Short story contest: Submission three: Rise of Anubis (fiction loosely tied to Ascension of a Judge and more typical of what I normally write).
The haul was good today. Someone had left an entire box of meat patties out to spoil. The smell was excruciatingly tempting, but Anubis held his ground. He kept quiet and watched as another dog went in for the prize. Bang! A door flew open and three humans leapt onto the stray.
This was the way it was around the city. The weak and defenseless were made sport of by the strong. And the sport wasn’t even just limited to dogs. Anubis had seen many a human fall in similar manner. Humans truly were the most despicable of creatures. The stray let out its final yelp.
Satisfied at their deed the humans gathered up the broken animal and tossed it in the dumpster. Then they went about meticulously resetting the playing field. The meat was placed so it was even more apparent and the box was punctured so the smell would drift farther. All this to tempt in more strays so the humans could take turns killing them off.
Senseless killing; that is what Anubis hated more about this city than anything else. The matter would be different if the victors ate the killed, like in the wild. But that was not the way of man. They senselessly consumed and threw away. And the slaughtered were no different. Anubis had seen countless strays of all species tossed away in rivers and holes and garbage boxes. Such was the privilege of the strong.
Something touched Anubis’ back. Instincts dictated a change of direction and a snarl and so it was. Anubis whipped around, bared his teeth and raised his fur. There before him was a human or at least it was more like a human than anything Anubis had ever seen before. There were no distinguishing features as the man-thing was covered completely in rags but it did have a unique smell. It reeked of blood and death. Anubis’ sense of smell was partially overwhelmed.
“Ssssssh.” The man-thing said and Anubis involuntarily found himself complying. It passed him and headed down the alley. Anubis watched, unsure of what to do. The thing passed the door and headed for the box. As expected the humans rushed out. They did no favor for their own kind.
“Get out of here you filthy hobo!” one human screamed brandishing as shiny knife.
“Yeah get lost or else.” Another human who wielded a wooden rod threatened.
The man-thing paid them no mind. It just leaned down to pick up the box.
“Your funeral.” The final human exclaimed as it swung a second wooden rod at the rag clad being. There was a thunk as of wood on stone and the man-thing stopped its motion toward the box.
“What the . . .” The human who had attacked murmured as he stumbled back.
Anubis watched in surprise. The man thing rose up from its crouched position, and continued to rise till it was at least one half a man taller than those in the alleyway. The blade wielding human lunged at the figure before it. In an instant he was gone, swallowed by the rags, not even a scream escaped.
The second human swung his rod toward the top of the creature. It shattered and the creature showed total indifference. Then that human too, was gone. This time he had a chance to scream first. The smell of blood poured through the alleyway and Anubis knew it was fresh.
“Get . . . GET AWAY FROM ME!” the final human exclaimed as he made a mad dash for the door.
It was futile. Anubis watched at the man thing swung its arm out. The rags enveloped the man’s head. There was a scream and a pop and then silence. Slowly the man-thing drug the body over to the dumpster, a fitting end for the humans it laid them to rest beside the corpses of their night’s diversions. Anubis snorted in agreement with the events. Poetic justice was not unfamiliar to animals and was always appreciated when it came.
The creature reached out an arm again and took hold of the box. It had slumped over to its starting size. This put it at the right height to set the box down before Anubis.
“Eat up boy.” It said and began to move on.
Anubis couldn’t resist the meal, even under the circumstances. He quickly began to gorge himself on the rotting meat. It was delicious, the best meal he had had in days. In fact the only meal he had had in days. But something was bothering him.
Shoving what amount of the meat he could into his mouth, Anubis pulled himself away from his meal. He wasn’t sure why but something was drawing him to the man-thing. So he began to follow it, making sure to keep a good distance so as not to be seen. His plan seemed to be working.
The man-thing slowly made its way through the darkened back streets. It did not appear to have any specific agenda, nor did it appear to be wandering aimlessly. Anubis was growing more and more interested in this creature by the minute.
“I figured you could use a drink after such a long walk.” It said motioning to a small fountain beside it.
Anubis ducked behind some brush. He was uncertain whether or not the thing was addressing him. After all, if he were tracking in the wild this thing could never have known it was being followed.
“It’s no use hiding.” The creature turned and faced Anubis. “I know you are thirsty, now come drink.”
The creature crouched down beside the fountain. Anubis slowly advanced. This thing was far less of a man than any human Anubis had met thus far. It was as though it knew and respected the laws of the wild. Anubis felt comfortable enough to drink.
“You harbor a lot of hatred and distrust for mankind don’t you?”
Anubis lifted his head from the water and gave a subtle nod.
“Well I suppose that is to be expected. Mankind is an ignorant and fearful race. They are quick to act, possess a mob mentality, have no concept of balance, and hold nothing sacred. They are less of an animal and more of a disease.”
Anubis gave a second nod.
“Still, for all their faults they can be capable of unlimited compassion. It is for this reason alone they were never wiped off the face of this planet. Unfortunately, as of late, they are losing their standing in the eyes of nature. So a mandate has been issued. ‘All those who were not of man and live eternal shall be woken and set free on mankind to bestow upon him respect for the web of life that supports him.’”
A fire began to burn in the heart of Anubis. He liked the sound of knocking humans down a peg. He would love to be a part of it.
