Candycane Scartissue Tatsumi smiled and bowed his head to the waitress before looking back up to Loki, nodding his head. Yes, I think that would be nice, to go there... he said quickly before looking back down, this time to his food as he tore off a piece of his quesadilla.

It's very good, Tatsumi said with a smile. Oishii. Anou, how is yours? he asked, biting another piece of the quesadilla, chewing the piece slowly as he watched Loki closely, with timid eyes.

Loki took another bite, savoring it just like the last. "Excellent. I haven't had a steak in forever." Though he had had steak at the manor, none of them had compaired to those made by the chefs at the palace. "Makes me miss home a bit...but I wouldn't go back for anything." Not to mention that he probably wouldn't be welcome anyway.

Miss Seraph Jalceri tugged at one of the menues Merryn held and opened it to catch a quick glimpse of their selections. "Why is that?", she asked her angel not moving her eyes from her menu. Winking at that last part, she opened her own menu as a waitress showed them to their seat; a nice little table for two in the back. Thanking the waitress, Merryn was glad they were set next to a window and scanned the horizon quietly.

Tatsumi nodded, taking a sip of his cold water. I have not had steak in my life, he said as he shifted his apple-colored eyes to his gloves, contemplating taking them off. I have not had a lot of things, then, but what I have had, I think I have liked it all. Except, I do not like caramel.

Jalceri peered over her menu at her angel and grinned at her cocktail-treat. "I don't see what I want on this menu..", she exclaimed searching her Angel's eyes.

Loki raised a brow at him. He hadn't had a lot of things? Loki suddenly wanted to change that, though he didn't know why. "Well, care for a taste of mine? No charge or anything," he said with a playful grin. "Maybe I can get you lots of things to try so you can say you've had them."

Tatsumi smiled faintly, tilting his head to the side. Really? he asked with a slight blush. I would like that, he said with a nod.

First Loki cut off a piece of his steak and placed it onto Tatsumi's plate. He cut off enough for a taste in case he didn't like it. "Maybe we could do a dessert sampler? Of course, with no caramel. I haven't had sweets in so long anyways...so if you're not up for it, I'd probably eat it all myself," he said with a chuckle.

A dessert sampler sounds terrific, Tatsumi said as he took the bit of steak into his mouth, chewing slowly. After a moment he swallowed, a look of contemplation on his face. That... was different, but kind of nice, he said.

"Mm..steak's not for everyone. My cousin's sister really dislikes it and refuses to touch it." He chuckled again and shook his head lightly before picking up the dessert menu. "I could actually go for all of this...but what looks good to you?," he asked, passing it over to Tatsumi.

I actually adore key lime pie, Tatsumi said with a soft blush as he looked over the menu. I believe that is all I have had on this. Okaasan loves key lime pie, that's how I have had it before, he said with a nod.

Loki grinned a little. "Well then, I'll make sure you get the keylime pie." When the waitress returned to check on them, Loki asked her if she could have a dessert sampler put together for them. She nodded and went off to get it ready while he turned back to his steak. "I've never actually had keylime pie before. Is it really so good?"

I do enjoy it very much, though as you said for steak, it is not for everyone, Tatsumi said with a matter-of-fact nod. It is tangy, but sweet as well... he said with a small smile, blushing as he looked down. It always made him feel indifferent to talk about food to others, as he felt overweight.

"Tangy and sweet, eh?" He chuckled lightly as his mouth watered a little. A combination like that could never go wrong. "So long as it's not overly sweet, I hope. I never could stand those really sugary kinds of desserts..."
