Lucia scowled and glared at the raevan she was holding. Zul mentioned her name...what was it? Sevilin. The girl's long hair was wet and pressed against her body. She was still halfway in water. She was soaked. She was pissed. And now she was in pain.

Her eyes squinted and she gasped as a slender and sharp elbow dug into her chest. Pulling one arm tighter around the frei she grasped the offending elbow and pulled it back, holding it securely without pulling so far it would hurt. "Sevilin. Stop. You're hurt." She surveyed the situation. Josh seemed to have LuLu under control. "Lets go sit down over there." she said, and without waiting for a reply, she began dragging the frei towards a lounge chair. Sitting the fairy down, Lucia released him and floated to look at him. "You can go home, but you're going to need to get checked out at a hospital or something." The kitten, once again, plastered on a half-smile. "I'm Lucia. Are you okay?" The important thing was diffusing the situation. Later she could figure out what the hell happened and whom she supported.

And just like that, she was the LuLu Ebony had grown accustomed to seeing, albeit a little more mussed and miserable than normal. At the girl's sniffling and her guardian's gasp, the woman's grey eyes zoomed in on the injury. The rabbit didn't seem to be able to move the arm at all and it was obviously giving her a lot of pain.

"Dislocated shoulder." Ebony said as she crouched down next to the girl who just a moment prior was willing to do her bodily harm. "I can relocate it, but you'll have to hold her still Josh. And then take her to the hospital straight away just to be safe."

There were signs of deep remorse and hesitation in her stone colored eyes. With a sigh, "I'm sorry LuLu. This is going to hurt a lot, but at least then you'll be able to move your arm again." And with that the British woman took the bunny's injured arm gently as possible and lined it back up to its normal position before quickly snapping the joints back in place, a sickeningly hideous audible crack sounding.

Rivener couldn't believe he'd just witnesses that. Much like Zul, the Scorpion was stunned and shocked, so much that he'd just sat there with wide eyes watching the drama unfold. Lulu and Sevilin, fighting in the kiddie pool? A crowd of people had rushed forward to break it up, and now it seemed to be over, but-... Sev was screaming out his wish to go home, and Rivener felt a strong pang of guilt. The sea fairy hadn't wanted to come here, and it was Riv and Zul who'd forced him...

Ignoring the fact that Lucia was sitting with Sevilin at the moment, hoping the kitten wouldn't take too much offense, Rivener got up and moved closer, frowning in concern. "Sev..." Only for a second did the red eyes flick to Lucia self-consciously, wondering what the girl's reaction to his presence was. "Sev, if you wanna go home, I can take you. When you're ready. Just let me know, okay? I'll be over on my chair." The Scorpion gave a tentative smile. He didn't want to push the frei to leave now if he wanted to talk to Lucia for a bit, perhaps complain about whatever had started the fight.

Riv went back to his seat and put on his jacket again, preparing to leave. He frowned and glanced over at Lulu, checking on her as well. She seemed to be in mild pain, but Ebony and Josh would be able to take care of her. The Scorpion had seen it all: she'd splashed Sev playfully with the watergun, and Sevilin hadn't taken it well AT ALL. In Riv's eyes, it was Sev who was in the wrong: he was just grumpy and took his displeasure too far. If Rivener had known about Sevilin's "allergy" to fresh water his opinion might be different...

Sevilin reluctantly agreed, happy in the end to sit under his own weight on the plastic beach chair. His glittering life essence was smeared and dried all overhis face and clothes, though it was hard to really tell it apart from regular water. Oh s**t!

"L-Lucia..." Ow, it hurt to talk. "I... I need a towel right now! I.. I hafta get this water off me! I need--" It was no good to look around, his vision swam with every quick turn of his head.

"I can't go to the hospital.... We dun have insurance--Where's...? Is...? ah--" Riv came to him and he did his best not to scowl. If a certain Mexican and his bum chum had just listened to him, all of this could have been avoided. "... 'kay. No wait! Can...? is Alex... here?" If he had to go to the hospital, he'd much rather it be with Alex than his guardian.

Josh gasped, “Dislocated what now?” His face was filled with horror at the mention of an injury that horrific. Nevertheless, he did as he was told. Both of his hands securely held LuLu down to prevent her from getting hurt any further. As Ebony prepared to relocate the bone, Josh could feel his stomach knotting. He had seen plenty of injuries like this. Heck, he had been competing in sports since he would walk. However, no one this dear to him had ever been in the position of the victim. He almost felt regretful now when his teammates and he would quietly cheer when an opponent was inured.