“I figured you would agree. Of course, now you will have to ascend in order to wake.”
Anubis didn’t like the sound of that last part. The man thing reached his hands toward his chest and parted the rags that hung there. Anubis made an attempt to run, but before he had the chance he was enveloped in darkness.
A massive ancestor with a regal figure stood before Anubis. Anubis was humbled in his presence. The ancestor turned his head and an image appeared in the darkness. Anubis watched.
It was a human village. There was a large group of people surrounding a platform. Beneath the platform two humans were arguing. On top of the platform sat the ancestor. He watched the two men with great interest and attention.
Soon the two humans stopped arguing and the ancestor rose from his platform. He walked down the steps toward the two men, and then past them into the crowd. The crowd parted to allow him passage. The ancestor turned toward a young boy. The boy made an attempt to run, but the crowd restrained him. The ancestor motioned toward the two humans who had been arguing before.
The humans stepped forth and began to rifle through the boys clothing. One pulled something out of the boy’s pocket and began a gloating gesture toward the other. The man made a gesture of courtesy and turned toward the boy. The boy began flailing and crying. The crowd held him tight and forcibly raised one of his arms.
The ancestor approached the boy. The child was visibly afraid but the crowd held him tight. It was over quick. One bite and the boy’s hand was gone. The crowd tended to the wound then dispersed.
The image faded and Anubis looked up at the ancestor. He knew the meaning behind this. It wasn’t a display; it was an order. It was a blood born command from ages past. Anubis fell before the ancestor and was devoured.
“That was surprisingly quick.” The man thing said while patting Anubis’ back.
“For what have I been called into this world again? Why has the blood of my kin given rise to my form once more?” Ancestor spoke through Anubis’ mouth.
“The mother has called once more. The judges are to gather and rein. I am the messenger. You are the first ancient to be called. Your response is awaited.” The messenger said as he bowed.
“I have grown happy with the void. I do not wish to return to time. However, a summons is a summons. I revoke my right as judge and pass my station to this host. My child will take my place, teach him and leave me be.” Ancestor growled.
“Accepted.” The messenger pressed his hand against Anubis’ head. Anubis woke. The man thing motioned to the fountain and Anubis looked. There in the water was the ancestor. Wait, no, he wasn’t in the pool, it was a reflection. The thought took a moment to fully sink in. Anubis turned to the man thing.
“Let’s go. We have a long journey, and you have much to learn.”
Anubis followed the man thing into the deep shadows of the city. The realm was new to him, and he marked it as his own.

Short Story; Declan P.S. It's sorta like a prologue. You don't know what happens at the ending! But it seems kinda obvious. The dream came true. Yippie. =P
I never wanted to be in love. Nope. Never. Never ever. But this all could change one day. How do I know this, you ask? I had a dream. Not just any dream, though. It was a thrilling, yet terrifying dream. Every time I think of it, I get butterflies in my stomach; making me reach down to squeeze my stomach tightly, and occasionally, giggle. As for the dream, there was a boy in it. Thick, shiny black hair covered the top of his head. He had enchanting blue eyes; I bet that if he were real I'd stare at them all day. Pale skin covered his bones. As for his body, he had a somewhat muscular figure. To me, he could be the definition of gorgeous. But other than that, there was something about him. Something I couldn't make out. It was.. different. We were in some room. The walls were painted a light shade of brown. The carpet a shade of khaki. There was one queen bed, decorated with a blue and brown polka dot sheet and pillows. And on the dresser, there was a vase of fresh cut red roses. It was my room. And there we were, sitting on my bed by the window. He was reaching out for me. "Rose," he would whisper, his gentle, warm hands rubbing my cheeks. Our faces got closer. Our breathing was getting shorter and raspier by the second. Why was this happening? What were we doing? I shifted my eyes to find a demon creeping from my crammed closet. His appearance was very terrifying. He looked like on e of those demons that you'd find in children's illustrated story books.. His red eyes glared at me, as if he were telling me to go no further, like it was my time to die. I wanted to run. But I couldn't; the boy held me close to his warm, muscular body. He looked down to find me panicking. Curious, he looked around to find the demon, noticing it was creeping closer and closer. His eyes widened. Suddenly he swept me up in his arms. Delicate white wings sprouted from his back. Then, shockingly, we leaped out of my bedroom window. I buried my face in to his chest, trying to hide my face from the supposed falling glass. But what was this? Still holding on to him tightly, I looked up to find that the window was not shattered. I could of sworn that two bodies crashing against a window would be in millions of pieces by now. Plus, we didn't even hit the fresh cut grass below us. But there was something else that surprised me. I tilted my head to look down at the hundreds of feet under me. There was a Californian beach below me; Santa Cruz. The deep blue water crashed against the shore, white foam splashing everywhere. The air was cool. Breezes hit my fair skin, making my silky brunette locks move with the wind. Shaken, I looked up at his perfect face. Slowly, I looked down again. Amazing. ...We were flying. I came to my senses, once again. Where was the demon? Gasping, I looked around trying to find him... or it. Whatever it was. I noticed it was no where to be found, thankfully. It was probably still inside my room or outside, roaming the city streets. Relaxing a bit, I looked back up at his face, trying to memorize his handsome features. Finally I caught myself staring. I looked down, grinning. I heard him chuckle a bit. Leaning in towards me, he whispered, "It's not very polite to stare." A breathtaking smile he flashed was making it hard for me to breathe. I panicked a bit, inhaling rapidly through my nose. Laughing, his lips finally met mine. I could imagine the kiss to be exhilarating.
