afandjegudiel ((I seriously tried to follow what happened over the last few pages, but I got really confused. So, I guess I'll just jump in when you guys get to Alden... Unless you're already there, in which case, sorry, I must've missed that.)) ((Sorry for not personally answering this OOC, but they are not there yet currently. [[Oh ok]] Polly cursed at seeing Alice recover. "Damn it..."
She picked up the flamethrower that shot out caramel, and tried to shoot it at Alice.

Alice 's hands flew forward, catching on the edge of the roofing as her body hung in clear sight in front of the large hole of the shack. She attention was quickly caught, seeing the woman aiming the weapon. Her hands began to pull up, but an odd hot stream whipped her right in the chest and legs. She gritted her teeth. Her body went back, keeping her hold, then threw herself forward. Both hands let go of the edge as she flew feet first at the woman.

OOC: In general ‘’ = thought, “” = said, thus "cleric" was never said by Zerath, only thought. OoC
Bullets twice tore through flesh and bone to a short lived spray of blood, and for that, Zerath may have been great full, as it would have stung them as well, that said, would have. The cofounded mage neglected that aspect of his blood, by insight of memory, or dumb luck. Flames ripped from the mage’s spell and the spray of Zerath’s volatile blood only couponed the intensity of the spell. The enriched flaming bolt tipped through his stomach and wounded him to the point he was nearly torn a sundered while flames licked at fresh wounds and cased them two to react with further harm to him, the impaling of his upper left wing was simply insult to injury. Had Zerath not been the one being roasted, he very well would have given the obese reply, but nay, he was the “extra Crispy” one and in no mood for hummer at his expense.
Still smoldering, Zerath’s arms and wings fell limp as his head bent upwards, smoke bellowing out of his mouth in growing quantity. Had the agonizing pain been less keen, to the point fluent thought was plausible, He would have likely demanded to himself “Why am I so damned Flammable!?” but nay; he just got a good taste of why he never wanted to be in a reality made of flames that hurt even worse. But the pains of fire rushing throughout his veins and his very flesh being burnt to cindering ashes, was more than enough warning of what would be found in any hell he could ever dream of. His eyes quickly deadened and became burnt while he became content not to provoke further attack by prancing about outside his, not so, mortal coil; moreover, he was too weak to do so yet again. Not three seconds since he was initialed burnt, Zerath collapsed under his own petty wait, first to the knees and then onto his left side and atop his stabbed wing, and that was further stabbed by his own horns: By this point he was having a bad day to be sure. ___
Soon thereafter, and with a coughing jerk, he was again revived and mumbled “Iiee ca-Ooh nooh beh kil-illleed wi~th mere flames.” lowly with a rasping and yet steadily more chirp like disheartened chuckle. His right arm forced itself as if to get up, and then strained feebly on the flame licked hard wood floor… that was… Cold and not so flamed licked as he would have expected given that the last time he was alive there was a fire ball, and he was the epicenter. He fisted his hand, casing his nails to grind upon the stained wood to an odd effect, no sound. ‘Figures, I’ve gone death again… and, oooh, I’m Blind! … great…’ Zerath commented to himself while he cracked his right eye open. It was to be expectant, given how fire loved to race throughout his veins whenever some magely type stuffed mystic flames into his belly… ‘One more reason to kill that wizard apprentice’s decedents! First I get a fire ball tossed down my mouth during a speech and now his great, great grandson shot me with a blasphemous spell!? What is it with this blood line and shooting messengers?’ he continued in his inner monologue.
A crackling pop came into Zerath’s right ear while a blurred image came to his eyes… He never could get use to his senses reviving and… suddenly realizing he smelt like a burnt fish was another experience he hated… three down… and time for the worst two of his mortal senses, it was time for most of his nerve endings to be rebuilt and for him to taste the charred remains that were still in his mouth… ‘SONofA-‘ Zerath thought as his eyes burst open. His right eye had a sapphire iris to a background of midnight and his left iris was ruby red with more mandarin white backing. Meanwhile his mouth also shot open and he again became, briefly, motionless, before coughing up brunt scraps of flesh and the charred remains of teeth.

