Leon didn't wait for his Captain's reaction of the news he brought, but instead, he fondly greeted Chickenwire and Charice both. Such familiar, welcome sights, yes!

He'd finally dismounted Anri, now getting his proud war horse ready for what he did best, all the while carrying on conversation... he'd hoped Charice would at least halfway understand. Maybe around six or seven years ago, she would have understood him if he were formal, but... that formality he had from being a baron's son had been lost.

"Charice, good to see ya, an' ev'y un' else too. I first be thinkin' ya be on them Heros' side 'cuz they be more likely t' win... then again, I be wrong, thinkin' power's everythin'. As for what ya missed..." he proceeded to give her the same summary, all the while outfitting Anri with the last of his warhorse armor. Now, he looked like what he was born as... and Anri looked proud.

Examining the axe, he faced his superior again, dropping all the small talk. "Sir, they be exiles 'o Eyris. We be havin' skirmishes wi' th' morphs... we brought back captives from them "Heroes"... An' we set this up as our camp. From what I be hearin', th' Dancer of 'em be gone..." his voice fell into a hint of sorrow upon that mention, and his eyes drooped to a mournful state. "An'... we found out from... that Sage Octavio that we be fightin' a God called Loki."

Charice actually found it not that hard to understand what Leon was saying. Exiles? Them? Maybe yesterday when the riots started, but we've got it largely contained by now.

She'd never heard of morphs before, but she could guess the dead guys back there were "morphs". If these "Heroes" fought alongside the morphs... well, why did they even need a bunch of soldier-clones? Somehow that didn't sound like the Nine Heroes people had in mind... but if the Dancer (Teifi?) was gone, then that nine was down to eight. All things considered, that might actually be a good thing.

...Well, maybe it was debatable. Charice was all for fighting for justice and all that, but a GOD? A look of worry crossed her face as Leon finished.

"A God, huh? I know Ghis won't find that too pleasant... but no, we're not on the Heroes' side. Apparently, a new captain named Vaida put him on the spot, and he finally owned up to what he told me before," she added, the worried look replaced with a grin. "Some people still might believe the rumors, but I think they can come around."

"Ya think so?" Leon seemed surprised at Charice's optimism. They'd been completely forced out by the townspeople they worked so hard to guard all this time! The Lieutenant was sure they were well aware of the fate they awaited if they were ran out of Eyris the way they were. Scoundrels! Despicable traitors! And they dare call him a deserter?!

However, those vengeful thoughts never made it to words. As angry as Leon was, he had to sigh and admit it... as he took some of the food supplies now. "They be misled, Charice. An' I know a Godlike person be beyond our understandin', prob'ly beyond our power... far beyond, but I ain't backin' off just 'cuz o' that. M'Cap'n saved me. Eyris welcomed a foreigner with they didn't haveta. No 'un asked about m' past to this day... Charice. I'll be fightin' hard for their kindness... it be more than I deserve, I think. Even if I be stricken down, 'fore I achieve m' goals, I ain't never gonna forget a moment o' what they done for me... that be an oath o' mine."

(( Good grief you guys post fast, unless I missed some from last night. ))

The rest of the crew slowly started to gather and once they did, Ephraim realized that everyone, includig the guards, were now here and getting ready. He spotted Chickenwire among the crowd and the cart that was behind him.

We brought spare armor 'n' weapons, go take y'pick

His eyes lit up and immediatly he was on his feet.

Hey lady, wait!!

Ephraim turned toward the direction of the person and spotted Ed, attempting to run after..Ninian? W-What?? Ephraim then heard another shout, this time coming from Nils whom helped Roy, the boy he spotted earlier and anoher person whom the prince didn't recognize.

"...Enough already.." the sight of a majority of FEF injured or in pain was nearly unbearable for the prince. He turned toward the cart and slowly approached it. Swords, axes, spears, bows, you name it, it was here includign armor...spare armor and weapons? More like the whole nine yard of supplies.

He plucked a steel spear from the mountain of supplies, not bothering with any of the silver spears. From his experience, as good as they were, it just doesn't save you enough when your in a real crisis.

