Probably Ashley from RE4. She does nothing constructive and just plays straight into every helpless female stereotype. That, and I get sick of rescuing her all the time. >__<
And, while I don't despise her nearly as much as I do Ashley, I think it would be nice if Lara Croft had some distinguishing features besides boobs. xp

Xianghua and Taki (slutty and she screams too much!) from soul calibur... and this new chick what's her face.... Setsuka... all three are hard to control and hard to beat... and they're just annoying...
Xiaoyu from Tekken... because she's just... annoying...
Peach from... every mario game... cuz she's weak and good for nothing...

I don't like ther masculine female characters in any game. Ivy dresses like crap and has too deep of a voice for me. Any girl characters who want to be heroines but whine and complain and act spoiled get on my nerves as well. I hate those stereotypes.
I also agree that our female heroines should dress more appropriately for the battles they're fighting in. No one in thier right mind would fight in heels and a boustier. stare And if they tried they'd be dead in less than 5 mins.

I can't stand Rinoa...she's so mary-sue -_-'
Though I can't stand Sophia from SO3
and I don't like Peach either...
and I agree on the fact that *some* game-heroines indeed dress like they're going to a striptease stare
I don't mind Ashley as a character, she's annoying when around though because I have to protect her, while I have my hand full at protecting myself X_x

I cant say that there are any female characters that I dislike... but I'de have to say any character that is well, very damsel-in-distress like. I mean, sure, ok. Characters like Nina from the tekken series, etc. Were created by men. Pervish in the sense of dressing, cup size, etc. But Thast's not what bothers me. It's the actual character's position in the game. Thats why I can't say I like Kairi from Kingdom Hearts, etc. Because they're just delicate little farts running about screaming for the guys to save them.
And I know that some might not approve, but my role model is Lara Croft from the Tomb Raider Series. Well, the original games and the most recent game; miss out the angel of darkness game. Scary.
I mean, well, you know what I'm getting at. Well, at least I hope you do. Ah well, if you don't understand and you're actually interested, pm me...

Don't know if anyone's said this yet, but Reith from Magna Carta. She needs to die. Most expediently. Half the time, you're trying to keep the monters from killing her cause they know she sucks, and the other half you're waiting on her to gather enough chi to be useful and heal. Others who annoy me (though less than Reith):
Farrah (PoP) ~ Why bother saving her? She gets herself killed! Cassandra (Soul Calibur 2)~ Oh lord, get your OWN STYLE. Princess Zelda(LoZ)~ ....I WANT SHEIK BACK, DAMMIT!!! Kairi (KH)~ Why must you be so useless?

I name Bloodrayne. I haven't ever played the games, but I've heard so many reviews and critics of those games- all she has to give is a very hookerish outlook and boobs. Shame on her.
And AnimeRavenLaura: I too respect Lara Croft. Her imago was ruined after Tr 2... but Legend bring her back into the hills of glory. Hail Lara~

Aeris ... she was such an awful character to have on the party. She didn't really do anything but take damage. Plus I always liked Tifa more. Tife + Cloud = heart

I hate female videogame characters who are weak, helpless, always in distress, overly naive, *stupid* or so top-heavy they shouldn't be able to stand up straight. stressed Why do so many female characters, (in videogames, anime/manga, comics, movies, TV and books alike), have to fall under so many of those catagories?? People need to be more open-minded.

Tifa (FFVII): She was obsessed with Cloud to a disgusting degree. She couldn't breathe properly unless Cloud was there to tell her how. She wasn't given a personality of her own. And it doesn't matter if you can fight well if you're just going to play damsel when it suits you.
Rinoa (FFVIII): She had to be saved six or seven times in one game. Literally. And whenever she was there all the attention had to be on her. Remember the scene when the whole gang was thinking of their pasts and she burst in to put the spotlight back on herself?
Kairi (Kingdom Hearts): She is another girl who is way too obsessed with the main character. For her, everything was about Sora from the very beginning. She was also a horrible friend to Riku, rolling her eyes at his dreams and "joking" about leaving him behind even though he wanted to leave so much. And the last time she saw him, he was risking his life to save her with the last of his strength and we got no indication that she cared. I don't like characters who pick favorites so strongly.
Yuna (FFX-2): Now, Yuna was great in FFX. But for some reason she went completely downhill in FFX-2. One of the points in FFX was that she became strong and independent with her own dreams and goals. And in FFX-2 she became Rikku. Not the awesome FFX Rikku... the watered down FFX-2 Rikku.
Precious (Star Ocean 2): The voice.... THE VOICE!!!! Normally I don't care... but my gosh!

LilKitty115 Am I the only person here who likes Aeris? sweatdrop I like her because of her optimistic personality and her tendency to not be all "KILL KILL KILL!!!" Plus, she likes flowers, I like flowers. She'd be like my best friend. I gave Aeris the benefit of the doubt because she knew she was needed for the journey, and as a character she was optimistic and genuinely cared for everyone and everything. I don't think she (or Tifa) are good matches for Cloud, and she's definitely not one of my favorites (not much depth to her character) but I don't hate her. Edit: I'd also like to say that I hate it when people say they laugh at her death. Sure, I didn't like her at the time, but I didn't think that was funny at all.... No matter how much I don't like a character, I don't think their deaths would be funny (especially since it affects characters I do like.)
