 A small sigh escaped her. "I was at the challenge, after we were told to tackle Chris, I was under the impression we were supposed to remove his clothes to dress him up. Which I don't mind as long as I don't have to touch his pants since I don't want to see that. But I went to remove his shirt, and Chris screamed, and then Chef was screaming at me and," She buried her face in Ravyn's chest. "I never felt so bad this whole time I've been here. So I ran away before anyone could see me cry." She then smiled up at him gently, showing obviously that while she was bothered, Ravyn had calmed her down enough to no longer cry about it, "A seagull huh? Well its very nice to meet you.. What were you told about this place to be tricked here?"

 Ravyn shrugged. "That is amusing at the very least Serena." He chuckled, a very rare occurrance for Ravyn. He looked at her honestly. "Do not worry about it, no one will hurt you horribly for what you did."
He shook his head, no, they would not dislike her for pulling Chris's shirt off. "It is nice to meet you too." He blinked, honestly disturbed by her question. "I was told I would be offered a way to make my past disappear if I won.. What did they tell you?"

A smile came to her face. Well at least she made someone else happy. Hearing his comforting words, she smiled and gave a nod to that. "I certainly hope not. However," A serene small smile came to her face, "If someone did want to hurt me, and it would make everything better, I respect that too." She didn't mind paying for her crimes. She opened her eyes and smirked, "Strange enough, I was told it would be a wilderness survival camp." She had questions about what his past was but she left them alone. "You didn't go to the challenge?" She questioned.

He shook his head. "It is not bad to hurt oneself, though it is also not fun to be hurt to make things right." Ravyn commented, holding her still. "It seems we were all told different things to lure us here." He smirked, mildly amused. "No, I went. I was not happy, but I went. I just left after I failed to catch Chris my first attempt."

His words made her blink curiously at him, tilting her head a bit. She didn't understand however, she respected his words all the same. She then gave a nod. "I understand why now you might not have seen what happened then. I failed to catch him too. Chef threw him at my team." She closed her eyes and rested her head on Ravyn's shoulder now. "People will think terrible things of my team, and of me.. I shouldn't worry about that.. but I feel bad if my team gets labeled for something I did you know? I don't want anyone to suffer for my mistakes."

He shook his head, not caring to reveal what he meant by those first words. "Did you pick a good costume for him to wear?" Ravyn smirked, he liked that hell fur suit that oen of his cabin mates had come up with.
"I believe only Chris and Chef will think poorly of you and your team for that. The rest of the campers will most likely love you for humiliating Chris that way." His smirk stayed, he sure thought it was amusing. "No one will suffer for a mistake you made."

Serena closed her eyes feeling tired from all the crying and for the first time since the incident she felt safe again. A soft smile was on her face. "I was kinda late to the challenge since I've been making up for a first mistake. So by the time I got there, I only had a few minutes to throw something together so I made a cheerleading outfit. What did you make?" She glanced up at him, curious. The blue haired girl frowned at the idea. "I wish I had thought a little more before acting." Sighing she glanced over at him a sweet sorrowful look over her face as she did her best to try and smile. "You've been so nice to me to stay out here with me. I plan on sleeping out here tonight since I am so ashamed. If you want to leave, you can. I don't want to be a burden to you." She then looked around. "Uh.... Ravyn... do you know how we get back to camp? I normally mark the trail but I had no intention of going back, really.." She whispered softly, barely audible, "That is until you made me feel better. Thanks for that."

(ooc: a note to my forest rp buddies, i will be at comic-con from wednesday afternoon through sunday night with no internet access. i may have time to rp through wednesday afternoon depending on how long packing up my car and last minute errands take, but most likely this is ozzie's farewell for the next few days.)

Ravyn rested his head on the nearest tree, "I showed up on time to the challenge, but I did not put much effort into it." He shrugged, "I drew a random thing, looked like one of the people that bothered me before the camp." Ravyn smirked, though it wasn't the innocent smirk that people thought. For some reason his facial expressions always seemed dark.
"If you are going to spend the night out here we should go to the shelter just off this trail.." He had found it while wandering around one day. It was good for staying out of the rain at least, even if it wasn't good for living. "The camp is back that way." He gestured with a paw towards the end of the trail. "Just follow this trail out and you are at the camp again." Her voice might not have been very loud but there weren't many things to distract him from listening to her intently. "It is good you feel better Serena."

Serena smiled gently even if his expression was one of mischievous thoughts. "I bet it must have looked interesting." She glanced up at him curiously, "Can you please show me where the shelter is? I understand if you have things to do so you can't stay or you don't want to.." She sounded sad at the idea but she would respect Ravyn's decision. She smiled at him. "Thank you. If it wasn't for you I wouldn't have gotten up at all." It was true. She would have laid there the whole night.

"It was not that interesting." He shrugged, setting the female in his lap on the ground so he could get up. "I am not going to carry you there." Ravyn shook his head, closing his eyes as he waited for her to stand.
"I will stay with you tonight, you might wander off into poison ivy again." His tail was itching, they had been awfully close to it. "If you had laid there all night there would not be an effective treatment for your skin in this camp." The thought made him laugh, though he didn't do it aloud. No, that would have been rude. Why be rude to someone who actually liked him?!

As she was put down on the ground she blinked. Oh man! She didn't even REALIZE she had been in his lap that long! A sigh escaped her, "Sorry I'm more observant then that usually." She stood up and brushed herself off. To be honest, Ravyn was probably the first to see Serena looked so disheveled. Her long blue hair was all over in the place, and in her face, she had dirt in her fur, and her face remained stained from old tears. "I can walk no problem." She smiled brightly... right before that smile dropped from her face. "Poison... ivy?" Her voice dripped with a growing concern. "Uh..." She looked down at her skin. "I was near.... poison ivy?!" She sighed. "That's my luck for today I guess." Her eyes grew wide as she looked at Ravyn. "You didn't get near it did you!?" She sounded so worried as her eyes raced their gaze over his exposed furs.

He shook his head, not actually caring if she had been in his lap that long. His shirt was still damp so it couldn't have been too long since she stopped crying. "Yes, poison ivy." He stated, his tone bored. "I was careless when picking you up. I got my tail in it." As a result he was keeping it as far away from his paws as possible. "No matter, I will not scratch it and make it worse. It is only a mild annoyance compared to what I usually do..." Ravyn's voice trailed off, leading her through the trail. This was probably the most he had spoken in years.

A frustrated groan came from her. "Oh man, I'm really sorry Ravyn. Um..." She looked around. "Let's see.. hold on. I'll fix this I swear!" Her search had her wander around for a few minutes before she stopped dead in her tracks. Well wasn't THIS little beauty making her happy! She glanced over to Ravyn, examining the tail, before plucking quite a few strange plants with sleek orange flowers. Serena glanced up to see he was already on the move before running after him, arms full of the stuff. "Do you like to be alone out here a lot?" She wanted to try to get to know this camper if they would let her.

He shook his head. Ravyn didn't really care that his tail was itching. "This is nothing, you do not have to help it in any way." He held back a few branches to reveal a small shelter he had found before. "It is not much but it is good to keep the rain off you. I suppose we could add walls if you would like..." Ravyn mumbled, trailing off. That wasn't like him at all.
"Hmm? Yes, I prefer to be alone out here. No one can dislike me if I do not hang around them" He replied, honestly preferring to spend most of his nights out here. It was a lot quieter too. Even if it did get stinky from time to time. "Just watch out for wild animals, they will not hesitate to hurt you if you threaten them." Not that he knew she was so good with survival things and stuff.