But this was just a dream. .... Dreams don't come true, right? Wrong.

Poetry:
Dreams of You By: Kingdom Mage (Stephen)
Day and night I dream of you, Whether clothes are red or blue. I may not know were you are, But I know you can't be far.
Oh, how I long to know your name, And if I met you I'd feel the same. I know we are a lot alike, But I wonder what you look like.
I know you're really out there, And I'll find you, somewhere. One day, after we've met, We'll watch the sun set.

Sh.o.r.t. S.t.o.r.y. :: Till Death (Yes, you may be saying, "Wait! Someone wrote this already! Well that someone is me. I just thought I should post it from my main account since I no longer use my other one, I hope that's alright.) Last Known as:: Crazed Misfit
How do I shorten these long important events, in the short amount of time I have left? As I lay here in the rain, holding the women I loved, no, love. Silent tears roll down each of our faces, as we reflect each others pain and happiness, finally together, the Demon and the Angel, a forbidden match in itself. Our tale led to this unholy fate, and it's one I hope is never forgotten.
"This is wrong, we shouldn't even be meeting." Hearing the voice of an angel I had become close to made shivers run down my spine, how much I loved hearing her sensual, low, exotic seeming voice, drew me to her.
"Yet you still came, Alura." With a quick flap of my black wings, I had flew to the top of the tree where she sat, letting the calm wind brush past her pale white face, the low sun making it seem as if she were glowing. My hand reached out to graze the face of beauty itself, and I saw Alura's reaction change. "I see you enjoy my touch?" Or maybe it was due to the fact I had icy cold skin, it contrasted well with my dark blue hair and sea green eyes.
"Demons seem to be true sinners after all." Her long chocolate brown hair swayed in my direction, the smell of roses filled my senses and I closed my eyes savoring the sweet scent. "Tell me, Demetri, what fate do you think will come of this? We are both condemned to an undesirable fate, yet you still seem to push our chances. Why?" Her words were not harsh, nor were they telling me to leave her alone, she seemed to just want to satisfy her longing curiosity. It was my duty to feed it.
"The answer is simple." That it was. Opening my eyes, I gazed into her golden brown ones, taking in her soft features, and her delicate hand which now reached out to touch mine. We both sat in silence, staring at one another, a thousand thoughts shared without a single word spoken.
"Is it now." She averted her gaze to the sunset that seemed to highlight our time together. My heart pounding in my chest, once filled with darkness, now held a little bit of light. We had never exchanged any promises to be together forever, or told the other those three little words some peoples life revolved around. As we watched the sun disappear behind the blanket of scenery before us, our bond felt stronger then ever. ------------------ We never sleep, demons nor Angels, we are forever awakened by the things inside of us. Sleep is unneeded, for we never tire. I reside in the place known as, 'Hell'. Not fiery pits and bones of the dead scattered everywhere. This place is filled with darkness and tunnels, all of which leads to another place. Here, no light can get through. A loud crashing sound like boulders falling from a cliff erupted, and everyone turned their heads towards the sound of the commotion. We were all surprised to see an Angel before us, his long golden hair flowed to his feet, and the white and silver outfit he had on contrasted well with the darkness. His yellow eyes flashed and we all stood up, black feathers fluttered to the ground as one demon after another stretched their wings.
"You have quite the guts, Angel, what's your business here?" Leon, the 'head' as we called him stepped forward, his raven colored hair trailing behind him as he stepped off the ground and went into the air with amazing grace. His cat like eyes studied the angel before him, no one spoke, only the sound of dripping water was heard.
"Well," He finally spoke, his deep bass voice echoed, "tell your demons to keep their claws were they belong. My daughter was seen with one today. If we get wind that one of your kind have been tainting that of a pure angel, we will have his head." Without a second word, he flew into the air back through the broken rocks. Leon glided back to the ground and walked in my direction, stopping when he got to my side.
"There is your warning, Demetri, the rest is up to you." His red eyes looked in my direction, and I looked back, he was not going to try to stop me, that would save me a lot of trouble and energy at least... He walked away from me, and I took off in the same direction as the Angel. I had to see her, I just had to. Once I burst through, flying past the limbo were souls who were neither in hell, nor Heaven stayed, I reached my destination. Blocking my eyes from the light that by reaction, made me hiss.
"So I was right, the demon has appeared." It was the voice of the Angel from before, I looked up, seeing Alura standing in front of him, her eyes wide with fear, and every bit of me froze as I looked into the eyes of my love.
"De-," Before she spoke the Angel behind her shot forward, his hands locking around my neck with such force, if I were human, I would have snapped by now. My mind still flashed with images of Alura, and how hurt she looked, I never dreamed, or imagined rather, that I would see such a pained looked on the face of an Angel such as her. "Get off of him, Father!" Her voice broke my train of that as she screamed, the Angel before me was ripped off like a piece of wax paper and I watched as he was thrown to the ground. "Demetri, run!" How could I run and leave her behind to be punished. Grabbing her hand, I took off, my black wings working harder then they ever had before.
