheer him up. She hugged him, and planted a kiss on his cheek.

Damien: Damien manages a smile, hoping if he takes his mind off of . . . it, it will go away. No such luck. Kisses and hugs just seem to fuel the thing. . . . he thinks as he pats Rhiannon's back. "Alright. If I have to blame someone, I'll blame you then," he says, his voice cracking a little again, though he does manage another smile. "At any rate, we'll just hope my body decides to get back to normal sometime soon."

Rhiannon: 'Okay,' she purred a little in his ear, and hugged him again before plonking back on the grass.
'I'm sure it will. You know,' and she pointed a finger out straight and then curled the finger downwards.

Damien: Vibrations at his sensitive ears. Not. Good. He blushes again at her little demonstration, and finds himself unexplicably wanting to say that he is quite bigger than a finger, but pushes that silly notion out of his mind. What does that matter at this point?! "I'll just think of really bad things," he suggests, chuckling at that. "Any ideas?"

Rhiannon: 'I...dont know.' she chuckled back.
'I dont have any expertise in that department. I guess I'm only good for making it -' she clapped a hand over her mouth before it ran away with her as usual.

Damien: "Making it what?" Damien asks, tilting his head a little to the side.

Rhiannon: Didnt he get what she meant? She felt the heat in her cheeks rise again.
'Making it,' and she used her finger again, flicking it up straight.

Damien: Damien nodded, getting her meaning again, and that almost irresistable urge to defend his size. "Well, if I were a lesser man, I would tell you not to wiggle on me again. . . ." then, he realizes what he just said, and his heavy-lidded eyes grow round, a blush on his cheeks again. "Nevermind, I didn't say that. . . " he says, smiling a bit sheepishly now.

Rhiannon: 'So I can wiggle on you again?' she teased, her eyes twinkling, her smile impish.
'Of course I wont. I mean. I can control myself.'
She could right?

Damien: Damien finds himeself grinning again. "I'm not good enough for lap wiggles anymore?" he asks, his aqua eyes twinkling again. He's so focused on teasing Rhi that his blood is circulating more properly again. "Oh, I take offense to that," he chuckles, not being able to hold up the mock-offense in his tone anymore.

Rhiannon: 'Bah,' she mumbled, but she was pleased he had actually enjoyed being sat on..and oh yes wriggled on. She squirmed a little on the grass, and fanned herself with a hand. The sun - yep that was it. The sun was making her warm. Her wolf ears slid out from her hair as her emotions squirrelled around inside of her.

Damien: "Bah?" Damien asks, his eyebrow raising. "What language is that?" he teases again, now able to lower his knees again. He shifts in the grass, sitting on his legs. He rests his hands on his thighs after he brushes his hair bahind his shoulder.

Rhiannon: Her ears folded back; he was teasing her now! Oh that wasnt right. She grinned inwardly. He was a quick learner though.
''Bah' is werewolf for 'Damien is going to get pounced on and tickled till he cant stand no more'!,' she grinned, wiggling her fingers at him and moving so that she was almost on him.

Damien: Damine feigns shock. "Can one little word really be a whole sentence?" he asks, leaning back. He is frightfully ticklish!

Rhiannon: 'Oh yes,' nodded Rhiannon, making advances with her hands towards his sides.

Damien: "I highly doubt it, my lady," Damien bows his head, and scoots back a little, still leaning back. "And, you can't tickle me. I am too strong for that. . . ."

Rhiannon: 'Are you so sure?' she giggled, still following after him.
'After all...I am very strong myself,' she flexed an arm for him.
'See?' she grinned.

Damien: "Yes, you are, but I am stronger. . ." Damien grins again, leaning forward this time. A sort of challenge is in his eyes now. Apparently, the time in Greece with Nyoka has had an effect on him at some times. Her competitive nature might have rubbed off some on him.

Rhiannon: 'Hah! Why do you think that? It better not be because you're a guy,' she poked her tongue out, her furred ears twitching at him.

Damien: "I am not a sexist," Damien scoffs at that. "I spent weeks with a city full of women who could snap me like a twig. And, they made me strong," he grins again. "Bring me your worst."

Rhiannon: 'Fine then!' she took him up on his challenge and pounced on him, putting her hands on his shoulders and trying to bowl him back on to the floor with her body weight.

Damien: He falls back, his head hitting the soft grass, his poor ears start to ring. He laughs though. "Is that the best you can do?" he teases again through his laughter.

Rhiannon: 'Nope!' she giggled, finding herself once more seated on him.
'I can do this,' and she leaned in, smooshing her body against him and kissing his nosetip. She pushed herself up again, her hands on the lawn either side of his head.
'I was always taught to fight with my strengths.'
She winked.

Damien: Damien closes his eyes when Rhi leans in. After the kiss, his eyes open. "You're fighting dirty," he says. He raises his hands and goes to find out if Rhiannon is ticklish.

Rhiannon: 'Well that too,' and she squealed as his fingers touched a sensitive spot on her side.
'Nuuuu,' she panted, rolling off of him.
'You - fight dirty too,' she managed.

Damien: "You~ started it," Damien teases again, grinning as he turns on his side, propping himself up on his elbow. "I told you," he starts, reaching over to poke her nose. "You may be strong, but I am stronger," he chuckles again.

Rhiannon: 'No you are sneakier,' she rolled over to look at him.
'There's a difference.'

Damien: "Well, sneakier and stronger, then," Damien replies. "You're just jealous of my sneaky powers," he pushes himself up into a sitting position. "You'll just have to take notes," he raises his eyebrow at her, still grinning.

Rhiannon: 'Yeah well.' she searched around for something that Damien didnt have.
'I have breasts!'

Damien: Damien blinks. "Do we really want to go there, Rhianon? I have something you don't have, too," he smiles, shaking his head.

Rhiannon: 'Well yes thats true.' she giggled, scooting over on the grass and putting an arm around Damien.
'Besides. Its more fun to make you blush then fight with you,' she rubbed her bare foot against his leg.
'Dont you think?'

Damien: Damien blinks, and gulps. "Well, you're very good at that," he admits. "You've got me beat so bad there, i don't think i could be capable of walking away," he shakes his head. "And, is very unfair."

Rhiannon: 'Well I'm sorry if I am making you uncomfortable,' Rhiannon looked at him slyly.
'I shall stop - sit a miiiile away from you so you can calm down. Hows that?' she asked, tilting her head as she looked at him.

Damien: "It's probably for the best," Damien smiles slightly. "But that doesn't mean you should do it." He sighs. "I think I am calming on my own. You could give me a minute. I don't know, maybe I can have a glass of water?" he grins now.

Rhiannon: 'What to drink or to pour on you?' she teased, getting up. She brushed grass from her butt as she walked away, padding in to her house and re-emerging again a few minutes later. She was wearing a pair of cut off denim shorts now and carried a glass of water with ice cubes clinking inside. Sitting down in front of him she grinned sheepishly;
'Mum made me put the shorts on,' she explained, holding out the glass.

Damien: It took some deep gulps of air once Rhiannon had walks away, but he was mostly back to normal now, and looking a bit more comfortable. He grins at her smile, and takes the glass. "Thank you," he says, and takes a long drink. "You still look good in those shorts . . ." his grin widens.

Then, he tilts his head to the side. "Rhiannon? I know for sure that your sister knows where the manor is, but have you ever been told the address?"

Rhiannon: She giggled, blushing at the compliment.
'Feeling ok now?' she asked, leaning in and brushing his hair from his face. She stroked his cheek a little and then sat back again as if she wasnt sure what she was doing. She shook her head at his question.
'Never.'

Damien: "Yes, I'm much better," his smiles is an easy one.

"Well, I suppose I should give you the address. Mum said I could give it to people I trusted, but not too many people," he says the address. "You just can't forget it, or you won't be able to find the manor. Now, you can visit whenever you want."

Rhiannon: Rhiannon said the address over and over in her head;
'I got it I think,' she chuckled.
'If I become so puddenheaded as to forget I can always ask my sister to take me,' she slid over to sit next to Damien again.
'Now. What was I doing? Oh yes...making you blush.'
She giggled;
'I guess I shouldnt really though,' she tapped her chin thoughtfully with a finger.
'I dont really want to go inside for a drink again. Mum might make me put on a t-shirt this time.'

Damien: "No, that would be a shame," Damien replies to the shirt comment, then blinks, a little shocked. He does, indeed blush. "Erm, but yes, your sister could always take you. . . . Ah, whenever you wanted to come. Maybe Nyoka would be there and they could talk or something. . . ." he tugs on a chunk of his hair. He slides his gaze over to Rhiannon, smiling again in what he hopes is a charming way

Rhiannon: She blushed again, wriggling her toes into the grass and she kinda nudged his side;
'Would you not want my sister to come with me or something?'
She was half tempted to ask why it would be a shame for her to cover her top half up again.

Damien: "Well, to be honest, it would be nice if you would come without a chaperone," Damien shrugs. "But, you could bring her if you wanted. That would be up to you, wouldn't it?"

Rhiannon: Rhiannon laughed out loud at that;
'Oh god you think she'd be a chaperone? No waaay. If Sati came along she'd be doing some oh so subtle winking and making comments.'
She curled an arm around his shoulders, running it under his hair.
'She might even bring toys,' she smirked.

Damien: Damien's heavy-lidded eyes widen a bit. "Toys? What do you mean by that?" he asks, confusion in his voice.

Rhiannon: 'Err - umm,' she looked at the sky. The floor. Her feet.
'Ummm....sextoys,' she managed to say - finally and quietly.

Damien: Damien is crimson now. "You need toys?" he asks, then shakes his head. "No, I probably don't want to know," he says, the blush spreading to his neck. "Erm, perhaps it is best that she not come?" he manages a smile.

Rhiannon: '... she showed me this one thing...'
And she really shouldnt be talking about this she realised.
'Yeah I think I'll just ask her to bring me and then go if I need her,' she nodded quickly.
'And I dont know!' she squeaked.
'I'm not some big expert just because I have actually kissed people.' she protested.

Damien: Damien blinks. "No!" he said, hastily. "I didn't mean to imply that, or to offend you!" he looks away from Rhiannon. "I was just curious why anyone would need toys. . . . I mean, I don't even know what those toys are or anything. . . ." he trails off, looking off at a distant tree.

Rhiannon: 'Well I only know what Sati told me - and I think your head might explode if I told you that much,' she giggled. Hugging him with the arm still around him she leaned her head on his shoulder.
'You didnt offend me. Sometimes I just feel like I'm being too forward or something. No one else seems to be doing what I do.' she mumbled a little.
'Thats all.'

Damien: Damien sighs, a little relieved, and rests his head on hers, snaking an arm around her. "You're just more mature than the rest of us," he teases. "We can't keep up. You'll just have to school us." He squeezes her in his hug a little. "You aren't being forward. It isn't your fault, really. Knowledge is power, anyway. . . ."

Rhiannon: 'School all of you? Isnt that like an orgy or something?' she giggled, her heart doing that silly fluttery thing when Damien rested against and hugged her. What was up with her anyways? She liked Cyrus didnt she? And Damien was her friend...who she had kissed - alot. And really liked it. She sighed a little.

Damien: Damien searches his vocabulary for the word. The defninition comes to him, suddenly, and he has to chuckle. "Well, if that is how you want to teach us," he says through his chuckle, nuzzling his cheek into her hair a bit. "I meant with words, rather than actions."

