"Just, uh, a bad memory was all," she replied breathlessly. It was funny to her how, the majority of good memories she had, were vague or not there at all, but the awful ones, were the ones that remained.

"I think Lythias took my good memories away, so that I'd be more of a monster. All those torturing nights, the beatings, everything, I remember, but you, my sisters, even my mother are memories that I can barely recall. They did this to me, so that when they controlled me, I had nothing to pull me out of the darkness..." she said nothing more as she placed her head on his chest and cried, clutching his shirt in her balled fists.

She wanted to believe him, but as long as her father was still alive, she doubted that Lythias would stay dead, and, that she would stay sane. She couldn't stop crying, no matter how much his words comforted her, but also because, she wanted so badly to remember him.

She didn't know what to say, she was taken aback by how sweet he was. She realized that, once upon a time, they were more than friends, at least, he hoped for that. Maybe she did. It was clear, they loved each other at some point in time, of course it had to be before her memories were taken. She looked at the necklace and played with it in her fingers. She looked back up to him, and kissed him.

It had sparked something in her head. Triggered a memory. Or at least, she thought it was one.

The two are laughing and rolling around in the grass. They stop breathlessly and just lay there, looking up at the sky, laughing still. "I want to things to stay like this forever," Jade said to Adin. "I want them to be this happy and nice, for forever. We should live here by the creek, it could be our baby." The two burst out laughing. "Okay, so what will we name this baby of ours Jade?" Adin replied while laughing. "We shall name it, Adilyn, after both of us," she finally replied while rolling on her side to face him, laughing. He was laughing too, he looked at her, and then kissed her gently on the lips. "Fine, that is what we'll call it."

She stopped kissing him, and then whispered, "Adilyn...we named the Creek, Adilyn, after both of us. It was, our baby," she laughed gently. And then rested her head on his chest, a pang of sadness was still in her, but at least her crying stopped.

She laughed lightly as she said, "Maybe it was because you didn't name it," she was smiling warmly as she looked in his eyes. She laughed again, at his bewilderment of the Creek's sex. "And yes, it just, came to me, when, I kissed you."

She didn't want to leave the creek, not just yet, especially since her memories seemed to come back, and, because it was once their little spot. But she did feel bad for leaving Leah all alone. Plus, she wanted to bring Leah to that spot too, she was sure that Leah would enjoy it too. "We should probably head back, Leah is all alone," she said with a sadness in her voice.

Jade didn't say anything, as she stood up, she felt as if something warped in her head. She let out a stifled cry as she went falling back to the ground.

She couldn't answer, she wanted to, but she couldn't. All the world around her had turned to white. She looked around, and saw nothing, nothing but the whiteness. She heard a soft voice calling to her from behind, so she whirled around, she saw that it was her mother. Beside her, Jade's two older sisters. Jade broke into tears as she looked at the three; they looked like angels. She ran to her mother and threw her arms around her waist. She sobbed uncontrollably, just how she use to when her brother was mean to her. "I, I've missed you all so much," she managed to blurt out between her sobs. "And we, have missed you," her mother said. "We have a gift for you, my darling." Jade lifted her head. Her sister to her mother's left, placed a hand on Jade's heart, a warm light glowed off her fingertips, it stunned Jade. Her other sister placed her hand on Jade's necklace, her fingers glowed as well. Her mother, placed her fingers on Jade's forehead. "We give to you Jade, your memories..."

In the real world, Jade's body squirmed in Adin's hands, tears streamed out of her shut eyes. Her necklace had glowed bright, like a beacon, white light illuminated from it.

"As long as you wear that chain Jade, your memories will remain," the three sang in unison. The white world began to spin as they chanted. Each sister held her hand, while her mother's fingetips still glowed on her forehead. After they gave her all her memories, each kissed her on her forhead, while whispering "Goodbye for now, dearest Jadence, goodbye for now..."

Tears fell rapidly from her eyes, as each memory flashed through her mind. The sisters disappeared. Her mother, before leaving had said, "The darkness is weakest when brought to the light..."

Jade's mind returned back to the real world, back with Adin. She was gasping for air as her eyes shot open, and her head hurt immensely.

She felt whoozy but she still managed to smiled at him. Then she said breathlessly, "Remember when we met? I fell out of a tree, trying to spy on you. I landed, I landed on you." She was smiling, her eyes were heavy, "You never liked me spying on you..."