"I'm not leaving you... ever." If there was a death after death, I would surely be there waiting for her. Breaking through to the world of humans, I knew it would buy us time, not much, but still, it would be enough for me to gaze upon her one last time. When we landed, I turned to take both of her hands in mine. Dark clouds above scattered across the sky, the winds picked up, and her tears seemed to make the day feel heavier. With one hand, I placed it on her cheek just as I had before, using my thumb to wipe away her tears. "I thought Angels never cried for a demon."
"You are no Demon. You are my love." For months, the unspoken feelings we had were never once said out loud, but here, now, she said them with such sureness, all I could do was wrap my arms around her and kiss her. In those few moments, it felt as if my whole world was summed up. When we reluctantly pulled away from one another, she looked up and smiled at me, such a loving smile, before it suddenly turned to one of fear.
"Move!" Throwing me out of the way, Alura had no time to save herself as a white arrow pierced her skin. I fell to the ground, my heart stopped, and my eyes widened to the point when I thought they were going to fall out. Dropping to her knees, the pure angels gown was spread out on the ground like a blanket, flowing around her as if she were on display.
"Alura... Alura!" Tears suddenly poured down just as the rain began falling. Like a scene in a tragic novel, but this was real, this was happening to me, and I couldn't rewrite my ending that drew deathly close. My arms cradled her just as she fell forward, she looked up at me when I turned her body. This time, her hand touched my face, reassuring me. "Please... don't leave me." I begged as if I were a child pleading their mother not to leave them alone.
"I'm not leaving you, ever." The same exact words I had said, but they seemed much more sure. As the rain beat down harder, I had forgotten that my attacker was still there, looking up, I saw her father, clearly more shocked then I was that he had caused his own daughters demise. His face turned to anger and he drew another bow. I looked down at her, smiling. She knew what I was going to do, and she did not try to tell me to run. Indeed, she knew me well. I closed my eyes as I felt the piercing bow hit my heart, and I coughed, blood stained my hand, it was finally coming to an end.
"Here we are, the demon and the angel... forbidden." I smiled weakly before she pulled me down into another kiss, our tears mixing together, blending like two completely different colors, to create a greater outcome. As we pulled away, she gather the strength to sit up on her knees and we embraced. Each arrow pushing into either of our bodies, only connecting us more. Pain was not a factor anymore, our fates were sealed. "I love you." It was a mere whisper, my world seemed to be going blurry, and I couldn't focus, coughing again, I watched as it stained the ground before us, and she squeezed me harder.
"You are foolish." Alura's voice held nothing but love in it, I could feel it, every bit of me tingled with the sensation of us being together, even when we were knocking at deaths door, and he was waiting for us to come it. Minutes passed, and I was sure she had gone, "I love you, too." My eyes widened as the tears fell harder in time with the rain, thunder boomed in the background, and I cold see her father turn away from us, as if he did not want to see anymore. I shut everything else out, taking in just her. Her scent, her soft skin, remembering every moment we shared together. "I'll be waiting." With that, I knew she was gone, I continued to hold her as I fell to the ground, her tears still running down her face, but a smile played across her lips and I finally felt at peace.
And as I lay here now, with the women I love. I will go meet her on the other side of what ever awaits us. To spend eternity loving her.

Short Story! This from my account on Deviant Art. heart
SPOILER WARNING, IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN KAKASHI GAIDEN DO NOT READ!
*flashback*
It was a normal fall day as Hatake Kakashi walked down the trail from his training area to his home.
'A normal day' the young prodigy thought, 'Rin persists in obsessing over me, Obito is late, and I'm one step closer to mastering Chidori.' A smirk crept over the masked face of the chuninn (he hasn't been promoted yet.) of the thought of the look on his teamates faces' as he revealed his secret technique to them. The Smirk quickly faded though as the thought coming home to his father sank into his mind. The elder Hatake had been acting rather strange lately, and Kakashi knew why. Yet the prodigy ingnored the truth, and stepped into the threshold of his home.
"Otou-sama, I'm home!" He called.
"Ahh good Kakashi, come here I have something to tell you." The deep voice of his father boomed.
Every muscle tensed in the young nins body. His father rarely called for him, especialy after that last mission. Sakumo only asked for his son when Kakashi was in trouble.
"H-hai Otou-sama, nani doukashita no?" He asked with a quiver in his voice as he entered the sunroom where his father was sitting.
"Iie," Sakumo said, a light chuckle in his voice, "no you're not in trouble." A sigh of relief overcame Kakashi as he heard his fathers' words.
"Think of it as an early bitrhday present. You are old enough to handle it, plus you know how to use it. Happy Birthday my son." The elder nin said with a smile as he handed the gift to his son. Kakashis' eyes lit up with a glint that was like a kid getting $100 to his favorite candy shop for chirstmas. He nearly jumped for joy.
"Ohh but Kakashi," Sakumo said, voice suddenly growing dark,"The White Fang comes with a price." In the blink of an eye Kakashi was up against the wall a kunai at his throat. He looked into his fathers' dark gray-blue stromy eyes.
"Otou-sama..." Kakashi manged to squeak out.
"Kakashi, I do not want you to make the same mistake I did. Finish your mission at all costs; your commrads can take care of themselves." And with that Sakumo made some hand signs, pinning Kakashi to the wall with a genjustu that didn't allow him to move or close his eyes. The older nin took a katana from the wall and pionted it to his heart.
