Touma laughed. "A slumber party. I'm not sure about that. I don't have any particular place to call home except the forest right now. It's why I was headed here. But you can come along. We are looking for needle and thread to fix Priscilla's clothing. Then we will see about playing a game or something. I'm sure there will be lots to do."
Moving towards the square, Touma was suddenly surprised when the clocktower emitted an odd noise. The beings that came from it were rather odd. His eyes narrowed slightly. Was that what the yokai had been up to? He suddenly wondered if this were a good thing or a bad thing. Ushering Priscilla and Ember to the house of the old woman, he let them enter first as he took a last look at the clocktower. What else was the yokai up to?
Valkon smirked. He knew Watcher was there. That red eye was obvious. Let him watch. The yokai didn't really care. Az was coming back, but exactly how was uncertain. He would have turned to do what he needed to, but noted something in the sky over the center of town. Five birds were circling around. His eyes narrowed as one suddenly moved towards him, the other four following behind. A sudden grin split his face. It was them. Then he noted the sixth one that trailed last. It must be the one he sent.
Holding his arms out, Valkon laughed as each one found a perch nearby. "Well, well, so you finally made it, my friends." He reached out petting Clipper, Knick, Knack, Feyne, and Lenore. Then he touched the sixth one gently. "I'll have to think up a name for you. But later." He have to find somewhere for them to live and then he'd have them start bringing his bones and things here. No sense in leaving his belongings in the dark.
The yokai smiled suddenly turning his attention to her and from the birds when she replied to him. Appealing to her vanity could work a bit. "Yes, I was. My name is Valkon. Lady. I was wondering," he said as he sat down, leaning forwards a little so that she was the only one who could hear his intentions. "if you would be interested in... helping me with.... a friend." Drifting even closer he whispered in her ear explaining what he wanted. "Agreed?" he asked, then he winked at her, caressing a tentacle for a moment before slipping beneath the docks.
The dock was some distance above the water and high enough that he could slip beneath easily without getting wet, but how to place the watch. For a moment he stared at it and then at the wooden planks. His eyes gazed over the entire space of the bottom. Then he saw it. Tangled beneath the dock was a piece of old netting. Why it was there, he had no clue. He did however plan to use it. Moving towards the netting, he carefully placed the object in his hand. There had only been a minor hesitation in his actions.
Now to await another reply from Chronos. Of course he was going to check another way also. After he knew what he would have to do for the next step. This was actually becoming more fun than he had expected.
Hawke flinched when Alnara knocked him down, but he let her help him up. "Watch it." he said in slight annoyance. His sister was still nearby and this would give her something to torment him about. Unless he used it. "It's not like YOU can't see me. But you know what, Alnara, that one there is my sister Fosull." He pointed directly at her with a wide grin. "She and you like alot of the same things. You should go do girly stuffs with her while Tai and I go look for Chief."
With a faint smirk, he glanced at Tai, "Give me a ride so we can find Chief, Tai?" When the lore nodded, he was on his back and holding on tight. The lore took off towards the square, Corviy flying behind them before anyone could stop them. Hawke knew that was an awful trick to play on both the girls but he liked playing pranks. And his sister deserved it. He was all smiles as they began to look for Chief.
Kael watched her silently for a moment. "Of course I plan to make an area for magic study. You are welcome, Jaina. Most welcome." He glanced around at the crowd of ghostlings and humans. "I miss my people too. I don't think there are many of them here. Wherever this is. You are the first I've seen that I know."
"But the tower... it is just outside town. Somewhat ruined in places but those can be repaired. It's tall and large enough that it reminds me of some of those I've been in before. It will do I believe. It is East of here. We can go there now if you would like. I've not really been inside yet, but I think it is empty. At least I sensed noone there."
He turned at the sound from the clocktower and frowned at the beings coming from it. Shaking his head, he said, "More trouble most likely. As if there has not already been enough. But the one thing I have noticed... these humans do not seem to mind us being here. It's almost as if they expected us. Odd."

