"I suppose that would be easy enough, but that largely depends on if we can determine where we are in the ship. I have no idea how'd they do that... I wonder if I could just third-eye the location of the next gun based on its mana output. Might not be easy." Cassandra's voice was, as suggested, strengthening; she seemed a little more on balance, physically and mentally. Puzzles, apparently, were good stimuli for her mind.

The many layers of mana-circuitry made it difficult to see much of anything through more than one or two walls.
On the other hand, Carlyle's relayed report on the path they should take (and their alternatives if Cassandra spotted a threat) made it fairly easy to plot a path to the nearest weapon system. However, going to the nearest one would require them to double back at some point; if they went farther, they could work their way down the path from weapon to weapon uninterrupted - except, of course, by the Tyrgani security.

"Let's just hit them all at once, go all the way and hit what we can before we run out of momentum," Cassandra suggested. She wasn't clear on what the defenses would be coming up on the weapons, but it couldn't be as bad as whatever was in the core of the vessel.
"Lead the way, Carlyle," Cassandra suggested.

"Sounds good. I guess that means we go the one-way route? Someone should do recon, so we can have an idea of what we'll be up against." Technically, Ty would likely be the best one for the job, but that would require morphing, if he planned on having weapons in the case of being caught. As happy as he would be to transform, he wasn't too keen on the idea of being called a Cabal spy in the middle of an attack on the Tyrgani. Then again, it was admittedly preferable to being called a Cabal spy in the middle of an attack on the Cabal... He still didn't like it.

"Seems like scouting it out at this sort of range would be a waste of time, not to mention revealing our position," Cassandra suggested. "Perhaps it would be better to take advantage of the element of surprise - shock and awe and all that. We could even use flashbangs... if we... uh, have any... or any substitutes..."

Carlyle shrugged. "Not it," he replied to Ty, indicating his oversized rifle. "As for alternatives to flashbangs... uh, frags?" he suggested.

"Frags could work," Cassandra acknowledged. "Same basic effect, if not as focused, but at least it'll take out a few. Did anyone grab any frags, though? I only had time to get this rifle... I think..."

Ty sucked air through his teeth at the mention of frag grenades. They would be so loud, especially here... But she was right. If they had any, it would definitely help clear out the enemy. It wasn't as if giving away their location at this point was going to make things any worse or better. He slowly nodded his agreement. He wished he had grabbed some earmuffs before they left the ship. Too late now, he supposed.

"You do?" Ty said, raising his eyebrows excitedly. If grenades were their only choice, his ears would suffer but his eyes were in for a treat. Explosions were ever so much entertainment. "Awesome! Let's head out and blow this joint, then!" He started off in the direction Carlyle had suggested, checking back over his shoulder after a few bouncy steps to make sure he was being followed.

Everyone followed Ty because it was the only logical thing to do.
They made their way without incident to a sealed blast door; Cassandra could barely see anything on the other side, but there were clearly about four beings on the other side.

"Okay, so here's what I'm thinking. We blow down this door... somehow, and then we throw frags in essentially while it's going. Any other thoughts?" Cassandra dropped to one knee, letting herself steady for a moment.

"One frag should be enough, for four," Ty said quietly, pressing his ear against the door briefly to listen for anything useful inside. He backed away, getting to the rest of the group.
"Unless someone has a way of..." His eyes suddenly gleamed happily. "Any chance we can use the corpses back there to get in without making too much noise?" He jerked his thumb in the direction of the bodies.
