Ragnor's words were in her mind, as well as the tale of the mirror Eckanis. as a creature of the reflecting world, she shared no secrets to this side of the portals.. it made her curious how Cassus had learned of it, when only whispers drifted in the world she came from. mentaly she reached out to sooth Ocelot, helping calm his emotions even as she studied the mirror behind her. it stirred, and she smiled. Latverious.. they are strong. she reachs through the mirror without even knowing it.. . turning away she offered a smile to Xavier, her hand sliding into the mirror. she would get this girl Reks, if only to see what her lord had planned.

Ocelot felt the pounding stop in his head and sighed. "Thank you." He said to himself in a soft tone while trying to relax in the chair.

Looking over to her, Xavier shook his head. You cannot get past his defenses. The man in that castle will catch you, and knowing his fury and devotion, a fate much worse than death will come of it. Of this, I am certain. She must come under a coaxing sense. One that will drive her out of the castle, so that his protection is unable to do its job.

her green eyes laughing she winked at him, sweeping her hand through the mirror twice. " what makes you think ill go to her..?" she could lure even the strongest to her, all it took was one moment of weakness.

He can drag you through that, or destroy every single portal to her. I have seen him do more, for even less of a reason. He is fanatical about his protections.

" you dont know much about the reflecting world.. do you?" still she pulled her hand away, closeing the portal. the reflecting world was a large space.. doors were none exsistant, they had to be made and held.

nodding she agreed, offering soothingly. " i have no knowledge of their family, so i must rely on yours. but if we cannot lure her out this way, what do you propose?" she kept her mind firmly linked to Ocelots, her voice teaseing as she replied. i promised to help. dont thank me.

Ocelot chuckled a bit at this. "Well I thank you anyways. I worry about the boy however. I'm going to go check up on him. If you need me or my services I'll be in the Black Rose Forest." With this thought He got up and walked out to the forest.

" Cassus!" Reks voice was sharp, echoing through the mansion clearly. she didnt pay attention to the light sky, nor the flowers or charming walls.. the blood of the Latverious was in her and it had her in a full grip. suddenly she halted, pushing the doors to the throne room open and stalking towards the center of the room. " Zoey, get out here."
imidately she slid from the shadows, green eyes cheerful as she studied the girl. " Hello Arkia." Arkia, the word for mistress in her native tounge, rolled easily from her as if she had always used it.
" Not in the mood. you promised my mother to look after him, now im adding to that. your a reflecting creature.. you will add your power to help my wish. i want my father back." her voice was rough, as if she was fighting not to yell.
" Cassus will grant that wish.. just do as he asks, Arkia. i did as promised, Bain said protect him and i have done so." still she smiled, unruffled at the girls mood.

Coming up behind Zo, Xavier shot himself in front of her. The young one is to be directed in personably. YOU will not get in the way. His look was enough to kill, and knowing him, he would not hesitate to do it. Right this way, my child, I will take you to Cassus myself, and see that you have a completely, unperturbed entry. His tone was cold as his eyes settled still upon Zo. Cassus was going to be very pleased.

" Zo, stay close." she ordered, giveing the man a once over to measure him up. Zoey was literaly hers, her reflection being. Bain had made a deal with Zo the night Reks was born, and in turn it gave her daughter the title master to the reflected creature. lifting her chin, as any of noble blood would, she nodded firmly. " take me to him."
Zo smiled at Xavier, though it was not in the least bit pleasent. more of a dark promise. " yes, Arkia."

As she entered the mansion you could hear the screaming of Cassus. But it wasn't just pain, it was happiness, pure happiness. In the throne room the armor was seperating from the man and forming a new person
"Now my desire is realized! Here is your father my dear, charred and angry."The body beneath the armor fell to the ground and now another man stood, he had no physical form, he was just the armor that Cassus had previously worn.
"Ah, how wonderful it feels to be one person again. Now my loyal subjects, gaze into the mirror and be granted your inner most desire."Cassus' voice was no longer distorted but clear and arrogant as if he was a human noble. The mirror of Eckis appeared next to Cassus and he seemed to be smiling in triumph.
The body on the floor then began to breath and started shouting in pain with only one thing that was audible.
"Reks, do as I asked! Please!"The man resembled Sergei, but his body was so horribly burned that it was hard to tell.

an odd presence connected to Sergei, a femanine mind shouldering his pain. it was uncontroled, but clear only to him. she screamed in his agony, the image of a girl withering on a worn cot as she pushed into his mind. hold on..
Reks moved forward, Zo takeing a stance at her side. reaching out she touched the mirror, her eyes blazeing.. not at the mirror itself, but at Cassus. " I wish for my father, Sergei and Damian to be one again in his pure self."
Zo pressed a hand against the mirror as well, pain etching her features as she poured her energy into the comand. " I wish her father to have his full powers restored and health returned to him."

The body on the floor faded away and it smiled as it did so. Cassus was too busy taking in his new found power to care and didn't even notice as the voice of Sergei echoed through the halls.
"He's distracted, run my child and take the other women with you. I will find you, I promise, just run."The voice faded away leaving only the voice of Cassus which ranted on about power and everlasting life.
