I was going with the army branch. I figured the army's the guys that do the ground forces stuff when they do landing assaults, etc. I also figured it'd make sense that when not actively in such things, the army guys aboard a ship act more or less similar to their navy counterparts.
I dunno how that works exactly. The lines between 'em seem a bit blurry to me a lot of times. The only thing I know for sure is that their uniforms are different colors.

Then your a Stormy that didnt defect then. Least thats how I understand it. I could be wrong. Now, Considerations..... Move the rank of my character up to the rank of Lt. Short History: Jubilee, as most come to know him as, is strange and exotic, even as Zeltrons go. Before joining the Empire, he was a professional bartender on Coruscant in his families restaurant. But from his earliest years, Kai had been strangely more effeminate than most young boys, to the point of dressing in female clothing. During his teenage years, he was on a unique form of hormone therapy, which altered his changing body even more, though in slow, subtle ways.
At the age of 19, he inherited his parents restaurant after their sudden death, but due to the dept it had incurred, he decided to sell it instead, seeing it as the only way to ever pay them off.
That left him few choices with what to do, so being a young and influential mind, he swayed to the propaganda and joined the Imperial Navy. He was assigned to an ISD in unique task force out in the rim, later realizing why, and that it was just a spiteful joke. Detailed as the ships bartender and galley crewmen, he was promoted to Petty Officer in charge of the galley after the lose of the prior in the Stormtroopers corps mutiny aboard the ship.
Although he is male, he was allowed to wear the female uniform and keep his hair long. Due to these and the fact he never speaks about it, he is still taken for a female, and still very few aboard the ship actually know that she is really a he, beyond commanding officers. Though the rumors do indeed float around.
Description: Visual Kai stands about average height with a slim, femininely attractive body and a slight muscle build with rather smooth curves, and very soft, light red skin and usually a blue or violet lipstick. The therapy also left him a pair of genuine, full breasts of modest size. He also has a dashing of freckles over her body. Before when she would be in uniform, it would be a females, though sometimes he was forced to wear a male one.
Now, her wardobe consists of either a loose, black linen knee-length skirt and a tight v-neck light blue sweater, or a tight purple miniskirt and loose black button-up each with the issued knee-high boots from her uniform and her sidearm belt. When on duty she will wear loose-leg black stacks and a yellow tanktop along with the waist apron with her rankings pinned on the shirt and her issued officers cap and sidearm belt. Rarely does he wear male clothing.

I was under the impression that stormies weren't an option.
If they are however, that'd work just fine I guess. Heh, I already see the pun. TK-362436. xd

Well army troopers weren't available cause an ISD of this era doesn't carry any, so it'd have to be a Stormtrooper not so loyal to the empire.

Somehow, I think female stormtroopers would have reasons not to be utterly loyal to the Empire.

Its not common, but its G-level canon that there are female stormtroopers.

I actually wouldn't be surprised if there were Female Clonetroopers. Even the kaminoans would make errors in the process and could easily have accidentally given a clone XX chromosomes instead of XY, especially with millions of units produced.

It'd be a miracle such a clone wasn't killed, either before growing, during the war, or after
For one, if said stormtrooper was a female, she'd have to be a total beast.Kinda like how Thrawn's a GA. As far as non-human males go, it'd have to be a pinnacle specimen

The Kaminoans though would probably have terminated that failed batch, unless they were so unfamiliar with human biology that they didn't notice, but that seems unlikely.
The Kaminoans were perfectionists. They terminated an entire company of troopers that did not have perfect vision. To make a chromesome error like that and let it develop into a number of female clonetroopers would imply either some ignorance of human biology or some experiment taking place.

My thoughts exactly. The sheer odds of her surviving to adulthood, and then the Wars is astronomical. Probably someone along the lines of 1 in 368 billion.
I'd think it more likely she was a navy trooper, and maybe she salvages and uses stormtrooper armor from the defection.

Consider legacy for a moment, and consider the ship we're on. It wouldn't be surprizing to see the Resolve actually be the only ship to carry female troopers, if nothing else as a test to see their capacity, or more importantly, to try and sabotage the ship further by issuing what the emprie would deem "inferior" units. Everyone knows by now not all stormies are clones anymore, and what better way to shaft the female recruits than a dead-end nowhere job?

Good point.
Maybe we had the only all-femme stormie platoon in the whole Empire (comprised of most if not all the female stormtroopers in the empire), and it happened to side with us during the defection.