His final words were, "Boku no aishii..." The silver tint of the sword turned red with blood.
"Otou-sama, aishimasu, itsumo, itsumo" Kakashi cried out.
*back to present*
The secene played in Kakashi's mind as he stood over the Konoha Memorial stone reading the four names that meant so much: Yondaime, Rin, Uchiha Obito, and of course Sakumo Hatake.

Short Story~
A blue and green shock of color burst in the air and was followed by many more other fireworks. The light partially illuminated the happy faces of the onlookers. They were celebrating their country's independence. The free people were dancing gaily to the music of several fiddles and a harmonica all playing in perfect harmony to the country's national anthem. Others settled back on the fresh green grass and stared up at the starry sky which was in constant explosion of iridescent lights. But there was a lone figure on a remote hill who stood cloaked and shrouded in mystery as he watched the merriment in a foul mood. Cervix Kopimiun. A nobody. Someone people didn't pay attention to, and he resented them all for it. It wasn't his fault what happened in the past. He couldn't travel through time and fix what they did. He had nothing to do with that and yet he was still caught up in the middle. But they had deserved it. Cervix turned away. Let them celebrate. They wouldn't have much more happiness once his plan was carried out. I'll make them all acknowledge me, and they will no longer be able to deny my existence. I won't let them get away with this any longer. Just a little more time and everything will be ready. A slight twisted smile appeared on his lips. A rare sight for him but he allowed himself the pleasure this once for just a moment. Once he entered the deepest part of the wood it disappeared like it had never existed. Cervix walked up to a large ancient oak tree and placed the inside of his wrist upon a knot on the peeling bark. The tree moved slowly and groaned in protest as it was forced to move. Its roots laced up out of the ground to form a makeshift canopy, under which he strode and then disappeared. As soon as he set foot in his magical home he threw off his enshrouding cloak and set to work on the final touches. He felt someone watching him and he spoke without turning from his work. "Do you need anything," He asked. "Princess?" She was leaning against the far wall and she straightened her position and lifted her head with pride despite the shackles that bound her hands together and was looped into a runner that bound her left ankle as well. "Freedom." She replied dryly. "Now, now, your Majesty, please play along nicely and don't spoil my fun." He chided her. "I don't see as I have any voice in that matter." She responded haughtily. "No, indeed you don't." He muttered, fumbling with a screwdriver. The Princess watched him working for a while but soon got bored. "I can't believe this. You treasonous vulture. You will pay!" she said disdainfully. Cervix snapped. He whirled around and glared at her. "Fool, don't you think I've suffered enough?" He shouted. "You have no idea what I've been through. You'll never know, not by sitting on your high throne!" Spittle flew from his mouth in his rage. He quickly calmed down and wiped his mouth, turning away from the princess and back upon his project. "Tomorrow- tomorrow will be the day that they all look at me with the fear i deserve and finally acknowledge me." He said. "My people are not so easily enslaved in servitude." The princess informed her captor. "Their eyes are still bright with victory of independence and that gleam is not easily extinguished." Cervix laughed hoarsely. "They are fools as well, but don't worry. They will come to fear me. Their swords will break like twigs with this." he stood back to admire his work. In front of him was a small contraption of awkward shape. The princess leaned forward. "What is that? It is small and looks not mighty in the slightest." She scoffed. "Small it might be, but powerful it certainly is." Cervix replied. He picked up the small device. It fit nicely into his hand and the Princess saw how it was meant to be held, dispersing a bit of the awkwardness of the thing. "Should i demonstrate for you?" he asked, a malign grin on his face. The princess didn't even have time to shake her head before he blew a hole in the wall. The princess fell back and covered her face from the shrapnel and dust that filled the room. Once the dust had settled she stared at Cervix, wide eyed. "What is that thing?" She asked horrified. "I call it a gun." He said. "What do you think?" "You can't use that on the villagers!" She shrieked. "I can, and I will. Now you know the punishment for ignorance." He said as he walked past her.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - "Fire and Ash have beaten Nature out of her home, and Despair has replaced all Hope. You now have no one to turn to." Cervix said blithely. The villagers shook in fear at his feet. "What say you now?" He demanded fiercely. The women hid their children in their skirts to hide their innocent eyes from the bleak and ghastly scene, bloodied from dead men who's Life rivers now ran free. One man stood forward bravely. "On behalf of all the villagers, I apologize-" his words were cut short along with his life as a bullet entered his skull. Shrills shrieks of dismay and fear sounded throughout the valley. "Silence!" Cervix screamed at all of them. Silence fell as swift as a scythe to wheat. Even the children did not whimper. I've done it. They are now subject to me in their fear. He thought. "I don't want your pity, or your gifts-" Cervix stopped short. A lump had formed in his throat and he felt the threat of tears. What did he want? Was this really all he wanted? And what was to happen after this? After everyone acknowledged him what did he want after that? The villagers watched this internal struggle within him in complete silence. They dared not to speak for fear of his weapon. A little boy crept up to his captor and tugged Cervix sleeve bravely. The other villagers took in a gasp of breath in unison, all horrified at what they were sure would happen next. "Sir, what's the matter?" the young boy asked sincerely. Cervix was taken back in time to a distantly similar situation where he had asked his father the same question. His heart softened and he bent to pick the child up but instead toppled over, nearly pinning the young one under his bigger body. He lay in the bloodied mud, in a daze, shocked at what had happened. An arrow protruded from his back and pierced his heart. His hand fell limp from its grip on the gun and he looked into the eyes of the scared little boy and whispered before breathing his last. "I'm sorry."