Rhiannon: 'Err well no - I dont think that would be a good idea.'
She felt a tiny shiver go along her spine when he nuzzled her.
'Yes well - like I said, Cyrus isnt the most receptive. I'm not sure where I stand with Bronwen. Stuff is tricky. But I like her better now then I did.'
she said, remembering how Bronwen had backed her up when Cyrus had been nagging her for leaving the house when she was injured.
'Plus I dont think anyones parents would be too happy if I started up kissing n stuff lessons. Do you?' she chuckled at the thought.

Damien: Damien feels a tinge of . . . something, when Cyrus is mentioned again. He brushes it aside. An unfamiliar emotion is something he hasn't the time to discect right now. "Well, I know my mums are a bit more open about that sort of thing, anyway. I can't speak for anyone else's parents," he chuckles. "But, they couldn't ask for a better teacher."

Rhiannon: 'Damien...' she muttered softly.
Why was he making this so hard for her? She just wanted to think of him as a friend right now - Cyrus..and Kate...he was a good friend. But the kissing. She pressed her fingers to her lips.
'You want to see the small lake in the woods?' she said suddenly, changing the subject abruptly.

Damien: "Sure," Damien says, going with the flow. "Are there fish in it?" he asks, smiling again.

Rhiannon: 'I dont think so. Its fed by a small waterfall. Its good for skinny dipping,' she said casually, getting to her feet and slipping past a tree, standing on what looked like a faint worn dirt track on the ground.
'And I've never been bit on the butt by one,' she winked at him over her shoulder.

Damien: Damien's eyes widen again as he stands. "Skinny dipping? If we go swiming, you aren't going to make me . . . strip, are you?" he asks, walking toward her.

Rhiannon: She waited for him to catch up, leaned in and lightly brushed her lips against his cheek.
'I would never make you do anything you didnt want to,' she said solemnly. Then she grabbed his hand, grinning and tugging him towards her, following the path, all light humoured again.
'C'mon lets go! You'll like it. Its shady and really pretty.'

Damien: Damien nods, eyeing Rhiannon after she gives him another kiss. He strides on his long legs to keep up. "I'm sure I will," he replies. "It sounds rather charming," he looks around as he walks, taking in the sights

Rhiannon: She led him along a winding way between trees and bushes. The woods opened up slighty as they emerged in a clearing. She skirted the open area, staying in the cool, green shade, and walked over to where the woods turned into a hill. The sound of falling water could be heard now and she led him through another small cluster of trees. Pushing past them they were stood on the edge of a small lake. The trees grew around and up the hill, what sun filtered through was dappled for the most. Water cascaded down the grey stone of the hill into the narrower end of the lake, fed from a far flowing river. She splashed into the shallows.
'See? Its really secluded as well,' she grinned at him.

Damien: Damien looks at the lake, and Rhiannon splashing in it. Grinning, he actually shrugs out of his shirt. He steps gingerly into the lake. He playfully splashes some water at Rhianon. "It's really nice. I love it, actually," he says.

Rhiannon: She giggled, walking out to tug her shorts off and then splashed back in;
'You took your shirt off!' she waggled a finger. Okaay - control Rhiannon.Growing up is all about control and not jumping your guy friend because he took off his shirt, is wet and looks really fine. She splashed him back, grinning at him.

Damien: Damien tries to shield himself from the water, laughing now. "Well, I don't want to ruin all of my clothes, right?" He splashes at her again. "Besides, you're swiming around in what you are. . . ." he adds, trying not to look at her too much.

Rhiannon: She poked her tongue out at him;
'You're gonna get completely soaked,' she said playfully, scooping up water and sending it his way.
'Yeah but this is a swimsuit!' she giggled.

Damien: "Well, I am not stripping. You aren't naked, after all," Damien laughs again, ducking under the water. He swims toward Rhiannon and plashes up next to her. "And I haven't any swim trunks with me.
"
Rhiannon: 'Oh I see,' she kicked her feet lazily, heading out into deeper water.
'I'm supposed to get naked now? For you to take off more clothes.' she dived under the water, then popped out again, slicking her hair back away from her face.

Damien: Damien laughs again. "No," he replies. "No, I didn't mean that at all. I was just giving my own reasons for staying clothed. Even if you were naked, I am not sure that I would be swimming around in the same manner."

Rhiannon: She laughed.
'I guess you wouldnt. You probably wouldnt even be swimming if I was naked.' she teased.

Damien: "Oh, I don't know. It's one thing to say someone wouldn't do something, it is another to have that person in a situation to see just what he will do," Damien grins, pushing himself onto his back to paddle around. "But, you might be right. Not because it would make me uncomfortable," he adds, "but because I might not be capable of swiming. . ." he chuckles.

Rhiannon: She snickered, flicking the water and watching the ripples;
'Are you saying I should swim naked then?' she winked at him before swimming across the breadth of the lake and pulling herself onto a rock near the waterfall.
'But if you couldnt swim..well that wouldnt be nice of me,' she called.
Plus, she thought. It was way to forward even for her. And she didnt want to scare him off.

Damien: "No," Damien swims toward where Rhiannon is. "It wouldn't be nice of you," he says in a stern voice, his slight smile giving him away. "No swiming naked when I am around," he wags a finger at her, completely comfortable right now and exposing more of the playful side of himself that people usually don't see. "Just, if you get an urge, or whatever it is called, just tell me, and I will get out of the water and turn my back, like the gentleman that I am," he salutes her, then dunks under the water to swim away.

Rhiannon: 'Oh but if I tell you...where's the surprise?' she said, slipping in after him and swimming in his wake. She tried to grab his foot under the water and popped her head up, pushing her hair away from her face.

Damien: Damien pops out of the water too, eyeing her. "Tell me that was you who touched my foot," he says before looking at the water sceptically. He raises an eyebrow at Rhiannon after a moment. "Anyway, you would suprise me like that?" he wags his finger at her again. "Here I am with no way of catching you by suprise," he chuckles.

Rhiannon: 'Oh you could if you wanted to,' Rhiannon giggled, splashing him a little.
'And yeah that was me. Did you think there was a lake monster or something?' she teased.

Damien: "A hungry fish, perhaps? Who knows, there could be some that like the taste of elf more than I would like to think about," he replies, trying his best to look dignified as he responds. Truth is, he was thinking a bit along those lines. . . .

He then shakes his head, absently pushing some of his wet hair that had become plastered to the scales on his cheek away. "I can suprise no one," he adds, smiling again. "I'm pretty predictable, I would say," he shrugs. He looks up at the sky, wondering just how long he has been here. With that, he swims toward the shore, and flops down on his back on it. "It's far too relaxing out here," he calls out, another chuckle in his voice.

Rhiannon: She nodded, enjoying the rear view of him leaving the water far to much for her own good, and blushing she left the water. She sat next to him and dragged a finger in the moist earth;
'You surprised me today.' she smiled to herself.
'And it is. I've often lost track of time and night has stolen up on me more then once out here.' she looked at him sidelong.
'Did you need to be somewhere or something?'

Damien: He turns on his side, and props himself on his elbow, cheek resting in the palm of his hand. He cocks an eyebrow at Rhiannon, "I did, did I?" he asks, the corner of his lip twitching. "And, no, I haven't anywhere to be."

Rhiannon: 'Yeah.' she nodded, not knowing how to phrase what she wanted to say.
'I didnt think I could feel so comfortable with a boy.' she grinned, trying to sound like she wasnt being serious.
'You surprised me in that...well you didnt give me a load of crap about not 'knowing whether you liked anyone like that yet'.' she mimicked Cyrus. She poked her tongue out at him.

Damien: Damien grins. "Well, I am glad I could make you comfortable," he replies. "The same goes for you. Tinania used to be the only girl I really felt comfortable with. Now, there's you, too," he shrugs a little. "And that last bit that you said, maybe the others just need to get more comfortable in their skin? To be honest, I'm really trying to not think about it. . . ."

Rhiannon: She tried not to frown at Tinania's name. But what was up with her even thinking like that? Wasnt that a sign of jealousy - and wasnt Damien just her friend?
'Well I know everyone isnt the same. I just - like that someone else is sort of open to new experiences,' she smiled at him.

Damien: "That was all you, you've corrupted me," Damien teases, poking at Rhiannon's shoulder.
"You made me putty in your hands and you molded me into . . . something," he says after a pause. He's still smiling, showing he means no offense by what he just said.

Rhiannon: 'I've corrupted you?' she said, putting her hands on her hips. She laughed at him.
'Putty huh? So that means I could do anything to you,' she winked, crawling over towards him and probably giving him a proper eyeful.

Damien: Note to self: Watch what you say, you fool! Damien thinks, his eyes widening a little. "Well, I guess that would depends on what you want to do with me," he says, keeping his voice light. "I guess I am a slave to your whims?" His smile grows a little at the last sentence as he keeps his eyes training on Rhiannon's. Can't have them wandering off somewhere they probably shouldn't, even if they want to.

Rhiannon: 'Like i said before,' she sat down next to him, leaning against him as she brushed loose dirt from her legs.
'Nothing you dont want to do.' she adjusted her bikini top unconsciously, tugging on a strap that had curled the wrong way.
'But a slave huh?'
She giggled.
'That sounds like something I might like.'

Damien: Damien chuckles and holds out his hands as though they are shackled. "I am yours, mistress," he manages through his chuckle. He then puts a arm around her. "But, I will have to go soon. I have to be home for dinner. Though I would like to spend quite a while longer with you, mum is very strict about everyone in the house eating together."

Rhiannon: She snuggled against him, letting out a tiny happy sigh.
'You really have to go?' she said, resting a hand on his knee lightly. Her voice sounded petulant to her ears but when he said that he would have to leave her heart had done a peculiar sinking thing.

Damien: "Unfortunately," Damien replies. "Mum doesn't insist on much, so what she does insist on, I try to honor." He looks down at Rhiannon. "I'm not going anywhere any time soon, so we'll see each other again," he smiles, though he really wishes he didn't have to go. . . .

Rhiannon: She looked up at him when he looked down at her and bumped noses with him.
'I guess I should show you the way back to my house huh?' she said, reaching up and touching his cheek with her fingertips before standing in one swift movement.

Damien: Damien watches her stand, and does the same, grabbing his clothes first. "I suppose so," he says, glancing over at her.

Rhiannon: Rhiannon walked off, heading back towards the dirt path. She looked back to make sure he was following and then carried on, kicking the ground a little as she went. She knew she was acting bitchy - and dumb, but she didnt want him to go. And she wasnt sure why she didnt want him to go so much which was making her feel worse. She paused at a line of trees;
'We're almost to my house now,' she said, before carrying on.

Damien: Damien strides are long, trying to keep up wtih Rhiannon. He is studying her, wondering just what he did to make her act like this.

When she turns to speak, he nods his response, even though she isn't looking at him anymore. After a pause to think, he asks her, "Are you alright?"

Rhiannon: She pushed past a bush and they were on her lawn again;
'Well here we are..' she said.
'Me? Oh I'm fine.' she looked at the grass, and poked at it with her toes.

Damien: Damien's eyebrows raise. "Are you sure? You're acting differently than before. . . ."

Rhiannon: 'I just..' she sighed.
'I dont want you to go. And I dont know why I dont want you to go so badly.' she shrugged one shoulder.
'I cant work it out. Sorry - I get..I dunno, I act silly when something like this happens.' she looked at him finally.

