As the mystery woman left Blax, a swift and silent figure followed her every move, barely making a sound as his shadowy form glided gracefully from the cover of one shadow to the next. The young Nosferatu was intent on following his client to her home; he wanted to see first-hand what kind of person her husband was so he could tell how he ought to approach him. As she entered her home, the Nosferatu slowly snuck up to a window and peered inside, watching out for anything that might give away his presence. As he reached the bedroom window, he saw exactly how brutal the beast of a man was; he mercilessly beat her around until they both lost consciousness. The young vampire left the scene with a bad taste in his mouth; he couldn't stand the sight of such monstrous behavior.

The next day, the Nosferatu made himself scarce until the sun had set, when he dropped out of the shadows and began sniffing about for new information on the streets. As he wandered down unlit streets and narrow alleyways, he learned of a few trivial things going on in the city, as well as some personal gossip he really wished he could ignore. Finally, as night fell, he found himself wandering back into Blax, where he took a seat at a different table and waited for his client to show up.

The young Nosferatu immediately recognized his client as she walked in, even with the extra clothing to hide her bruises. As she approached, he quietly asked, "Were you followed?"

((I know, it's short, but I'm having a slow day today. Things should pick up later.))

Not sure that trusting her word would be entirely healthy to either of them, the Nosferatu quickly scanned the room, checking for anyone that could be watching or listening in. When he was satisfied that they were safe, he returned his attention to his client and said, "I looked into this guy, your husband...He's as much of an animal as you say he is. I doubt he's the kind of person that will back off after a few mild threats...We'll need to deliver a very convincing ultimatum. Before we go any farther, I'm going to tell you one thing: this is going to get worse before it gets better. In the worst case scenario...he may decide to kill you before you become too much trouble. Are you sure you want to go through with this?"

The Nosferatu was unsure if he ought to be glad or unhappy that she was willing to risk her own life for the sake of being rid of her husband; on the one hand, she might never need to fear him again, but if something went wrong, she might just as well be dead. Letting out a sigh, the young vampire said, "Alright, then, here's what we're going to do: you're going to take your man out into the open somehow. I need some way to be able to reach him where he can't contact his ring of cronies, somewhere where I can track you without fear of being ambushed. Once you do that, you're going to give me some kind of sign to let me know that the coast is clear. I'll take it from there, and this scum should be out of your hair by sunset tomorrow. Understand?"

"My brother is being held there. He is somewhat different from me and you. Vampire yes but something else. Something stronger. I'm sure you know all about the Vampire Lord Lagarie who is to be reborn into the body of a full blood vampire correct?

"I wish it were. But no. After watching my brother transform into that beast I know for sure that he is the recarnation of our lord."

I need you to get him for me. Who knows what kind of horrible things they are doing to him.."

"Thanks when can you start?"
