rmcdra Cé hiad do chuid mhuintir? As cén slite a tháinigh tú anseo? My grasp of Gaelic is still practically nonexistant so I have no idea what you said beyond the word family... I think. I did study Irish Gaelic up until a couple of years ago, I wish more had stuck with me than "mé mair".

Hmmm . . . don't think I've introduced myself yet. If I have, well then you all just get to meet me twice.
Name Preference: Garra.
And before anyone asks, yes, I was a Naruto fan when I made this account. I don't read/watch it anymore, but at this point, all my Gaia friends know me as Garra, so it would be kind of a pain in the butt to change it.

Other: My three favorite things to discuss are Supernatural (the tv show), religion, and sociological origins and impacts of various mathematical concepts. (in that order)
I love to draw, write, and create music videos and, though I like to think that I'm brilliant at all three, I'm probably only decent.
My sister is one semester away from having a degree in divinity (ministry + theology) from Notre Dame, and once I get my math degree, we plan to write a book about how a better understanding of Chaos Theory can lead to a better understanding of the Trinity (which is based on this lecture series my sister went to about how our understanding of the world around us affects our understanding of God). It should be interesting.
That's probably about it . . . .
Oh, one last thing: my two pet peeves.
1. Arrogance.
We're all trying to make sense of the world based on limited information. The world is like a 1 million piece jigsaw puzzle, and we each have like ten pieces. As a result, we all see the world in different ways and with a different understanding of what makes sense and what doesn't. I hate it when people assume that, because their ideas make complete sense to them and other people's don't, that they must be right and the other person must be an idiot. All that does is show that the person lacks an understanding of how complex the world is.
2. Being inconsiderate.
I know we all do this from time to time, but I'm talking chronic or super obvious stuff here. It just seems selfish to me when people don't at least give a little fore thought to how what they do will affect other people. I even hate this more than when people are deliberately trying to be mean. If you're trying to be mean, you have a purpose, and you may be an a**, but you're at least aware of the people around you. The people around you matter, because otherwise you wouldn't put the time and effort into pissing them off. But if you're inconsiderate, you're just ignoring the people around you and brushing them off as completely unimportant. It pisses me off to no end.
So yeah. That's that.
