Hikaru's eyes widened fractionally as he saw the irovy snake appear from her sleeve and then sink it's fangs into his neck. He instantly grabbed where the bite had been. "What....was that..." he said in a bit of pain as his body shook. 'What...is..she thinking...sealing art...curse..' he thought as a million thoughts began to run through this head.

James stood there and looked at Hikaru, she sat on the ground and waiting for him to just accept it "It will only hurt of a moment." She knew that initial shock was painful but he would feel better as it started to wear away.

Hikaru breathed a bit heavily as the shock of what she did set in and the Animal curse seal formed near the bitten area, it was in the shape of a falcon almost and seemed like a tattoo. "Why James-sensei?" he asked as he took a few deep breaths and his body slowly calmed down and accepted the bite. "What did you do to me?" he asked he had a lot of questions and as he calmed down he wanted to know the answers after all he trusted her.

"Do you find me cruel to give you that mark?" She asked right back, this would be the only time she would be this way to him. She slowly got up and looked at him "Why not?" She was cold and just got up, walking away from him...she turned around and looked at him "We have more training to do."

Hikaru tried to get up but felt a shock of pain from the mark that seemed to continue with his anger. "Grrr....but James-sensei!" he yelled at her he felt a bit of anger and betrayal, he had trusted her and he couldn't find a reason for her to give him a curse seal, was she lying to him...was she finally revealing her true colors. He didn't know, and didn't understand but he didn't have much else to do after all she had his only way out of the sage lands so he got up and followed her, his thoughts drifting on whether or not to trust her and why she would do that to him.

James walked to the Temple of Manda and pushed the doors open "This is where we are going to train for now on, Manda lives inside of here but I doubt that he would be so stupid." She walked in leaving the door open for Hikaru "I have a test for you to do before we start." She tossed him a kunai and wait for his response.

Hikaru took the kunai and looked at James his eyes held confusion from both the curse seal and her current actions. "Alright...what is the test?" he asked her as he had calmed himself down by now but was still a bit angry at James.

James did handsigns and snakes formed an exact clone of her "You have to defeat this clone...best 2 out of three." James walked away leaving the clone with a single kunai as well. It started handsigns and held it's hand to it's mouth "Great Breakthrough!" A vicious wind started to blow in a attempt to blow him away .

Hikaru looked at the clone and nodded. "Fine, that should be easy." he stated as the Great Breakthrough launched at him sending him back a bit as he performed several hand seals. "Great Breakthrough!" he said back as he moved his hand to his mouth and launched a vicious wind back at her canceling hers. 'I'll defeat her...I have to.' he thought as he darted at the clone and threw several kunai at her in hopes to distract her, and he soon followed up with a katana in order to cut her down with all his speed and strength.

The clone smiled and made punching motions at the kunai. A force of wind came from each kunai and deflected them, as for the katana it sliced the clones arm. The clone jumped back and snakes emerged from the severed piece connecting it again, James telled in the distance "C'mon! Think!" The Clone started to spin the kunai and slicing winds were launched at Hikaru.

Hikaru quickly brought up his arms as the slicing winds came at him. 'Think?' he thought as his arms got a bit cut up from the winds, then an idea hit him. "This thing can't be destroyed?" he questioned as he jumped behind a pillar to protect himself, the parts of the cut up pillar landing next to him. 'Here we go..' he thought as he performed several hand seals and a poof of smoke floated up the pillar. Hikaru then followed it and jumped through the smoke at the snake clone. "Take this!" he yelled as he performed hand seals and lifted the smaller pillar parts that then launched themselves at the snake clone. Meanwhile, Hikaru launched himself down at the clone to engage it in taijustu. Finally the creation from the smoke, a wind clone popped from behind the clone and quickly brought a kunai up in order to cut her neck off as fast as he could.

The clone sighed and opened it mouth to launch the Kusangi -SKy Blade at him. The snake clone lifted it's arm and split into another clone immeaditely after it was sliced by the wind clone "It's called the Hydra Technique!" but one clone fell leaving a weaker version of it's self behind.

Hikaru narrowly evaded the Sky Blade that had launched at him. "Great..." he said breathing a bit heavy from the use of the chakra. 'My efforts are useless...how am I suppose to beat this thing...' he thought as his clone poofed. "Grrr..." he growled a bit in anger as he pulled back and looked over the hydra technique, although he felt a sudden pain from the mark it was trying to use his anger to exert itself and as such it wore him out in an attempt to make him rely on it, the darker side of the seal finally decided to reveal itself.

James rose from her seat and the snake clone burst...all the snakes retreating back into her sleeve "Now the real test..." She reached her hand and the Sky Blade came directly to her hand, she spun and seven swords came to her...she was in the Seven Sword stance.

Hikaru's eyes widened a bit as he saw her take the seven sword stance. "Fi...FINE!" he yelled as he stood up while holding the curse seal back as best he could as he pulled out three kunai, two in each hand and one in his mouth. 'A direct attack won't work...but if I use much more of my chakra....the...' he paused as he felt a sharp pain from the fresh seal. 'I won't let that happen...I'll prove to her...I don't need it, I won't be corrupted!' he thought as he darted at James his feet shuffling across the ground, however when he got close he quickly jumped as high as he could and spun around in the air launching the three kunai down at James. This was only a distraction, and that would be obvious as he performed several hand seals before he landed. "Great Breakthrough!" he yelled as he brought his hand to his mouth and launched the winds at James in an attempt to harm her with it's immense ability to blow down everything in it's way.
