I knew it!
There was no way Daiyu wouldn't be able to remember him, not after what they went through together with Aidan. "Hold it!" Lance exclaimed, moving in closer to the Daiyu-lookalike. "You may look like her, sound like her, walk like her, talk like her, but..."

Lance took a dramatic pose as he blocked the person's path. "You cannot fool me! Sure-Strike Technique: Booty Grab!"

Wrapping his arms around the person, he quite literarily felt up the person's bum, and with it in his grip, he started circling around. "There's no way this butt belongs to the real Daiyu! I should know, the time she spent piggyback riding me left the supple touch of those curves firmly imprinted in my brain! Even if it is very close, you cannot imitate it exactly!"

Releasing his grip on the person's butt, he moved up his hand and wrapped it around the person's neck, while bringing up a dagger with his free hand to the person's throat. "Who are you, and what have you done with Daiyu?"

Sue had given up on waiting for Rhys. The message would have to be to her group, that he just wasn't able to make it. Oh well. She tried, didn't she? That's what counted!

Upon riding her horse into the gathering of people, she too heard Ganon's tale. It was a lot like the story of the Seven Legends of Elibe. "Powerful people coming together to defeat an ancient evil. These stories are everywhere..."

Victoria watched as Arashe and Leon's battle raged on. The sniper had triggered the hot-headed knight's anger, and made him swing wildly with his close-ranged weapon. "If only that boy would focus, he'd have Arashe beat. Of course, he's playing on his weakness. It's a good move..."

"Hm..." Brown eyes stared curiously at each booth. There were just so many to choose from! How could Ephie expect her to choose just one?! It was unreasonable! Completely unreasonable! So, the little girl turned to Ephraim with a small frown on her face. "I don't know... There's too many!!" She spun around once, looking at the booths again.

He chuckled softly again and knelt down to her level. "how about we start from the left and work our way around? First game is knocking milk bottles" pointing toward his left where a stand had three bottles stacked in a triangle form. Maybe it wasn't Amara's ideal game but its a start.

It was days like these Kris missed his ability to transform into a dragon. Oh it was days like these…

If Kris’s acting as Daiyu was bad before… well lets just say if Daiyu had really been around, she would have done the same thing.

In one quick motion Kris, stomped on Lance’s foot as hard as he possibly could, and slapped the morph square in the face. A snarl started to creep over Kris’s features, as he sent a death glare at the boy. “Don’t you touch me, you—“ If things weren’t already bad enough, they just got worse as the boy transformed back into his former self and was left staring at these people who now knew who he was… though, they still might not have known what he was.

“Uh… well…” Kris fumbled for some words to cover up the little scene that had just taken place while mentally screaming for Hatmon. “How would you know anyway? You’ve never slept with h—“ And it was then that just as he wished, Hatmon appeared, though much to his displeasure that she had landed on his back.

Manakete Kris

Tsk, tsk, Kris, tsk, tsk.

Hatmon was humming in an idle manner as she watched the events between the impersonating Kris and people who actually seemed to know who he was impersonating unfold. No lucky break for the manakete today, well not yet anyway. The foxy girl knew Kris better than anyone, and just at a glance could tell him apart from others, despite his perfect replication. She could also tell that even if he managed to maintain the ruse, his cover would be undoubtedly blown in the end… he seemed to be failing anyway though. Still, like all things transformation had a limit, and Kris was drawing near his whether he was ready or not, a shame this wasn’t exactly the best time either.

Best go rescue him, can’t have him getting killed or anything—

Her train of thought cut off as her senses became suddenly very alert and she opened her wings and darted off the roof. She would rejoin Ganon later if possible, but first a blue haired man needed her help. Just as Kris’s transformation ended and Kris reverted back to his originally, still highly girlish state, Hatmon made her entrance into the little event of sorts. With, precise timing, and angles, she pounced on Kris’s back causing him to lean over and almost fall completely to the ground. It didn’t help that Hatmon was now perched on the manakete’s back either and had no plans of getting off.

“Forgiveness, please, for my trickster of a friend,” she chirped, a playful smile on her face as she spoke. “I personally, haven’t a clue who my friend here was impersonating, but obviously it seems to be someone you all knew, hm? Was any trouble caused?”

Lance shifted from yelping at a stomped foor to flinching from a slap. And in front of his eyes, Daiyu suddenly turned into err...something else.

"Uh...wait...so you're a...at least, I think you are...what the heck are you? A shapeshifter?"

Lance suddenly felt a bit sick. If it was a shapeshifter, he had no way of knowing its gender, and if so, he might've actually molested a guy...but he quickly recovered. "Uhm..." he said, while scratching the back of his head, then he chuckled as he grinned like an idiot. "Well, I wouldn't know, it's not like I have a gift or anything. I just thought it'd sound cooler than 'You should remember me, so you can't be the real thi-'"

Lance was cut off as a creature appeared out of nowhere. Almost knocking the err, thing over, she spoke back at Lance. "I, uhm..." Lance started, but he couldn't help but be enthralled by the creature. He blushed as he replied. "Oh, it's no worries. I was just too surprised to see an old friend, that's all. I take it you two are aquaintances of some sort. I'm Lance Dartel, how do you do?"

FD smiled back at Nils as the performing bard finished his story about the heroes. FD put his hand over Nils and stared into his eyes, warmly admiring him for some time before returning his attention to the performing bard, who seemed to have other topics to sing about.

