((Unfortunately, I have to go, be on sometime... 18 hours after this post, at the earliest. So, I guess my NPC can be played by SPI if you all get impatient before I return.))
((Three pokemon, right?))
The lights suddenly brightened from their dim, movie theater lighting, engulfing the entire arena floor in a bright glare. This glare was not blinding, but illuminated the field to the entire audience, from the farthest reaches, and allowed the video feed to be the most clarified possible for those farthest audience members (and--hey!--television).
Out of an elevator at one end of the field rose Patrick Nasse, a pudgy kid in a teal T-shirt, red shorts, white tennis shoes, and a navy-blue cap worn backwards. His grin was impeccably confident, and he already had his first Pokemon chosen for the fight, ready to be unleashed.
"I choose you, Gigas!" As the Pokemon appeared out of red, it became clear that this was just a nickname for the Rhydon that now stood, waiting for its opponent. Pokemon number one of three.
The Rhydon did indeed look powerful, but what strength it possessed in raw power, was probably lacking in good strategy. Patrick was a kind of fighter who focused purely on ravaging the opponent. He was not prepared for type disadvantage, or for status effects.
He simply knew he was fighting with the intent to triumph.

Jake finished his breakfast and walked outside his house. In his mind he was already in the pokemon league fighting the champ. It was his blazikan vs. the champs Rychoo. So far it was an even fight when suddenly the champs Rychoo went at his Blazikan with a bolt tackle. Jake had his Blazikan dodged and countered with a blaze kick. And well that's when he returned to reality in front of the proffeser's lab. "Can't wait to get my first pokemon!" He couldn't help but say a little too loud as he ran inside looking for the proffeser.

((Oh, forgot this. Now I'm gone. Byes!))
Toby noticed the show-off and the even bigger show-off of a Pokemon beside it. But he was about to walk into the laboratory when--BANG. This kid (Jake), had walked right into him, knocking Toby out of the way without even realizing it. Toby laughed it off, with a wincing smile, and followed the kid inside, where he sought to retrieve a Pokedex.

Jake couldn't help but laugh as Toby laughed off his fall. "You alright?" He asked as he walked continued looking for the proffeser.

Crystal looked at the open doors and walked out onto the stadium with sparky on her shoulder...
she looked at all the amazing screaming people and waved as she made it to her spot waiting for her oponent,....

Aldrin came in right behind Toby, looking at the other two trainers as he returned his bird pokemon to its ball. Not saying a word, he adjusted his messenger bag and looked for the Professor.
(I'm gonna have to make a Professor...)

Mike's smile grew a little, as the Rhydon appeared. Medicham, too, mirrored the smile. "this should be fun to watch," he repeated. Medicham nodded, eyes still glued to the screen. "chaaam... medi cham." he, Medicham, sort of hoped he'd get to fight against pokemon like that, and Mike also, to some degree, did.

Maria watched as the two first trainers walked out. People all around her cheered as she sat quietly. Eli swished his tail as he saw the Rhydon that was just released. And he saw the girl with the Pikachu. He yelled at it cheering it on. "Raichu!" He wanted this Pikachu to show it's strength and beat the Rhydon.

"alright. Ready?"
Crystal said as she looked at her little pikachu...
"let's show them how a real pokemon battles!"
She said as she held out her arm and Volt ran down it and jumped into the arena oposite the Rydon his body sparking all over...
"alright, let's go! VOLT USE QUICK ATTACK!"
she said as her pikachu dashed at the Rydon...
he ran at it but at the last second sidestepped and appeared behind it...
"Now use Iron tail!"
she said as Vult jumped up his tail glowing as he spun around and hit the rydon...

Lucas crossed her booted feet on the railing, smiling grimly at the Pikachu. "He'll get the job done, won't he, Lu?" she asked Lucario quietly. The blue Pokemon nodded tersly and continued to watch the match closely, apparently absorbed in the details.
Cricket clentched his fists tightly, as Hitmonchan fell and did not get back up. "Hitmonchan .. r-return." he stammered, running a shaky hand through his hair as his opponent smuggly called her Hitmonlee back. "If you don't want to lose more than 20$, then I suggest you get better training." said the girl as she walked away. Cricket just sighed heavily.

Maria grinned as the Pikachu began to attack. It's speed was much to fast for a Rhydon to keep up with. "Good strategy." She was mostly talking to herself but it didn't matter for no one was paying any attention to her. Eli was throwing his first into the air as he cheered on for the Pikachu. "Rai! Raichu!!" Maria grinned, it seemed Eli had a change of mind about the stadium now.

Leon went home and watched the TV he was watching the arena on his TV he smiled at the excitement in the arena and of the pokemon