Damien: Damien smiles a little, though he is descreet about it. "Well, I don't want to go either," he admits. "But, perhaps it will help if I leave with a promise to meet you somewhere in a few days?" he suggests. "You can pick the time and place," he adds.

Rhiannon: 'Really?' her face lit up and she went over and hugged him tightly.
'Thats so..sweet of you,' she blushed. He was too charming for words, she thought.
'Could I come to your house? Would that be ok?'

Damien: Damien can't hold in his soft laugh. "Yes, that would be fine," he says, pleased that he got her in a lighter mood again. "Tell me when, and I'll tell my mum that I am having company."

Rhiannon: 'Three days from now - in the morning,' she suggested.
'If thats ok?'
She would have said 'tomorrow' - but that was just - well, it sounded desperate.

Damien: "That sound good," Damien nods, and leans in to give her his own hug. "I'll look forward to it. Now," he sighs. "I have to go. I will see you in three days."

Rhiannon: She nodded, holding onto him so that she could plant a kiss on his lips and then let him go;
'Ok. It was nice seeing you,' she smiled at him, letting go of him. It had been way more then nice she thought.
'I look forward to it too.'

Damien: He grins at her one last time before turning to head back the way he came earlier that day.

His head is bent, his dark blonde hair making a curtain around his face, as he writes elegantly in his journal. He blushes a little as he writes his thoughts on his day with Rhiannon, memories sweeping over him.

He doesn't know what had gotten into him that day, but he thinks he needs to sort it out. He doesn't want to lose one of his closest friends because they both got carried away. . . .

Tinania was coming out of the forest. She was dressed in a pair of pink jean with a rose on the bottom left pants leg. a white spaghtti strap shirt and a light pastel color vest on. She was carrying her emo bag like always with her, but she was listening to music at full blast.

Her blond hair was braid down her back. Rose and Lollipop were following after her as she walked up toward Emerald havennot seeing Damien sitting by the koi pond. "Tinania!!!! Would you wait up!!!!" Rose shouted as loud as she could, but that wasn't get to Tinania. And Lollipop was giggling chasing as the cat. Tinania seemed lost in her own world, almost like she didn't want to come out from it. She hadn't spoken to anyone since she kissed Damien.

Damien looks up, and blushes deeper when he sees Tinania. He hasn't spoken to her since the incident. Shaking his head at their foolishness, he snaps his journal shut, and calls, "Hey Nani!" waving a little too forcefully.

Rose looks over then looks back to Tinania who still hadn't heard him. Rose frowns and looks to Damien "Master Damien she got her music too loud she can't hear you..." she keeps running toward Tinania as she reaches the steps to the house and pulls out her keys.

"Can't you stop her, or something?" Damien asks, pushing himself to a standing position, and walking on his long legs toward Tinania. "I would like to speak to her. . . ."

Lollipop giggles and zooms toward Tinania and pushes her. Tinania winces and glares at Lollipop "Lolli you bloody cog. I'm trying to get inside...." she pulls her head phones off and rolls her eyes off still searching for her keys. Rose pulls at her pants legs and Tinania smiles "Rose what wrong?"

Rose looked over toward Damien and Tinania follows her. She freezes turning bright red when she see Damien. Turning away she continues to look for her key. "Where is it, please come on you bloody key..." she finds it but as she pulls it out Lollipop knocks it out of her hand and into the tall part of the grass. She glares at Lollipop but doesn't turn to look at Damien.

"Nani," Damien calls, his voice gentle. "Can we talk? Please?" he asks, stopping a few feet away from her, so she doesn't feel crowded, and has a way out should she want it.

Tinania looks at her two Familar and with a wave of her wand, Her keys float back to her. Unlocking the door she places her bag down and lets Rose and Lollipop in. She stands there debating with herself before closing the door and turning to him. She smiles alittle as she pulls her tops alittle "Um I guess..." she walks down the steps and walks toward him. She wasn't looking at him, she was following the koi in the pond.

"Look. . . ." Damien looks down as he shoves his hands in his pockets. "I don't want us to be avoiding each other. . . . I've been thinking a lot over the past few days. . . ." he pauses again, fidgeting with a loose thread in his pocket. "I wanted to ask you something. . . ." he can't seem to speak anymore, and chances a glance at Tinania.

Tinania looks at him "Damien I'm sorry....I didn't mean to kiss you. I just couldn't help it....It was like I couldn't control it. I thought that not being around you would stop it...." she stopped talkin then looked down wising her hair was not up. She breaths in slowly "Um....yea you know you can ask me anything if that still okay between us...." her wing were fluttering like crazy and all she wanted to do was hide.

Damien sighs. "Out of sight, out of mind?" he asks, then shakes his head. "I think that would hurt both of us. . . ." He looks up at her now. "I want to spend time with you, Nani. You're fun, you're my closest friend. Who knows, some day soon, whatever you want from me might happen. I'm just asking you don't push me away. . . Like you have been doing."

Tinania doesn't say anything at first then bites her lip "I couldn't help it. After I kissed you, and then you didn't do anything. I thought that maybe if I wasn't around then it wouldn't happen again. But your right, it drove me crazy that I wasn't around you. Out of everyone I know. Cyrus, Celia, Ducan, Rhi. Your my best friend, and I was scared I hurt you. That why I haven't been coming around. I couldn't face you if I had hurt you...." she still couldn't look up at him, she kept looking at the koi's swim around the pond, after a moment she looked up at him still biting her bottom lip.

Damien nods. "You didn't hurt me, you shocked me," he admits. "I had no idea that you would ever feel that way about me, that you would ever be attracted to me," he sighs. "Getting older just makes things so much more difficult. . . ." He looks back over at her with soft, aqua eyes. "I'm sorry if I hurt you."

Tinania smiles and tilts her head "You didn't Mein. I was upset, but I thought I was being childish. I didn't mean to shock you, and yes this growing up stuff if difficult. Just be glad you don't have this..." she points her her growing chest then laughs turning bright red. She pokes him and smiles "So are we okay now?"

Damien finds himself smiling back. And, after a flick of his eyes to her chest, blushing. "Yeah, we're good, Nani," he holds out his arms in hopes of a hug.

She walks to him wrapping her arms around him buring her face into his chest. She breathed in normally before looking up at him, "So what do you think of my new look?"

Damien hugs Tinania close. Then, he does a quick study of her. "I like it," he says, nodding his approval. "I like elven clothing better, though. That is just a personal preference of mine," he says, grinning.

Tinania smiles and giggles "I still wear those, just when I'm with Celia, Ducan and there friend I wear these. I got them all from Celia...." that when she saw Damien shirts were unbutton. Turning another three shades of red she nearly falls back into the pond as she backed away from him.

Damien blinks as she backs away. A hand shoots out to help Tinania keep her balance. "Is something the matter?" he asks, his brow furrowed now.

Tinania looks at his chest then back up at him "No I'm okay...I just lost my balance that all...." she licks her bottom lip and smiles before debating if she should be evil or not.

"Alright," Damien's eyes narrow as he studies Tinania. "You don't need a glass of water or anything? Sometimes, if you are dehydtrated, you can get dizzy. . . ."

She looks at the koi pond before back at Damien . She grabs his other hand falling backwards into the pond pulling Damien with her "Yea I think I needed to cool off." she giggles laying in the water as the koi's darted away from them.

Damien's eyes widen in shock as he is plunged into the water. The precious, elven silks are now ruined. But, he isn't mad, not in the least. He grins, chuckling as he splashes some water on Tinania. "You imp!" he cries, swimming away from her.

Tinania giggles blocking her face from the water then grabs his leg "Oh no you don't Damien. You need to cool off also." she splashes him with water again completely forgetting that she was wearing a white spaghitti strap shirt that was now see though. She crawls up on him and tries to pin him.

Damien's head ducks under the water, and he swallows a bit of it. He breaks the surface again, coughing and laughing.

He is afforded a show, and immediately, he is blushing again. "Nani-" he sputters, unable to take his eyes from the-now-improper state of Tinania's shirt.

Tinania stop and sits there looking at him tilts her head little. A single drop of water following down her neck then kept going until it disappeared once it hit her shirt. "Yea What is it?" she smiles letting his hands go so then rested on her wet pants legs.

With Herculean stength, he tears his gaze from Tinania's barely-covered chest. He waves his hand toward her shirt, gesturing for her to look down, as he swallows hard.

Tinania following his hands glances down and falls away from him, she was bright red again. She cover her chest with her hands and looks away "I forgot I had this top on today......" she tries to stand only to trips on a rock under the water and fallback into the water splashing them both again.

Damien sighs, and moves to help Tinania back into standing. "Don't worry. Here," he says, stripping himself of the black tunic, leaving him only in his white, unbuttoned, undershirt. He hands the tunic to Tinania, averting his eyes.

Tinania takes the tunic and places it on buttoning it up. She looks at him and smiles alittle "I guess I shouldn't have pulled us into the pond." he pokes at his wet chest and smiles "But hey it was fun right. " she pulls her hair out of its braid and shakes it out. Its was wavy around her face.

"Yeah, fun," Damien murmers. "You shocked me again," he says, chuckling. "I think it will take me a bit to realize you are all grown up," he pokes her nose and winks.

Tinania giggles and smirks "You know Ducan said you would say that....." she pulls her hands inside of his before slipping her vest off then her shirt, both pieces hitting the ground. She looks at him and winks "I told him. So don't mean I won't make him see that." she picks up the two pieces and hangs them on the tree. She looks over at him and smiles walking up to him she stands up on her tip toe her body lightly touching his. "But don't forget Mein, I always like shocking you...." she kisses his cheek and smiles.

Damien is gulping again, and all he can do is mentally curse his new bane: hormones. "Ah, well . . ." he says, looking away from Tinania as a blush deepens his cheeks again. "Is Duncan talking bad about me again?" he asks, hoping to change the subkect, even if it is a little. . . .

Tinania smiles and nods "Always, he won't tell me why he talks back about you though...So I don't bother to continue to question him." she steps away. She bends over untieing her shoes and pulling them off. She wiggles her feet and looks over at him "Are you okay?"

"Fine," Damien says. "I'm great. He talks about me because he is jealous of our friendship," he explains his theory as he wades over to the shore and plops onto the soft bank of the pond. "Besides, why wouldn't I be fine?"

Tinania sits down next to him before laying down on the grass. "Yea that what I told him also. He said He saw me first. I just told him to shove off." she looks over at him and smiles "Well you seem to be bothered about something..."

"Well, he's an idiot," Damien shrugs. He then sighs again. "I was just a bit startled by the wet shirt thing, that's all. It's something I am not accustomed to seeing," he shrugs again. "Since you keep insisting on knowing," he adds, managing a slightly charming smile for Tinania.

Tinania smirks and wrinkles her nose before poking him "Well just be glad I wasn't wearing all white like the other day." she pokes him again before moving so she can lay her head on his lap looking up at him. "And I only wanted to know because I care Mein..."

Damien raises both of his eyebrows when she lays her head in his lap. Without a thought, he starts to run his fingers absently through her damp hair. "You are not allowed to wear white ever again," he says, smiling more charmingly down at her. He is struck by how odd his tunic looks on her, it's a little big for her. It is only a moment, though, and he looks out at the koi pond again. "I'm glad we've seemed to have worked things out," he says in his usual soft, melodic voice now. "Now we won't have to avoid each other in the manor." Then, before he can stop himself, he asks, "How much time have you been spending with Duncan, anyway?"

