Daizing awoke abruptly, shooting forward but not screaming out in pain knowing his arm was already dislocated. Looking around at the products his apprentice left out he simply grabbed his arm, holding it up with the other, and then sprinted into a wall. With a loud thud and a crack, his shoulder was popped back in place. He stood by the wall for a while, biting his lip as his eyes watered.

Lina blinked a few times as she awoke from her restless sleep. After a look at the window of her room she grumbled something about a broken light timer before changing into her usual outfit, sans armor and weapons.
A short while later the girl was running through a hand-to-hand Kata. It started similar to the basic taijutsu some ninja used. Showing signs of being well trained before her motions turned very different. The strikes seemed off to just about anyone watching as she began. Most of her strikes seemed completely random, showing what gave a strong feeling of a lack of training.
A few moments later and the girl was in the air, controlling her movements almost like she was able to fly, if not for the fact that she only had a slightly abnormal hang-time. She was still preforming the extremely random strikes and kicks that didn't follow any trained form. Her motions still seeming to be bizarre in the sense that there was no clear style to the attacks.
After her last leap she landed on one hand, though she was repelling the hand with rai energy, keeping herself balanced just a few inches above the ground.

There was a loud thud on Lina's door.
"C'mon, you need to hurry up and get to a higher Rank. We're going to have to speed up the training."

Lina blinked a few times at the knocking before shrugging, flipping back to her feet and exiting the room, after tossing a basic strap around her usual blade and tightening it to herself.
"Alright" she replied, leaving the room and kicking the door shut behind her quickly.
"More of the same today?" she asked, subconsciously forming the minimal variation of the technique.

Daizing began walking upstairs, to the higher reaches of the Rai dojo.

The girl blinked but shrugged and followed.
"A surprise this time?"

By now they would've reached the roof, where a massive lightning storm had been occurring for a while, it seemed. In truth, there was no storm, but it was a simulated program. Turning it off Daizing pointing to a large electrical outlet, and pulled out a fork.
"You're going to absorb as much electricity as you can." He said, holding it with an outstretched arm.

She blinked then looked at him. "Without emptying my reserves in advance or releasing it I take it?" she asked as she grabbed the fork.
She paused for a moment before adding. "So just hold all I can in this one of my regular forms, or is this like the technique I heard about that converted the energy into size...." blinking in confusion upon remembering a glimpse of Neko shifting after absorbing a lightning bolt.

*sighs and prepares myself sticking the fork into the socket and feeling the surge as my reserves began to refill what my workout had taken*

She blinked a few times but nodded. Noticing electricity running along the fur on her tail. After a moment she had clamped down on her energy while still letting the electricity from the socket in. "I've never tried anything like this before... always it was form a seal, or change my shape... or just a re-charge... never this" she muttered, turning off her false electrical pattern as she noticed her body was habitually faking small nerve twitches associated with the electrical signals running through her body.

Daizing crossed his arms and watched. He was half expecting her to explode, and half expecting her to cry, but for the most part he was impressed. Given her sitting there for the first few seconds meant she had promise, and possibly the capability to even exceed her own potential. He was going to train her harder from now on.

A shiver went down the girl's spine, and she was unsure if it was due to the electrical current or something different.
She stared blankly as she was taking in the energy. She felt her reserves straining. More importantly she noticed her arm seemed to shiver as it tried to convert the energy to keep herself from overload, attempting to force her Kitsune shape-shifting abilities or even her blocked dragon transformation to awaken just to allow the electricity to spread to a larger area. A moment later and she pulled the fork loose, letting it go and taking a calm look at her hand.