poem No one knows No one knows how I feel. So are my feelings really real? No one knows whats down inside. Do I really have something to hide? No one knows my life of pain. Is it possible that I'm really insane? No one knows why I hate to cry. Could it be because I want to die? No one knows my life of sorrow. Do I really want to live till tomorrow? No one knows what Ive been through. Could someone have been through it to? No one knows what Ive done wrong. Is it a secret that Ive kept for too long? No one knows why I'm here. Could they also live a life of fear? No one knows my darkest secret. But is there really any reason to keep it? No one knows much of anything. So should their hatred really sting? No one knows the real me. Is that the way its suppose to be? No one knows me at all. Why wont they answer when I call? No one knows why I feel so alone. Will there ever be a place that I can call home? No one knows just how I live. Do I really have something to give? No, no one knows how I really feel. So are my feelings really real? This was written when I was a teen

Poem heart Like a rosebush heart
Our relationship is like a rosebush. It to will blossom & bloom. Growing into something beautiful for all the world to see. With a rosebush people like to pick the rose and brake off all of the thorns. We too would like to take away all the pain. But like a rosebush with its thorns. You cant have a real relationship without both the good and the bad. If you pick just the rose in a few weeks it will die. But a rosebush with all of its thorns will live forever. I wrote this over 15 years ago but still believe it to be true 4laugh

Hope you like it. It's called, "The other fin of H20, not copying H20 just add water.
the chosen ones were being chosen, they were just being born. There names were Andee Annabelle Clarson, Anastasia Ava Jajigal, and Danielle Nattilie Valabrese. They grew up to be best friends. But they were best friends fo two reasons and two reasons only. To save our planet and the have someone there when you need them. But, the book is not only about the tree girls. It's also about their ' try to be' gurdians. Their names were Andre Macho and Kyle Ussy. They were boyfirnds of Anastasia and Kyle. But, you will find out what relationships really means in this book. Is it because they are rich? (Kyles question to Danielle) Is it because the are beatuiful? (Andres question to Anastasia) Or is it because you love them? (This would be Andee's, but she doesn't have a boyfriend in this book.) One more thing before you read, this is not H20! it's just their powers! And, They go by Ava, Nattilie, and Annabelle. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "So ask yourself, do you like pie? The end!" Anastasia said, as the girls were walking home from school to Andee's house. "That was amazing! Anastasia, thats a reason why the teacher gave you an A!" Andee cheered. "Excuse me, Ava, why did you do your food report on something so fatty?" Danielle asked. Andee looked at Danielle. "Uh, Nattilie? I DID mine on cake! There is no rule against it! But, I'm not going to read it..." she replied.yddenly, Three Ninja's fell out of the sky." We would like your food!" They said. The girls giggled. The giggled because they never heard someone so fat talk in a high voice. "We dont have any food." The girls said. They finally approched Andee's house. (Just for the record, the live in Miami Florida.)"So, who's ready to start the homework?" Anastasia asked. "Uh, not me. I never do homework. I hope you know that." replied Danielle. The girls sat on the kitchen table bench. "Anyone want some ice cream in oreo form?" asked Andee. The other girls nodded their heads yes, and Andee went to get the ice cream. But, the frezer as broken. "Hmm, I'll fix that!" ANdee thought. She put out her hand. She curled it up, and then, it was working again. She grabbed the oreo ice cream. (Just for the record, Ava has shaping, Nattile has heating, and Annabelle has freezing.) ~~~~~~~~~ As the girls were eating their ice cream, they heard Andee's sister, Mylssa screamed. Danielle and Andee ran to the kitchen. "The freezer is to cold!' she shouted. Danielle smiled. "I'll fix that!" she said. She did the same thing that Andee did, but the freezer went back to normal tempature. "What are you?!?!?!" Mylssa screamed. Anastasia walked up to the girls. " A person, and you?" she asked. Mylssa ran off screaming in tears. Suddenly, the doorbell rang. It was Mrs. Ylove. "Andee, may I please speak you you for a minute?" asked Mrs. Ylove. ANdee nodded yes, and went outside with her. "Here are your friends powers. They may come in handy." she smiled, knowing that they would not work. Andee freaked out. Who would give her new powers? She ran inside to tell the girls all about what happened. "Maybe, we should spy on her to see what she is up to?" Danielle said, happily. Danielle loved to spy. In her room, she knew what everyone in her school was doing. " Well, I would while Ava is on her date with Andre, because she would never say yes. But I have to work at Bay n' Surf!" replied Andee. Danielle gave Andee a walky-talky so Andee could serve Anastasia and Andre while Danielle spyed on Mrs. Ylove. Andee went to Bay n' Surf, the place were she worked at. She looked around to find Anastasia and Andre, but it was not what she thought it would be. Anastasia was alone, crying solfy. "What's wrong?" Andee asked? Anastaisia replied, "She did not show up." Andee buzzed Danielle intoher walky talky. "I know what you're buzzing me for, Andee. Andre did not show up on his date." Danielle said.
