ashlander_alpha ScorchMaster16 ashlander_alpha ScorchMaster16 @Ash- Yeah Metal Slug is pretty awesome too. Honorable mention is also Gunstar Heroes! It has "Metal" in the name. Is there any doubt? Not at all, but even so it has some bad titles in it's series like 4. Metal Slug 3 was the best one. Metal Slug 5 was the most metal. Seriously you have to play 5. 1, 2, and X are good. I don't know what to think of 6. And I've yet to play 7. I mean, come on, having "metal" in the name automatically means it's gonna be good. Metal Gear, Twisted Metal, Metal Arms, Metal Dungeon...well, maybe not that last one. sweatdrop What's Metal Dungeon? I've never heard of it but from your reaction I take it that it sucks.

An early release for the original Xbox back in 2002. And yes, it does suck. One of very, very few RPGs on that system, it was some sort of bizzare ARPG with no real story, much tedium, and bugs galore.

I just went to a Pirates game last night. The Indians beat us 5-4, but it got really exciting at the end. Rallied from 5-0 in the bottom of the ninth. Got to where we were one run down, bases loaded, 2 outs, cleanup hitter at the plate... even got to a full count.
Ahhh.... 'twas fun.

I'm not much of a follower of sports, but I love going to a sporting event when I get a chance to. I believe two out of the three or four times I went to a Carolina Hurricanes game they ended up going into a shootout and winning. A lot of fun to watch and feel the electricity in the air.

I've only ever had 1 chance to go to an NHL game. Watched the Kings beat the Avalanche 5-1 or 5-2... I don't remember exactly. I do, however remember, that Patrick Roy got yanked after giving up 4 goals, which sucked to see since he's my favorite hockey player.

Hey, any of you guys play Guilty Gear style fighting games of any sort. If so, Blazblue came out and it's really fun. Not to mention it has a really awesome soundtrack that I know you guys will love. I'm wondering what you guys opinion on it is.

Wasn't even aware of its existence, actually. confused The only recent release I've been even remotely interested is Prototype. It's been a pretty dry summer as far as I'm concerned.

I've also played Prototype. I rented it and I liked what I played but I couldn't help feeling like it was missing something. Also, I played the demo for Red Faction: Guerilla and that seems pretty fun. Lastly I finished F.E.A.R. 2 this week which was a pretty cool experience even though it wasn't a summer game.

It seemed interesting, but not the sort of thing I'd consider paying full price for. I'll wait a few months for it to ratchet down in price before I pick it up online. Haven't tried F.E.A.R. 2 yet. I was playing Fallout 3 for about 2 or 3 months, so that release kinda passed me by without me missing it. Again, not something I'd pay full price for. Something I really wanna pick up, though, is the Raiden Fighters Aces compilation that came out a couple months ago. I adore old-school arcade shooters.

I love old school shoot em up games. Bullet hell games are the best. I just hate how Cave, the best developer for the genre only makes games for Japanese 360 and the American 360 is Region Locked. How absolutely dreadful! There was this game I saw on youtube called Death Smiles that looks really awesome but it's a Japanese only release.