"Uh-uh,don't think you will get rid of me that easily..." Alnara was a lot of things, but girly was definitely not one of them...well...not much. Alnara quickly jumped up and flew after him,her wings flapped furiously as she caught up with him. She had trained a lot out on the sea when she was a pirate, which made her flying skills very excelled. She had caught up with Hawke and Tai in no time. Alnara smiled at Hawke and waved at him from above. This was kinda fun. She lowered herself and flew along side Tai and Hawke,"So,where do you think Chief is? And I don't really think I would talk to your sister...she looks kinda scary."

Well now, this was something new. In fact, it all was new! She dirfted from the clocktower and along above the roofs, peering about herself in wonder. Why... there was such scope for things here! How exactly she came to be in this spot, she knew not. What had come before she was here, she knew not. All she knew was the here and now, and the delightful possibilities. She swirled excitedly around a weathervane shaped like some kind of bird, making it spin crazily, then soared along the rooftree and plunged down between the houses to bob along just above the cobbles.
There were many beings here. It didn't take long to realize some she could float through, and didn't appear to see her. Others were more like herself, though they looked different. And then there were four-legged or two-winged things that seemed somewhat aware of her, though they didn't seem to think much for themselves. Idly she bobbled along, rising and descending to her own inner beat, as if she had a song in her head that noone else heard. The chatter of humans and ghostlings alike drew her onward, towards the booths and stalls and tents where they congregated.
Her rainbow tail curled and twirled not quite at the same beat as her bobbing, but left trails of wispy color behind her. She drifted for a time uncertainly, small eyes roving the area. A musical clink caught her attention though, and she wafted towards a game booth where even the adults were having trouble landing coins on plates. She wove between them, peering at the plates and the prizes before moving on.
Surely something of worth was going on, that would allow her to become involved in whatever festivity was occuring?
Priscilla had gotten a wide-eyed, almost hunted look when the baby had attatched herself to her in a gargantuan hug. She couldn't help feeling relieved when she let go and informed her of her name. Ember seemed like a decent name, the charm dragon decided silently. Not that it was any of her bsuiness, of course, but still. She blinked a bit at the suggestion of a slumber party. She reflected that she'd never been to one before, and for some reason that made her both sad and shyly eager to have one.
"Oh, why can't we?" she said with a sudden capricousness that it startled her. "I mean, just for tonight, after all the fun?" A niggling thought in the back of her mind tried to remind her that she should be trying to get the child to her parents, but she willfully shoved the thought away. She was feeling the beginnings of what she realized was actually enjoying herself. It was a warm and welcome feeling, and not one she wanted to end. "Surely we could find an attic or some such here in town?" The thought of an attic suddenly seemed quite homey to her. Didn't these humans keep old clothes in their attics?
She dutifully followed Touma to the old woman's house, traipsing like she hadn't a care in the world. That is, until the clocktower chimed and spilled out something. She stared at the drifting forms for a moment, feeling just a touch anxious. Too much was happening tonight, and the sooner they got inside, the better she'd feel. She hustled little Ember along and gladly scooted in the doorway ahead of Touma. Time to set her outfit to rights and hopefully things would have settled down a bit when they reappeared.

Chief wandered about aimlessly. He figured that Hawke must have found some paper by now, so he didn't bother keeping an eye out for any. So many people, so very many. It was awfully confusing. His head hurt a little. Than he wondered if Hawke was even looking for him. He had to be right? Defiantly. He was defiantly looking for him. Right? He gulped. What if he wasn't? Odds weren't great that he could find someone else to help him in this strange world.
Maybe he would bring Alrana. Is that a good or bad thing? He didn't think she would slap him again. As long as he didn't scare her again. Which he probably would. The thought of scaring her made him chuckle. He would just have to be a little more cautious that's all. Just than the clock tower rang and many strange figures appeared. He counted about thirteen or fourteen. He could be wrong though. What could they be? So many questions to be answered. It was making him nervous. "Hello! Hawke? Alrana? Anyone?" He yelled hoping that would lead them to him.
Jewel was having so much fun. Weaving through crowds looking at all the games and their prizes. She giggled much like a little girl. That's what she felt like. Just like a little girl. Well what a little girl should feel like. Not what she felt like when she was young.... and alive for that matter. She never really had fun as a child, most of the time she just sat in her room and stared at the ceiling. She giggled wildly.
In her playfulness she sped away, and didn't notice that she had left Hikaru at the stand. There were now dozens of people between her and her new friend. She was not going to be able to get through. She would have to come back for her later. "Hikaru! I can't get through the people! I'll meet you by the clock tower in a little bit! I'm going to go look for someone for now!" she didn't want to just leave with out telling her. That would be rude.
She than set off to find Percy. Maybe he could provide an explanation for what happened earlier. She was sure he was just nervous, but she just wanted to be sure. It never hurt to ask. Jewel skipped down the road humming a nice little tune. She than noticed several little figures spilling out of the clock tower. She thought they were so cute! They looked like little ghostlings. Even more ghostlings? Well that's just more opportunities to make friends.....and enemies. Jewel didn't very much like having enemies. She very much enjoyed being love by everyone. She wondered if Hikaru would be angry.

