Hao held his mate and kissed his neck "this year christmas is going to be perfect, i know it will, I am sharing it with one of the people i love most in this world, I know that this year will be different." He said happily as he held his mate swimming with him in a circle, due to boredom of being in one spot though he made sure not to let go of his mate, he wasnt about to break that promise now.

" Hmm. Yeah. This year nothings going to go wrong." Chi said, planning to make this christmas one to remember. Tensing as they moved, the fox pressed his ears to his head. Though, he soon relaxed. " Hmm ... want to go for a swim ?"

"I dont think I would even care if it did go wrong, I have you dont i? Even if everything did go wrong I would still have you so it would not be a complete loss if a loss at all" he said to the fox as he nuzzled him. "Now about this swim, I would love to but are you sure your ok? I mean I have been holding you all this time do you think your up for it?" he asked the fox not wanting to let him go as he knew his views on water.

" Then. We will have the best christmas ever. No matter what happens. " The fox said, then looked around the lake, then back to Hao. " I'm ok ... the banks not far away ... plus your around ... and well. ... it can't be that deep. " Chi said, looking down into the water for a moment. Then back to the mer. " I'm sure about it "

Hao stopped swimming and bit his bottom lip and took a deep breath and exhailed and kissed his mates forehead "I will be here if you need me, be careful ok sweetheart?" he said as he let go of the mer, swimming back a distance yet holding onto his hand, not wanting to let him go completely unless he was totally sure of his surroundings.

Chi gave a small nodd of his head, feet were soon kicking harder as the mer moved away. He really did want to learn how to swim so he could spend more time in the water with the mer. " Ok .. " To start with, the fox began to sink. But, a moment after, he was able to stay above water without the mers help. " Coming ?"He asked as he slowly started to swim forward.

Hao felt a bit more releived when he saw his mate was ok and started smiled at him "of course" he said as he dived under the watedr and then swam up as hard as he could and dived up into the air and back down again, he loved the feel of being so free. Hao loved Chi and wanted to hold him always but still he was a mer and his heart did belong to sea mostly...well...any bit of water actually but still he just loved this feeling of being free.

Chi continued to swim forward for a moment more. But his gaze rested on his mate as he vanished under water, only to surface not long after and was up in the air. So graceful. He'd never try to keep him out of the water. A few moments later, the fox vanished underwater. Only surfacing a moment later on his back, floating along slowly. " Now this ... is much more fun .. " Chi said, allowing himself to float about in the water.

Hao came back up to the surface and looked at his mate smiling "see, waters not that bad once you get used to it" he said to his mate as he swam over to him on his back and just floated on his back with him.

" Your right. Well. Waters one thing to cross off my fears list." The fox said, turning his head slightly to he could see his mate. Slowly, he raised his hand from the water and took hold of the mers. " I could get used to this. We have to have our own pool now." He said happily.

Hao held the foxes hand and smiled at him "we definatly will, I am also thinking of maybe a jacuzzi or something also. The parents might as well have a place to relax after heir children have been put to bed" he said happily, smiling softly to the fox.

" Hmm. A jacuzzi sounds good. " Chi said, he'd grown rather fond of using Regans whilst he was out. " It sounds perfect. We'll have all that one day. Kids. A home. A pool. Jacuzzi." The fox said. " Now ... what else ... " He mumbled, trying to think of something else that would make their home perfect. " A garden ... filled with flowers ... "

Hao grinned at the Fox "a garden will be totally perfect! For you and I and I guess I can hire a gardner also which shouldnt be all that bad. If we can hire a gardner then we dont need to worry about how to keep it beautiful because god knows I have no green thumb." He said giggling "do you mind if we hire a gardner? I can easily pay for it but if you dont think we should waist the money on one I dont mind starting to learn how to garden, it might be fun" he said as he looked at his mate and pulled him closer to him as he held him s best as he could on his back

Chi nodded. " The perfect place to play and have picnics." He said thoughtfully. " We could hire a gardner if you wanted. But I'm more than happy to tend to the flowers and keep green things in order. " He said, ears flicking water off themselves, onlt to be soaked once more. " I can teach you. It'll be fun. He allowed himself to be pulled towards his mate, then lifted his head slightly to rest against Hao's shoulder. " You've taught me to swim. I want to teach you to garden."

Hao rested his head agiesnt his mate and smiled to himself "then I shall let you teach me how to garden, I guess i should learn how even if its just tending to the roses mostly" he said as he lifted his head and kissed his mates forehead and settled his head back down in the water and snuggled into him as best he could.