((I thought I fixed that right after I edited my post.)) Rufus planted both hands onto the floor, recovering to his normal stature. He holstered the coppery hand cannon in his right hand and slowly walked over to the smoldering body. He nudged the torso with his right foot. "Did the bloody b*****d die?" He questioned, he bent his knees, pointing the copper barrel at the head, his pointer and middle finger on his left gloved hand felt the neck. The body wasn't warm, it was pretty damn hot. The hand instinctively withdrew. Searil pondered why it landed on board. The name still seemed all too familiar. The gun became hidden in the long coat once again. "We need to keep the remains." Rufus stood. "Why tha' 'ell to ya need 'em?" Searil came over to the defeated foe. "Something is eating away at myself, that this isn't a person of small entity." Caleb drew in. "And you might know who, or what this man is?" Searil returned a look to the mask. "I have a feeling, that is all I need. Rufus, did he have a pul-" "He has to be dead, his body is hotter 'an a kettle right now." Rufus replied. Searil slowly picked up the man by taking him from under the pits. "Caleb, some assistance?" "I can give it." Caleb took the legs. On a silent count, they picked up the body. "I will go spot Alice, Searil, do not take foreva' down 'ere." Rufus said as he went over and took the discarded belt of rounds. Searil and Caleb began to walk to the stairs, taking them down. "Where is the body going to go?" Caleb questioned, both of them and the body now in the main hall. "Down the far right hallway down to the hull, containment cell should still be there." Searil replied, beginning to walk backwards. Down another flight of stairs. He let go of the body, opening the door to the left, a wrought iron cell, surely large enough to hold about one person with good condition. The entire room was pitch, except for the small aether light that hung from the ceiling lit up the room. Caleb dragged the body in as Searil took the key that hung on the wall. First placing the legs, then the rest of the corpse on the bed. He quickly exited as Searil shut the door. Both began to race up the stairs to return back to the main deck. Rufus holstered his other cannon as he ran towards the turrets, the belt whipping about as he closed into the one with dual triggers. Looking off the side, he saw the recruit hanging off the side for her life. "Cornelius! Ya need to dip down the ship!" "Already on it!" Cornelius adjusted a toggle on box on his left, the Freeglory began to dip down underneath the other one. Rufus looked up at Moe. "Ya 'eed to jump ya a** down 'ere! We 'eed to go!"

((Zerath was "killed" [that is in quotations because that is what Searil, Rufus, and Caleb believe currently] and the body was put into a containment cell in the Freeglory's hull. Alice and Moe are still on Polly's ship, and hopefully going to get back onto the Freeglory to go to Alden.))

OoC: So would saying, in brief, that Moe was saved and has taken to her room or what not after the incident effectively closing her self off for now while the other two have been bound and gaged else were aboard the ship for safe keeping? other details could be taken care of latter as they arise. Either way, I shall now add an incharacter post. OoC Zerath’s deathly cough died down to gasping breaths as the image cam to foliation, iron bars. ‘Do they think me some kind of demented fairy that can’t touch mere iron? What ingrates! I’ll-‘ he thought before a frightening slue of ideas came rushing in, ‘what if they enchanted, or worse, blessed?’ ‘What if they placed hidden traps that could do more than simply burn him if he left the cell?’ But nay, he was leaping ahead of himself, much less getting there. Pain witch had been rushing down his upper body had died down to skull splitting migraine. He again forced his right hand to push himself up and produced a rather familiar and disheartening sound, that of oceanic mater, that was thoroughly burnt to a crisp, snapping. While the snap accord Zerath felt his weight shift onto his right wings, which suddenly stopped supporting his mass; Zerath got the idea of what just happened when he fell. Then he felt some muscles in his midsection stretch and reach upwards as if they were reaching for som- ‘SeraphimWings!ThatMageBlastedMeIntwo!I’mGoingToK-’ Zerath thought in a sudden yipping rage before being interrupted by something relatively large being dragged off a ledge above him, something that was being tugged towards him by tendrils made of his own muscles. Zerath again realized something was about to happen, namely that the nerve endings for his lower half were about going to start rebuilding and given that his heart was already beating, that would take a minimal amount of time.It did not take much too accurately assume how Zerath was about to feel, and given that his loungs were nigh fully recovered, it did resound in a cry which pierced down to the marrow of mortal bones. It went a little something like this “Ahhh AIEEARGE! IWillSeeYouAllPay!!!” came his yell with a distinctive daemonic yip bleeding through.OoC: ples keep in mind Zerath’s revive took take any amount of time after he was ‘killed’ so use it to your avail as to when this happens, Jay (yesh, Zerath is a devil’s child alright…)