LuLu flinched when the purple haired woman drew closer. Ebony mentioned that it would be painful. The rabbit had her doubts. It had been painful when the arm was dislocated. What could be even mote painful than that? The frei cringed as Ebony realigned the bones. LuLu had a moment of smugness. This was not so bad.

Then a crack echoed in her ears.

LuLu shrieked. It was from a mixture of pain and the fear that Ebony had somehow managed to break her even further. Soon, though, the rabbit quieted down when she had regained feeling in her limb. It was a mixed blessing. She enjoyed that she could move her finger tips again; on the other hand, she could feel a pain radiating through out her entire arm and chest.

Josh sighed and released LuLu. His brown eyes met with stone gray ones. His response was cautious, “Thank you Ebony… I am sorry LuLu caused so much trouble. I will take her to the hospital now.” Josh picked the bunny girl up gently and carried her towards the parking lot.

LuLu had to be carried into the party earlier that day and now she also had to be carried out in a similar fashion.

The demon floated around the pool as a mass of people and half-bodies seemed to graviate towards the battling Frei's, he himself at a slightly slower pace. Zul wasn't panicked, persay, as he didn't understand the cause for the sudden brawl and it seemed they were okay. He moved behind Ebony and watched LuLu with great concern in his brilliant blue eyes, fingers extending towards her as Josh picked her up and falling just short of her shoulder, instead brieflly touching her hair and ear before they were gone.

Knowing the young man would take care of his precious bunny, he quickly floated to Sevilin, grabbing a towel - whose, he didn't know, and in that moment, it truly did not matter - and slinging it around the fairy's shoulders. "Sev," he crooned the name softly, his concern a bit more obviously spoken for the blue-haired boy.

There was a stream of words in Italian followed by a barely breathed 'Sevilin!' before Alex was wrapped around Sevilin in a tight, protective embrace. "My sweet, oh my--I'm gonna kill him!" Her hands enforced the towel around his lithe body before lifting to wring out his hair, holding it as far to the side as possible without hurting him (and being very mindful of the agitated red spot where LuLu had tugged). She'd been late to break up the fight, as being a mere human on the opposite side of the pool, running was slower going and slippery.

Alex leaned down, drawing her hand over his cheek in a gentle, flighty touch. "Sev, sweetie, what do you want to do? I'll take you to the hospital if you want, or...the beach, I really don't know which would be better for you right now..." And if not, straight to Kyou, she added inwardly, but wouldn't voice that. She wanted to give Sevilin some 'control' over the situation, knowing he was angry. We`rika had better have a life or death excuse for not being with his charge when it was obvious to her that the Frei badly needed his presence...

With his woman giving off enough angry heat to dry anyone in the vicinity, Zul retreated from the scene, eyes briefly skimming over Rivener and Lucia. The demon floated off to the opposite side of where the majority of people were, looking out to the road. Things had gotten entirely too complex and dramatic for him to understand, making him long for the simplicity of being with the Sigel on his own. He didn't know if he actually had a heart, but where it should have been, ached. Too much had happened and he'd had too little time with his friends.

Sevilin looked up at Zul, his friend, and pulled the towel tight around his body, tears starting anew. He had been so bratty to Zul and yet he still came willing to help, like any good friend. "Thank you..." He did his best at drying himself of the fresh water with shaky arms, but the sea fairy was relieved when a familiar body brought him close and the last of his composure fell.

He bawled against Alex, making his head and nose hurt all the more, but he couldn't stop. He clung to her desperately until he was completely exhausted. "I... .... I.. I dun care... I jes... I jes dun wanna be here anymore..." He almost felt bad for what Alex was going to do to We`rika when she found him. Almost.

Lucia looked around for a towel and smiled at Zul when he brought one over. She tried to help pat Sev down. It was easy to ignore the situation with Rivener when she was so worried about something else. Even glancing up at him when he offered to take this girl home hadn't hurt. Maybe she just wasn't thinking about it while she was so preoccupied.

Who's Alex? she wondered as Sevilin asked, kind of feeling helpless since it seemed she knew so few people. And then, right after Zul came with the towel, Alex was there. Lucia smiled as Sevilin and Alex hugged. While she sensed that she was really no help to Sev and no longer needed in this situation, she still wanted to help. She took the frei's long pony tail gently in her hands, wincing at the silvery blood coming from a small bald spot on her head where the hair had obviously been ripped out, and gently wrung out the water as best as she could. Sevilin's desire to go home was apparent and Lucia touched the fairy's elbow and gently squeezed a goodbye as she floated up and out of the way.

