((hasnt mathias' platoon already secured the butte prearrival of Alpha team? because im gettin confused, my last post said my group secured the butte, were there other soldiers already holding the butte?))

Rifle fire echoed through his head, his ears starting to ring slightly from all the sniper fire. Looking over at one of the ODST's he said "trade me out your BR55 soldier." The ODST corporal complied and exchanged his BR55 and all his spare clips for his M247 machine gun along with all his ammo. He felt much more comfortable now, the lighter weapon would enable him to move more freely about in the event of an attack and keep things coordinated within his squad.

((You were the drop team sent in as back up for Alpha team also the team Im on, we got to the base with alot of covenant drop ships and troops after us. Right now we are in a big battle as you can see.))


He feel back and went past the Leutenant "Hello sir, Thanks for the backup." He knew the hunter were still out there and he was makeing his way to come up beind them. He slowly made his way dont the back side of the butte and made long circlr and the hunters were almost on the butte at this point, he charged up behind one and jumped on its back and he grabed a frag and droped it in the hunters armor just as the hunter bucked him and he went fly a good 20 feet backtowards to butte and the hunter blew into chunks of hot fleash he smield that eh ahd been so luck the get a granade in like that and ran up the butte just barelying getting behind cover as a fuel rod burnt a hugh black mark where he ahd just been a second before.

Kristi was positioned near the bottem of the butte, unable to climb much she decided to hold there. She stood up and started fighting covanent with her knives and good leg, however, every time she kicked or made a dramatic movement she slowed a bit due to the shock of pain jolting up her leg from her sprain. There were bodied heaped around her creating a fleshy barriar, she used the knives like she was in a dance and smiled behind her visor, stained with her opponents blood, "Hehe I forgot how fun this was!" She swas beginning to get cocky.

Extraction team. This is Alpha team. Landing zone is almost clear, get ready for drop. Alpha team out He closed the transmission and poped up and made his way down the ramp and to a warthog and got in the gunner seat and started to fire at the other hunter..In about ten seconds the hunter was out.He seen a ghost trying to blow up the warthog and he pulled the trigger and the LAAG slowly took down the stupid elite's ghost and the elite's life..He looked around as the last turret stoped and took out the last threat, the others were on a retreat, he turned the COM on and said LZ clear, You can bring her in now. Alpha team ove and out He clicked the COM off and made his way back to the butte.

Roger that, Beta Team. Extraction is on its way.

A Pelican engines could be heard as it lowered to the bridge.

Kristi was starting to have some difficulty. She noticed that the ones around her were becoming higher ranked (ex. gold elites and spec ops), "hey! I need some help down here!" She said as she started to back up the butte.

Mathias had been busy keeping giving orders on fire direction and such. The Covenant had tried to blitz onto their position, but Mathias' drop team was already dug in and waiting by the time alpha team had arrived. He two ODSTs from his drop team, one being a sniper, and the other filling in as a spotter, to keep on recon at the butte's edge to watch the enemies movement. "Yes sir" The two saluted and turned, but he quickly grabbed one of the ODST's arm, Corporal Williamson. "Watch out for covy snipers too, theyll be hanging about as well." The two Hell Jumpers looked at one another, then back at the lieutenant and replied "Roger that, we'll keep in radio contact." Both Corporal Williamson and Biggins jogged off to their spot to set up recon and sniper cover.

Turning and looking back at his rag tag forces, Lieutenant Twombley noticed one soldier helping another up to the top of the butte then heading towards their position. Mathias looked back to one of the other remaining ODSTs and gave the order to lend a hand to move the wounded soldier to rock formation atop the butte that offered limited protection against ground attack. "Alright, I want a casualty and wounded collection area right there! Gather weapons and ammo and take them to the wounded collection area as well!" Mathias ordered, pointing to the rock formation for the others to see. The Covenant would be coming back, in stronger force as well. The possibility of a night attack was flooding his mind since the daylight was beginning to fade. Hopefully, he thought, they could get some sort of reinforcements before nightfall. He looked around "whos my second in command?"
