*Fair enough.* Katsuko grabbed the fork and wrenched it from the table. she wiped it off, making sure that there were no splinters of the table on it and then started eating the meat.

Katsuko didn't say anything. *this is different. no music, no courses or anything like that. i think i kinda like it.*

Garret ate the last of his steak and got up and walked to the kitchen. When he got there he set his plate down on the counter.

Katsuko finished her food and stood up. she followed Garrett into the kitchen with her plate. she looked around the kitchen, she'd never been in one before. "Where do you want this?" she asked.

"Just leave it on the counter." he said as he walked out of the kitchen and walked to his living room.

Katsuko put it on the counter ontop of Garrett's plate and continued to stare at everything. she spotted a sudsy sponge on the rim of the sink and picked it up. she brought the plates over and scrubbed them. *oohh.... the food comes right off!* she mused. she turned on the faucet and rinsed the plates and forks off then looked around for something to either put the wet dishes on or to dry them off. *What now?*

Garret sat down on his sofa and stared at the wall. *i wonder if i can get a window in an underground home?* he thought.

Katsuko finally found a dishrag and dried the dishes off. she poked her head out of the kitchen, "Where do you put clean dishes?" she asked.

Katsuko cringed and hid in the kitchen. *I wonder what's wrong.* she put them on the counter, then took a deep breath and walked back into the living room. she was unsure about what she should do so she started looking at his treasures absentmindedly. *I wish i had a book.*