"Yay! A part -" Ember's voice cut off and her little eyes went to the sky when the commotion to the clock tower started to spread. "ooo!" She didn't watch the change too long though but hurried along with Touma and Priscilla beaming brightly. "An old woman? She can come to the party too!" Giggling happily Ember skipped along between the two.
One of Azshara's tentacles came up to brush Valkon's cheek, "hmm, well...if I help you with his friend, I'll want some information in return." Her voice was more flat as she meantioned the information. She was more then a bit annoyed at being here as the fisherman had found out.
Her tentacle tightened over Valkon's arm at the caress but soon enough she let him go, a smile came over her face he was entertaining to say the least. Sinking down into the water Azshara shifted her gaze to Valkon watching what he was doing curiously. The eyes of her snakes drifted in various directions waiting for this friend.
Fosull's gaze dropped on the overly pink girl that seemed to be attached to her brother - a grin spread to her face, "Mom, can I ride Samedi so I can keep up with Hawke?" At the nod from her mother the young ghostling jumped onto the Lore's back not wasting time in darting after her brother and his pink friend. She didn't know who Chief was but she intended to find out...and she had collecting to get started on, a wicked grin came to her face watching the cotton candy haired ghostling and she had the perfect idea of who should help her.
Once they paused at the park Fosull looked around, "so what does your friend Chief look like? We could look for him and Lacroix at the same time." She turned some glancing over to her brother at the suggestion.
Loa watched Fosull and Hawke ride ahead on the two Lores a slight rare smile again came to her face; they were young but also strong this was more then acceptable and fitting. She paused her eyes drifting over those brought together with the festival, moving forward she walked among the humans most of them had their attention upon other things and didn't even seem to notice the clock tower. Loa paused near a table with various craft supplies on it, the man that seemed to own the table and it's items was talking to a man that was soaking wet smiling slightly she assumed this was the almost drowned fisherman from earlier.
Most her supplies were back in the darkness...the nowhere so while everyone seemed distracted by other things she took a sturdy bowl from the table and filled it with a few odds and ends. Smiling some she tucked a rather nice inking kit in with the other things before continuing on and heading to the park.
Almost as soon as she let some of her vulnerability over the situation show Jaina regretted it, she didn't want Kael to see that it made her feel weak. Rolling her shoulders in irritation at herself she looked to the blood elf, so long ago she thought. Her eyes shot up to the clock tower and watched it a moment before shifting her gaze to Kael.
"Your likely right...trouble." Standing up more on her own she rested her staff against her shoulder, "lets go see this tower of yours, it might be nice to make a defensive point for ourselves if nothing else." Nodding slightly to Kael, she gave a slight smile and gestured onward, "lead on."