The pile next to the weapons were armors and to be frank, he was a little iffy about it but this was an upcoming battle. Prepared or not, chances of you getting injured or worse, dead was very high. He strolled past it and grabbed the one closest to him and approached a tree that was closest...Alihi? Aiden? At this point, there was two tacticians and he was a bit on the irky side to notice which one was near him a the moment. He set the spear down, removing the raggy cloak and slipped the armor over. After tightening the leather strap he was ready to go.

However, even though everyone was almost here...something or someone..was missing. It clicked a moment later and he suddenly realized who. A certan lavender haired girl named, Sophia. Goddess knows how long it'd had been since he actually saw her. She wasn't a the festival and she wasn't here. This started to worry the prince a little but he forced the feeling off.

(( Duuuur, if there's something I missed lemme know, at work till 7 and this slow internet is all I gotz X_x ))

Standing on the edge of the camp besides the tree, Isadora watched the scenery of the mountains. Her face was solemn and stoic as she continued watching, as if she was expecting something to happen in the mountains.

After listening to the stories from others, whether it was from the battle or in Eryis, it was hard to believe something had happened so fast. Even hearing the proposal from Fire Dragon was so quick to her. However, this blow wasn't as bad as the stories she heard from the others.

As the group ate, rested, and trying to be prepared for the battle, the paladin wondered. Would they be able to defeat the Heroes before reaching Loki?... Maybe they could. After all, Ganon had took down the legendary dancer Teifi, even if it was an accidental attack. Isadora admitted that it will be a tough battle to defeat the Heroes. However, if they were to stop them from destroying Loki, then they had no choice but to defeat them. She hoped that the last resort would be death.

"Loki, you vile fiend." Isadora muttered as she looked up to the mountains. Determination burned within her eyes. "I don't know why you wish to cause so much trouble to us. However, we will find a way to stop you, once and for all."

Gasping the hilt of her new weapon, Isadora took one last look at the mountain scenery before turning around. She needed to speak to Father Renault for guidance of the soul and maybe a prayer. She could go to Rhys, but the Bishop was asleep and he didn't have much knowledge of St. Elimine. Victoria was from her continent and in service of St. Elimine. However, Isadora needed someone who knew her so well. Someone who understood what the paladin went through. This was why Isadora needed to seek Father Renault to comfort her soul and mind before the battle begun.

"Lance, hey! I'll be there in a bit...gotta lift some stuff..."

After lugging around the boxes of supplies--he would've complained about not having volunteered himself, but hey, it was for the greater good--Aidan made his way over to the wounded Lance. A new spear he'd plucked from the supplies himself was strapped to the young man's back, and he took it off and set it down before kneeling to his friend's level.

"Lance?!" Sure, he and Lance had gotten into a scrape or two when they'd first met, but he was really in rough shape now. "What happened?"

John put the two deer on sticks and roasted them over the fire.

We brought spare armor 'n' weapons, go take y'pick is what John heard and made him spring up to look at the weapons and things there.

It was a good selection from what he had. Just a simple steel bow. He browsed around and saw something he liked. "A brave bow now this'll come in handy." John thought to himself as he slung it over his back next his steel bow and pulled about 30 more arrows and an extra quiver.

"Boy this is gonna be one heckof a battle. Thanks for the weapons and stuffs stranger!" john thanks as he waved to Ed and walked away to fire to see how the deer were doing.

Nils' eyes widened with joy when the Fire Dragon began to cough. He was alive! He was actually alive... everything would be alright. Everything had to be alright... And if something wasn’t alright, then it will be in time. It was as simple as that in the bard's mind. "Hikaru..." He forced himself not to say anymore, waiting for his beloved to finish saying what he wanted to say, holding his hand in return when he held his. Everything around him seemed... so distant, as if Nils' world surrounded only the two of them. The words that FD said came through clearly to the bard, evident by a small and subtle blush, but he still was shocked beyond belief when that small, wooden box was opened.

A ring with a red stone, sparkling slightly in the sunlight, was revealed right in front of his eyes.

He gasped softly. The ring was truly beautiful... It wasn't just any old ring, like the ones he used before, either. The others he shared with his sister, Ninian. No, this one was meant for him and him alone.

