Opening her eyes Fuega stared out the entrance before sitting up, her paw resting on her chest. There it was again, that strange stirred feeling. Like her heart fluttered and it was hard to breath. "N.....no long...alone....." She whispered, the truth settling in.

Kutai wrapped his tails around Fuega's body, feeling that she felt a-flutter at his words. "Yes...no longer alone..." he said, nuzzling against her softly.

Leaning in towards him she closed her eyes, "What have you done to me.." The words were not bitter. They were soft and relaxed, a statement of wonder. "Never would I have thought I would let one so close. To touch me. To be near me. It was a alien thought. Something I hated......so much of a change this is....."

Kutai raised himself a bit and placed himself in front of Fuega. "I've opened your heart...your empty heart...and filled it with love. I have poured my love into yours...and now you've come to accept it." he whispered softly, nuzzling her still.

"It is still a scary thought. So strange to me... as is much of this world beyond just trying to survive." She sighed, "I don't know what it is to be 'normal'. To be seen beyond .......a beast."

Kutai leaned in a little more, his nose touching hers. "Normal is simply a perspective...humanely is what it truly is, to be in touch with your heart, your mind, and your soul...you have a beautiful soul, it was merely draped in a gown of hatred...now you are free, and can finally open up to others.."

Her head jerked back as she shuffled to a sitting position again, "Wha......" Her braids fell around her neck and shoulder from the sudden movement. "Just a few days ago you were calling me 'beast'. And now you say I am beautiful...."

Her eyes darted from here to there as she thought. When she finally looked at him, "Do....do you....love me?"

Kutai's expression went neutral. He looked deeply into her eyes, and then nodded.

She breathed deep then almost groaned, "I think my heart stopped...." A paw held her chest as she breathed. It was strong, what ever feeling it was.

Kutai slowly let his paw drift across her cheek slowly. "Do you feel the same way?" he asked, his heart pounding like a drum in his chest.
