Tanya froze when Scarlett called out. "What should we do? Should we reply?" Tanya whispered in a panicked tone. Her whispers started increasing in volume until she was silenced by someone's hand covering her mouth.

Garret immediately shot up from the bed. He quietly made his way to the door making sure he didn't make a sound. First he found the chair Scarlett was sitting in, he leaned over carefully and whispered "I'll check it out, go hide in the bathroom, if anything happens you leave immediately there's an opening for an escape." Without really waiting for a response he continued towards the door. he placed his ears against the door closing his eyes focusing souly on his hearing. He heard was seemed like something was being muffled however before he could tell lightening cracked through the sky. He stayed there for a moment completely silent.

Emerson removed his hand from Tanya's mouth and whispered reassuringly, "It's alright, I think it's Scarlett or that man." He put his hand on the small of her back and guided her, stepping around her into the room so he would be the first to enter and perhaps encounter the murderer. Lightning flashed and he saw two other silhouettes before his visibility vanished.