Percy was in his element. He trotted around, peeking in corners, nosing about under benches, and rummaging through random piles of stuff. If anything looked like it could be used in a potion, he tucked it in the pouch. If it was shiny in any way, form, or fashion, he was likely to keep it as well. He managed to find a metallic scarab, a pot of fishy grease, some dried up lizards, a mouse tail, a pair of plastic gold earrings, a handful of dried leaves, a fish head with sharp teeth, and lastly an opaque, sparkly stone. Of course, anything even remotely shiny was for him, and anything else was for the magicker.
He was poking around behind a tall potted plant when a squeak alerted him. He stood up, foxy ears pricked at attention. Was that squeak familiar? He cast about until at last, there he was! With a shout of joy, he bent to scoop the running rodent up into his embrace. Unabashedly he snuggled the rat and kissed his whiskery face. "There you are! I didn't know how to tell you what happened, since I didn't have a say in it happening." He smiled indulgently at his pet. "But aren't you a clever rat, coming to find me!"
He let the rat perch on his shoulder, which surely must have looked odd to the living, since the rat sat on nothing, but bobbed up and down and went to and fro. "I'm on a mission now, working for a prince who does magick," he confided to his furred friend. "So keep your eye out for potion ingredients, will ya?"
Yes, there he was! His little rat nose quivered ecstatically at finding his master. He gave a great squeak of happiness and bounded pellmell for the blue yokai. He leaped into Percy's arms and wriggled joyously within his grasp, giving him ratty kisses back with his whiskers. Oh, it was good to be with his master again! Granted, he'd lost his boot in doing so, but they could always find another, right? And Percy himself didn't seem to mind that Rompastomp was missing his boot.
As pleased as a rat could be, he contentedly settled onto the perch of Percy's shoulder, surveying their surroundings and listening to his master chatter. He didn't quite understand the words, but he got the gist that they were searching for things. Not that that was unusual for the yokai, but this apparently was something more. Rompa watched with interest to discover what exactly it was they were looking for.

Touma nodded. "I suppose we could. Let's see if this old lady has an attic then. We will be here then if she needs anything. She seems to like us around." It was hard not to be excited with Ember bouncing around as she was. As expected he found a needle and spool of thread in the chair where the old lady had been working on a quilt.
"As I thought, Priscilla. A needle and thread." He held up the prize as if they had been on a treasure hunt. "Now let's find the attic and explore what is there. You can sew after we are comfortable." But as he moved towards the staircase, since attics were in the tops of houses, he asked, "What does one do at a slumber party?"
Hawke smirked suddenly at Alnara's statement about his sister. "I thought pirates were not afraid of anything. But you are right. Fosull can be scary when she wants to be. It's what I like best about her."
He glanced over to see his sister riding up. She had one of those up to something looks on her face and he smiled slightly. Then he looked around at her question. "Lacroix doesn't want to be found, Fosull. Don't you know that yet?" Then, "I don't see... There he is. Chief! Over here!" He looked kind of lost, but they'd all figure it out. He was glad to see him. "Dad's down by the docks right now. And he's got the paper and pen."
Kael nodded to Jaina. "This way." Then he said softly, "It's rather odd, isn't it? To know things are so different now?" He really did not expect an answer so much as was thinking aloud.
Leading her down the streets to the outside of town, Kael looked in the east. The outline of the tower could just barely be seen. He smiled faintly knowing that he would once more have a place to ply his magic. And even better, she was here also.
Valkon smirked faintly. "Information on what, my dear? By the way, interesting form you have but few bones I would guess. I suppose I might have to find a sealion carcass or orca. Those could be interesting to use." When he was certain that the watch was in place, he turned back to her, though he was truly waiting on someone else. Perhaps Chronos would send a third message. If not, he'd send one himself.
His crows still sat patiently on the dock waiting for his instructions and now that they had found him, he felt slightly more whole. As soon as the rest of his things were here, he would feel even better. But of course, his crows would bring the rats, and his bones. And the books. Little by little they would bring all his stuff back here. He would need a place for his family to live. With a thought he frowned, but then smiled. There was a tower nearby. It would be suitable for his family. And so long as Fosull was nearby he didn't care where Loa lived, though he was quite certain she would be in the tower too.
His lips twitched. He knew more about her than he really wanted to. Strange how things worked out sometimes. But she was smart except her intelligence was sometimes psychotic.

Alnara chuckled,"We aren't. Except i'm not a full on pirate let me remind you. I may be tough, but i'm still a princess at heart. Your sister does not look like someone to mess with." Alnara watched as Hawke's sister rode up to them, right on cue too, like she had heard them talking about her the entire time and she was waiting for the right moment to enter. Suddenly,Hawke exclaimed about finding Chief and Alnara flew up beside Hawke and Chief and descended and stood next to them. "So now what do we do?" Alnara asked Hawke.