Tinania looks at him and shakes her head "Only when he decide he needs to come with me and Celia. We got into a fight, and well I slapped him....." she stops speaking for a moment "So now he thinks its fun just to follows us. He tries to get alone with me, but see it doesn't work because Celia like always there. And since when did you care how much time I spend with him?" she sits up ad smiles "And when did you become my boss and starting stating what I couldn't wear.." she shrugs "Well all my clothes have white in it.....so i guess I can't wear anything anymore...." she winks and kisses his nose.

In reflex, Damien's slightly-flat nose wrinkles. "I was just curious," he says, catching himself before he can shrug again. "And, I suppose I will allow you to wear white," he winks again. "Just, for the sake of all involved, I suggest you don't go jumping into the pond again," he chuckles. "Unless, of course, you want to seduce Duncan," he teases.

Tinania rolls away gaging "EWWWWWW!!!! Damien he my Guardian. Like his parents. That all he will ever be to me......" she shivers at the thought. "Him and Celia are suppose to protect you and me. That why there always around. Beside if I go jumping into the pond I'll be pulling you in with me." she looks up at him laughing.

"I don't need Duncan's protection. Nyoka could kick his a**," Damien blinks at his use of profanity, but pushes on as though he didn't say anything. In a purring, teasing voice that he has never heard from his lips, he says, "So, you are just going to try and seduce me, then?"

Tinania looks at him now almost in shock at first before crawling back over and sitting on his lap "Maybe....if I tried to would you stop me?" her voice was soft as she licked her bottom lip. looking at him. Her finger running along his bottom lip as she looks at his eyes.

Damien blinks at just how forward Tinania is being. Rhiannon, he could understand. She has always been a bit blunt in saying exactly how she feels. But Tinania? He shifts a little in his seat, pushing the thought of one of his best friends, and an attractive elf, sitting in his lap. The somewhat familiar tingling sensation is in his gut again, and he wants to curse. He was teasing! He never meant for her to climb into his lap, to get his blood pumping in the exact way he does not WANT it to.

"I-I-I don't kn-n-ow," he stammers, unable to tear his eyes away from Tinania's. Damn it! Now what is he supposed to do. . . . If she doesn't squirm, like Rhiannon did, he just might be able to avoid a situation that was much like the one he was in before. . . .

Tinania bites her bottom lip and looks at Damien "I don't know either but....I can't help myself..." she leans in close and prsses her lips against his. She runs her finger along his neck then up his ear. She moves closer to him on his lap. She knew she should stop that she would freak him out again, but she didn'twant to. Not when he tease her right back.

Damien wants to pull back, he really does. But, when Tinania shifts closer, the tingling sensation in his gut spreads out a little more, and grows more intense. It is as though he has stepped out of himself, and his hand moves to rest on the small of Tinania's back. He doesn't move back, but he doesn't deepen the kiss either. A little more clumsy than with Rhiannon, he presses his lips to hers, closing his eyes.

Tinania is now the shocked one. She didn't think Damien would return the kiss. Closing her eyes she runs her hand through his hair returning his kiss. Her other hand running along his neck as she pressed closer to Damien. Her mind kept telling her to stop, but her body wasn't listening to her mind.

Damien is the one to break contact. He shakes his head as he pulls away. If he lets her keep kissing him, he if lets her run her fingers through his hair, he migh initiate something that they will both regret later. "I'm sorry," he starts, opening his eyes and looking anywhere but at Tinania. "I should't have done that. It isn't the proper way to do anything," he is mumbling, talking rapidly, and breathlessly. His body's reaction to certain things still freaks him out, he is not used to it; the blood filtering to places he doesn't want it to filter to. "I'm sorry," he mumbles again, still keeping his eyes off of her.

Tinania was beat red as she looked at Damien, her chest rising and falling fast. She looks away from him for a second before shaking her head "No Mein its okay...it was my fault. I shouldn't have kissed you." she cursed herself "I should have left you alone......" she looks at him touching his cheek "Please look at me.....Please know this wasn't your fault, neither of us could stop what just happen....I know I couldn't. My mind was telling me to pull away, but my body wasn't...." she bite her bottom lip she was now shaking. More scared that she messed up again and that she would have to avoid him again.

Damien raises his eyelids and looks at Tinania. Again, it strikes him just how cute she looks in his tunic. He finds his hands moving up to her face. He frames it in his hands, and manages a smile, before his fingers bury themselves in her hair. He leans forward and kisses her feather-light on the lips. Conflicting emotions, and thoughts, are racing through him. This new, very sudden, attraction to Tinania, and his recent, unexplainable attraction to Rhiannon, are foremost. He doesn't know how any of this happened. Both are very good friends of his, but he has been thrust into situations with both of them that make it impossible for him to treat them, fully, as friends.

When he pulls away again, there is a slight flush on his cheeks, and the tips of his elven ears. "Don't worry about it," he whispers, his fingers still tangled in her hair. Worries about her shaking, he pulls his hands gently out of her hair, and wraps his arms around her, pulling her close again. "I guess the fault lies in neither of us. Don't worry," he says again. "You didn't totally take me by suprise this time. . . ."

Tinania is now the person who eyes were wide. She didn't think Damien would ever kiss her. She lays her head on his shoulder breathing slowly, a blush appearing on her face. She turns and hide it by burying her face in his neck. Once she was sure she had stop shaking she runs her finger along his neck kissing it lightly "I'm glad I didn't shock you...." she sits up and smiles "Although I must say you did shock me..." she giggles running her hand though his hair. The tunic was now plastered to her body from him holding her. She leans in and kisses the scales under each of his eye before looking at him. "But again no worries, that was a shock I liked..."

Damien blinks. No one has kissed his scales, and he is reminded a little of when he was younger, and eveyone used to stare at his scales. He pushes that out of his head, sure Tinania never meant to make him uncomfortable by doing that. "Well. . . erm . . . I am glad I pleased you," he says, rather lamely, not really sure what he should say, in any event.

Tinania giggles alittle before tilting her head again "Did I do something wrong just now?" she bite her lip pushing some of her hair back as it fell into her face. She been around Damien long enough to know if she did something he didn't like.

Damien shakes his head. "No, you didn't do anything wrong," he says, smiling a little. He looks up at the sky, focusing on where the sun is. "I need to cut this short, regretably," he starts. "Nyoka is picking me up soon, and I need to pack still," he explains.

Tinania arches a brow "Your going back to Greece, But I was hoping you be around when I figured out this new potion. I had finally found the last herb today." she pouts, but tries not to giggle as she debates if she wants to stand or not. "I could help you pack. Beside I have to give you your tunic back...."

Damien, hardly the impulsive one, finds himself saying, "Nyoka could help with it. I'm sure she wouldn't mind you coming to Greece with me," he smiles again. "The palace is big enough. You'd like it there. If your mum will let you go, that is. . ."

He pauses a moment. "Besides, she is only taking me to help me with my potions anyway. She says I am getting lax in my studies," he chuckles.

Tinania giggles and smiles "I remember Aylana telling me how great Greece looks when I was a child. She said she take me before she left. Beside it would mean Ducan leaving me alone. Plus if I let mom know it would keep me safe because I'm with Nyoka I'm sure she let me go..." she stand and unbutton the the last three button on the tunic before grabbing her clothes. She glances at him "You sure you want me to come?"

"I don't think there would be a problem with you being there," Damien says, eyeing Tinania. "Why, do you think there will be?"

Tinania shrugs and walks over to him "I just don't want to be bothering anyone in case something big is going on in Greece." she pushes her hair from her face and smiles. "Plus I don't want to distract you from your studies Mein" she pokes him before turning to walk toward the house.

She nods and smiles to LoreLei and Nana. "Could you let my mother know I'm going to Greece with Damien and Nyoka." she picks up a muffin and bites into it as Nana smiles "Of course Little Sprite. I'll leave her a note, she gone off into the woods somewhere." Tinania rolls her eyes and sighs "That doesn't surprise me." she glances back to see what Mein was doing.

Damien follows Tinania into the house. He waits a moment as she talks. When she is finished, he smiles slightly. "I'm going to go pack, and leave you to it. I'll meet you in the living room in half an hour? Will that be enough time?"

Tinania nods "Yea that will give me plently of time Mein." she turns and leans down picking up the sleeping Rose of the couch. Then turns and climbs up the stairs. Heading towards her room she stops when she see her mother and sister room. Shaking her head she continues to walk to her door. Walking inside she lays Rose on her bed. She smirks when she see Lulu is outside being bugged by Lollipop.

Grabbing under her bed she pulls out a suitcase. She unfolds it and unzips everything before pulling her hair back. She walks over to her alter and gathers her scrolls, potions and magic book. She places this all into her emo bag. Walking over to her amoire she opens it and pulls out her woodland gown, noble gown, lady gown, dark blue gown, and her bloodred gown. She places them on her bed. She pulls out her black slippers to match them all along with each of the matching slippers to each dress.

With a wave of her wand the dresses fold neatly and are placed into the suitcase as she walks over to pull out a few more items. The whole time the image of the kiss running though her head.

Damien is of one mind right now: get packed. The last time he was late meeting Nyoka, the great, scarred Amazon that accompanied her gave him a tongue lashing. Though he thinks it was in jest, it was really hard to tell whether the glint in those black eyes was from humor or anger, he doesn't want another lecture.

He had already folded his clothes and put them away the night before, so he is using this time to get all of his toiletries together, and look around his room for anything he might have left behind.

He's down in the living area with two minutes to spare, and a grin on his face. He beat-

"You're late again," the Amazon says, her voice thick with her Greek accent.

"I'm sorry, Iphigenia," Damien says, taking a step back. The woman looks fierce, anyone would take a step back, he reminds himself.

"Leave him be, Iphigenia," Nyoka grins up at the woman. "Are you ready?"

"Yes," Damien says, glancing at Iphigenia again as he walks toward his sister to give her a hug. "I invited Nani," he adds.

"That's fine, we'll wait," Nyoka replies as she hugs him back, the tip of her tail tapping idly on the floor.

Tinania gathers the last of her items before zipping up her bag. She runs over to her desk to write a quuck note. Placing it on her bed she pulls her suitcase onto her shoulder before picking up Rose and placing her into her emo bag. She turns and walks out the door closing in behind her.

Walking down the stairs she smiles brightly when she see Nyoka "Nyoka, hey I hope you don't mind me coming." she glances to the other lady and bows to her and smiles her fairy wings fluttering alittle.

Iphigenia give one of her smiles, which is supposed to be charming, but ends up scary.

"No, I don't mind," Nyoka says, waving her hand. "Tinania, this is Iphigenia. Iphigenia, my cousin Tinania," she pauses a moment. "Now that we are all aquainted, Iphigenia, arms around me, you two, hold onto your bags, and take my hands," she grins, holding out her hands.

Damien takes it, clutching his suitcase in his free hand after making sure the strap of his pack is secure over his chest.

Tinania clutches her bag then decide to pull Rose out of the emo bag and place her in her shirt, that way she could hold the bag and Rose at the same time. She Takes Nyoka's hand and smiles. She glances to LoreLei and Nana waves to them, but frowns as she see from the kitchen window Ducan heading up the walkway. She nudges Damien and bites her bottom lip looking towards the window.

"Do you want to say goodbye to him?" Damien says, sparing Duncan the briefest of glances.

