Meluk Sorah

The young Raven was angered with Powchii's response to the Espada. Meluk turned his head to Powchii. He felt as id he has been letting Powchii to easy. It is not like Ky would let him off with such a warning. As a Raven, Meluk is Ky's representative and speaks for Ky so Powchii needs to follow his direction.

Powchii was claiming he was not weak, but, he is not stronger than Meluk. Meluk turned his direction back to Jes.

"We will leave. To be truthful we would not be here if it wasn't for him (Powchii). Sorry for intruding," Meluk explained to Jes with deep a tone, "We were only looking for Ky,"

He soon turned his attention back to Powchii and gave him an angry stare.

"You are nothing to me but a delivery nothing else. Once I we get to Ky I'm going to kill you on the spot," Meluk threatened him in a serious tone, "Never under estimate me. I have power you have never seen if your little life span,"

Meluk walked to gate and looked back at Powchii and gripped his blade tightly. One thing Meluk doesn't like is being dishonored by someone that he is leading. In Ky's little politic he says 'Do what ever is right to you long as you are never getting in my way.' Meluk is violating what Ky has told he is taking him and then killing him.

He will be lucky if Ky interrupts and he has never interrupted him in a fight.

"Lets go Nirro," Meluk asked politely.

He walked to the gates.

Powchii laughed walked towards Meluk, "Child in the four hundred years I've lived I've seen powers far greater than yours," with that he patted him on the shoulder and walked out the door.

"A challenge~" Genma shouted with laughter, it was now apparent she was the more childish of the two dolls.

Powchii paused when he heard Meluk threaten him, "Mmkay~" he said in way to show he didn't care about his threat.

Raijin strode back in the eternal darkness that was Jes's court. "Go back to sleep" He said as the creatures within it stirred. He hated how they were so lazy, they were supposed to be on guard and were sleeping any skill shinigami would be able to kill them before they could awake. It disgusted him to see how shadow drunk they were. Sure it calmed people down but it also made them lethargic and stupid. It was a great weakness but it was also a great asset, a double edged sword he supposed.

He let out a sigh walking over to the small room in the back. He sat down on the couch and let out another sigh as he did. "I suppose it's getting a bit boring here, though when new leaders come to power there is always a lull isn't there?" He muttered to himself. Hagane wasn't one to think while not in the presence of someone who he was scared which was few people so he usually seemed like a bit of a loon to those who didn't know him well.

[Hagane or Raijin?]

Jes emerged from a darkened corridor that opened up into the main hall. Her throned dais dominated one end of the room, her shadows roiling in a formless mass amid the arches of the distant ceiling. She sighed contentedly, feeling the connections between herself and the arrancar who had been using recently. Under her influence, the shadows relaxed them, numbing their minds until they needn't remember who or what they were.

Since Jes had come here, she'd found her abilities particularly desirable to most arrancar. That, in turn, made them easily exploitable. All the had to do was give away their troubles and Jes consumed them voraciously, power growing exponentially in a short time. By the time any rival arrancar had unraveled the mechanics of her power, she was, for all intents and purposes, too powerful to touch.

One arrancar who constantly refused her shadows was Raijin, and, truthfully, Jes was grateful for it. His opinions, however different they were from hers, could always be counted upon to be genuine. She valued his honesty with her even if she didn't always show it.

As she saw him now, she could taste both his frustration and boredom. Jes had never fed on Raijin-- it seemed to be an unspoken rule between them-- and still he remained unfailingly loyal.

"You don't like that I indulge them so," She hazarded a guess as she leaned lightly on the back of the couch.

(Hagane would make it easier wouldn't it?)

Hagane looked up seeing Jes, "Oh no I do not mind. I just find your shadows not of my taste" He said looking at her with a smile. "I prefer the real thing instead of an illusion" He said alluding that he would rather just be with her instead of being under the influence of her shadows. His different colored eyes looked at her crimson ones, so few arrancars portrayed the natural predatory look anymore. They truly were two of a kind. Hagane was proud of this, their look showed an intent that few others had making them a rare breed.

"So are pleased with Sara?" He asked changing the subject. Hagane was her loyal servant and never liked talking about the things they weren't exactly on the same page about. His tone was light and soft almost as if he was whispering. It was probably because Hagane never really was one to shout, that and he was abnormally relaxed when it was just him it Jes. They were rarely alone together so this side of him wasn't something seen to often. His guard was actually down showing that he trusted he more than he did no other

"I'm pleased with the way you've trained her," Jes clarified, though, as always, her voice had no inflection. She sighed, recalling the latest episode with Sara. The latest leader of Las Noches, the vaizard Feiy Boelba, had died recently. Somehow, Sara's soul sensed her plight and all but flew to her side. Only, of course, for Feiy to die in Sara's arms. Summarily, it was a mess. Sara recalled-- or perhaps felt-- enough to realize that she had lost her love (maybe her soulmate, Jes wasn't sure about the mechanics of the relationship). And she'd lost it pretty spectacularly, giving herself entirely to mourning and pain. The only way Jes knew to calm her down was to deprive her of these emotions as well as all the memories that had elicited them.

"I--" Jes paused for only a second, hesitant to let Hagane know of this. "I took some of her memories away. They were preventing her from-- from functioning properly," They were hurting her, Hagane. Was I right? Jes didn't know how to ask, or perhaps was afraid of Hagane's answer. She only truly trusted his opinion, though she rarely, if ever asked for it.

She studied the shards of obsidian embedded in the dark floor at her feet with feigned interest, as though what she was speaking of didn't bother her in the slightest.