Ember tilted her head looking up the stairs with wide eyes, reaching up she used her little hands to pull herself up the first step as she listened to Touma and Priscilla. "For a slumber party we stay up alllll night! And then we plays games and make pretty things like...Prissy's clothing!" She pulled herself up yet another stair as she talked.
Standing for a moment on the second step up Ember taped her little lip thoughtfully, "and we need cuppy cakes!" She then turned attempting to go up the stairs once again.
Fosull shrugged slightly, "well then I guess Lacroix will find us if he wants to," shifting some on the back of Samedi she looked over the nearby area; spying her mom picking up a few things of use she turned looking over to Hawke and then to his other friend. Hopping down off of Samedi she moved over toward the others curiously watching Chief a moment before giving a bit of a wave. "I know Mum is going to be looking to set up a lab somewhere and she is going to need stuff to make jujus," grinning a bit she looked to her brother and then the other two. "That means she'll need skulls. I saw a few dead things over in the alley we came in at...if we had a couple of big pots we could clean the skulls for her." she shrugs slightly after that, wasn't the prettiest job she figured but it would have to be done plus Fosull found more then a bit of amusement in it.
Loa hadn't moved to rejoin her children in the park yet, her gaze went over toward a nearby stall that still hadn't been fully set up. Moving to the table within her gaze shifted down to several decks on the table; a small smile curled on her lips as she reached down picking up one of the tarot decks. Opening the deck she shuffled through it quickly and frowned - it wasn't right; and then another and another none of the decks seemed right for her purpose.
Loa left the stall in a bit of annoyance leaving a few stray cards here and there as she did. It seemed she'd have to make her own if she wanted something sufficient.
Azshara thoughtfully watched Valkon go about his business, "what is going on here? Awakening in waters that are not my own without my nagas nearby did not settle well for myself." One of her tentacles flickered in the water in irritation as if to illustrate the point.
Propelling herself forward, she finds a comfortable spot along the shore to prop herself up on her arm. "As for your bones, perhaps we could come to an arrangement. Of course if I'm going to aid you, I will require it in turn."
She followed along behind Kael thoughtfully, it was odd and her mind had touched on the oddness in more ways then he probably realized. Their people were gone here...after all the struggles of the living there was now this time and place and of all those that could have been stuck together it would be them. Keeping pace Jaina stayed quiet and introspective...odd was likely too gentle of a word for it.

Thank, god! You guys found me! I was getting a bit worried. He sighed in relief. Chief slithered over to Hawke, Alrana, and a strange new figure he hadn't seen before. Aside from being a bit scary, she seemed very nice and polite, being that she waved. Not wanting to be rude....just yet he waved back. Last time he was a little bit rude from the start he got slapped. That wasn't gonna happen again, not anytime soon anyway.
Alrana's question brought up several of his own. None of which he stated out loud. Hopefully they would resolve themselves. Such as , where were they gonna live, what would they use for protection, who exactly was staying with them? They weren't that important he figured. Hawke's dad must have had some things planned out. He seemed to be the kind of person who always had things planned out in advance. His attention went back to the strange new figure. May i inquire as to who you might be? He stated trying to act as smart as possible.

Fosull looked curiously to Chief, she hadn't met a ghostling like him before and she rather liked the snake tail he had...after all she did like snakes. So she smiled when he looked to her, "I'm Fosull and have the unfortunate luck of being related to Hawke," a slight grin came to her face at that as she peered over to her brother out of the corner of her eye; taking the skull from her head she tipped it in greeting as if it were just a regular hat.
"But as I said we are going to need to start gathering supplies," her attention went to Hawke again before back to Chief, "think you might up for it?" She could probably collect what Loa would want on her own, but really it would be nice to do it with others...having been born and growing up as she had Fosull was probably a bit more eager then normal to interact with others for a change.

Baiatul Mistica had been tinkering with a new little toy he'd come by when he was consumed by a blinding flash of light. He hissed as the light faded and his eye sight cleared. He heard noise of many around him and it was something that made him uneasy. Maroon eyes gleamed as he looked about finding himself in a town teeming with Humans and other ghostlings. He could most assuredly enjoy himself in his new surroundings. Humans equaled little trinkets he could work with and mold to his own pleasure. Then the ghostlings around could be considered just fun seeing as he could pick on them and do all sorts of mean little funny things. He nearly clapped giddily in excitement.