Nyoka raises an eyebrow, and watching as the boy walks up the way. "We can wait a few more minutes. But, I can only spare a few minutes. I have to get back, show you to rooms, and start some other things. . . ."

Tinania shakes her head "No I rather we left, if that alright." she bites her bottom lip looking at Damien, she didn't want to explain why. But she really didn't want to deal with Ducan right now, not after the bookstore.

Nyoka has both brows raised now. She grunts when Iphigenia puts her weight onto her shoulders. "Alright, let's go, then."

Damien only has time to shoot a concerned look at Tinania before they blink out of the manor . . .

. . . And into the large, white, marble palace entryway.

Nyoka smiles, pushes Iphigenia off of her, and slithers forward. "Welcome to my humble abode," she chuckles.

Tinania places her bagged down looking around. Her eyes were wide. She looks to Nyoka and tries her best not to squeal "This place it great Nyoka....." she couldn't believe it.

Rose yawns and shakes her head before yelping "Tinania where are we? This doesn't look like the estate." she jumps down to the ground and looks around. Tinania giggles and looks to Damien "I can see why you like it here..."

Damien smiles, remembering his own reaction to the palace.

"Thank you, Tininania. Anemone," Nyoka gestures to the brown-haired Amazon striding down the steps. "Will show you to your room. I need to go to the kitchen and see about dinner. . . ." Iphigenia accompanies Nyoka out of the room.

"If you will follow me," Anemone says in flawless English. "And, welcome back, Damien. Who is your friend?"

"This is Tinania," he replies as she starts toward the stairs again.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Tinania," Anemone says.

Tinania smiles "Pleasure to meet you to Anemone." she follows them up the stairs as she picks up Rose Along the way and her bag. Rose taps her on her waist just above her rib cage and she winces "Rose not there please..."

Rose mews and bends her ears backwards "Sorry I forgot that where he grabbed you..." she covers the cats mouth and looks at Damien in hopes he didn't hear Rose. "Ms. Anemone would I be wearing an outfit like that?" she rubs at her ribcage where Rose had touch as they continue to walk.

Damien's back stiffens, and Anemone is hit, suddenly, with an odd sense of fury. Shaking her head, she looks back at Tinania. "Yes, if you like, I can send for some dresses for you," she says, glancing at Damien.

Damien looks over at Tinania with a look that clearly states: We need to talk.

Tinania bows her head looking away then smiles "That would be great Ms. Anemone." she pets Rose to let her know she did nothing wrong. She couldn't look at Damien, she knew he was going to be furious, just the fact she didn't tell him when she saw him. It was one reason she had pulled her shirt down when she did see him.

Rose looks over at Damien and mews jumping up onto his shoulder and purrs. Tinania looks at her and giggles, before biting her lip.

Damien reaches up to absently stroke Rose.

Anemone stops in front of a door. "Damien, your room is the same as you left it. I think we will put Tinania next door," she says. "We'll leave the decorating up to you. I'll have a dress sent up to you for dinner." Sensing that she might need to leave the two alone, she gives them one last smile, and departs.

Damien waits until he is sure Anemone is gone. "Do you want to tell me what Rose was talking about?" he asks Tinania, leaning his free shoulder against his door.

Tinania places her bag down and looks at him "Not really, because I know you'll be furious with me, and I don't want you to be." she glances down not saying anything else.

Rose mews and shakes her head "Tinania, you know you have to tell him that Ducan grabbed you." she covers her mouth when Tinania looked up glaring at the cat. Rose mews "I'm sorry he not fit to be called a guardian..."

Tinania shakes her head and opens the door taking her items into the room. She walks over and lies down on the bed. She knew this was only going to get worse, least she could do was not be in the hall.

Instead of following Tinania into her room, he gently scoops Rose off of his shoulder, and sets her down on the floor. "I'll see you at dinner," he calls. He shifts grabs his suitcase, jerks his door open. Once inside, he snaps it shut.
Tinania laid on her bed as Damien snapped the door shut. Shaking her head she sighs as she sits up pulling her shirt upwards. She glanced at the bruise. It was a nice shade of purple running along her ribcage to the middle of her waist. She wanted to tell Damien, but she didn't want Damien to kill Ducan either.

Pulling her shirt back down she went back towards the door and opened it slowly. Allowing Rose to walk in as she grabbed her bag "He upset with you." Tinania looks at Rose "You don't think I know that?" she shakes her head then glances down the hall curious to see if anyone was bringing gowns to her. When she saw no one she left the door ajared as she pulled her bag towards the bed.

Rose looked at her and sighed "Tinania your gonna have to tell him. I know you think that Ducan didn't mean it, but you have to understand that wasn't right." Tinania looked away as she pulled out her healing herbs, and magic books.

Damien starts to unpack, his mind racing with thoughts. Finally, he sighs, and pulls out his journal. He scans over the last few day's entries. Tomorrow, he has to be back home for the day. He promised Rhiannon he would hang out with her.

He frowns a little. What is he doing? He kissed Rhiannon, and now Tinania. . . . Rather than think of it, he shakes his head, to clear it of those thoughts.

Tinania looks over her herbs as she looked through her earth spell book. She knew something would help her out, but with her mind else where she wasn't able to think. She sat down on the ground and frowns throwing her earth spell book across the room.

"Why didn't I just tell him..." she pushes her hair back before buring her face in her knees.

Rose shakes her head before jumping off the bed and running towards the door. She glances back before slipping out, she walks over to Damien's door and taps at it lightly. She wanted to talk to Damien, she knew Tinania felt too ashamed at this point about even letting it happen, to tell him.

Damien sighs, slamming his journal shut. It is probably one of the Amazons, anyway. With that in mind, he opens the door, his head tilted back a little. The woman here were much taller than he . . .

Confused, he looks around, not even looking toward the floor. Shrugging, he starts to close the door.

Rose ran into the room heading towards his bed. She leaped up onto the bed and sat there waiting for him. She glanced at his journal and tilted her head alittle, her tail tapping the bed as it moved around.

Tinania stood her wings fluttering, she looked around wondering where Rose had gone to. She laughed alittle as she opened the door, she looked around before slipping out of the room. Closing the door slowly she walked down the hall. She might as well see the palace while she was here.

Damien turns, and cocks an eyebrow when he sees Rose. "Yes?" he asks.

Rose smiles and tilts her head "You wanna know what happen to Tinania right? Well she won't tell you, she's ashamed of it happening. Plus she scared you'll think of her as a weak person." she looked at the journal again and sniffed at it "Whats that?"

Tinania continued down the hall, she glanced back only when she had a feeling she would get into trouble. Shaking her head she turned and headed back towards her room, only to stop in front of Damiens door. She touched in lightly and sighed "Damien...I'm sorry..." she slide down to the ground as she sat there in front of his door looking at her hands.

Damien walks over to the desk with the journal on it, and puts his hand protectively over it. "What happened?" he asks, not answering her question.

A harrased looking Nyoka dashes up the stairs, stripping off her clothes as she goes. ******** dinner! She almost forgot! She knows Anemone has some awesome dress prepared for her, and she just wants to cringe. She'll get through the night, she thinks as she strips her shirt off and starts getting to work on the fastenings on her pants. She stops short when she sees Tinania. Rather than cover her top - hell, she has a bra on! - she smiles a little. "What are you doing out here? Just knock on his door, I'm sure he's decent. . . ."

Rose sits there and smiles "It happen earlier that day, Tinania got a letter from Mel telling her they had to meet at the bookstore in Durem, something about seeing her again and wanting to catch up. When she got there, she found Ducan. They got into a huge fight and he tried to kiss her because he thinks he should own Tinania. He had her pushed against one of the shelves, well she slapped him pretty hard. So inturn he pushed her into the corner of one of the smaller bookshelves. That when Mel came, she knocked Ducan out. Mel brought her partway home, then to make it look like she was okay she placed her headphones on and started humming, so in case she saw her mother it was like nothing happen."

She pauses and thinks "She scared to hurt Ducan's parents and she doesn't want to hurt him. She doesn't know that what Ducan is doing is a bad thing. So when you found out, she felt ashamed that she couldn't hide it." she mews and lays her head on her paws "Damien she doesn't know, and right now she needs someone on her side beside Celia and I."

Tinania looks up and blushes four shades of red. Stand quickly she looks everywhere but at Nyoka "I was going to see if dinner was ready. I just sat down because I was alittle tired." she smiles weakly before shaking her head "Its okay, I didn't want to bother him, I'm pretty sure he doesn't want to be around me." she pulls her shirt down alittle looking at Nyoka finally.

Damien sighs. "Well, she has to tell someone. If she doesn't tell her mum, I will. I can't talk to him," he says flatly. "And, if she wanted me to be there for her, she would have told me herself."

Nyoka cocks an eyebrow. "Did you two have a fight or something? He never doesn't want you around," she shakes her head. "Oh, dinner is almost ready. Your dresses should be up here. . . ."

Rose sighs "Damien, she doesn't know how to tell you. This is something she never dealt with, so to get hurt by someone she thought she could trust scares her." she tilts her head "And you know she wants you on her side, maybe all you have to do is let her know you won't freak out on her like the day at the bookstore with Ducan and Celia." she shrugs then moves her ears towards the door "Your sister outside with Tinania as we speak..."

Tinania shakes her head "No its nothing like that, we didn't get into a fight, at least I don't think." she tilts her head "My dress is already here, you mean in my room?" she glances back towards her room then back to Nyoka.

"It should have been," Nyoka frowns. "Are you saying it wasn't?" She looks around. "Jennifer!" she yells. "Erika!"

A few minutes later, two Amazon's emerge. "Yes, highness?"

"The dresses?" she asks.

"They are on their way. Anemone went to pick them up," the onther answers.

"That explains alot. Tinania," Nyoka says, turning back to her. "Anemone will have your dresses right before dinner," she chuckles.

Damien sighs and opens his door. He blinks when he sees Nyoka and turns his back. "Goddesses, Nyoka!" He exclaims, the tips of his ears turn pink.

Nyoka chuckles. "That's my cue to leave. I better get ready, anyway," she salutes Tinania and, still chuckling, hurries to her room.

When Damien hears the satisfactory snap of her door, he turns back around. He looks down at Tinania. "Rose told me," he says.

Tinania turns four shades of red once again and hides her face with her hair. She looks down at the ground for a minute before looking up at him "I'm sorry I...just don't know....I know I shouldn't have kept it from you. I just...." she couldn't speak she just looked back down at the ground ashamed.

Rose sits by Damien's leg and mew "I'm sorry Tinania, but I didn't want to see this cause you two to fight anymore, plus him knowing will be a good thing, he could help you." she looked up at Tinania who just kept quiet.

"I don't see how, I'm just going to blow up," Damien says, wondering where the hell that came from. . . .

Tinania winces at Damiens word and sighs "Damien please don't, it could make things worse. I'll just keep away from him that all." she looked up at him biting her bottom lip "I promise...."

Damien raises his eyesbrows. "You don't need to promise me you aren't going to see certain people, Nani," he says. "I'm not your keeper. You can see whomever you wish. I just think you should tell your mum about what he did to you. If he did it once, he'll do it again."

Tinania didn't know why but his words felt like a stab in the gut. She looked at him and nods masking her feeling from him as her eyes went glassy alittle "I will Damien, I'll tell her." she looks at the ground pushing her hair back "Um...I guess you'll want to go back to your room then..." her wings fluttered as she stoodd there.