((Well, there crew's "mission" base was to get her back. They are probably going to leave the ship to "die". Since it does look beyond fubar right now. I'll let Rita decide when she gets back of what happens. I don't know about Scope though, I have no idea where he went. He never answered a PM I sent him.)) Alice missed, her kick landing into the ramshackle wall behind the woman, splintering the wood. The large hanging gun plopped onto her chest, which she was not in the mood for. Rufus caught a small sight of blue dress when he looked up at the ship. "Alice, we need ta' go!" Her legs arched, then pressed onto the ground as her hands did, standing back up. *** ((Slight time skip, might do some stuff with the fight to give it a better ending, just think of how Pulp Fiction did it.)) Cornelius watched a manometer on the box next to him. His left hand turning a slightly chipped dial. The blades of the large turbines increased, Cutting the air as they drew into the heart of Alden, Neo-London. "Just the slightest touch to the right....." Alice tapped the dial on the large metallic box. Her left hand press the headphone against her ear. A sudden yelling and ranting caused her to jump. Her right hand withdrew from the dial, the left smacked the sturdy heavy brass headphones off. She came out of the radio room, looking to the one besides it. The machine took hold of the knob, a quick twist and the door opened. When she saw what was on the ground, she wanted to vomit. Her face paled, eyes widened, and stomach quivered. Looking more mauled then she did at one point, she heard it yell at her. A hand to her mouth, she turned and ran up the stairs going into the lobby to see Rufus seated in a leather chair, smoking as he examined the copper chambers of one of his hand cannons. "What is that.....beast..in the containment cell?" Rufus looked to her. "Tha' dead bloke? We sent him ta' 'ell already." "You did a terrible job then, it is still alive, mostly..." A cry echoed from in the hull. "Very much alive." She added. Searil meticulous fingers flipped though the pages effortlessly. The blue grey eyes looked though the glass of the glasses in the dim room, the small stumps of candles being the most minimal light for the eyes as they skimmed through the pages. Sets of large tomes surrounded him at the desk. He leaned back slightly in the simplistic wooden chair, then arched his back, stretching, his hands leaving the book. His sight lazily looked back to the book. In one sudden moment, a picture caught his attention. The chair's front legs hit the wooden floor with a nice click. The page began with very quick and thin text, notable changes of quill being re-inked and beginning to scribe again. Most notably was the first word on top of the page in slightly larger dark brown text than the rest of the page. Zerath. He pushed the half moon spectacles closer to his eyes as they began to scan the writing, turning the pages and continuing. The door infront of him opened, dull light leaked into the room. He looekd up from the page, looking towards the two waiting at the open door. Light shining on the two large bookcases on either side of the room. "I am quite bu-" "He's still alive." Alice interrupted. "In immense pain....but still alive." Searil pushed away from the desk, then stood, taking once last glance at the book. "I should have known." He walked to towards both Alice and Rufus. "How do you know that?" "He's been screamin' bloody murder." Rufus kept walking with them though the lobby and down the stairs. Alice took a small moment to gag. "He split in two." "That should make this easier." Searil walked to the threshold of the entry into the small prison like cell. He looked down to see Zerath as Alice described him.