"That depends upon what it is, Lady. But I can tell you how we got here." Valkon replied. "There's a festival going on in town right now due to two goddesses. They returned everyone after Az and Kita screwed things up. I guess they needed bodies for their party whether alive or dead." A smirk slipped across his face. "Some seem happy about it and others.. well I think you understand. Myself, I'm not feeling too bad about being back now, but one of my friends was left behind and they think they are just going to leave him there. It's soooo not happening."
The yokai smirked with the last words. "But in order to bring him back, I have to bring back Az too. At least for now. I'll figure out how to get rid of him later. Maybe. Maybe not. They might totally tick me off and I could end up helping him just for the fun of seeing it all fall apart." His tails twitched in amusement. The ironic thing was that a part of him truly was loyal to Az for giving him a home and taking him in. Even as it was. But a part of him hated Az for it too. If he and Kita had been able to control their hormones, this wouldn't have happened to begin with. Valkon didn't blame just one. He blamed both.
They had noone to blame but themselves if someone took advantage of the situation. And he planned to protect the animals from Az as much as his family from Kita. Time would tell whether he was successful or not later.
"Anyhow, that's about the gist of what is happening. All started due to raging hormones. This friend of mine thinks everyone should give thanks to these two goddesses for bringing us all back. Myself, I think they should just go away and leave us alone. Oh.. silly me.. that is what they do. They only show up once a year." He snorted when he said the last. Shaking his head, he laughed. "I can live with that, but it doesn't mean I'm happy about being jerked around. And I intend to make that plain by tangling as many strings as I can."
"Pffttt.... Should dump the princess and be a full pirate." Hawke replied. "Gotta be tough to be hangout with my sister." Turning to Chief, he grinned, winking where Alnara could not see him. He liked causing trouble for girls. Especially his sister.
"Unfortunately, Chief, that's my sister Fosull. You know.. the one I told you about earlier. The one that lives with my momma." He grinned even wider as he turned back to her. "Sure. Let's go see if we can find some rats for mom. You know Dad will have the crows bring all the stuff, don't you, Fosull? It will be a slow but she'd still have her stuff. Dad knows it's important to her, but it will be after he gets some of his bones."
"He said he'd find somewhere for us to live too. But I think he's having fun now, though he was angry earlier at that Watcher guy." Hawke dared her to ask. He wasn't about to tell her why. But he wanted her to ask so he could torment her.
"Cupcakes? Where are we going to get cupcakes?" he asked softly glancing at Priscilla. "I can't say I've ever been to a slumber party before but I suppose it will be fun. We might have to figure out some games to keep her busy. At least until she finds her parents. Or they find her."
He hoped she was not entirely on her own. She seemed more like a five year old than as most of the ghostlings were. That could cause them to pick on her. Touma began to feel a bit protective of the little ghostling. He had not had any siblings but his friends had always been there. And he wondered who she had.

As the bell towers bell rang. The Young and newborn whispling floated hovering above the ground. A pair of blue green eyes glowed and stood out against her floating purple figure. Her gaze narrowed as she scanned the crowd. By the second more and more figures like her were showing up but there were others appearing that made her cringe in disgust. Her tendrils of mana whipped to and fro fringed in yellow and dancing in the light. She hovered there quietly seeking out someone. She didn't know why she sought this being but something inside her pushed her to find the being. Something primitive.
Fiolett grinned as her glowing eyes landed upon an orange being hovering above the ground. The being seemed immensely pleased and vulnerable. Fiolett grinned and wiggled. She floated hovering above the ground. Her body was going back and forth between being visible. She at times appeared just to be a floating orb. She hovered just behind him and tapped on his shoulder. She grinned as he whipped around. She watched as his eyes widened just ever so much. His magenta eyes glowed with the excitement she could tell he felt. His gaze stared at her not through her but at her. She grinned and felt a soft clicking connection. He blinked as the connection clicked and Fiolett wiggled once more before floating over to his side resting slightly above his flowing furry like sleeve.
Baiatul Mistica shivered as he felt the connect roll through him. The purple whispling that now hovered over his shoulder had done something that Baiatul didn't quite understand but it was not something he was all to worried about. Something about her was odd but was his. He felt as if he'd gained a ward to live with. He no longer paid any mind to the girl but looked out at everyone. In a low timbre voice he only said one thing before floating away with the Whispling at his shoulder. "I am Baiatul Mistica"