Damien's eyebrows wrinkle. Girls are strange as they get older, he thinks. "I'm sorry if I somehow hurt your feelings," he says, confused now. "I don't know what I could have said to have caused it," he adds. "But I didn't mean to. . . ."

Tinania shakes her head and laughs alittle "Its fine Damien, I just forgot I wasn't alittle kid anymore. I guess because I promised you things when I was young means when your a teen its different." she touches his cheek lightly "Damien its fine, okay..." she leans up and kisses his cheek then steps away. She bites her bottom lip feeling stupid at this point, she might have destory everything between her and Damien, because she couldn't tell him anything. She cursed herself for it.

"Erm," he starts, glancing away from Tinania. "I am going to go get ready for dinner. . . . I'll meet you out here in a few minutes. . . . I can show you were it is."

Just then, Anemone hurries down the hall. "Oh, Tinania. It seems I have waited until the eleventh hour," she chuckles. She winces a little as the tension in the hall hits her, but she brushes it aside. "I have your dresses," she explains, nodding toward the boxes in her hand. "The box on the top of the pile is the one I think will work best for tonight. . . ."

Tinania frowns looking at Damien before hearing Anemone. She smiles and takes the boxes "Thank you Ms. Anemone." she bows to her before glancing at Damien again "Yea I'll see you in a few..." turning she hurries back to her room. Rose following her.

Closing her door she sighs "Good Job Tinania, if he allows me around him again I'll be surprised." she walks over to the bed placing the boxes down on the bed. She glances at Rose "I'll bring you some food okay?" Rose nods and smiles "Of course, hopefully you'll talk to Damien..."

Tinania sighs shaking her head "Rose I messed up, the best thing to do is leave him alone at this point. Beside I must still be a baby if I can't even tell him about Ducan attacking me." she opens the box. and gasps turning red. Rose looks at her "What wrong?" she glances at the dress "Did she give you the right dress?"

Tinania shrugs "I guess...I don't want to be rude by not wearing it..." kicking her shoes off then pulling her clothes off, she lifted the dress out of the box. She looks it over and smiles "Maybe this won't be so bad." slipping the dress on then fixing everything she looks at herself.

The dress was white with the stomach area being see-though. with gold under the chest which was revealing just alittle though the slits. Shaking her head she turns and picks up the white belt with gold clasps to hold it in place. Once she was sure the dress looked right she turned to Rose.

Rose just smiles and nods "You look amazing Tinania" Tinania smiles as she slips on the white slippers that had gold beads on it. "Thanks, I'll see you after dinner." pulling her hair up into a braid she walks toward the door and opens it.

Damien's clothes were less elaborate, but just as formal. He knows about the dinners that are held the first night a guest comes, so he is dressed approriately. An elegant black tunic, a silver undershirt, and black tights. His long hair is pulled back, as usual. He gives himself a careless look in the mirror before leaving his room.

Once he is back in the hall, he looks toward Tinania's open door. He blinks a little at the outfit. Well, he never thought Tinania would dress in something like that. Or that Anemone would give her something like that.

Nyoka slithers out of her room before he can say anything. She striaghtens her own dress of dark green fabric fading to black. She flaps her wings, which sprouted back while she was in her room. She turns and looks toward her cousin and brother. Blinking at Tinania's outfit, she shoots a glance toward her nonplussed brother. "Ah, I see everyone is ready. You look lovely, by the way, Tinania," she beams at her.

Damien nods his agreement.

"Well, then, shall we?" she asks.

Tinania blushes to her ear and smiles "Um thanks...." she looks at Damien smiling, glad that he at least he liked it. She turns to Nyoka and smiles "I feel alittle over dressed though, but Anemone gave this to me, and I didn't want to be rude..." her wings flutter alittle as she played with the belt. She smiles and nods to Nyoka comment about going to dinner.

Nyoka doubts greatly that Anemone had anything to do with that, but she nods, and leads everyone to the dining hall. She motions everyone to the seats.

Anemone blinks when she sees Tinania. "Your highness," she says, in Greek. "That is not what I gave her!"

Nyoka holds a hand up. "I know," she responds, in he same language. "Don't worry, I will handle it. . . ."

Damien glances at his sister before sitting down.

"Ah, introductions need to be made, if everyone would take their seats," Nyoka said as she stands at the head of the table. Everyone sits, and Nyoka gestures to Tinania. "This is my cousin, Tinania," she starts. As she lists off names, she points. "Anemone, Fauna, Galena, Nerina, and Iphigenia," she says.

Everyone nods in greeting.

Tinania smiles nodding to them all as she sat down, her hands were in her lap.. She looked around the dinning area then glances at each amazon. Glanceing at Damien she frowns before looking back at her hands, she wanted to fix this fight they just had, but she had a feeling that she couldn't, at least not right now.

Breathing in slowly she looks back up at Nyoka, her wings fluttered once in awhile.

Nyoka narrows her eyes at Fauna, whose eyes are sparkling.

"Ah, the wine is here," Nyoka looks at the servers. "None for those two," she adds.

Damien frowns.

"I'll see you guys tomorrow," Nyoka says, disappearing.

Damien frowns. "Alright," he says softly. He turns to Tinania, "Can I walk you to your room."

Tinania giggles watching Nyoka disappear. Looking at Damien, she smiles and nods "Of course Mein." she stands stepping away from the chair before pushing it in. Fixing the dress alittle she looks at Damien. She looks away blushing trying to find something of interest that wasn't Damien, but that failed as she looked back at him. She pushes her hair back from her face and holds her hand toward Damien.

Damien glances down at her hand before taking it. He starts to lead her to the stairs. "The formal dinners can be a bit boring," her starts. "But, before we leave for the manor again, maybe I can talk Nyoka into throwing a ball, or something. I watched one from the stairs when I was here last. They looked fun," he says.

Tinania smiles "A ball would be very nice. And dinner wasn't boring, at least not to me. Being in a place like this, I don't think anything could be boring to me." she looks at him and giggles before going quiet, she thought for a moment "Um, you wouldn't want to go outside would you? I'm not all that tired and I'm kind of curious how this place looks at night." she looks down at her feet as she spoke. Why was this so hard?

Damien is tired, and he has seen Greece at night, but he nods. "It's not as pretty as home, but it is nice," he starts, heading for the door now. The gaurds on either side open the heavy doors while Damien waits.

Right in front of them is the city. There is no courtyard distancing them from the people.

All of the stores are closed, save for the tavern at the edge of the city. The music from it float in the breezy night air.

The streets are lit by gas lamp-posts on either side of it.

"There it is," Damien says.

Tinania smiles looking it over, it was something out of the books. She looks at Damien shakes her head "This place is truely amazing, I could see why you stay here alot." she looks back her wings fluttering, she wanted to go explore. Glancing to Damien she bites her lip "If your tired you can go rest, I'll be fine Mein." she touches his upper arm looking at him. She knew they should talk, but she wanted him to sleep.

"I am tired," Damien admits. "But, I sense you want to stay out here a bit longer," he glances at her. "I don't want you out here alone."

Tinania smriks placing her hands on her hips "Mein I'm not a kid anymore. I go walking around the forest at Emerald Haven all the time. I'll be fine, I'm grown up. I can take care of myself" she pokes him and smiles "Go to bed Mein, get some rest okay, for me please."

Damien eyes Tinania a few moments. "Are you sure?" he asks.

Tinania looks away looking at the city. She knew this wasn't Emerald Haven, she knew there wasn't magic here to protect her from anything. She looks at Damien "No I'm not sure, but I can see your tired, I would rather have you sleep then deal with me at this point." she turns from him looking over the city once more.

"In that case, I won't be going to bed," he says, and starts toward the town. "All the shops are closed, I'm sorry we can't go in them," he says when he is on the first step.

Tinania arches a brow, sighing she followed after him then walked alittle ahead of him. She was so quiet as she looked around taking in the town. It was nothing like the villages on the estate. She glances back Damien for only a second before leaning against the wall waiting for him "Your still mad at me, for not telling you about happen between me and Ducan." she was blunt as she looked down at the ground, her face was hidden by the darkness as she spoke.

Anger is a foreign emotion to him. He has never really felt it, only when his mum wouldn't let him hold her wand when he was younger, and when Duncan was going to do his love spell. And, now. "I will always be protective of you, Tinania," he says, his voice a little clipped. "I am more hurt that you felt you couldn't tell me this. Even I am allowed to have a temper."

Tinania looks up at that point "I don't know, I'm sorry, but I felt I had the need to hide it. I didn't want you to know how weak I was.. That I couldn't even stand up to Ducan." she pause and pushes herself off the wall "Everyone has something they keep from everyone Damien. You know that. This was just something I felt I needed to hide, I know now that was foolish."

She turns alittle looking at a gas lamp "I just don't know Damien. Its like right now." she looks over at him "I want to walk into your arms and hug you, I want to kiss your cheek letting you know that I'm alright. But even that I'm scared to do at this point." she sighs and shakes her head going quiet as she messed with the belt on her dress.

"I am aware of that," Damien says. "And, there is no need to feel weak. Just because someone is stronger than you doesn't mean that you are weak," he says. "Not asking for help when you should, that is weak," he adds.

He sighs, and turns his face away from her. "Things are never going to be the same between us, are they? Just because of that one outburst that I happened to have?" he asks quietly. "It wasn't too long before that that you would practically knock me over to hug me, or sit in my lap while I read to you. You're going to hold my rightful anger against me for the rest of my life?"

Tinania looks at him and shakes her head "No....Damien I can't stay mad at you, even if I wanted to, which I don't." she walked over to him and touched his hand before taking it in his. "This is all new to the both of us. I don't care that you got angry, now that I think about it, you had a right to be."

She breaths in slowly closing her eyes "Mein, I haven't done any of that because I wasn't sure if you still liked me doing that. I didn't want to shock you like I already have with those kisses." she blushes a deep red, for once very glad her face could be hidden. She whispers softly "If I could right now I'd kiss you just to let you know that I want nothing to change between us..."

Damien doesn't look at Tinania, now. He thinks back to Rhiannon. He doesn't know what they are doing, and he doesn't know how that one day will effect things.

He thinks back to the first time Tinania kissed him. He was shocked, and he only held familial love for her. He's completely confused now.

Finally, he sighs. "I don't mind if you want a hug from me, 'Nani. I could never mind that," he says. "And nothing has changed between us," Maybe that is the problem, he thinks. He just wishes Tinania would stop holding past actions against him. . . .

Tinania looks away pulling her hand away, she sighs leaning against the wall. She was feeling really stupid at this point. She looked over at Damien. She knew something was bothering him but she wasn't sure what. She just leaned against the wall thinking, how could she fix this. She smirks getting this idea, could it work? She looked to him. "Hey Mein, what is the one thing you do want me to stop doing?" she was smiling, the first time since they started talking.

Damien raises a slanted eyebrow at her. "Are you serious?" he asks, as his brow starts to furrow in thought. "Fine, I want you to stop throwing things I have done in the past back in my face. What has happened, has happened, and that does not mean that I have not learned a thing or two since then. . . ."

Tinania smiles, now she was getting somewhere. Walking back over to him she stands in front of him "Okay done, the past is the past now." she places her hands on her hips "Anything else Mein." she really calm, it had to be the elven in her and the way her grandmother raise her while she was away.

"No," he says, simply, eyeing her again. He wonders what has gotten into her.

