They won't shoot you. I actually wanted to push towards that. The difficulty with the NAVY is that everyone is going to want a ship of their own and not have any idea how to use it. We have to find a way to make the other positions in a ship's crew attractive too.

I thought they would have to work up to a captains status just like someone would have to work toward Spartan status........ I wouldn't mind having a Pelican pilot, those guys are crazy.

I'll go ahead and make another character. He will be Navy. I don't care what ship you put him on, though I would rather keep all (I hope to eventually have 3) my characters together.

But wouldn't it make more sense to pick the Armored Prayer? xp
I'll get started on my marine first before I make another. Besides, I'm so horrible at names it's not even funny......

It makes no sense to pick the Armored Prayer. xD The Prayer was destroyed!

I edited the profile template anyways. With all the available ships.
Also, I do like the idea of having it so you can do the navy test straight away.
Though, the reason why the marine test is standard, is to show us how well you RP really.

xp I know, but come on, being stationed on a dead ship would be the biggest paperwork blunder possible, and it would be funny. twisted
As for the test, I fully agree with having a test to check peoples skills. You might just make a separate one for Navy and Marines though. I picked the Prayer simply because it was the only one I could find a picture of. xd
Irony put me right in the middle of the biggest s*** storm possible. I'm proud of my ability to find trouble.

The way I read it, you had to take the marine test first before you could try any of the others.

Yeah, you do. It's a sort of...preliminary test, like Smea said, to show us if you're even able to take the other ones.

Why not have two separate entrance exams. One for Navy, the other for Marines. The people that take the Navy exam will NOT have a ship, and they will understand that from the beginning. And also, nobody has anything up about the Navy in the profile thread anyway. You have the Marine and ODST descriptions and that's it.