~~~~~~~~~~~ "How'd ya guess?" Andee asked. She replied, "Andre and Kyle are tied up with Mrs Ylove, and she is asking them to capture us!" "And they're-" Andee was inturupted. "Hi, welcoem to Bay n' Surf! Can I start you off with a drink?" A waitress asked Andee and Anastasia. They replied no thanks, we're busy. Andee and Anastasia ran off to find Danielle. They got into Andee's car, and andee put on the traacking divice that tracked down Mrs. Ylove's house. Andee parked on a cruise way lane, where Mrs. Ylove was though the glass hole. The girls ran up to Danielle, who was hiding at the dock. "Look!" Anastasia pointed. "Hey, Andre, you're now single because you're dumpted!" ANdre looked through the hole. "Attention, all passangers on the ship in ten minuttes!" The ship manager said. "That's it, I'm in!" ANdre and kyle said. "Get'um!" "Great job Anastasia, now we have to run from fat fast ninjias!" Andee said to Anastasia. Danielle screamed. "I have a plan!" Anastasia said. "I make it rain, and then, and makes it hail! But so the hail doesn't touch us, Danielle will make it rain on us! Ready, set go!" Anastasia curled her hand to the sky. It started to rain! Then Andee did the same. It staarted to hail! Now, it was Danielle's turn. She did the same. Then, Danielles worst Nightmare happened. She fell over and her whole face was covered in mud! Next, a ninjia grabbed her and put her in a barrell. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Where did Danielle go?" Asked Andee to Anastasia, who was far behind her. Suddenly, she heard Andre laugh because he was trying to shove Anastasia with Danielle into the barrell.As they were screaming help, Andee turned around and ran to the ninjia. "Leave my friends alone!" Andee shouted. She held up her hand to Andres chest and he foze to an ice cube. "Meep." he said. Suddenly, Andee was takeled and was shoved into the barrel wit the other girls. "Ooff. Were are we, Anastasia. Danielle replied "In the middle of a baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa-" she was interupted. 'barrell, Barrell Danielle." Andee said. " But I feel sea sick. Are we on the boat? Yes, the were on the boat. They pushed the barrell top and took it off and got out. "I can't live here! I have a manicure in 2 hours!" Danielle worried. They tryed to open the door. It was looked! "Great, now we cant get out nowmatter what!" ANdee said. "BRING IT IN!" A voice said. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The girls heard a beeping sound like the noise of a truck moving backwards. "Perfect spot! I'll go get them, and kill them first." The voice said again. "Boy, would I hate to be them! Uh.. who's them?" Anastasia said. 'I think them is us?" Danielle said nevusly. The door opened. It's us! The girls said. The girls ran around the room. Then they saw Andre and Kyle. "Wait a minute. You're agienst us?" Danielle and Anastasia asked. "Yeah baby!" Andre said. But Kyles answer was alot different. "I did not want to do it." he said. "JUST go away!" Danielle said. The boys walked away. "What do you want from us?" Andee asked. Mrs Ylove replied, " Well, no reason, it's just you guys are the only ones who can stop me. When I release my energey sucker it will take away all the wrolds energery exept for this cruise ship. but your room will be sucked! Ninjia 1 and trainy, take them downstairs." Ninjia 1 took Anastasia and Andee and the trainy took Danielle. "Owww! Do you mind about a girls beauty sleep?" Danielle said to the ninjia. "Ok people. Think, think hard." ANastasia said.
~~~~~~~~~~ anastaisa abd Andee were thinking with everything because their life did depend on it. "Danielle, what are you doing?" Anastasia asked? "I'm spying on Mrs Ylove. It may look like I'm pressing my head with the door, but I'm really ahev a spy gear on my eyes. Andee went over to Danielle. "What are you whooaaaaaaaaa! Danielle, you fond the key to the window and the closet! Lets open the closet." Andee said. The girls opened the closet. "Hippie coustumes!" the girls said. Their girls got on their coustumes. "Now, lets open the window." Danielle said. The girls opend the window. "Ava, shape the water so it's smooth. I'll freeze it so we can get out!" he girls did their magic. Then, they ice skated to the dock of the ship. Kids and many other people were playing in the pools and slides. But the worst part, there was ninjias all over the place. "Luckly, they were wearing costumes!" Danielle said. " Ava, go find Mrs. Ylove. When you find her, buzz me. Annabelle and I will get rid of the ninjias." Danielle gave the girls walky talkys. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ As Danielle and Andee were using their powers on the ninjias, Anastasia was looking for Mrs. Ylove. 2 floors down she looked for a spot to park her ray."Stop!" Anastasia whispered to her walkytalky. "Right on!" The girls said loudly into their walky talky. "Who's there?" Mrs. Ylove said. The 2 other girls came with stain glass."We found these andwe thought we could put powers in here and they would double." Andee said. 'Ninjia's, get'um!" Mrs. Ylove said. "STOP!!" Andre said. "I am not a ninjia and why do i need to wear these clothes?" Then Andee said, "Quick Danielle,activeate your fire power!" Danielle activated her glass and fire bursted on all the ninjias. But, they did burst on Andre and Kyle, but they did not die. "Anastasia, PLEASE don't kill us!" Anastasia aggreed. Then Andee said, Ava, activeate your power to weaken Mrs Ylove, I'll freeze her." "Danielle!" said Mrs. Ylove. She activated her ray on Danielle. She fell down. "Now." whispered Andee. Anastasia Activated her wind power quickly, and Andee did her ice. Kyle and Andre got up. "Dnaielle!" they said. "Let me give her the kiss of life!" Kyle said. The other three replied, "say what?" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Thanks for not killing us." Andre said. "Well, we dont think we'll have another boyfriend again. Anastasia said. "Danielle is getting a manicure... oh well... Nattilie! Common! Lets leave!" Danielle got up. Then, Kyle asked, "How do we get outa here?" Andee smiled. "How long can you dudes ice skate? Everyone, get on skates and then join hands, Ava and I must be on the ends. Ready? ONE,TWO< THREE< JUMP!" she saidThey ice skated back to East Northumberland High. As the teacher was teaching,the girls pulled out a compisision book, looked at each other, and started to draw a picture of theirself as faries. Their wings and stuff were their favorite colors. After school, the three girls and two boys went to a party. 'Fly on the Wall' by Miley Cyrus came on and Firewroks went off. Then Andre asked Anastasia," Do you want to dance?" "Will it make you leave me alone??" she replied." Oh, I'm a little emberrassed..." Andee said. Anastasia replied, "Here is my answer, look up." Andee and Danielle looked up with big boogly eyes and the fireworks said, "I would love to."

