Aquaria fell silent. She remembered what she had said to Garin, what she had done at Angel Springs, and wondered if that made her a monster.

Sanvi grinned. "I think...I'll walk around a little."

Aquaria walked silently along Garin's side, her head down. She could still hear Stephen singing to her, and could still feel his lips on hers. She heard herself yelling at Garin, and saw herself running away.