The woman sighed heavily as she stood back up, an arm wiping the sweat from brows. It wasn't from the heat, which was slowly dying down now as the afternoon began shifting towards an early evening, but from the dreadful knot in the pit of her stomach. Nothing like a Raevan fight to bring all her worries and fears spinning back in her face.

"Please do call me later to know how she's doing!" Ebony yelled after the departing pair. Something akin to fatigue was grating are her nerves now, but there was still lots to be done it seemed, the Brit spinning around to search for the sea Frei. Was he all right?

Her eyes finally fell upon him, surrounded by several Raevans and an unfamiliar dark haired woman of whom the fairy was crying his heart to then. She would have gone over to make sure he was okay herself, but now didn't seem the time. Besides, she could always called Sevilin later to make sure he was.

Ebony turned towards the DJ booth and gave the man there a cutting gesture, the music stopping abruptly. Lithe fingers pulled through her long, still wet violet hair, the slight movement causing her to wince again due to the cuts on her shoulder.

Kuna had been enjoying a peaceful swim through the pool for quite a while now. At least until the shrill screams of the life guard's whistle went off. Curious as to what was going on, she surfaced for more than just a breath this time and turned to see the fierce splashing battle that was taking place in the kiddie pool. It seemed that two of the half-bodies had gotten into it over something and were unwilling to break it up. The green-haired woman would have gone over to help, but she was all the way on the opposite side of the pool and there were already many others going to break up the fight. So instead she simply watched to see what would happened.

The fight didn't end right away after the two were split up, for the two continued on verbally for a little bit, the blue-haired one using obscenities she'd heard fairly often at work. They seemed completely out of place though coming from the mouth of one so innocent looking. Perhaps I should take my leave from this place, Kuna thought to herself as she made her way out if the pool, still watching as the two's injuries were tended to. There is still much of Gambino to visit anyway. She made her way over to her chair to towel off, casting a faint smile to the nearby Rivener who seemed to be packing up. It looked like much of the party would be leaving soon after such an event. Pity. I still haven't found out what these creatures are called. Perhaps in the future then.

Rivener had been about to go fetch Alex when he saw the woman heading this way. Quick as that, Sevilin's wish was granted and the sea fairy was wrapped up in the Italian's barely-clad arms. She was doing a good job of wringing him out, and while Riv didn't quite get why it was important to get the blue frei dry, he could clearly see that it was doing some good. Sevilin began crying then, and Riv frowned in self-hatred. He'd thought this would be a GOOD idea, but he'd only made Sevilin's day much worse.

Leaning down, Riv placed a hand on Sev's shoulder lightly. "I'm sorry, Sev, I shouldn't have... I shouldn't have made you come. If Alex can take you home, then I'm glad." Smiling sadly, the Sigel straightened to leave the poor sea fairy alone.

Sighing, Rivener floated over to Zul, standing on his own apart from the crowd. If Alex was leaving soon, it stood to reason that Zul would go too. As he neared, Riv tilted his head and gave a sheepish lopsided grin. One hand lifted to thread fingers through the short cream-and-amber hair and, not caring of where they were (since most folks would be watching Sevilin), Rivener leaned down to kiss the demon lightly, a quickly-stolen brush of their lips. "I guess that wasn't a good idea, huh. And now you'll probably be going... But I was glad you came today. And I'm glad we got to go on that bus trip together. I like being around you very much."

The Scorpion pulled Zul into a short hug, letting out a contented sound. "Call me, okay? So we can see each other again soon."

Aphismet had followed Alex about half-way there before he slowed, frowning in concern. Both himself and the black-haired woman were dripping wet, and in passing a random reclining chair Aphi had grabbed a few extra towels. He handed another to Alex when the one she used on Sevilin became too damp to dry properly anymore. "Here, a dry one," he said quietly. "Is he alright?" The chef placed a hand on Alex's back to offer support without getting in the way, ready with a third towel should she need it.

Blue eyes flicked to the side at the sight of the approaching Sigel. A quick and pleased grin surfaced as Rivener floated near, head tilting back into the fingers lacing through his hair, receiving the kiss and returning it chastely. The Scorpion definitely had his number, knowing just wear his weak point was and exploiting it - not that the demon minded, of course! His fingers ghosted over the elder Raevan's stomach, but at the words spoken, his brows lifted and he gave Rivener a one arm embraced, one hand lifting to cup the Sigel's face.

