Hikaru just barely managed to dodge the kids attacks. his blade had just barely skimmed the side of Hikaru's head. This kid is pretty fast Hikaru thought to himself as he closed in for an attack. Hikaru brought his kitana up above his head and pushed off with his back foot and at the same time he brought his kitana down and slashed at the kids left shoulder. the small circle they were fighting in began to vibrate when the two's blades met. Hikaru pushed the kid away with his blade and went for a thrust to his mid section. but just as fast as Hikaru pushed his blade forward it was countered by his opponent. Hikaru had found himself in a bad position he made a risky move and it didn't pay off but Hikaru was not a swordsman he was a ninja and it was about time he began moving like a ninja. Hikaru spun of his back foot and did a back flip putting himself back in front of his opponent. the two began circling each other. Hikaru watched his opponents movements carefully and intently. Hikaru saw his opponents feet change to a striking pose and he knew this was his cue to set up a defense. Hikaru raised his blade and shifted his weight to his legs to prepare for impact as his opponent charged at him.

The boy smiled sadistically as he cut into Hikaru's hip. The first drop of blood had been spilt, but would Hikaru be able to make a difference?

Hikaru easily dodged the kids attack with no effort ignoring everything going on outside the arena he thought something entered the ring but once he looked it was gone. "your getting slower." Hikaru mocked as he quickly slashed the kids side. Blood started to pour from the kids wound as Hikaru began to slip into a trance as every cell in his body began to vibrate intensely. "More...I want more." Hikaru said as he began to feel a rush he had never felt before. "If you dont move quicker I will have to end your life." Hikaru said as he flicked the blood from his blade with one fluid movement of his wrist. Hikaru then stood with his blade in one hand and his other hand at his side. Hikaru looked at his opponent who was now hardly standing. "Pitiful." Hikaru said as he charged at his opponent and slashed his chest to give him a cut to match the previous one. "My blade is thirsty for your blood. it cries out to me telling me to end your life." Hikaru said as blood poured out from the kids body. it was beginning to seem like there were two entities inside of him. this one was darker and had an evil aura about it. the voice alone was enough to strike fear into the hearts of even the bravest warriors.

Lokail was correct, the phrasing of her thoughts did seem a tad harsh on those who are empty for other reasons. The small girl approached the tree as she she thought of how to answer. Lokail sensei seems to be getting frustrated with me.. Mika focused on her breathing as she pondered on what to say. Her breath coming in and out of her lungs where to become the same as her chakras flow in her body. "You're right Lokail, that was rude. I should not assume that other's feel the way I do. Though I was expressing my thoughts on your question. But, for me, that is no way to live. I would feel horrible about myself for killing an innocent. But you ask what justifies my murdering over another? Really, I would kill for a select number of reasons." As Mika spoke, her grasp on chakra fell. The power she just had in her torso was slipping back. "One would be to protect Sunagakure. Another would be on a mission, especially someone who deserved it. And, to protect myself. There is a thick line between murder and self defense. Defending yourself is not murder. Should your opponent attack you, and there seems to be no way to stop them but taking their life, I believe that is necissary." By the end of her explanation, all of the chakra she had controlled had faded.