Tinania smiles "Okay, then I'll fix that about me, I don't want everytime we see eachother we end up fighting. That stupid, your one of my closest friends. Yes I have feelings for you that are confusing the hell out of me at this point, but at the rate I'm going I'll push you away forever, And I don't want to do that." she places a hand on his chest looking at him "But I do want to kiss you. I'm just not sure if this is the right moment to..." she laughs little pushing her hair from her face she looks up at him.

Damien blushes a little, really wondering what had gotten into her. His tired brain cannot really compute it all. Perhaps that is why he leans down at plants a kiss on her forehead. . . . He hovers there a moment, before pulling his head back again. "I don't want to fight anymore, either," he admits. "I hate fighting. . . ."

Tinania smiles warpping her arms around his waist hugging him close "So do I. I gotten enough of it this past week to last me a lifetime. I want to be around you Mein and feel like I can be myself." she looks up at him and without saying anything this time she leans up and softly press her lips against his.

Damien doesn't pull away. Again, his tired reflexes. He finds his arms wrapping around Tinania. . . .

Then, with a rather deep blush, he breaks the kiss slowly. Is this right? Should he be doing this so soon after he has kissed Rhiannon? It is too confusing!

Rather than say anything about the matter, he asks, "Erm, what else do you want to see?"

Tinania looks at him alittle confused. She smiles letting the imp inside her out, she wasn't going to let him off that easy with that simple kiss. Running her hand lightly over his neck she smiles "Your lips pressed against mine Mein..." she leans in kissing him once again, her hand running along his ear then running lightly though his hair.

The ear! Is all he can think. He knows all too well what the ear does to him now. Even as he is being kissed again, he is moving his body away from Tinania's. When he feels that bloody flutter in his gut, he pulls away again. "We can't do this," he says, not looking at Tinania, and pulling his cape around to cover his body, just in case. He thinks he has prevented it from happening, but one can never be certain. . . .

Tinania frowns backing away from Damien, she nods not saying anything as she wraps her arms around her waist. "I'm sorry....." she turned from him and looks at the ground.

"No, it has nothing to do with you," Damien says, hastily. Goddess, did he have to hurt her every time he turned around? "Well, partly. 'Nani," he looks pained now, and more than a little embarassed. "It's humiliating, don't make me explain myself," he says.

He takes a deep breath and reaches over to her, placing his hand on her shoulder. "I didn't mean to hurt you," he says, his voice soft again.

Tinania doesn't say anything at first before turning to him, she looks him over, putting the pieces together. She turns bright red and hides her face. She read this stuff in books her mother gave her but she didn't think it could really happen. She giggles looking at Damien "Damien is your body reacting a way you don't like?" there was that imp in her again as she stepped closer to him.

"And you didn't hurt me, the way you pushed me away I thought I hurt you, but now I see I didn't, but I can tell one thing. Your body did like what I just did." she leans agianst the wall close enough to him both far enough to let him breath. "The joys of books, you can learn alot from them..." she winks and taps the wall just watching them.

Damien straightens his back, his face growing serious. "No, I don't like it. I can't control it," he says. "And, R-" he stops. "Just, it would be best if you didn't touch my ear in such a manner again. You of all people should know about elven ears," he grows more formal as he gets even more embarassed. He has not taken it upon himself to seek out such books. He just wants to pretend none of this is happening to him. . . .

Tinania smiles watching him "Damien girls bodies go though it also, that why the blushing, only difference is the way our bodies react it can't be seen...its called horomones, and there is no way of stopping them, you just have to let it happen." she giggles "I should let you borrow that book. Also a cold shower works." she winks then walks back over to him poking his nose before kissing his cheek.

Damien blinks, ignoring everything that she has said. His usual spnge of a brain does not retain the information. Denial works, denial is a wonderful thing. Gods, why is it that once you get older, people just have to talk about . . . that? "Erm, anyway," he says, clearing his throat a little. "Aren't the trees over there just beautiful?" he asks, desperate for some change in the subject. . . .

Tinania giggles looking at them, she smiles looking back at him "Wanna go climb them? I bet we could see everything." she was relax as she hugged him again looking up at him.

"I really think it a bad idea for you to dress in that attire, 'Nani," Damien replies, smiling a relieved smile when she changes the subject, and he hugs her back. "And, it is dark. Our sight is good, but I don't think it is the best, and the woods around here are not as familiar. . . ." he strails off, then shrugs, telling himself to stop overthinking things. "Go and change, and I will think about it," he says.

Tinania laughs and nods vanishing right there on the spot. She reappears in her room. She walks over to her bed quietly not to make aa sound. Rose was fast asleep on her pillow as she opens her duffle bag. Looking though it she pulls out a pair of the white short shorts that celia bought her. She never worn them around anyone because she didn't think she could.

Shrugging she grabs her black spaghetti strap and changes into them. Pulling her slippers off, she grabs her black boots and pulls them on lacing them up. Looking herself over she grabs a jacket as ties it around her waist before vanishing out of the room.

Reappearing right in the same spot, she refixes her hair before placing her hands on her hips "Okay I'm back."

Damien, having never seen Tinania in such attire, has to take a moment to blink the shock from his eyes. "Alright," he finally manages. "Go and pick a tree. I think it would be best if I climbed up ahead of you. You're shorts don't seem to cover much," he teases.

Tinania laughs as a blush rises to her cheek "That the whole point to these shorts, or so that what Celia told me. And no I'm climbing up first." she tease him right back as she looks over at the trees. Turning to him she smirks "Sure you can keep up.." she turns running towards the trees.

Damien walks, albeith at a rapid pace, to the trees. He is not one to run, not really. "Have you picked one, yet?" he asks.

Tinania reaches the tree, she smiles leaning against the tree. "Yup this one..." she jumps up grabbing the branch swinging her legs alittle. Her shirt rises alittle showing off her flat stomach. She watches him walk over toward the tree before pulling herself up onto the branch to sit there, looking down at him.

Rather than climb up right after her, Damien circles the tree, and starts climbing from the opposite side of the tree. He rests on a branch next to Tinania. "Did you really want to race?" he asks.

Tinania eyes light up she tilts her head to the side looking at him "Sure, and I'll even give you a head start." her wings are moving fast as she swung her legs. She was indeed an imp at this point "And how about this, if I win I get to kiss you again, deal." she holds her hand out towards him.

"Ah . . ." Damien pauses, looking at Tinania's hand thoughtfully. Shrugging, he takes her hand. It's only a kiss. . . . With that, he gracefully pulls himself up by the branch above him so he is standing. He starts to climb. . . .

Tinania just sits there watching him. Once she is sure she given him enough time, she stands slowly, thanks to her wings and her arms she balances herself on the branch before jumping up to grab the next branch. Pulling herself up quickly she reaches for the next one.

Damien is falling behind, and he knows it. He is simply tired, he tells himself. He didn't realize before now that he had even a small competitive streak in him.

Nevertheless, he tries to pick up his pace, but his muscles are simply to tight, and too tired. At this rate, Tinania will be at the top before too long. . . .

Tinania looks back at Damien, she was half tempted just to let him win but she wanted to prove she could do this. Balances her once more she leaps to grab the branch. As she pulls herslef up her leg slips alittle smacking her knee on the branch. She winces but shakes it off as she grabs for the next branch.

Tired, with muscles that feel like cooked noodles, Damien sits on a branch. He leans against the trunk of the tree, closing his eyes after he brushes the stray whisps of hair out of his face. "England concedes, madame," he calls up to Tinania and she shrugs out of his vest, hoping to cool down soon. He folds it neatly and places it in his lap. "Come and claim the spoils of war, for I am afriad that I cannot move another inch," he says, a little humor slithering into his voice.

Tinania looks down at him, she smiles but shakes her head "In a second, I'm determind to do this.." she looks up, just a few more branches. Breathing in deeply she leaps grabbing the next branch, she swung there for a moment looking up at the final branch, her arms were burning but she didn't want to give up.

Pulling herself up she sat there looking at her shaking arms, she braces herself as she grabs the last branch pulling herself up. She looks out across the forest. she was laughing. She glances down at Damien "Okay coming down..." she jumps from the branch landing on the lower one before jumping down to the next one. Finally reaching Damien she smiles as she sits there breathing deeply.

Damien's eyes are closed again, but he isn't sleeping. "Where are you?" he asks. He holds out a hand. "I am afriad you had better claim your prize before I fall asleep, and slip off of this branch. . . ."

Tinania smiles climbing over to the branch he was at. Sitting right in front of him she touches his nose "Right in front of you, and I won't let you fall Mein." she takes his hand and smiles "Come on, let head back to the palace, you need sleep." she looks down at the ground licking her bottom lip trying to figure out how to get them both down.

Then it hit her, grabbing the hoverdisc from the pocket of her jacket she tosses next to them. Then pulling her wand out she waves it causing the hoverdisc to grow bigger. She looks to Damien "If your able to open your eyes, my hoverdisc is right near you, you can sit on it and it will lower you to the ground. You won't have to climb down."

Damien complies, and deposits his body on the hoverdisc. "Thanks, 'Nani," he says, smiling at her.

Tinania smiles and nods "No problem" she taps a button on the hoverdisc and it lowers to the ground. She climbs out of the tree and lands near him She stands slowly brushing herself off then looking to Damien "Come lets get you to bed." she holds her hand out to him so she can help him up.

"I think I can walk," Damien chuckles. "I just couldn't climb anymore," he starts toward the palace. "Now, 'Nani, will you allow me to escort you to your room?"

Tinania smiles and nods "Yea..." she grabs the hover disc and tapping a button it shrinks to about the size of a cd. Placing it in her jacket pocket she follows after him.

He holds out a bent arm to her. "Alright, then," he says. If she puts her arm through his, or if she doesn't, he starts for the palace. Once inside, he leads her up the stairs to their wing. Then, down the hall, and finally, to her room. "This is your stop, 'Nani," he says, the smile still on his lips.

Tinania takes her hand from his nodding "Yea I guess it is..." she looks at him and smiles nodding her head once again "Even though it started off bad, I had a fun day Damien." she looks toward her door then back at him "Um...sleep well okay....." she turns going for her door.

"Yes, it was," Damien replies. As he watches her turn, he raises a slanted eyebrow. They had a bet, but she doesn't seem to want what she wanted before. On that thought, he shrugs and turns for his own door. "And, you rest well," he says, reaching for the handle of his door.

Tinania looks back and smirks. She walks over "Wait a sec..." she places her hand on his cheek.

Damien turns to look at her. "Yes?" he asks.

Leaning up she presses her lips lightly against his without warning him. Her hand lightly caressing his cheek.

Damien was expecting it, actually. He lost the bet, after all. He lets the kiss linger, before pulling away again. "Erm, goodnight," he says softly, and starts to open his door again. "I'll see you at breakfast. . . ." He gives her a departing smile before moving into his room.

Tinania watches him and nods "Yea, see you at breakfast..." she nods also heading into her bedroom. Closing the door behind her she slide down the door. Pulling her knees up to her chest she looks at the scraped knee and just shakes her head before closing her eyes to just sit there and think.

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
Damien is lying in the front yard, staring up at the overcast sky. He loves when it is cloudy. He can smell rain in the air, the crisp smell of nature at work. He smiles and closes his eyes, letting the smells and the sounds play over him.

