Cat rolled her eyes. "Once again, he's out. We can as make as much noise as we want," she added, raising an eyebrow in a semi-suggestive way; then she smirked and took another sip of her tea. He was just too fun to mess with.

"And how much noise are you going to be making reading a book after taking a cold shower? Because that is all that is going to happen here..."

Cat's eyes widened guilelessly. "Spider, I'm shocked; how on earth could you misinterpret an innocent statement like that so completely? I was simply pointing out that the good doctor is very much asleep, and that this person can throw whatever kind of temper tantrum he likes without having to worry about it." She cocked her head slightly. "You seem grumpier than usual, actually; problems at home? Poor baby..."

"Well, you seem.." Looking at her now, Peter could plainly see, he knew cat had aged very gracefully, but she was definately missing wrinkles. "...Younger?" he finnished quizically.

"I'm not flirting, how old are you, right now?" Spider-man asked. Jeez, this is weird, are we dealing with people from different times now too?

Cat sighed. Why did he always have to be so serious... about everything? "If you're not flirting," she said lightly, "Then this conversation has officially stopped being interesting." She grabbed her mug, got up, and walked out of the room to explore the rest of the house. She'd always wanted to look around this place, anyway.

Fine, whatever, as long as she's not being mind controlled by some extra-dimensional evil being. "So, emo kid, what's your story?" Spider-man said, directing his attention to the sullen black-haired youth reclining on the couch.

Reaper let out a long sigh, then turned and gave the spider a fairly annoyed look. "Not from any of these worlds, stuck here because some pain in the a** entity is stalking me. And if Supergirl gets ahold of me, being dissasembled on a molecular level really doesn't sound that bad." he replied.

Ro had remained quiet for a good part of the conversation. She had recognized some people to be clearly from her universe and others, who gave her chills, she had never laid eyes on. She coughed abruptly to clear her throat, thinking how odd it must be for her to stand here like this. So With gentle ease of a thief she slipped by the bickering spider and cat and made her way over to an empty seat.
Was this the living room, where is the television?

Danny had been about to change into Ghost Rider right there, but the sudden crash caught him off guard. It seemed that Black Cat had been right, and the Doctor didn't need any help anyways. He listened to her and Spider-Man go back and forth, and followed her when she left. As amusing as that was, he was a little jealous of Spider-Man at that point. Still, he needed to focus. Black Cat had a demon after her, and if wasn't on top of his game, things could go VERY wrong. Being at the Sanctum was reassuring; it reminded him of the last time the Midnight Sons had come together. Danny almost wished that Blade were here, or Werewolf By Night, or any of the other Sons. Even Johnny Blaze, even though he was no longer Ghost Rider, would be much more reassuring. But they weren't, so he'd have to do the best he could on his own. He caught up to Black Cat, and said, "I take it there's a history with you two?", knowing the answer was a yes. He just wanted a conversation with her at the moment. The logical part of his mind kept saying, 'Why are you doing this? There's no way she'll even give you a thought! You're Ghost Rider!' The emotional part of his mind told the logical part to take a trip off a cliff for a moment, and looked her in the face, searching for even a slight hint of... anything.

Cat glanced at him and rolled her eyes. "I don't know if you could even call it that," she sighed. "He takes his hero thing very seriously, and I... don't," she concluded with a shrug. Noticing a rather interesting jewel on a shelf, she leaned closer. She wasn't stupid enough to touch it, of course, but looking couldn't hurt. After a moment, she looked back at him again and arched an eyebrow, a slight smile playing at the corners of her mouth. "Why?"

"Oh, no reason. Just trying to get a conversation going," Danny said, avoiding eye contact for a brief moment, then collecting himself and matching the look. "It can get a little lonely in here, plus I'm supposed to be protecting you in case that Demon showes its ugly mug again, and if I'm not within earshot, Sanctum or not, you're screwed. You're too... important for me to let that happen." The way he said 'important' ended up sounding more like he wanted to say 'important to me'. He DID want to say it.

"That's sweet," Cat said absently, turning her attention back to the jewel. Wow. She really, really wanted it. It was at least the size of her fist-- perfect clarity, well cut... And it would probably turn her into an anteater, or something. She sighed and took another sip of her tea. "But I don't think he'll be stupid enough to invade the Sanctum Sanctorum; do you?" If he could get in to Strange's stronghold, she kind of doubted that even Ghost Rider would have much to throw at him. Pleasant thought.

Danny, a little disappointed at her offhanded reply, shrugged at her question. "It depends. If he gets desperate, or angry enough, he might. With all the power here, we'll be able to drive him off, but he might grab you in the process. Not gonna happen on my watch."
