Shepard started breathing this weezing loudly. A bottle of the tears fell out of his pocket but the other one was smashed leaving only one left. One his ribs had periced his lung and now Shepard was just struggling to surive. If where not for Jax Shepard would have been a lost cause.

Dargex slowly got up growling. He hated Gordon so much. He hated the chaos vampires. He hated them all. He charged again firing recklessly balls of blackfire. Gordon moved around easily dodging them. They where slow and Dargex was loosing power. Rengeration was tough on a beginner and it was starting to show. Gordon simply ran up to Dargex and punched him in the face. Dargex fell back angerily puncvhed down hitting Gordon away. He smiled but his smile turned into an angrey rage as Gordon just smiled back.


Gordon charged again this time jumping high and kicking dArgex across the neck. Dargex fell down holding his neck in pain. " My Father...Zackaroth...or Vamp as he is known told me about your kind. Your not worth the fight. I'll give you the mercy you wouldn't give us. now go." Gordon said still angery though.

Kaori had absently been listening to the battle and turned as Gordon told Dargex he could go. "You idiot, kill him while you can!" she shouted, but then froze and quickly spun back to face Alyssa. Kaori bit her lip at the suggestion to slit the vampire's throat, and breathed out in relief as it was dismissed. She knew she couldn't have done that anyway.

Kaori hurried forwards and offered an arm for support. She winced again at the sight of the girl's legs and marveled at how she was even still standing. "Should I take you to the hospital?" she asked softly.

Kai was watching from the tube's entrances, eyes flicking back and forth between the fight and his sister. He was still carefully holding the dragon in his arms and every now and then would renew the layer of ice over its wound.

He looked up at the soft clinking of something falling and slowly picked up a small bottle. He could only guess it was Shepards and he started blankly at it, not knowing what it was. He glanced back towards the male as he weezed and nervously fingered the bottle. Could it help him? Not knowing what it was, he didn't want to risk giving it to him and making things worse. "Gah... What should I do?!" he cried in annoyance.

Kai jumped as Shepard spoke. "B-but..." he began uncertainly as he watched him. He really seemed to be in bad shape, but then again, so did the female vampire. Kai ran a hand through his hair and then stared at the bottle he held. Slowly, he placed Kei on the ground next to Shepard and gritted his teeth. "Ok.." He began to exit the tube, but quickly pulled back as he saw Dargex attacking again. He slowly peeked his head out, eyes widening as the fire was aimed at Kaori. "K-Kaori!" he screamed towards her, cursing himself to being useless.

Kaori's head snapped up as she saw Dargex firing once again. "Damn it, I told you.." she muttered through clenched teeth. In an instant, her sword was back out in her free hand. She slowly lowered to the ground, bringing Alyssa gently with her. "Prepare yourself. It won't burn you but it might be a bit strange..." she warned quietly as she closed her eyes. A large dome of fire sprang up around them again, but left enough room so that they could easily sit up. Another one sprang up a moment after around Kai and Shepard's tunnel. Every other time, her fire had cancled out his, so she hoped it would again work. But soon she realized she was breathing rather heavily from using too much of her powers at too close intervals. She cursed under her breath as she closed her eyes to focus.

Kaori gaped towards Alyssa as the vampire seemed to summon lightning from nowhere. "H-how?" she stammered, pausing as she saw the girl collapse. Then she too winced and dropped to her hands and knees as she began panting heavily, feeling somewhat dizzy. The two domes she'd created disappeared shortly after as she forced herself to stand. "I-I'll be right back," she stammered to Alyssa as she stood. "I p-promise." Kaori hurried over towards Gordon and collapsed to her knees at his side. She'd missed the attack due to the fire, but her quick search of the area alerted her to the fact Dargex was gone. "Wh-where'd he go? Did you kill him?" she panted.

Kai saw the fire disappear and instantly sprinted towards Gordon and Kaori. First he knelt by his sister. "Are you ok?" She nodded as he checked to make sure and then looked towards Gordon, holding the bottle in front of him. "Shepard said to give this to Alyssa. Isn't there enough for both?"

" Yeah. I only drank half of mine. Give her the full one. Shepard will only need half" Gordon said half-heartedly. He gave Kaori the half filled one. He was still in shock what he did.


" I just shot a beam of chaos out of my mouth..."He said to himself. He had never done anything like that. Never in his life did he feel such power.

Kai jumped as he heard the voice in his head again and looked up quickly to find the vampire. He frowned as he didn't see her right away but then spotted her across the playground. Scowling, he stood and ran towards her. "Hey, where do you think you're going in that condition?" he snapped as he held the bottle out towards her. But then he noticed she was already healing. He blinked in confusion and shifted uncomfortably as he saw the tears. "But..." he began awkwardly.

Kaori jumped as well as she heard the voice, but noted Kai was already moving towards Alyssa and sighed. She looked up towards Gordon and accepted the half empty bottle, staring silently at its contents. Then she nodded and darted towards the tube, sliding herself inside. She glanced at Kei to make sure he was alright and then leaned over Shepard. "Drink this," she said, raising it to his lips. She wasn't sure if he could move or not.

Alyssa nearly fell over at the sound of Kai's voice right behind her. Quickly, she wiped away the tears and looked at him with a pained smile. Crying was a weakness Alyssa had always hated herself for and wished that her Father was indeed a Vampire. "You act as if I'm to hurt to move..." Alyssa said, still trying to remove any sign that she was crying. Then she noticed how akward he was acting and just had to know why. "What're you staring at?"