"It is fine." He said laying on the couch. Hagane rested his head on Jes's lap, an abnormally bold move for him. Though his guard was still down he was to deep in thought to think of the consequences, his guard was down so if she felt the need to kill him she could simple as that. "You are the matriarch of this court. Making everyone in it your child, metaphorically speaking. You being entitled to this are allowed to remove things to keep pain from stabbing forth" He said looking up at her. He still resisted his shadow but did allow it to linger around him but not enter him.

"I just hope you do not regret your decision. Regret is something that leads to a lack of confidence and as the primera you must be decisive and confident, else you may be looked upon as weak" He said his eyes now staring up at the endless darkness. What he had said could cause an endless combinations of responses. It was something he was curious about wanting to know what she would say.

"Then I did what I had to," Jes connected his words. She didn't seem to notice his head in her lap and even played idly with a strand of his hair. Her head was resting on the palm of her free hand, arm propped against the arm of the couch. "She was breaking, so I took everything from her,"

I kissed her, too, she thought, still staring off. Once when I was transferring power, but once because I wanted to. What does that mean? She combed long, pale fingers through his hair. And she responded with passion. Was it a by-product of hollowing her out as I had done?

"I don't regret it," She said, half in response to Hagane's words and also partly in response to her private thoughts. "I do as I please. If it makes the Court strong, it's in my interest,"

"Good" He said looking up at her. "What troubles you? He asked looking up. His presquisa allowed him to sense a turmoil in her emotions meaning something was causing her to think considerably hard about some topic. He didn't mind if she gave him no answer she often didn't, though he felt a need to ask just in case there was the small singular chance she would give him an answer. His eyes looked up staring intently at hers, he could not help but be mesmerized by them. He couldn't figure out what it was but her eyes just sucked him in and caused him to blatantly stare at her for a few minutes potentially creating an awkward moment.

Hagane let out a quiet sigh enjoying her touch. It was ironic that he was her closest fraccion yet he was probably the one she neglected most love wise. So every time attention was received he savored the moment enjoying every second. He had guessed this was because he resisted her alcoholic like shadows, so he couldn't blame her for forgetting about him every once in a while. He didn't mind he mainly watched over her keeping her composure and making sure she was seen as the perfect arrancar in every aspect of the way.

[Sorry to be nit-picky ><' She'd just be mortified if Hagane knew XD]

"Nothing," Jes lied with the ghost of a devil-may-care smirk. Her tone could almost be classified as sarcastic. "What should bother me, the Primera Espada? I spirit your worries away, hollow you out, give you your dreams and your ecstasies, your pleasures and debaucheries. What could possibly hurt me when I take these hurts away?"

She looked down at him, weaving her fingers more tightly into his hair.

"And only you resist me, Hagane," She said, thoughtful now. Unconsciously her shadows were coalescing around the pair of them. Beads of inky darkness dropped from her lips as she spoke. "Only you deny the pleasure I can give you,"

And I don't know whether to love you or hate you for it..

"That is where you are wrong" He said looking at her. "I deny the temptation you send, I would embrace your love" He said making sure to use the word love meaning he would embrace the real her, instead of embracing the shadow that would corrupt and dull his senses. He wondered how she would react to that, it was after all both a serious and playful statement which isn't usually something that occurs between the two. He curiously looked at her, well aware of the darkness that was now securely forming around them. He contemplated it's purpose but was more enthralled in her answer.

"You may be able to spirit our worry away but can you spirit your own?" He asked, knowing the answer already but he thought he should help her acknowledge it. A mischievous smirk formed on his face almost as if he was mocking her a bit, though he was quite sure to not over do it as the last thing he wanted to do was get her angry and have her potentially rip of his scalp.

"I don't love," Jes said, pulling his Hagane's hair so that his head tilted back. She kissed him just like that, leaning down and pressing her lips against his. She did not, however, attempt to infuse any shadows into the kiss. It would have been an insult to his loyalty, and she knew that. The same desires she'd felt when kissing Sara welled up again, familiar now, but no less surprising.

She leaned back, licking her lips and catching darkness on her tongue. She looked troubled. Or rather, she looked as troubled as the she would ever appear. There was only a slight knit to her eyebrows and the barest hint of divot of worry on her forehead. Her eyes were impassive.

"It's the same," She said aloud, comparing her experiences. Did this mean she was fickle? Could she feel desire for more than one person? It wasn't entirely surprising, she supposed. Of all she'd seen of human fantasies... Well, to put it bluntly, threesomes weren't exactly rare. Nor were bisexual desires. What was more troubling was that she, herself, was experiencing these emotions when she shouldn't really be feeling at all.

Hagane smiled when he heard her say I don't love. Once she tugged his hair causing him to tilt back his eyes widened a bit realizing what she was about to do. Time suddenly came to a slow as a rush of adrenaline surged throughout his body, "Is this really happening?" He thought to himself each heart beat seeming to take thirty minutes to pass before their lips finally met. When they did it was as if a defibrillator had just gone of, his whole body received a shock. It was more of a rush of tingling as if she had sparked a new life inside him. When the kiss broke she leaned back licking her lips, all he could do was look up at her wanting another kiss but not wanting to force her back down as he was after all still her subordinate.

"It's the same?" He said to himself, though she would here. "So I assume you're referring that you've kissed someone else?" He asked still looking at her, she had slipped up. Raijin was no fool he knew her well, there were only a select few people she would kiss in all of Las noches and none of them were guys. He left the question of that not wanting to press the answer that was rushing through his head when her heard what he said. He couldn't really argue Sara was very unique and if he had not been with Jes for so long he would most likely have the same feelings for her.