Poem Entry 2:
China Rose
Her porcelain petals of skin, So delicate, Gently sway in harmony with her movements, Her stem of which is her heart, Grants life to her eyes, Her leaves of hands, Warms one's soul to the touch, She dances so graceful as the wind carries her, Bringing smiles of sun rays upon her cheeks, Her flourescent color lights the sky, To break us of our sorrows, And what may we call this breathtaking flower, But none other than China Rose.

Poetry Entry #1[it's a freeverse poem, sorry. >.< ]:
Dreams
The air is cool, The earth is calm. everyone has retreated From the difficulty of life, All the pain, suffering, and hurt Of the world. They are safe Within their homes. No evil can reach them As they sleep quietly in their beds, Dreaming of a better day. Nothing can disturb them As they drift out Of their own bodies Into the world of Angels, where no person will be cursed by evil, Harmed by death, Or scarred by dishonesty. All will be right In your dreams.

S H O R T // S T O R Y # 2
{This is an excerpt from a story I am currently writing.}
Consumed
Her fingers gently caressed the shimmering gold of the compass as it hung around her neck. She stood perfectly still on the front of her ship as they sailed calmly through the night. The wind tangled her hair around her face, but her indigo eyes never once left the intricate designs inscribed on the compass.
It was daybreak when Erik finally appeared from the captains quarters. He had fallen asleep waiting for Madelynne to finally come inside and when he stepped out into the rising sun he saw her still standing on the bow of the ship. He smiled at how peaceful she seemed to be, just standing there as the wind took her hair and made it dance around her. He couldn't resist and in a few large strides her was behind her. He stood at least six inches above her and he just waited motionless for a few moments before he let his hands slip around her waist. He lowered his head to rest on her shoulder and he let his lips gently touch the side of her neck. Madelynne shivered slightly and she finally moved stepping forward a bit to get away from him. Erik was suddenly taken aback as his arms were pulled from her waist. He stood there just staring after her as he watched her hands lovingly caress the compass.
Erik sighed as he shut his eyes. He head leaned back slightly as the wind caressed his face and he imagined that it was his lovers hands. He then opened his eyes and forced them to look at the compass. The inanimate object was not worthy of her loving touch and he wanted to rip it from her hands and toss it in to the ocean, but both of their lives depended on the directions that the compass would give to them. Erik feared that his heart would not last long enough.
"Madelynne..."
He gently whispered her name as he took a cautious step towards his love. She remained motionless and her mouth didn't make a sound.
"Madelynne..."
Again she didn't say or do anything.
"Madelynne! Dammit listen to me!" Erik shouted as he grabbed her by the shoulders and spun her around to face him.
Her eyes widened slightly as the compass dropped from her hands down to hang once more around her neck. Erik looked down in to her indigo colored eyes. The deep pools looked up at him with lifeless and empty stare.
"Madelynne. Please. Let me take the compass from you. It's driving you insane." Erik begged as his grip on her shoulders lessened to a gentle caress. He looked down at her with all the love in his heart attempting to break the spell that the compass had cast over her.
Madelynne's mouth opened almost as if she was going to agree, but she shut it and shook her head, pulling away from his grasp again. "I need to keep it." She said simply as she stood there looking at him, her blank eyes staring back up in to his.
Erik looked into her eyes for something, anything, but they were empty. The cold hard gaze he received from his love was almost enough to shatter his heart. He swallowed, hard, as he took a step back and straightened his shoulders. He held his head high as he turned from Madelynne to walk to the back of the ship. He could feel the gaze of the crew members on his back as he walked away, but he would not lower his head. Not even to shelter the tears that slowly slid down his face.
Madelynne watched him leave before she turned around to face the horizon again.
"Land ho!" One of the crew members shouted, and sure enough there was a growing sliver of land in the distance.
Erik turned once he got halfway across the deck to look back at Madelynne. He stood there, frozen in the middle of the deck, as he watched her watch the sea.
