Soultrain I've worked out in the heat, you do get used to it after awhile. It's the going in and out of the air conditioning that will wipe you out. ya. the heat doesnt bother me after while and especially if im watching the race i wont think about it. I have to deal with 100+ degree weather with limited breaks and no shade for ten hours for 2 weeks for marching band. Then 3+ hours a day for 3 months in that heat.

I'm back!
First things first. It's good to be home and away from the base.
Second, this is the discussion thread, not the other thread. Only picks go in the competition thread.
Finally, I managed to catch the last 22 laps of the race while I was away. I'm pretty sure we can all agree that it was a wild finish. xD

Haven't there been enough penalties handed out this season? The volume of posts in the other thread has dramatically decreased since this creation of this thread. There will be a few non related posts from time to time in that thread, you don't need to be scaring everybody. we've all been guilty of that. Keep in mind there are now about 9 or 10 people playing each and every week. The last few years we only had 4-6 playing so there will be more traffic on the thread.

It isn't that bad right now, and I'm not gonna slap penalties on people for what's in there recently, but I just don't want it to get to a point where it's almost impossible to understand where the picks are coming from again. A little is fine, but there comes a point where it's taking half an hour to figure out what is going on. Quotes that seem to go on forever are more what I want to get rid of over there.

Ambrose qualified 3rd. Hopefully he avoids trouble this weekend. I have the feeling many of us are going to be pissed after this race.

I feel so sorry for Scott Speed..I was hoping that he would make it...You know you have to see the irony though... It was 2 years ago when A.J. was a rookie and slipped up on qualifying at Sonoma... only difference is the car number... stare Red bull curse perhaps...

Im not : ) I always have bad picks so it will be nothing new for me. Why does nobody ever pick Brian Vickers? He is almost always fast and he can come up with good finishes and it seems like he never gets picked.
