Tsuzuki nodded to Prince Toren as he was leaving, and then he looked to Lilith and said to her, "Is the tour over already?" Tsuzuki didn't know since she said she'd go to Prince Jerome soon, so he wasn't sure if she ahd to get back to something else or would be joining him in watching the Prince immeadiately. "Oh...and I'm sure a pep talk from you would mean a lot more to him, than one from me would," He said softly, as to not say it loudly as if it meant nothing special, but if she caught on, she should get what he was trying to say. Though, he felt bad, since lately he was saying a lot of things that were out of line. Perhaps he needed to be punished, he felt he needed to learn his place, he felt he had forgotten it somewhat, with all these personal subjects discussed in front of him, and being asked to get personal with the prince and Lilith (calling them by name is personal to him).

Lilith watched Toren leave, her mouth half-open. Looking at Tsuzuki, she looked worried. "I'll join you and the Prince in a moment, i need to check on Toren." And giving Tsuzuki's shoulder a squeeze, she ran off. She caught up to him quickly, grabbing him by the shoulder and turning him around. "Toren, if you had waited i was going to say we could all help each other." Her blue eyes looked straight into the Prince's, her hand still resting gently on his shoulder. "Toren, i care about you. I care about all of you. How can i not? Don't act this way, ok? It makes me uneasy." Her voice was soft. It was Toren after all who had spent time with Lilith in the library, helping regain her confidence and calming her when angry. Jerome had been good as well, everyone had. It worried her when any of the Royal Family were upset. "Talk to me, ok?" Lilith's Romanian accent was caring, soft, a tiny grin on her full lips.

Toren sighed heavily and looked at her hand, unable to meet her eyes for long. He wanted to talk, but he couldn't afford to lose yet another friend. He couldn't let his past get in the way of his duty. It's what had happened before.
"Don't worry about it. I won't bother you, Lilith. I'm glad I could help you out," he said with a slight smile.
He put his hand on hers and then shook his head. "I think I should go. You probably should go and help Jerome," Toren said with a tiny smile. "I'll be alright. I always have been."
"I should go and check to see if Kara is all ready for the dinner," Toren said uncertainly.

{[Did you like this picture for Toren? Just wondering - Prince Toren. Lilith placed both her hands just under Torens shoulders. "You're not ok, your eyes say so. And besides, friends know these things." And she raised an eyebrow, a small grin on her face. "Oh, you're sitting next to me at dinner by the way. It was pre-planned." And she chuckled. She had yet to realise how close she was standing to Toren, probably too close. "Well, if you're heading that way, i've got to check on Jerome. We could walk together?" And she shrugged, brushing some stray dust of Toren's outfit.

((Nice Picture! Can you like make it a bit smaller for me??? So I can use it perhaps?))
Toren took a deep breath to hide his shaky hands. "You are right, Lilith," he said quietly. Her grin made him even more sad. He didn't know why.
"I'm not sure I'm looking forward to dinner, even if I am sitting by you. Poor Kara and Jerome. They won't know how to deal with each other..." His voice trailed off uncertainly.
He was comforted by her closeness. Toren looked down at her when she brushed his shirt off. "Yes, we could walk together. If it would please you," he added slowly.

{[Here's the link - http://i218.photobucket.com/albums/cc111/Genecide13/jhcopy-1.jpg all edited!]} Lilith laughed gruffly. "Your mother will make sure things will be fine. And Jerome will have Tsuzuki with him. Besides, it's only an hour and a half." Shrugging, she sighed, smiling. "Come on Toren, you're not usually like this. We'll all get through this dinner."Deep, deep down, a part of Lilith wanted to run to Jerome's room and tell him everything. She had understood what Tsuzuki was hinting, and she was annoyed it had taken her this long to realise it. Moving to Toren's side, she looped her arm through his, gently taking his hand. "Come my friend, shall we walk back now?" She was starting to feel a bit shy around Toren, which was a first. Admittedly, Lilith did have a slight thing for both Princes; Jerome because he was like her, stubborn but a good person inside. And Toren because they got along so well, and always had something to talk about. When she first arrived, she hoped one would like her, but was disappointed when Jerome was to be engaged to a human. And besides, she was just the Royal Advisor. Prince's married princess's.

Toren felt a bit better, he had to admitt. "Ah, my mother. My dear mother. And Tsuzuki, yes. All of them support Jerome," he said slowly.
He knew he wasn't usually like this, but for some reason, he felt down-in-the-dumps. Usually he was good at hiding his constant unhappiness with a wide smile and playful chatting.
Sighing heavily, he let her take his hand. Honestly, he wished she would stay with him. "Yes," he said quietly. "Walk back..." His voice trailed off absently.
Toren shook his head and sighed yet again. "Oh, dear. I'm afraid I got rather caught up in my feelings. I apologize, Lilith," he told her with alarm. He smiled immediately, praying that she'd think he was fine.

