Gian blushed. Never in all her life had anyone called her pretty. The scar on her face saw to that. However, looking at him, she doubted Conor would have such issues with scars. She smiled at Conri, holding a hand out to let him smell her before she made a move to pet him. Animals, in their own way, were very courteous, always following their natural protocol, and she was always careful not to break this. It showed them respect.
"I used to have a cat. A big black cat that I named Dracula. But when my mother died, my dad made me gt rid of him. He was very superstitious and hated black cats with a passion." She paused. Talking about Drake always upset her. "I used to wish that one day he'd find his way to my dad's house and jump in my window. I would keep him a secret, and he could live in my room."
She thought for a moment. "Familiar, you said? Like, in Wicca? Or is that something to do with this school? Like I was telling Professor D'Monde, I don't really know anything about this place." There she was again, fishing for information.

 [/imgleft] Conor noticed Gian's blush and smiled. "Well, ya nevah know. Maybe soomeday yeh might find 'em." he tried to say reassuringly. "As for Conreh, I mean familiah as in the koind ya feed aura energeh off inta. Because'a that we can koinda communicate between each oothah." Conor looked down to Conri as he finished speaking and saw the dog wagging his tail, he then sniffed Gian's hand and licked it.

"Interesting you'd come to such an Academy without knowing what our main purpose is. You could probably get most of your information from our library if needed." Carlisle gave Gian a smile. "There are different type of activities around here, professors for each one of them. But, our main purpose is - like the title suggests, Aura." He explained, "You wont get anywhere, Gian, only talking to me though. I suggest any chance you get, you talk to as many people as possible, both student, and professors. I promise that this bunch of students seems like an interesting batch, wouldn't you say?" He ended it off with a wink.
and has time enough.
ooc; terribly sorry for the wait. I haven't been so active on Gaia as I used to be.

 Gian shuffled her stance to put her weight on the left leg, a nervous habit. She'd read things about auras before, but never really understood them. "Well, I shall do that, then. I would hate to be the only person here who doesn't know the way all this works. Besides, from what I do know about auras, it should be an interesting read."

The butterfly counts not months but moments, ooc; Due to family and personal issues, I haven't found myself as active on Gaia. . . As a proper forewarning this time, the week days may be a little slow for me because school is starting back up this Monday. Weekends although - if I don't have anything planned, which I normally don't, I will tend to be a little more active. I'm sorry but my school work doesn't necessarily mean a lot to me, but it is more important, and I used to bring home homework that carried on into the night(aka; consuming my computer time) in my Freshman year, so I'm fairly sure my Sophomore year will be the same, if not worse.

I promise, there are probably plenty of students here who don't know much about Aura, but that is what we are here for," he said. "Now, is there anything else you need help with? ((I'll be checking up on things from time to time when I'm able too but, between work, school coming up, my girlfriend, WoW [yes, that game unfortunately is time consuming. Thankfully there's windowed mode at least], and trying to learn the bass I don't know how much I'll be available. Still, I'll do what I can to get things moving again and pass the word to Sylvir too. We'll just have to wait things out and see.))
