[&&When The Pain Comes]
Hanaka listened closely, giggling when he mentioned his dry humor. Yeah, she was hurting. No, she'd never felt this much pain or emotion even. And yeah, she was convinced she'd fallen head over heels for the male often glared at. And yeah, she was content with that. "Thank God..." She uttered. She heard a jingle and looked down at the ground and saw a bell. She smiled at it, then finally gained enough strength to look at Mercutio. "Thanks Mercy," she whimpered, "for everthing." She leaned up, her legs still hissing in pain, and licked his nose. She grabbed the bell and managed to get it on her head with a grin.

Mercutio, not shying away from her licking his nose, touched his nose against hers and smirked at the bell around her neck. Though it was a present he had meant to give her for the holidays, now was the perfect time for her.
"I'm sorry," He said softly, though he knew that she probably knew he was sorry for all of this. He had courage enough to voice so much of his emotions, he might as well continue. "Flower, you know how much I want to start my own pack...I want- I want you to help me as something much more than just my friend."

Hanaka's smile grew bigger with every word he spoke. She giggled, licking his nose again, "Have no worries, Mercy! You can count on me to help you." She pawed at his nose, "Now I can call you lover boy, right?" She asked with a giggle, to ease up any nerves -- hers and his. She sat up, ignoring every threat she recieved from her leg. She laughed out loud when a thought crossed her mind, "Your mom is going to have lost her marbles at this pairing." She said with a giggle. "But that's okay. Sometimes the less marbles you have, the more amusing you are."

"Good and..." He paused, contemplating that nickname. "Yeah, whatever, go ahead." He chuckled at that and shook his head, tensing up at the mention of his mother. His vengeful, scheming and vindictive mother who everyone told him he was like.
"Kurai..." He shook his head at Hanaka. "Unlike my sisters and Freya, Kurai lets me do as I please because I remind her of herself but I'll tell her soon about...us...soon but not now. She's still ticked at Dice for some reason."

Hanaka smiled. "No worries, lover boy," She giggled, "time will make it's way." She licked his nose and realized she was freezing cold and that snow was falling. "I am SO COLD!" She squealed, jumping to her feet only to howl in pain. "Augh! I think I broke something." She whimpered, collapsing to the ground. She huffed and laid her head on Mercutio's paw.

"Come on, I'll carry you back inside." Mercutio suggested, laying down beside her. "If you've hurt yourself, you need to rest. This is what you get from being clumsy!"
He nudged his nose against her paw. He was actually enjoying the cold out here but if she was feeling cold, he'd gladly take her inside to the warmth.

Hanaka shook her head. "No, that's okay." She said, "As long as you lay next to me to keep me warm, I'll gladly stay out here. It's pretty." She said with a grin, looking at him. "Hey, I may be clumbsy, but I have fun!" She exclaimed, her tail wagging as she looked out at the snow covered trees. She'd say the trees looked pretty... if they weren't dead. She ignored the thought and focused on the beauty.

He repositioned himself next to her and laid his tail overtop hers. He smirked slightly and nodded in agreement.
"It is pretty out here...peaceful almost." He looked out at the snow and the gently falling snow and felt himself imaging running over the hills as wild as can be. He stood as if compelled by some great force and walked a few steps ahead of Hanaka. He threw back his head and let out a low, almost mournful howl that echoed around them.

Hanaka watched Mercutio get up and howl. She tilted her head to the side, unsure of why he had. But never the less, grinned at him. She wagged her tail, not bothering to questioning his motive. It was too nice out to bother with hit. Instead, she laid her head on her fore paws, blowing into the snow. She giggled when it shot back at her and landed on her nose.

He finished howling, satisfied with it.
"A good howl every now and then is exciting!" He turned to look at Hanaka and noticed her blowing into the snow. He rolled his eyes and barked at her.
"Are you blowing snow bubbles? I don't think that may work..." He said curiously as he circled around her and plopped down into the position he had been in once before, before he had had the urge to just howl. He laid his tail atop hers and nestled into the snow; comfortable at once

Hanaka giggled. "I'm sure it is, Mercy." She responded, her mind focusing on the amusment of the snow. She blew into it again, this time harder resulting in snow all over her face. She giggled again. "If snow wasn't so cold, I'd love it so much." She commented absently, pawing the snow off her nose. She giggled and looked at Mercy, wrapping her tail with his. "Just try it. It's fun!" She nudged him with another giggle.

Mercutio stared at her as she giggled and he slowly smirked. Though it was a pup's game to blow in the snow like that, she made it look strangely fun and oddly cute.
"You have to ignore the cold and at any rate, when your limbs numb up...it'll be like you're on a tropical paradise. I love the snow...," He paused, staring at her intently. "It's simply amazing."
He moved his tail back and forth with hers and bent his nose into the snow. Snorting softly into the snow, he was surprised as the snow flew up and covered his face

Hanaka smiled at Mercutio, slightly amazed at his sincerity and lack of sarcasm. Of course, it was okay with her. She liked him, softness and all. She giggled when he blew into the snow. "See! I told you it's fun!" She commented, her ears perked up with pride. She giggled and blew into the snow again, this time a tad to hard and a big pile smacked back at her and Mercutio. She wagged her tail rapidly and pawed at the snow, as if to fight it.

Mercutio sneezed and shook his head as the snow Hanaka had blown into attacked them both. He peeked one eye out of the snow that covered his face and stared at her, laughing at her antics to get the snow cleared away from her face. He leaned over and began to lick the snow off carefully.
"I don't know what I'm going to do with you Flower. Are you colder now that the snow has attacked us?" He asked, continuing to lick her; more for his own enjoyment than to help get the snow away. Now that his feelings were out in the open to her, he didn't feel nervous at all about being so close to her anymore or nervous that someone may see them. "This may come as extremely random but if I told you that I loved you, would you believe me?"

Hanaka giggled at Mercutio. She thumped her tail, happily -- but of course. She smiled and closed her eyes, to reduce the chances of his tongue getting in her eye. She listened to him, giggling at his remark with a nod. She was quite cold, but that was okay. She was with Mercutio and that was where she wanted to be - warm and frigid.
Hanaka was caught off guard when he mentioned the all awaited 'L' word. Yeah, she wanted to hear it desparatly, but it just shocked her... even when she expected, or rather hoped, it. She smiled at him, placing a paw on his. "Of course, Mercy. And would you believe me if I said I love you to?" she said, a sly, excited grin forming on her face.
