Could be worse, I know a young woman named Azrael ( named after the cat from the Smurfs) and her little brothers name is Zair.

I know a guy named Sterling.
Personally I like 'Z' names -'cause "Z" is always a possibility for a nickname!
Though I'd never name my kid Xena or something, just because I liked the show...

Hey, Sterling is pretty close to my first name...that I almost never go by. I also feel sorry for people that just get named really strange names, especially ones that are use to be funny with the persons last name

I had a friend when I marched in drum corps, his mom was an English professor who loved wierd spellings for normal names. He and his siblings had normal sounding names until you saw them written down. His name was pronounced just like mine (Shawn) but was spelled Si'an.