“Aha ha, ha.. ha.” Zerath gowned as the sensation dulled to a suitable point that it was not blinding “I’ll slay them for this!” he whimpered deathly and silently while shivering on the floor. Spin cracking pops erupted from his lower back; ‘verbal’ confirmation that his pine was realigning itself. As if the sensation of his spine grinding against itself and shedding its charred husk with was forcibly being expelled from his back was not enough of a hint.
Not bothering to put forth the effort to get up in a gravity defying manner, Zerath pushed himself up into a kneeling position, with quickly showed him that the largest and most painful pop was about to happen; it told him this by showing him the back of his heals and not the top of his knees. Shortly thereafter his upper body whipped around with a with a bone shattering crack that would do a chiropractor proud. What remained of his last coil was shiftily being expelled from his new one; the logistics of revival after being incinerated was so unseemly painful… and of one of the most annoying parts of all “You Wretches!” Zerath Yipped fiercely “Do you have any Idea how long it will take for these robes to restore themselves after this?!!” He continued enraged, for they not only had the nerve to try and kill him, but they nearly utterly destroy his favorite garment! “Sar Den’Grin, Ras Foul’gall…” he commandingly spat in annoyance as two puffs of black smoke appeared around him one after the other in reply; he simply hated being forced to change into his casual wardrobe after a failed attempt at intimidation, much less failed attempts.
Gone were his tattered and burnt robes and in their place were a red tunic, blue cloth pants and sandals, hardly a garment worthy of casing intimidation. Standing up at last, Zerath nearly feel right back down, his legs were still weak and… he was still on the confounded air ship. Zerath reminded himself to kill the thing’s operator with a Spork, an extra blunt and rusted Spork. Looking forwards Zerath saw the wall. ‘Right, I got snapped around when my torso untwisted itself.’ He thought while turning back around to face the bars… and then his ‘would be’ captures. “…How long have you all been gawking at me!?” he demanded while his left eyebrow lowed in counterbalance to his right that raised along with his left cheek; the signs of confusion fixed about his face swiftly shifted to anger as he resumed snarling at them "Confounded Mortals! Did you come to exercise your right to stupidity Again!!? And you, your kind irks me to no end! Do you have any clue how stupid you “magic users” are!? You are the first ones to try and slay me every time I turn around! And I’m a bloody Harbinger! Hell! You even look just like that bloody mage’s apprentice that tossed a fire down my mouth Centuries ago! And why did I get a fireball down my gullet!? Because I was delivering a bloody letter!” He yelled while glaring at Searil with a furious and fuming rage “Well? Out with it!” He spat angrily as the gears in his head speed towards the only conclusion his mind could offer given that he was held captive despite being burnt to cinders. ‘this old mage is going to try and make me is ill gotten familiar!’ he thought with indefinable worrying confidence ‘Well, I’ll kill him in his sleep if he tries! I’m a hell spawn, no common mage with a mere half century practical experience could ever…’ he continued before stopping chopping himself off mid sentence as it were while the air of confidence he had before suddenly began to evaporate ‘Wait, how old is this one? He did use a fairly strong flame magic, effortlessly without a full invocation or even a proper foci- … Crap… either an enchanter or a full blown wizard…’ he thought with grave indication, either had the means to subdue a hell spawn, and control of magic was always his weak point…
Suddenly fear stricken at the idea that, even if they could not slay him, the old bearded one could enslave him or worse yet the mortal might even be able banish him far off chance though it was, Zerath begun to produce a cold sweat. His sudden realization of what he believed the situation to be was further betrayed by his face, while his teeth were still barded forcibly, it was dune out of hesitance and not the boiling rage that had consumed his expression moments before. His eyes at stared fixedly with an all consuming bloodlust were franticly dancing about in a desperate yet futile search for a way out. In and of itself the iron cage was a joke, but when it had guards keen to his every move… it held him down better then he would have liked.

Derek was hanging in the shipyards, as usual. He couldn't help it, he felt safe here. It was a place where he'd spent his days as a child, and where he could be certain everyone knew him. But, that was another problem: everyone knew him. Whenever he went to the shipyards, he had to stay in the shadows. If anyone saw him, they would surely report his whereabouts to his mother, or the police, and he would be dragged off back to his false destiny. No, that was something he couldn't have. That was the reason he constantly mentally smacked himself whenever he returned. But, he also knew that he needed to be here. How could you begin a life of high adventure and sky pirates without being on an airship? And, there was only one place to find airships. So, there he stood, under the tall wooden steps of one of the warehouses, bathed in shadow and caked with dirt, hoping he looked just like everyone else.
