Cloud got out a bucket of assorted popsicles. "This'll help control ourselves." He got an alcohol combo flavor for himself.

"What?!" nym looked at them "Not those again! I get less drunk chugging vod--" nym cut off thinking wait she wanted to get drunk "Hand them over" nym said grabbing a popsicle.

"Well fine!" Cloud got out a hidden stash of vodka. Then,he drank to his heart's content with Nym.

nym loved getting drunk it was fun. but she had a job to do in the morning "Um you sure we should be drinking, you know with tomorrow and all?" nym said feeling buzzed.

Cloud thought for a moment. "I guess we should stop. Being groggy during battle or flight could be dangerous. Though one more bottle won't hurt..." He reached for a bottle from the crate and downed it. Cloud was still in good condition.

"Sheesh do you have an amethyst under your tongue or something?! How can you not be buzzed by now? and your right, I'll stop." nym ate some more chicken then put down her plate and crawled under the covers.

"Well...umm...we've been through a whole lot of hell today. I don't think I would've made it this far without you. While we were in the dark passageway,I was falling into darkness. My nightmares and negativity took over me,consuming my life away. I felt unwanted and felt nothing to live for. I felt like immortality was a curse. But then I heard your voice...I'm still here because of you."

nym sat up in the bed "Oh. . ." nym felt numb "well maybe that was the trail, to get over that unwanted feeling, and you just needed a little help?" nym blushed she hated to admit she was scared of the dark then to have to call for Cloud hurt her pride more, and to top off with the final blow he heard her while she was weak. nym felt so embarrassed she pulled the blanket up to her eyes to hide her blushing.

Cloud lowered Nym's blanket to reveal her face. "When we're weak,it just proves that we're human. Even I have my weaknesses." He thought of the time in the forest or during the battle with the sea monster. Cloud smiled.

"Nym...just...just..." At an instant,Cloud impulsively removed Nym's hand from her face and kissed her. He drew away quickly as soon as he realized what he was doing. "S***..."

nyms eyes grew wide as Cloud drew away "Cloud. . . " was all nym said before grabbing the blanket and throwing her self under, and curling into a ball.