"Sometimes, we need that push," he said solemnly, "and to be surrounded with friends." Goodness knows he had needed it, even if he was starting to feel bad for himself that he was going to be without those smiles and warm presence shortly. Bone wings flapped and turned his back towards the majority of the gathered, allowing him to take one of Rivener's hands within his own and kiss the ringed fingers in modest privacy. "I would like to see you soon."

The woman accepted the fresh towel with a warm smile and a soft, 'Thank you,' before carefully peeling the wet one off of Sevilin and putting it aside, wrapping him up in the sun-warmed one. Drawing the Frei in her arms again, rubbing her hand over his toweled back, she tilted her head to look at Aphismet, comfortable beneath his reassuring touch. "He's hurt," she admitted, giving Sevilin a light squeeze, "but I have a feeling it's not just from the last few minutes." Alex had never, ever seen the fairy so despondant, and it broke her heart. What had made him so miserable to sit on his own? He hadn't smiled at all today! Hadn't he been through enough...?

Standing and wringing her own hair out, she leaned briefly against the chef and kissed his cheek, murmuring softly, "I'll call you." She paused, green eyes hesitating before she gave a small smile. "I'm glad you were here. Our swim was just what I needed." And she left it at that, retwining her arms around Sevilin and nestling him near as if she wasn't nearly naked. "Off to the hospital first, Sev, see if we can't get your nose a-okayed," she purred soothingly into his hair, "and then to the beach for a bit. Maybe it'll help." And maybe she just wasn't ready to face We`rika without a foot or fist lashing out.

Rivener smiled at Zul, rustling his wings softly at the small kiss to the Scorpion's knuckles. From beyond Zul, over his shoulder, Rivener could see Alex look like she was readying to leave. "I will make sure we see each other soon, then. Alex looks like she's gonna go... I'll miss you, my Zul."

Riv had been about to just pull his hand away and let the demon go, but at the last moment he gave a shrug and leaned in for another short kiss, leaning his forehead against the other's for a second, staring into the stark blue eyes from very up close, smiling. "See you soon."

Giving the demon his freedom again, Riv crossed his arms and floated back a few feet. Now that Zul would leave, Riv thought he'd probably like to go home too. The best part, in his opinion, was done. Sighing in mild contentment, Riv headed for Aphismet.

Aphi smiled softly at Sevilin and Alex. The frei was hurt? Where was Werika in all this? Brown eyes glanced around quickly, but there was no sign of the Huichol. By the soft fire in the green eyes, Aphismet somehow thought the mexican would have hell to pay shortly. The chef's gaze fell back on the two, sympathetic and concerned.

Alex got up soon after with the small Raevan in her arms. The kiss to Aphi's cheek sent a mild flush to his cheeks but he smiled happily, nodding. "I'm glad I could help, Alex. I hope Sevilin feels better... Call me if you need anything." With a final brush of his fingers along the Italian's back, Aphismet bade his farewell to the woman and her hurt bundle.

"So, are we going home too?" Rivener asked as he neared his guardian, watching that fond expression with a glint of amusement.

"Home?... Yeah, sure, why not."
Aphismet smiled at the Sigel, shrugging.

The pair headed for their chairs and picked up everything, stuffing it back into the duffel bag. After a final goodbye to a few people, the Delaran pair left the grounds.

The sea fairy ached too much to look up at Rivener, but he nodded slowly to assure him he was listening. ".... is okay. I dun... blame you. We`rika should've... lissened ta me..." Ugh, his broken nose was making his words jumble. That was enough of that then. He eyed Alex to tell her he was ready to blow this joint.

He burrowed closer against her, minding his face and his burning scalp.

The demon watched his Scorpion leave, a small, almost goofy smile on his face. Zul wondered if the fluttery feeling in his chest was anything like the butterfly-syndrome, and once more, he found himself yearning for that knowledge. He floated to meet his woman and Sevilin halfway, taking his post next to the Frei's side and wrapping an arm around him as well. "Will you tell me a story of what happened some other time, Sevilin?" he asked politely.

Alex shot her charge a glance, but said nothing. It would ultimately be Sevilin's decision on what he would and would not tell the two. She wouldn't afford We`rika the same consideration. The Italian had no qualms taking the fairy Frei to the hospital and footing the bill; she had no problems with spending her evening with him at the ocean to make sure he could replenish himself, perhaps even help the healing process; she had no hesitation in giving Sevilin all the affection and attention he deserved.

She did have a problem with We`rika being no where to be seen, and he was going to hear about it. If she'd use words or knuckles, she hadn't yet decided.

The trio made their way out of the party, their day far from over.