Amara hugged Berry tightly, nodding. "Alright!!" She skipped over to the stand, beckoning to Alihi. "Mommy, can you pay please?"

Alihi smiled, handing the person behind the booth two coins. "Up you go, Amara..." The tactician carefully picked up her daughter, holding her securely. Amara was then handed a soft-ball. "Now, toss it at the milk bott--"

Wham. Toss? More like chuck as hard as a four year old could! The person in charge barely had enough time to get out of the way before the ball went past his head, off from the milk bottles by about half a foot.

"... Nice arm, Amara." Alihi said nervously, looking to the guy in charge before staring at Amara.

The child just giggled happily.

“Good. Now I would kindly ask you not to touch my employer in the future,” Hatmon said, making sure the warning hung in the air for e moment before lighter subjects were touched up upon. “Lance, huh? Just what are you, you smell weird.” The chimera’s mouth turned into a frown as she spoke, trying to identify the man’s curious scent. It wasn’t one she was familiar with, and it baffles her more than Kris’s had when she first met him. After all, what kind of man, looks, smells, and talks like a girl? If Kris had never told her, she would to this day still calling him ‘she’.

“I digress though. You may call me Hatmon, and this one here,” she motioned to Kris, pawing his head lightly in a loving manner, “is Kris. My pet name for Kris is Krissy though.” While Hatmon spoke, Kris did not butt in, not that he could if he wanted to. The chimera was still comfortably perched on his back and her tail had placed itself so that it was covering his mouth.

Ganon seemed... taken aback! "My... story?" He sat down on the edge of the stage again, looking thoughtful as he set his guitar down by his side. "I'm afraid it's not as interesting as you might imagine..." His cheeks and neck flushed a slightly darker green as he reached up to rub the back of his neck, and then he sighed. "But, if you wish... then I can't help but comply." He broke into a smile, reaching once more for his drums. He slid down off the stage and set the drums on the ground while he folded his legs curiously to sit behind them.

Without appearing to move anything but his arms, Ganon brought his palms down on the surfaces of the drums and began to play.

"My birth name is Ganon V'Chek. I am, of course, neither human nor laguz. I am a hgi-val," he explained, manipulating his tongue and throat in incomprehensibly complex ways to speak the name of his race. "I was born," he said, "In the jungles of Brisal, on the continent of Tokka. My father was my tribe's mnoh-ha't`chk, which you would say as 'dreamweaver'. The mnoh-ha't`chk is the storyteller for the rest of the clan. I was the first to hatch from my mother's first clutch, and so I was meant to follow in his footsteps." He picked up the tempo and went into a rather impressive riff for a moment, then drew it back and continued to speak.

"My father taught me to play. It was a long, long process that took many long years. It was years before he even allowed me to touch a drum. I hunted. I learned. I played, I told stories. It... wasn't a terribly interest--" He paused.

But there was a good story in there. He swapped his tail in for his left claw as he lifted it to his face to draw his finger along his eyepatch.

"This... is a story of hubris, and a lesson well-learned. When I was sixteen, some sixty-three years ago, I was hunting alone for food. The jungles of my birthplace were home to creatures unheard of here in Learania. Giant snakes and dangerous jaguars, beautiful (and might I add, delicious) plume-bearing mimic-birds and of course, rodents of truly unusual size." He lowered his hand out and beat out a complicated riff on his drums before resuming his tale.

"It was one of these rodents that I hunted that day. I had been tracking his scent for over an hour. He was certainly not the first I had brought down, nor would I be the last, but I will never-- I can never forget this one. They were aggressive creatures when cornered, and I forgot that in my arrogance. I forgot how dangerous and crafty a rat that size can be. The thing had climbed a tree to wait for me. I had assumed I was too quiet, too good for it to catch me chasing it. It dropped on me from above and went for my eyes. I'm lucky its teeth didn't find one of them, but its claws... I killed it, and dragged it back..." His tune became quieter, more ominous. "I knew I was bleeding, but I could still see a little through my left eye... but it was getting darker, I assumed it was just all the blood covering it, or my eyelid swelling..." He reached around with his tail and flipped up his eyepatch for a moment. It wasn't terribly gruesome, just a faded green scar where the skin had long-since sealed closed.

"The doctors tried their best, but healing magic only does so much, of course. They had to remove it, and sewed my eye shut, then healed it to seal it over." He rapidly beat his drums, then added, "Never underestimate a foe just because you've beaten him once. It only takes one surprise." He smiled, the story of his life more or less forgotten now.

"Now, I think it's time I invited some of you up to tell stories, hmm? I do hate to hog the stage." He grinned, standing and climbing up once more onto the wooden platform. "Anyone have something they would like to share?"

A story to tell? Sue had one! She wanted to get up on the stage and share it... wondering if anyone would give her the same interest and amazement as they did towards Ganon. She was awed by his performance. "Um, I don't have music to go along with the tale, bard... Ganon. I heard your name whispered from rumors. How great to see you in person. If you'd do the honors of giving me a tune as I speak of my own story?"

Nino smiled. She was awed by Ganon. She soaked in his tale, amazed by his skill with the drums. She looked over at Sue as she made her request. "Yay, more stories!" She leaned closer to Blossom and said quietly, "Wasn't that interesting?"
