"They were hardly worth the effort it would have taken," Daemon sighed. "Though I was tempted for the first one. She was too damn perky. The second was too pathetic, and the third was... cute." He said the word with a scowl, like it was a curse.

"Then you clearly didn't meet the boy," Daemon observed. "With his level of cuteness, one could easily obtain anything they wished. For example, he was looking for his mentor and, though he was clearly an idiot and I would have liked to shove him off the nearest cliff, I found myself helping him."