Tears began to flow once more as he nodded slowly, his voice soft but filled with confidence and certainty. "... Of course."

Together forever, after so long.

He said yes! FD hadn't eaten it what seemed like a day, was still awfully tired, and still felt some pains in his recovering body. But in that moment he felt as though nothing could stop him - ever! He had no words to exchange at this point. FD took the ring out and slid it onto Nils' finger, his eyes watering up as he did so.

It was as if he was oblivious to everything else around the two of them in that moment. The tears welled up within his eyes began to stream down his face freely as he stared into Nils' eyes. FD embraced Nils for a moment before kissing him more passionately than he ever had in front of others before. To him, it was only them - there was no one else. As the contact came to a close, he found himself whispering "Thank you... Kaoru." Afterwards, he crashed out - he had received no sleep since the anniversary celebration had started, hadn't had anything to eat since the shishkabobs, and exerted more effort in his fight with Misura than he had in years. The oncoming sleep was inevitable as he fell forward in Nils' arms.

Sue heard that Nils accepted FD's proposal, and she was happy, so very happy for them... but at the same time, she couldn't help but lament.

The nomad trooper shut her eyes, thinking of how close her and Shin had come to this day before he was just... gone. Vanished without a trace, she'd left him and Grandfather behind the day her and Father went inside the Door. There wasn't a time that she didn't think about it.

They're together, I should smile, and yet...

Them being married means just that. They... won't want to be around anyone else.

But for the sake of their newly found love... Sue still vowed to fight for Eyris and rescue Rei. The Host Club would always be together, right?

"Congratulations..." she whispered before she drank more of her waterskin in deep thought.

There were no words to properly describe how freaking happy Nils was at that moment. The ring was nice and comfortable on his finger, not too loose or too tight. It was absolutely perfect in every sense of the word. When FD stared into his eyes, he stared back. When FD embraced him, he wrapped his arms around him tightly and securely.

And when FD kissed him, he kissed him in return without a single hesitation.

The bard continued to hold on to the Fire Dragon, even after he fell asleep. A soft smile came to his face and a light blush tinted his cheeks as he raised his hand up slightly, staring at the ring.

A moment later his hand clenched into a fist and his eyes slowly drooped, exhaustion claiming him right on the spot.

"Errrhn" Fa yawned as she stretched and curved her arms to the side. Still half asleep Fa got up to look for her older brother. She got out the caravan and started looking around all the faces shes been around before. There he was in the recovery tent with the blanket half off. Fa climbed up next to him and pulled the blanket over him and her and put her arm over his waist and went contently back to sleep.

((Psst, Fa~ Ed moved him into a recovery tent~))

Ed re-emerged from the thicket, her hair in a worse tangle than before, her bow askew.

"Maybe if I hadn't stopped to stare I woulda caught up with her," she sighed. Less people seemed out and about, but she wandered in with an apology anyway. "Sorry guys... Guess we've got more pressing matters to attend to anyway."

She strode over to the wagon and wolfed down some morsels of food. She hadn't eaten anything for breakfast, after all, and she needed the energy to fight.

Lance flinched at the voice of Aidan who had entered the tent. He really didn't feel like talking to anyone in his current state, as he felt more or less pathetic. Especially around Aidan, who was his close friend.

He sat up, and smiled nonetheless, his forehead's bandage slipping a bit. "Aidy! Great to see you alive and kicking! I was worried you had bit the dust!"

Lance flexed his muscles. It hurt him, but his face didn't betray himself, though his eyebrow twitched a bit. "Don't worry about me! I'm fine! It's not as bad as it looks, and I only sustained this little damage during a bout with a hero! That's like beating someone eight times my power. You should've seen me, I was awesome!" Lance was grinning like an idiot. His face showed a happy and proud look. He wasn't satisfied like that though. He wanted to beat someone by power and not tricks sometimes too. That's why he...had to get away.

"Though, as you can see, I am hurt a bit, so I won't be joining the next battle. Do me a favor and show them what a tactician can do, alright mate?"

Lance finished by making a playful salute, as he giggled in his fake happiness.