Lilith laughed. It was a charming sound, and her eyes glowed. "Toren, you're getting soft on me. Feelings?" Her playful smile turned to a serious one. "Ok, seriously. What kind of feelings? And don't apologise, it happened to me earlier."Walking side by side with the Prince, they eventually reached the staircase heading to the Royal Chambers. The moonlight from the nearby window caught Lilith well, doing justice to her already curvy figure. She stopped at the bottom stair, half leaning on the brick wall, half not. Her arm was lazily looped with Torens, her hand resting in the crook of his elbow. "Tell me what you feel." She asked quietly. Jerome was just above, but right now, she was too concerned with Toren. What happened to his charming and bright self? He was always so happy. Lilith wanted to know, she wasn't going anywhere until she knew.

Toren rolled his eyes at her comment about his feelings. "Going soft on you? What ever do you mean?" he teased. "You're the one who cried. Not me. Not yet, anyways," Toren said with a grin.
He admired her form and tilted his head. "You really do care, don't you? You actually care about what I think?" Toren asked with surprise. "That, I would have to say is a first, pretty much."
Toren leaned towards her slightly and sighed. "I feel lonely. I feel sick and tired of the nonsense around me. I feel like I don't belong. And I feel many other things. So many things that it makes my head hurt," he said quietly. He swallowed when his voice trembled. Toren had never told anyone other than his father about his feelings.
"That is what I feel, Lilith. That is why I am upset And that is why I didn't want to tell you."

 Lilith shook her head slowly, risking alot by placing her hand on Toren's cheek. "You're not alone, and you do belong. Of course i care, why wouldn't i? You cared enough when i was still a stranger to help me." Lilith's eyes showed her care as she stood trying to reassure Toren. "What nonsense? What do you mean. And why didn't you want to tell me? I'm not going to judge you. Ever." She was really concerned now. What was so bad that he felt he couldn't talk to her. Stepping closer to him, she smiled softly. "You know you can always talk to me. I'll always listen. It's why i'm here isn't it?" And she giggled. "Toren, don't keep your feelings bottled up, trust me. It's the worst thing you can do." Her voice was soft, reassuring. "Just promise me you won't let things get so bad that you get this upset."{[I have to go soon. If i'm lucky i can get a reply in. If not, i'll reply when i'm home ;D]}

Toren sighed and rested his hand over hers on his cheek. "Because no one else cares. I'm not important. I'm a lowly royal, lucky to be born into such a family. I'm not needed and I am not always welcome here," he whispered.
"The nonsense around me? I mean the way my brother treats others, the way the royals of this world believe they are so much better than everyone else. Things like that," he replied.
Toren closed his eyes and shook his head. "But the problem is I can't always talk to you, Lilith. If I told you everything, you would be in grave danger. It's why I've been attacked, why I have the scars. Sometimes it is better to keep things to yourself if it means no one else will get hurt because of the things you feel."
"I can't promise you that, Lilith. I can only hide it. I'll bet you've never noticed until tonight. I just happened to let my guard down for a short moment."

{[Crashed my car. Not happy.]} Lilith didn't know what to say. She knew being Royalty was dangerous, but she didn't know that it could be, to an extent, corrupt. "Toren. Just remember that there are people that still care for you, like me." And she smiled softly, not quite sure what to say. Taking her hand away, she felt rather shy; she had no idea what to say or do. Sighing, she resolved at looking at Toren, standing there quietly. "After dinner, once everyone is settled down, want to go talk like we used to?" Lilith was just hoping that she could do something to make Toren feel good again. Dinner would be even more awkward. Hopefully though, Jerome had changed. Lilith hoped so, he had seemed so gentleman like to her. And kind. And rather charming. Her smile was soft as she waited for Toren's reply. She would wait as long as needed. She could be patient when the time came for it.

Toren took a deep breath and ran a hand through his hair. He stood there for a few moments without saying anything at all. He could tell that she was feeling awkward and tried not to read her thoughts. She deserves privacy, he thought, shaking his head.
"You really do care..." he said absently.
"I wish I could say the same for other people, but it doesn't work like that apparently," Toren muttered. He moved his hand off of hers and set it on her hair. He realized how close he was to her and blinked in surprise. But he didn't move away.
"I would love to go talk like we used to, Lilith. Honestly, I think it would be very nice," he told her.
