The Crystals broke, shattering on spot like glass where Iwa sank back into the earth. Ren wouldn't be able to get out until Kaimen showed up, he was in the bottom cellars of the Tsuchi Dojo.

Almost half an hour later Ren finally regained consciousness. He sat up but didn't have the energy to stand up yet. Ren didn't recognize where he was right now since he had never been downstairs in the Tsuchi Dojo.

Ren finally found the energy to stand up and walked towards the cellar's stairs.
When Ren reached the Dojo's main floor, he shut the floor doors to the cellars before he spotted Kaimen walking in.

Ren weakly threw up a hand to his forehead in a salute to his Sensei.
"I--I don't know..
I came running back to here after that huge thing got stunned back there."

Kaimen said throwing him a rice cake.
"That will recharge your chakra quickly. We need to start training you faster."

Ren quickly reacted and caught the rice cake.
"Was I slacking off that bad?"
He took a bite out of the rice cake.

"No, the threat is just growing. Besides, it's boring being the only one that knows how to use the earth. Meet me outside for a spar when you've finished that."
Kaimen said this as he walked out of the door.

Ren slapped his face when he heard the word "duel". He hadn't learned enough to even get close to beating his Sensei.
Ren finished the rice cake quickly and already felt his chakra reserves being replenished.
The Hyuuga walked out the Dojo's doors and followed Kaimen.

"You have learned the basics of Tsuchi Style. Defense, and manipulation."
Kaimen took a stance.
"Here I will teach you how to become the earth. Just as you had poured your chakra into it, you have to let it, pour it's chakra into you. There's is no way you can feel this, you can only move through it, as if the earth was air itself!"
Kaimen turned now, to face Ren.

Ren scratched his head when he stopped in front of Kaimen.

"That's why I'll force you to understand. The Rules of this fight are simple, you can only use the earth!"
Kaimen stomped, sending a rolling mound of ground towards Ren.

As a second nature, Ren focused chakra to the bottom of his sandals and sprang sideways to avoid the rolling mound.
He snatched up a stray rock that was on the ground and carved it into a rock-shuriken with his chakra.
Ren chucked the shuriken at Kaimen and started to perform handseals.

Kaimen Stomped with his other foot, creating a wall, that would block the shuriken and then moved that again, this time with greater speed towards Ren.