Emerald Haven, the name his mums gave the large manor when it was completed, is huge. It is beige on the outside, brick, with a sigh hanging in front of it, the name of the home on it in big, bold, emerald green old english lettering. There is a smaller house, the second floors of each house connected by a bridge. The smaller home is inhabbited by the DarkAngels, their own private "wing," as it is commonly referred to.

Off to the side of the main home is a large koi pound, and surrounding the area behind the manor, in a semi-circle, is the beginning of Emerald Forest.

Quote:
Rhiannon wandered along the pathway leading up to the very imposing house. She peered up at it, wondering at the size. The forest behind that she could just see looked mighty intriguing though. She grinned, and carried on, her hands tucked into her jean pockets. She spied someone sitting out front and walked a little faster. The someone turned in Damien and she smiled.
'Hey!' she called, walking towards him.

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
Damien pushes himself into a sitting position, eyes landing on Rhiannon in a matter of seconds. He grins, and stands, striding to meet her.

Not sure if he should hug her or not, he settles on reaching forward to place a friendly hand on her shoulder. "Welcome to Emerald Haven, Rhiannon," he says, gesturing toward the manor. "I wasn't sure if you would come today or not," he admits, the tips of his ears turning slightly pink.

Quote:
'The house is huge,' she states, smiling up at him. He didnt hug her though - had he had second thoughts about what happened last time?
'Why wouldnt I come?' she said, and then hugged him. She wrapped her arms around him and squeezed a little. Well she still liked him anyways.

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
A little relieved - after all, things seem to be staying normal - Damien hugs Rhiannon back, tightly. "I'll give you a tour if you like," he offers, his voice soft again. "Or of Emerald Forest, whichever you want to see first."

Then, he smiles again, feeling a little dumb for saying what he did. "Well, I just thought you might change your mind. . . . I don't know," he says, his voice softer again.

Quote:
She felt like purring...he hugged her back! She tilted her head up towards him;
'I would never change my mind about seeing you,' she said, then blushing, planted a little kiss on his cheek. She pulled away again and looked at the house.
'House first,' she grinned.
'I want to see your room!'

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
Damien blushes at her words, and the kiss. Clearing his throat, he nods though. "Alright. Mum is out. Nyoka instisted on taking her shopping, so we have the house pretty much to ourselves," he starts as he leads her to the front door, really not knowing just how bad those few words could sound.

He opens the front door. Immediately, Faen appears. "Welcomes home, Master Damien. Can I takings your cape?" he asks. He turns his large eyes to Rhiannon. "Welcome, Miss. Would you be likings refreshment?" he asks, smiling eagerly at her.

Damien looks back at Rhiannon. "Erm, this is Faen, one of our house elves," he mumbles.

Quote:
'We do huh?' she just giggled.
'I'm fine actually.' she said to the house-elf.
'But thanks.'
Sati had told Rhiannon that there were house-elves here but she thought Sati was pulling her leg or something. She looked at the little creature curiously.
'Its nice to meet you Faen,' she said politely.

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
Faen's ears droop ever so slightly in dissappointment. Smiling at the elf, Damien unclasps his cape, and hands it to the house elf. Immediately, he perks up. "Thank you, Master Damien!" he squeaks. "It was nice meetings you too, Miss!" he chirps as he runs off to put Damien's cape up.

Damien smiles a little again. "His wife, Emme, is around here somewhere. Probably in the kitchen making lunch or something," he says. "Anyway, follow me," he says, clasping his hands behind his back. He begins the tour of the manor in the living room, then the dining room, the kitchen, and then the library.

The whole of the house is done in black, silvers, greens, and blues. Art is all over the wall, the furniture is dark wood and leather, and comfortable enough to lose yourself in for hours. The floors are covered in thick carpet or shining wood, whatever looks best with the decoration.

When they reach the library, Damien grins. "This is my favorite room," he states. "I've read every book on these shelves."

He looks lovingly at the books. "After this, there isn't much else but my room. Just let me know when you want to go."

Quote:
'How do you not get lost in this place?' she said. She would have held his hand, but he had tucked his hands behind him. So she had just kept lightly touching his arm as he led her around.
'So many books,' she looked around her.
'This is where you disappear to when I dont see you around then?' she teased him lightly.
'And I dont want to go. I want to see your room. And anyways - its not like I could find my way out again.' she laughed

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
"I grew up in here," Damien replies. "It's just second nature to know where everything is. Anyway, most of the rooms are inhabited, so I never mess with them," he shrugs a little, smiling again.

In a bold move, he reaches for Rhiannon's hand. "Yes, this is where I disappear to. It's like a second room to me. I've slept in that chair more times than I have slept in my bed," he admits.

Grinning sheepishly now, he says, "Alright, then we shall complete the tour, then. My room is upstairs."

When Rhiannon is finished ogling the books, Damien leads her up the stairs. He's never let anyone in his room other than family, Tinania included. The thought of her still in Greece, and their small fight, makes him shake his head a little. He opens his door and steps back to allow Rhiannon to enter first.

Here, everything is wood. His four-post bed has vines carved out of it on the post, leaves sprinkled here and there along the vines. The sheets are good cotton, and black to off-set the almost-white wood. His desk is made of the same wood, as is his chest of drawers and the night stands on either side of his bed. On the night stands are pictures of Nyoka, Shina, his mums, and one of Tinania, Aylana, and Krista together.

The room is lighted electically, but the flickering bulbs are like firelight in the cheling fan. Damien prefers dimmer light than most.

"This is it," he states. "It's nothing special, really. But, mum let me pick all of the furniture and things out when I was younger."

Quote:
She blushed, smiling inside at how charming he was - and how sweet. She squeezed his hand back, hoping her palm wasnt too sweaty.
'Oh its really nice in here.' she looked around, then let go of his hand and sat on his bed and bounced on it.
'This is my first time in a guys room,' she said, grinning.

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
Damien strides over to his bed and sits with Rhiannon. "You're the first girl to be in this room," he says. "Besides, you know, my family," he ammends.

"And, thank you," he says, referring to her comment about his room. He puts his hands in his lap, unsure of what he should do now. He's a little weary of this feeling he is getting around Rhiannon. He doesn't know what he should do around her anymore, and he is second-guessing every move he makes, every comment he makes. . . . He's not used to that.

"So . . . what do you want to do?" he finally asks her.

Quote:
'Well I am glad.' she stated.
'Well I mean...err that you havent had tons of girls in here and..'
Nope that didnt sound right either.
'Umm just forget I said anything just then ok?' she looked at him. She didnt want him to think that she was insanely possessive or something. After all - she didnt have any right to be did she? She nudged him with her arm;
'What you thinking about?' she asked. She wasnt about to answer his question because what came to mind as they were seated on his bed...well there was simply no way she would say it!

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
Damien blinks at Rhiannon's stuttering. Seeing a good opening for teasing, he leans a little closer to Rhiannon, grinning mischiefously. He takes a moment to realize that she is one of the few people that bring this side of him out. "Nyoka said she was going to send some of the Amazon dancers here soon," he says. He then chuckles, shaking his head.

He then cocks an eyebrow at Rhiannon. "Well, I merely meant that you were the guest today. So, whatever you wanted to do, we could," he replies, his innocence all but glowing around him. He has no idea why that little question would even make anyone's mind spin to less the puritan thinking.

Quote:
'Nuuu!' she squealed, finding herself feeling a huge pang of jealously at even the thought of it.
'Dont tease me so..' she said, covering her face and her flushed cheeks. She peeked at him through her fingers;
'Really anything?' she asked, an impish look appearing.

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
Damien chuckles at her blush, the grin still on his face. He decides it best not to push his luck at the moment, though, and does not say anything else on the matter.

However, his grin falters a bit at her look, unsure of how he should take it. . . . "Well, anything, I suppose," he says, raising a slanted eyebrow again.

Quote:
'Just so mean. Talking about hordes of prettier girls then me coming into your room,' she dropped her hands, and lightly placed one on his leg closest to her.
'Ahh so a kiss would be completely out of the question then?' she teased him, smiling.

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
"Don't put yourself down like that," Damien starts. "You're far more beautiful than any of the Amazons I saw," he resists the urge to blink at his forwardness, but wonders when the heck he grew a spine. . . .

He is soon smiling again, though, and says, "Well, as you are the guest, and I am the host, I am here to serve you. . . . If you want a kiss, I can help with that," he resists the urge to blink yet again, and mentally shakes his head. Apparently, he isn't shy around Rhi anymore. . . .

Quote:
'I am?' she blinked a little, but appreciated the compliment very much. She leaned in closer when he said about the kiss.
'Oh so you like kissing me huh?' she said, her voice a litte husky.

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
The tips of Damien's ears turn pink, and he swallows. "Well," he starts. He pauses a moment, figuring out how much he wants to say. "Yes, I do," he finally admits, giving a small, almost sheepish smile.

Quote:
'Oh thats good,' she whispered, turning a little on the bed and running a hand along Damien's jawline. She stroked along his cheek, touching his lips with the tip of a finger and leaned in closer so that their noses touched.
'I like kissing you to,' she said softly, feeling a tiny bit of heat rise with in her.

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
Damien keeps his eyes locked on her as he tenses just a little. Would he ever get used to this? He swallows again as his hand, as though it has a mind of it's own, snakes to rest on the small of Rhiannon's back.

Deciding not to just sit there this time, Damien leans in to lightly press his lips against Rhiannon's.

Quote:
She was pleasantly surprised when he intitiated the kiss this time, and she put her arms around his shoulders, locking them behind him as she kissed him back. Her lips moved against his, softly and then sometimes harder as the heat within grew. She finally broke the kiss, breathing a little hard and looking into his eyes;
'You just get better at that you know.' she smiled, gently nipping his bottom lip oh so lightly.

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
This kiss was a bit different from the ones before, and he feels that odd, very unwelcome, tickling in his gut.

Needless to say, he is a little relieved when Rhiannon pulls away, even though he doesn't want her too. And, the nibble is just enough to make the tickling sensation grow a bit stronger.

He smiles at the compliment, however, and tries to toss that feeling out of his gut. "I had an excellent teacher," he says in a soft voice. "If you keep nibbling on me, we might have a situation ver similar to the one the other day. . . ." he informs Rhiannon.

Quote:
'Ahh,' she giggled a little, reluctantly pulling away.
'I guess that would be a bad thing huh?' she nodded. It was way too early for her be simply leaping on him. No matter how she felt when she was kissing him.
'Well we'll just sit here all quietly...and talk. And I wont kiss you. Okay?' she winked.

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
"It's not the kissing that does it," Damien says, smiling in an embarassed manner.

He manages to wave it off, and reaches to put an arm around her shoulders. "Well. . . ." he starts, pausing. He tries to think of something that will get them back into the . . . well, whatever frame of mind they are in. "Whenever you are ready, I want to show you the centaur village. . . ." yes, that is a safe subject, right?

Quote:
'Oh its not?'
She held back the burning question of what it was that did it. She moved over a tad and leant into him, enjoying being with him like this. It was nice and he was nice..
'Oh I was going to say..' she started, then listened to him.
'Centaur village? That sounds fun.' she said, intrigued.

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
"You were going to say what?" Damien asks, intrigued as well. "And, the village is fun. You should like it."

Quote:
'Oh just..'
She wasnt sure how to say it. Might as well just spit it out though.
'You remember I said about Cyrus? I dont think there's any chance of there being anything between us.' she picked at her jeans.
'I just...I dont know why - I wanted you to know.'
